Royalton CHIC Cancun: Amazing resort

The hotel was beautiful but the service was even better. The staff was so respectful and nice the person who stood out the most to me was Daniel from the pool side bar. Constantly taking order and going above and beyond left such a great impact he deserved all the tip he was so genuine

El Dorado Maroma: Amazing resort

Food, beach and service were the best. I am Celiac and they made sure that my food was prepared safely. If you like quiet this is the place to be. The only thing that I would add is that there are just very few lounge chairs at all pools so that is missing for me as I was never able to have one all week but at the beach no problem.

Marina Fiesta Resort and Spa: Totally worth it go and enjoy

Our time at the hotel was amazing. The front desk was so helpful so many times .Paty was wonderful. with the change of our room. Pools were so lovely. The only part of the hotel we did not like was all the signing. not fun We will be back.

El Dorado Seaside Suites: Fantastic Resort

We moved from the Suites to the Palms, next door (same property). Was a great decision as the Palms is more private than the Suites. Fantastic services and accomodations. Special thanks to our Concierge J Romero, and butlers Ana and Arturo - they were AMAZING!!!! They made our stay perfect. Very disappointing beach front though - it was a rock wall for the most part because the beach goes straight into the ocean (and not in a nice way).

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Must go!

My husband and I decided to have a quick getaway from the cold Montreal weather and we are so happy we did! We were not dissapointed at all! Jenn Black made it so easy to communicate with her, all the arrangements were made prior to our arrival and it was honestly such a stress free week. The hotel was clean, the staff is amazing and there are plenty of accessible ruins near the hotel. Thanks for a great week!

Riu Dunamar: Everything was perfect !

Nice grounds, gorgeous, spacious, new rooms. Full bar in room. Staff wore masks ALL THE TIME, guests were very much aware and obedient of the sanitary rules, in most part. Always as few dummies that you can easily avoid. Staff super friendly. Not the best hotel for Scuba Diving. But beach was nice.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Getting dated

Hotel is getting dated many rooms smell very molded ask to be change to a different room on the 3rd day they try to putting a air freshers in the ac vent to stop the smell of mold. Went to lunch to fine hamburger buns have KKK BURN INTO THE BUNS. ON FRIDAY TO SUNDAY THEY WOULD FILL UP THE RESORT with locals. Buffet was same food everyday and most food stations were empty monday to Friday but on the weekends they would make sure to have all kinds of food for the locals. Transit rep in the coba was no help and if you ask when would they be at the coba we were told they only come there if anyone checks in other wise they were at the other two hotels tulum or the other hotel. They jam you in vans with no concerns for covid.

Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres: Fabulous Resort

The hotel was beautiful. The staff friendly and efficient. Food was outstanding. Especially liked the fact that you didn’t need to book for most restaurants. COVID protocols were straightforward and well adhered to, keeping us safe without too much inconvenience. Beach was incredible. Pools were a little bit lacking, although the one by the Sky Lounge was decent enough.

Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres: Lovely resort

Great resort, lots of activities, food was fabulous, staff amazing - it also has a stunning beach with white sand and lots of tables and loungers, umbrellas. Only complaint is that if you are not staying on club side there are limited choices for pools (only two, very small). The one with the swim up bar faces a concrete wall, no view at all.

Riu Palace Peninsula: great resort

hotel is very clean , staff is attentive , professional , and very friendly .l the hotel is along the most beautiful stretch of beach , with a rocky part and sandy part . the negative part i find is the speciality restaurants. the food is not great what so ever . it's best to stick with the buffet , which is excellent , with lots of food choices . the pool grill is closed way too early , sometimes just after 2pm . there also should be a washroom in the pool area , so people don't have to go in [... read more]to the hotel , or get lazy and go in the pool . the stage show entertainment in the evening is good , but , nothing much after that for entertainment . overall it's a very nice resort , great staff , and nice relaxing holiday

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Renovated and Beautiful!

I changed my booking shortly after I booked at Tulum to Akumal because some friends were staying there but I regret not keeping my booking at Tulum! Tulum has been renovated and looks beautiful! Big bright signs all over the resort make it easier to navigate and find places like lobbies, restaurants and other amenities. The buildings themselves look newer as well as the balcony and doors. However, the beach is not as nice as it is near Akumal and therefore it is a bit far if you are looking for  [... read more]a good swimmable beach. BRING water shoes! the rocks on the ocean floor are sharp and everywhere. The food is really good and lots of different variety. The hotel staff are all great, friendly and really helpful. If you have friends staying at Coba, they won't be able to use get drinks at Tulum, which was not the case before. We went in September and the resort was mainly empty except for weekends.

Hotel Xcaret Mexico: Incredible resort

This is probably the best resort I have ever been to. The staff are incredibly knowledge, cheerful, attentive, and kind. The food is delicious, the grounds are beautifully maintained and landscaped. The artwork, design of the buildings and rooms, is top-notch. The included access to various Xcaret group parks and excursions is an incredible value and well worth it, I also recommend purchasing the photo packages so you don't have to use your own phone. The measures in place for COVID-19 included indoor masking, which was also encouraged while walking around the resort, temperature checks when entering buses and restaurants as well as contact tracing. Hand sanitizer stations were common and regularly provided when interacting with staff indoors.

Viva Maya by Wyndham: Amazing resort!

Just stayed here for seven days, everything was perfect! Friendly staff nice rooms everything was clean food was amazing lots of options to choose from being a vegetarian, definitely would go back! Couldn’t ask for anything better

Riu Dunamar: Travel during the vid

Rui Dunmar opened it self up to more of latin amirica than in previous times. I was a mice mix of people. The beach was excellent and cleaned of sea weed (sargasus) daily at around 6-7 am. For those who are "pineapple friendly" there is a long stretch of the beach at the end of main beach. The pool bars are nice, how ever make sure to pick a spot and stick with it as it can get crowded/ full (limit is 20 people max). How ever the disco is closed as well as some of the restaurants when i was there. The rooms and enemies are spotless. Expect to spend some cash though as everything is marked up (due to covid and lower than normal attendance). Coco bongo club and synore frog are open so book early.

Resort is very nice and clean. Great public area and lots of places to relax and enjoy the day. Food was very good as well as drinks. Spacious rooms and overall, a great resort. Staff are so friendly and polite.

Catalonia Riviera Maya: Excellent resort for the value

This was my second time there and most times your second time turns out to be not as good as the first but it was the opposite great time and the workers from the door men to bar tenders to the entertainment girls and guys they were great and amazing respect for me and other guests at the hotel. There are no complaints on food every place l went was excellent. I was there for a few pool parties and the celebration for there 200 anniversary of being independent country and it was great to see the [... read more] islanders celebrate there independence. I would like to say thank you to ladies who clean every day rooms, Also when ever i had question the front staff took care of everything. Barcelo Maya Palace: Beautiful latge property.

The food is top of the line- rspecially the Brazilian, Italian and French a la cartes. Only food complsint is that like all most Mexican resorts there is only milk rather than cream for coffee:( the resort is very latge so condider that if you jave monility issurs- buses run from different barcelo lobbies but not from the buildings that house rooms to lobby, restaurants etc. Do not waste money on the upgrade- to premium level. Beach is rocky and sandy but beautiful with sea turtles and natural life in the water.

Barcelo Maya Riviera: Absolute luxury and top notch service!

This was hands down the most amazing resort vacation my husband and I did. We are already talking about going back! The resort its self is so stunning and modern. All the staff went above and beyond to provide the best experience possible. We loved the Mexican and taco bar restaurants the most- very authentic and so delicious. I never felt like I had to get close to people and always felt very comfortable. We never saw any staff without a mask and everything was suer clean. We really felt taken care of and pampered. Wonderful experience that we cannot wait to return too!

Catalonia Playa Maroma: Safe to travel again

We just returned from our trip to Mexico. All in all it was a great getaway. The hotel was good. We don't really have any major complaints. Guessing things aren't perfect cause of the current situation (covid). They don't have all their staff due to the pandemic and the hotel not being fully booked. The workers were running their tails off. We actually left 1 in particular cause after waiting over an hour after already seated our food came out cold. We could appreciate the wait with being under staffed but then to have it come cold was disheartening. We feel for the workers cause they were working so hard. The girls at the front seating for the a la cartes get stuck telling people they can't serve them or it's an hour wait. We have been to a Catalonia hotel in Mexico before and they took reservations. Seems like such a simple way to keep people happy. The dinner buffet really needs to add more variety or change it up more often

Barcelo Maya Riviera: Gorgeous resort , entertainment is non existant

This was our second time staying at this beautiful property Barcelo Maya Riviera. The grounds are beautiful, the hotel is spacious clean and gorgeous. The a la carte restaurants on site can be a problem with the reservation list and trying to get in so book them as soon as you get there with guest services. There are 5 other hotels you can go to eat at and you can book the a la carte restaurants there as well which is a good thing. The hotel entertainment is a problem at this resort. The  [... read more]first time we stayed there we thought oh , it is new they will get it organized in time. Two years later the entertainment at the resort is still a problem. The entertainment seems to be mostly Mexican themed and ends at 11pm totally shut down. When you speak with other guests it is the topic of conversation. The music at the outside bar is electronic mostly, very loud and if you are not a fan it is annoying all day. Hope they get this sorted out for it is a major problem.
