Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Amazing Resort

We were booked to stay at the Grand Bahia Punta Cana and upon arrival we got upgraded to the Luxury Esmerelda which was a treat. Beautiful pools, grounds and rooms were so clean and always being manicured cleaned by staff 24hrs a day. The food here was delicious and staff were so welcoming and attentive. The whole resort was huge but awesome because there was so much to do and see. There is trolley service that runs every 5 mins if you don't want to walk from your resort to theatre, etc...so ppl really can't complain about how big resort is. You are fully accommodated in every section of resort. Beach was also great- clean, white sand, and sandy bottom where you swim. Constantly being raked and you can really see the difference this resort is with cleanliness, fun, and the beach compared to the Riu right beside it. This resort is big and very busy....but if you have trouble getting lawn chairs throughout day or beach chairs, just ask the guys on the beach and they will go grab you some and place them wherever you want. We 100% recommend this resort. We would never stay at the same resort twice BUT we will definitely be going back to this resort!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Tons of family fun!

The hotel was beautiful and the grounds were well kept. The room was large with 2 double beds and 2 singles. Great bathroom with jacuzzi bath. The staff were very professional. We used the kids club almost everyday for a few hours and also used in room babysitting one night. We attended all of the kids evening shows and they were fun! Silly but great fun for little kids. Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Wonderful resort

The stay at this resort was wonderful,the staff are excellent and the food is great. The rooms were spacious ,pools were great.The only done fall was the room service menu, it was limited, not a large selection.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Exceeded my expectations

This was our first time to Mexico, we have always gone to Punta Cana, the resort was beautiful and clean, as were the grounds, the beach and pools were nice and clean and no crazy sea weed along the beach. Our room had a beautiful view of the ocean and the staff and food were amazing as well ( I think I gained a few pounds lol) we went as three couples and not one of us could complain. Booking with trip central was nice fast and easy. Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Outstanding Resort

I have no idea why some of the reviews are so full of complaints. We had a wonderful time at this resort and would definitely return. The staff couldn't do enough for us, the maids did an excellent job cleaning our room and providing fresh towels even when we didn't ask. The waiters in the buffet were in constant attendance to our every need. Amazing swimming pools, one with a swim up bar.The beach was beautiful, but did have some rocky area's, but could be avoided. We never had no problem getti [... read more]ng a sheltered spot under a beach hut, which is very much needed as the sun is extremely strong. Tennis courts and multipurpose courts were easily accessible. Food was great, with chefs cooking fresh for you upon request-even in the buffet restaurant! No matter whether it was breakfast, lunch or dinner we always found something we enjoyed. In fact, we preferred this to the a la carte restaurants. The grounds were immaculate, and always being maintained and cleaned. Can't wait to return!!!

Absolutely amazing ! I highly recommendAmazing resort Service was super. Staff were friendly courteous. Very clean lots of hard-working staff. Pools clean great food. Customer service girl resort it was amazing .

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Nice resort

Decent resort although very busy, this was our second time there and last. It is big which we don't mind but found to many small kids this time that were loud. Also our plane home was cancelled and resort staff would not negotiate and a better rate for the one night extra we had to stay. They wanted $360 and the airline would only offer $250 for us, given we were there last year, just spent ten days there this time and they had rooms available we thought they should have done something for us so [... read more] we didn't have to transfer to another hotel for one night, they did nothing for us and were rude, we will not go to another Gran Bahia resort again! I would have thought that given they could make $250 instead of nothing for the night and keep their returning guests happy they would oblige, good business sense to me but no! As it turned out the Westin in Punta Cana where we were transferred to had much more comfortable beds, nicer bathroom and towels, the AC in the room actually kept you cool and the two meals we had were much better than the GB Bavaro. Gran Bahia resorts do not care about you, your needs or if you ever come back, and we won't be back.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Great Value for your money

Rooms are clean and modern furniture. Pools and beach excellent and never had a problem finding a chair. Many choices of where to eat. Staff very friendly. Grounds are amazing. transfer from airport to this resort for quick.

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Fantastic Vacation

The grounds are absolutely gorgeous. This is a huge resort that offers a shuttle service which was very helpful. We ate mostly at the Main Buffet and the food was awesome. Biggest buffet I have seen on any of our vacations. Lots of variety that no one would walk away hungry. The room was fantastic, we had a one bedroom om master suite and would do it again. Only thing I wished for was a rye & coke and they had neither. They carry Pepsi only which gives me severe heart burn but I wouldn't say it ruined my vacation. Water is always good lol and so is Vodka and Orange Juice. Great Vaction! I have already recommended this resort to a view of my friends and can't wait to go back.

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Very tropical resort but lacked good service

Beautiful and well maintained grounds. Food was excellent and lots of variety. Rooms were nice and staff were pleasant. Only complaint is that resort was overbooked, and there didn't seem to be enough staff to handle the requests. There were long waits at the bar and the buffet. Forget about getting into any of the a la cartes unless you wanted to dine at 9 pm. Also lacked in entertainment; never saw any of the entertainment crew at all.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Luxury resort

My girlfriend and I just got back from a 7 day stay. It was our first time in Jamaica and definately won't be the last. All resort employees were extremely helpful and fun. The food was top of the line, room service and butler service was great.

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: A definite on my return list!!

I had reservations on traveling solo for a tropical vacation... But it turned out to be awesome... Great service, amazing food...all my needs met and then some! I would give it a 4.5 rating. My trip central agent chose the best place for me... And would use her again.

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Great family vacation

Excellent resort for families with little guys. Room was spacious and modern. Large private beach with hard packed sand nice for walking. Grounds and buildings were well maintained. Only complaint is the hotel supplied cribs were unsafe & rickety at best. Bring a playpack if you have children, everything else was great!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Not as nice as the last time I went

We had a good time, however I did notice the Coba has gone down hill since my last stay there 5 yrs ago!! Still enjoyed most of the food and pool side entertainment. Our rooms were extremely dirty with mud splattered all of the balcony. We didn't get water everyday but one day we recd other peoples half drank water. That was disgusting!

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Great resort.

Grounds and main pool area are wery well kept. Beach is close to anywhere you are staying in the resort. Buffet was extremly good with large variety of foods. A la Carte restaurants were also very good.

The Eurostars Grand Cayacoa: Beatiful Hotel and EXCELLENT STAFF.

The best thing about this hotel is the ANIMATION TEAM and their hospitality. The Bahia Principle had a wonderful buffet and variety for the inclusive package. I recommend the Italian restaurant on site as well, although I personally did not enjoy the others, with a party of (9) we had mixed reviews of the gourmet restaurants on site - but there are 3 to choose from... so something for everyone!

Food was amazing, but we found the resort much to large and impersonal, we decided to try a 5 star to see the difference, but actually felt we received less then lower star resorts we were required to wake up early to reserve a chair by the pool or the ocean or we would not have one for the day, we made reservations at the steak house but none of the employees new were it was after 1 hour of being taken to different areas of the resort we ended up insisting we eat at another spot . The hotel; very attractive, and elegant (on the highest elevation and on a cliff) The sea-view from the main hotel building; very romantic (small islands connected with bridges and mountains) The landscaping; beautifully designed with paths to walk even for people with mobility issue. The restaurants and food; 24 hours available, variety, yummy and delicious. The entertainment; fantastic!! The town of Samana; can see from the hotel, very picturesque. The hotel "service taxi" will take you there and pick you up every hour for free. The travel time 5 minutes. Tours; fantastic!. Thank you Edwardo! (tourist guide) I took catamaran to the Los Haitises National Park and a tour to the Playa Rincon-on the other side of the Samana Peninsula (Atlantic Ocean). I advise to take the "option plus" version. My room was on the fourth floor (407). Make sure to make a sew-view reservation in the main building. Villas have separate swimming pools but no beach and they need to come to the main area. If you are a traveler and not only beach body this resort is a perfect choice for you.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Luxury Bahia-Jan 12, 2016

This was our second time to this resort. Last time we stayed on the Grand Bahia side. We stayed on the luxury side this time and it was awesome!! It's like a brand new hotel. The extra money we spent was worth it. They are building a new beach for the luxury side. Kind of small but nice sand. The people at this resort are so helpful and nice. Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Beautiful place

Travelled on Jan 23rd. It was a beautiful place, amazing beach and very clean. The rooms were great. Staff was friendly. Wifi was only in the lobby and was choppy at times. Food was ok. The BBQ restaurant was the best a la carte. The resort itself is huge. 5 resorts in one but you don't feel it cause there's buses that are constantly going to and from the beach/lobby. I would definitely recommend the place.
