Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: A Great Experience!

This was a great resort, with excellent customer service. The staff were always helpful and really tried to make sure that clients had a great experience. The great thing about choosing this resort is that you have access to the neighboring resorts that are not adults-only, as well as all of the amenities that come along with it. It's close enough to Tulum as well, which means you can do day trips and visit the attractions close by.

El Dorado Seaside Suites: Another Amazing Stay!

We recently stayed at the El Dorado Seaside Suites for the second time and were totally happy with this resort. The staff, service, grounds are absolutely perfect! The restaurants, rooms and pool were all top notch. The beach is very lovely; the water on the Seaside Suites side is rocky but that does not bother me. The water is warm and the beach is lovely. I would recommend this resort and hope to return again in the near future.

Selection Riviera Cancun: What an amazing week!!!

I can't say enough about this hotel! It was the most amazing place I've ever stayed. We had a walkout Jacuzzi suite and it was heaven. The room was spacious, beds so comfy, great shower, nicely appointed and clean! I travelled with my 5 year old and we really enjoyed being able to walk out of our room and jump into the lazy river; only complaint is that the picture shown on the Sunwing website for this particular room is wrong. I thought it had steps down and a rail to hold but those rooms are o [... read more]n the Adults only side so they might want to update the picture. Still it was a great room. Food was outstanding!!! So much to choose from and the room service was a great for lunch when we didn't want to leave the pool. The Nickelodeon area for the kids was fantastic! The indoor facility and the pools and splash pad! I cant say enough!! The staff were amazing. We are planning to return in January. I never stay at the same place twice but this place made me feel relaxed and happy and I want to feel that again!!!!

Platinum Yucatan Princess: Relaxing Resort with Wonderful Food

Overall this resort was absolutely wonderful for our 2nd anniversary and a Birthday celebration. We stayed at the Platinum Yucatan in a swim out room. Room: Our room was spacious, had all the amenities we needed and of course the swim out pool was pretty awesome and where we spent most of our time. The room did have a moderate musky odour to it Food: Every single meal was absolutely amazing. My personal fav was TAO and Rodeo with a close second. Entertainment: We saw 3 shows at the theatre during our stay, they were fun to watch, great dancers but got a bit repetitive. The resort hosted a "theme night" every evening with games/dancing that we really enjoyed participating in. Grounds: Our side of the resort had 1 pool with a swim up bar (not including our swim out pool) that was perfect and pretty low key. The other side had more of the main pool where there was a DJ, volleyball nets and more of a party atmosphere. Both were great. The sports park was great but poorly run. Unenthusiastic workers here made the experience not as enjoyable. But we did have fun at the batting cages and learning to paddle board Beach: The beach was perfect for relaxing on the non windy days. We saw a sting ray in the water close to shore that scared me away from swimming but could see a rocky floor. On windy days some seaweed lined the shores but it was still wonderful to relax. Tonnes of huts and chairs available. Service: We had great service during our stay and had no complaints. Staff didnt seem pushy for tips and constantly went above and beyond (except our short time at the sports park). Spa: we got a couples massage and spend an afternoon utilizing the spa facilities- sauna, jetted pool, aroma steam room and loved it. Found the prices to be a bit high but definitely a nice way to relax. Overall we absolutely loved this resort and would return and recommend to friends and family.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Good Resort

The grounds of this hotel are very well kept and are beautiful. The hotel is clean and well maintained. Food is good, however I felt it was better when we were there four and five years ago. I am gluten free and found my options were few when it came to deserts and also a lot of the main dishes were made with sauce and when asked no one seemed to know what was in them. The specialty restaurants are not as good as they used to be and the food was downright bad at a couple of them. Wait staff wa [... read more]s rude when asked about gluten free and were not willing to go out of their way to help. In fact I felt alienated when they found out I had special needs! This certainly was NOT the case on previous visits.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Everything you need, Great resort!

We loved our 7 day stay! Easy to get around, food was plentiful (with lots of selection), grounds were immaculate, rooms are basic (Very clean and functional), beach is lovely and relaxing. Will be back!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Fantastic resort

Everything was perfect .Room was very clean and well equipped. Bathroom was amazing. Room service was high quality.Transfers from hotel to the lobby and beach was very well accommodated .Food was very good and plenty

Barcelo Maya Palace: Marvellous Resort

We stayed at the Palace. Everything was spotlessly clean, rooms were luxurious and the food was great, even the buffet. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only drawback was the piped piano music. It was classical music, played way too loud and everywhere.

Barcelo Maya Caribe: Beautiful resort

Barcelo is amazing resort with very clean grounds and the rooms are very clean also. Food was outstanding and a lot of variety.All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The entertainment wasn't that greatest. There wasn't any entertainment at night at the bars. At other resorts that I have been to there were always bands and singers in the lobby or at a bar. Other than that pools were amazing and beaches nice.

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Amazing Resort

We just returned from a week stay at Grand Palladium Kantenah Resort and Spa, it was our third time in three years and we had an amazing time. We stayed in the Romance Villa Suite because we love the outdoor shower, proximity to the beach and La Jarra Beach Bar. Rodrigo our old friend and new edition Bermont are lovely people and great bartenders who always made us feel welcome and made us laugh and smile, no wonder we spent so many hours there. This is also the nicest part of the beach, where the sand is soft and white and the water blue. There were always lots of beach chairs available and it’s quiet and peaceful. The sargassum was an issue but the employees worked so hard every day to remove it. The food at all restaurants was good, the meat dishes are a bit on the salty side. Our favourite was sushi, the service was fantastic at all restaurants and we weren’t frozen by the A/C this time around. Cecilio and Israel are our favorite drivers that always welcomed us with smiles and were very helpful with getting my boyfriend around who had an ankle injury and needed assistance walking. The evening entertainment in the colonial lobby was fun and we liked the mix of live bands after the show. I have to mention Hemmingways where Luis makes a wonderful mayan coffee. We love this resort and can’t wait to go back.

Wildlife such as the comical, and sometime cheeky, coatimundi; agouti, grey squirrel, and black iguana abound in every exquisite area, howler monkeys shout noisily in the tree-tops, while the eagles fly high overhead scanning for prey. Exotic birds move freely in and out of the resort; colourful parrots, majestic pink flamingos, swans, grey crowned cranes. heron as well as many smaller species. The beautiful walks that meander through the resort are alive with the pleasant sound of waterfalls, and babbling streams – If you love nature you will love this place. While this resort has all the modern amenities one comes to expect of a five-star hotel, it delivers even more with its setting. Just minutes from the warm Caribbean Sea and a wide flat beach with white powder-soft sand, it has an illusion of being in the middle of a rain-forest. Very clever on the part of the designers! The meals were scrumptious, I have to commend the skill and artistry of the pastry chef – Alejandro – He is world class and his amazing creations have to be seen to be believed - Truly amazing and mouth-watering. Our room was kept spotless by the inconspicuous housekeeping team who left rose petal adorned towel creation on our comfortable king-size bed. The evenings were whiled away with awesome meals eaten at the elegant specialty restaurants and entertainment of a high standard. From reception to grounds-keepers, all the staff were friendly and polite. Having raved on about how much we enjoyed our stay there is one person I need to single out. Upon arrival at the airport there was a miscommunication between Iberoservice and the Sunwing agents and we were left without a shuttle service to the hotel. After waiting in the hot sun for 2 hours we decided to grab a taxi. At the concierge desk an exceptionally helpful YOUSEF took us under his wing and went above and beyond his duty, to sort out the issue. He made several phone calls, walked us to the Iberoservice desk where we received little assistance and then took us to the Sunwing representative, Antonio, who without hesitation refunded our taxi fare in full. I know that it is this kind of service that gives a business a good reputation, turns a bad situation into an opportunity to shine, and keeps customers coming back. I can’t even stress enough how amazing the resort was! Everything from the service to food was pristine! A big big shout out to Daniel, Alfredo & Jorge at RS. We will 100% be back and can’t wait! You need to have breakfast, lunch and dinner and La Palapa if you’re staying with Royal Service. Avoid the buffets because the a la cartes are just 100% worth it!

Dreams Puerto Morelos Resort and Spa: 4th time still a charm!

Can't say enough about this resort, from the short travel time from Cancun airport, the amazing staff, wonderful food and overall ambience, Secrets Silversands is a definite place to choose to relax and unwind. Accommodating staff at all levels, restaurants with top grade meals and comfortable rooms. In addition to the main pool, where the Entertainment Team does the majority of their games, there are smaller pools surrounding many of the buildings, allowing a "swim up" room feeling. Cesar in the Spa Our visit in January we noticed they had Clamato! so this trip we brought packages of celery salt for each of the bars and explained how a Canadian Ceasar was made and we, and others, enjoyed rimmed drinks! There are also 2 separate private Facebook groups solely for Silversands, where people who have never been there can ask questions and recommendations, or those that are there at the time, or in past, can add comments. Met a couple of people while I was there through it. Been to many destinations over the years and can honestly say that we have never met a better staff. Only downfall, if you're a beach person, not a very good beach and in September, with all the hurricanes in the Caribbean, the seaweed was even heavier in the water and on the beach than we have seen it before, and it stank, so it made sitting in the hot tub by the beach, unbearable for me. Only negative thing I can say!

El Dorado Royale: Amazing resort! Amazing Staff!

Had an amazing time. Lovely looking resort with lots of options for swimming and fun. Was particularly blown away by the quality of the food. Jojo's Caribbean Beach Grill was our personal favorite for both lunch and dinner. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Tons to do, beautiful beaches and they grow a lot of their own produce. Would highly recommend.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Relaxing getaway!

I highly recommend booking this resort! Its very clean, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the rooms are amazing. We were upgraded to a swim up suite upon check in. There is a decent amount of seaweed along the beach but the resort staff does a great job of cleaning it every day.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Always a good time

My husband and I were back at the Coba for the 12th time in 10 ten years. We always go back because it feels like home. We did miss seeing Viktor he was out having an operation on his knee. We took a ride over to see another friend at Sian Ka’an and to our disappointment he was no longer there. We were told he left and went to Canada. Good for him but bad for the hotel. Rene and Paulino at the pool bar were great. Food is always good and the people are what keep us coming back.

This is by far one of the best resorts I’ve stayed at! And I have been to a lot. The staff is great, the hotel is extremely clean and food is amazing. Ideal hotel for couples. It’s just a bit of a trek to beach but the shuttle comes pretty often. Very quiet atmosphere at night after the nightly entertainment which we loved. I would deiniflty come back to this resort again and again

Our hotel was Luxury Bahia Principe Sian Ka'an in Mexico. It was simply AMAZING!!! The room was spacious, always clean with excellent service. The grounds were so very beautifully well kept and lush. Oh my 😋, the food was first class all the way. The variety was astounding 🌺 All of the staff were excited to be of service to us. This included the waiters, bartenders, lobby staff and shopkeepers. Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Waterpark & Kids Club - treasures!

My kids (aged 5 and 4) loved the kids club and the waterpark. The Kids club has scheduled activities, and we can always gauge (by talking to the staff) whether the activities are appropriate for our kids or not. My kids looked forward to going and never want to leave. Coba is the furthest away from the beach out of all three associated resorts. We are not beach people, so we didn't mind one bit.
