Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: An A ONE RESORT

What a wonderful place for a holiday! The food is great and all the restaurants treat you like royalty. They have many pools but the main one is the best, especially with the swim-up bar. The rooms are amazing and comfortable. Will be going there again.

Bahia Principe Explore La Romana: Great Resort

Very clean, very friendly staff, very good food. The beach is very nice, but the water is murky, and not good for snorkeling. We really liked that we could walk either to the left or the right and get nearly a half hour walk in either direction. Spent most days at the beach under the shade trees rather than at the poolside. Stayed 14 days.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Great resort

The resort was what was promised. We had a great 10 days there. The food was great .The room was a bit smaller than we had anticipated from the brochure we did not spend a lot of time there as it was for the most part sunny and we wanted to spend time in the sun.

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Clean, Friendly and Good Food

Rooms were clean, staff were friendly, food was good, beach was nice. Service at the bars was slow and the resort was not at full capacity. No stools at any bar to sit and gab. Good bang for your buck

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Beautiful well maintained resort!

The resort was gorgeous. Very clean, the grounds were impeccably maintained and beautiful, our room was outstanding, the bar service around the pools and lobbies was excellent, the food was great, and dining room service very good. The only drawbacks from our point of view was that the resort was so huge that we had difficulty finding our way around and we were a fair distance from the ocean. The other thing was that many guests would save loungers around the pool and the beach and go off somewh [... read more]ere else so we were unable to find loungers even once at the beach and many times were stuck sitting in the hot sun around the pool! There is a rule at the resort that people are not to save loungers but this rule is poorly enforced. Communication was also difficult because of the language barrier. One other problem we found was that there was only one area where we could get light snacks all day, and that was down at the beach, which as I mentioned was a fair distance away. All other buffets and restaurants had set hours which was a bit inconvenient! The staff was very friendly.

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Dominican nice retreat

The hotel was not too large so therefore not overly crowded on the beach. Overall the hotel was quite nice with 2 relaxing outdoor sitting areas. Buffet area was a little tight for space when trying to look at what to eat. You had the option of eating indoor outside which was nice option. It took sometime for tables to be set and serve beverages which from my perspective was due to the lack of servers not the quality of service. Food was good but not great. Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Good time had!

Rooms were good and had lots of room for a family of 4. Only had one issue where room wasn't cleaned one or clean towels provided. Mini bar pretty good. Resturants- buffet had lots of selection, we tried 3 al cartel and enjoyed them all. Bar service could be slow at times and the odd time bartenders were not overly pleasant. Pools at Coba were great, very big and the kids enjoyed the splash pad. Coba was super busy, it I were to return I think I would stay at Tulum or Akumal section, little more [... read more] relaxing environment. Over all I would recommend coba to family's, not sure I would for couples or a group aldult vacations. We got what we paid for and were overall happy!

Bahia Principe Explore La Romana: Another great week at the Bahia in La Romana!

The resort is gorgeous, clean, upbeat and friendly. It was a great 'vibe' and the best lobby bar at any resort we've ever stayed at. When it closes, you can head to the disco or the awesome courtyard entertainment. Lots of fun!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Amazing wish we would have had two weeks

The resort is beautiful we have no complaints can't wait to go back. Food drinks and service for second too none.next time I may stay at Akuma closer to beach. The hacienda was fabulous lots of shopping. Excursion to ruins and Playa del Carmen excellent.we went to gourmet italian and brazillian restaurants delicious. Rooms beautiful and clean next time first or second floor third floor two many stairs for bad back but I survived. Excellent excellent excellent Thankyou Diana pongetti

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Beyond Expectations!!!!!!

Our recent stay at the Luxury Bahia Principe Akumal was beyond our expectations. The resort was huge and luxurious, not to mention that you have access to the Sian Khan, Tulum and Coba. The a la carte dinners were delicious and you have buffet breakfast, lunches, dinners and snack bar (24 hours a day). The daily entertainment was offered at each resort. Our beach was heaven. Water was clear and no sea weed in sight. The bar service was provided on the beach, poolside, lobby and your mini bar in  [... read more]your room. The grounds are meticulously maintained. We also visited a jewelry and taqueila factory and visited 5th Avenue in downtown Playa de Carmen, lots of shopping. Our experience is one we will never forget and definitely recommend it to everyone.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Amazing vacation at the Ambar

We have enjoyed the most wonderful week at the Ambar. The resort is amazing, the food is excellent, the animation team at the pool and during special events (Luis) do an excellent job. I also recommend going for a massage at the Spa; ask for Marcellina & Bianca.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: GOT TO GO HERE

Definitely, pay the extra cost for a Penthouse suite with Jacuzzi on a private balcony!! Very nice. Butler service and room service all included, and a great perk!! Buffets(breakfast/lunch/dinner) all fabulous!! Premium drinks included.. Excellent service all around. Would book Bahia Príncipe again!!

Cayo Levantado Resort: Great week with friends

The resort was beautiful, and both the rooms and common areas were kept spotless.The buffet food was good and the a la carte restaurants were very good. The beach was where we spent most of our time and had no trouble getting loungers .The pools were clean and refreshing when trying to cool off from the hot tropical sun. The staff was always friendly and helpful. very secluded resort with a great beach. 4 pools to choose from with many bars. Food at ala carte restaurants was very good and buffet was great. Our room, Master Suite was fantastic with great view of the ocean. Service and grounds were exceptional

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Great feel awesome staff!

Everything we experienced was amazing! The staff was great! All the upgrades were appricieted nothing went in noticed. The alacarte were a pleasant surprise.loved having the service in the beach. The cappuccino were awesome!

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Great resort

The resort is wonderful. It is clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It is a huge resort, so if you want to keep fit you can walk everywhere or take the little trains to transport you from your room (if not close to the beach/pool) to the pool and beach. The food is delicious and lots of variety in every restaurant. The entertainment is great and different most nights and there is something of interest going on in different locations, i.e. lobby, poolside, theatre. Bahia Principe Akumal has it all! Great location, good food, comfortable and clean accommodation, entertainment nightly, great staff and very secure. Along with the ability to choose the other 3 hotel amenities is a bonus.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Third visit and even better!

The a la carte restaurants available to Sian Ka'an guests are essentially unlimited. Meal presentation at every dinner was very classy and selection was really varied. Our ONLY complaint for the week was that the housekeeping was sometimes slow or incomplete.

Cayo Levantado Resort: Perfect holiday at an almost perfect resort

Best service and beautifully maintained. Perfect holiday but almost perfect resort. Only real complete is that the buffet food was always cold when I would eat it. Some bones in spaghetti sauce and the quality of buffet is so so. The a la caste were great. No complaints.

Great beaches - no seaweed, warm, shallow water...lots of room to relax in different beach areas. Can go snorkeling and kayaking right there. Five-star buffet, great restaurants and quality shows every night.
