Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: A must stay! I

Wonderful people and services. Food is out of this world. The trolly ride to the beach is quick and easy. We are taking the family back next year. Loved the idea of having everything at your finger tips

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Huge, friendly resort

Our room was quite spacious and clean. I like the idea of having small units scattered throughout the grounds. The grounds are kept scrupulously clean and are a pleasure to walk through - or take a cart caravan if one is too tired to do the walk. The specialty restaurants were okay in the Coba area, but our favourite was the Tortuga Rodizio Brazilian restaurant in the Tulum portion of the resort. The buffet restaurant in the Coba portion was outstanding. This was our second time here and on [... read more]e of the reasons that we returned was the buffet - the waiters work very hard to keep up with the crush of people. Even with a full resort, the food was fresh, plentiful, varied and very tasty. How they manage to keep up, I'll never know. All the bartenders that we dealt with were quite friendly with some speaking English better than others. It's an international resort with many languages from Europe heard along with the Spanish, English and French from our North American countries. The beach is a short cart ride away, but it wasn't very walkable at this time of year because of the seaweed that was being brought to shore by the waves. The workers had it cleaned up one day, then two days later, the shore was filled again. But that is just this time of year, during our last visit in October the beaches were pristine. I would stay here again in a heartbeat since we feel very at home here, although next time I would choose the adult portion of the resort.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Awesome

Beach was a disaster but this not depend of the hotel, even that the hotel was doing the best for fix that, pool and buffet awesome, Tequila a la carte restaurant not that good at all, Alberto the start server.

El Dorado Royale: A fantastic place to stay!

The staff were great. The rooms were comfy and we'll kept. The food is amazing. I cannot wait to go back. If I could, I would have stayed there and never come home. The pools were all great, but I liked that some were salt-water and some were not.

Breathless Riviera Cancun: Exhausted

The scenery, service and look of the hotel was amazing, but the hotel acoustics were made for a concert environment in that if you need sleep you can only really do so between 4 a.m. - 9 a.m. when the music stops and everyone goes "home"..unless of course you can sleep while being out at a night club. When I got to my room after being awake and travelling for hours I was completely exhausted but couldn't nap due to the noise that came from all sides. The almost constant tech/electeonic music pum [... read more]ping, people talking, yelling, squealing that I could hear in the room was extremely frustrating and it grated on my nerves due to a lack of sleep. Closing the curtains, covering my ears and putting a towel at the bottom of the door did nothing to drown out the noise. Having the entertainment everywhere is a poor design. I've never been to any hotel or resort where the entertainment wasn't contained or separate from the rooms. The joke is I chose an adult only hotel to avoid the noise of kids...walking down the beach past the other hotels that had kids seemed quieter. I waited some time to take this trip and could have gone anywhere so I was very excited when I arrived and saw the beauty of the place but that quickly turned to the biggest vacation disappointment I've ever had. I'd only recommend this hotel to someone who wants to be up all day and night partying. I have a very demanding profession and lots of personal responsibilities so in my getaways I need a balance and physical divisions between sleep and play so I highly doubt I'd ever return.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Beautiful

I thought the place was beautiful. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. There was a large variety of food for us to choose from. Loved the entertainment offered. The few things I didn’t like was our room didn’t get cleaned until 2pm on most days, at one of the restaurants you had to wear pants or you couldn’t go in, the pool closed at 8pm.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: TRULY PARADISE

I am a traveler but this resort is like none other in the world. My boyfriend and I stayed for 7 nights to celebrate my 30th birthday in June and everyone we interacted with went above and beyond to make sure I felt special. From the amazing interactions with wild animals to the most attentive staff, this resort makes sure your ever vacation desire is met! Well done and thank you for the amazing memories. We will be back again :)

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Total paradise

My favorite part of this hotel was the amount of pools! It was perfect t if you wanted to relax or be in a party mode or if you had kids, they had a pool for that too. The food selection was great! Something for everyone. Many restaurants to choose from.

Ocean Coral and Turquesa: Don't go there!

The hotel was good but not the service; I had to ask everyday for fresh towels which took more than 2 hours to get! And rooms were being clean on demand only with the same sheets placed correctly. There was vomit in the bar pool for two days, no one took the time to clean it. In the buffet staff were taking food for themselves first instead font servicing us. They were always after us for tips , and asking directly if you wouldn't give. People there if it wasn't I theirs interest (commission) they wouldn't help you. Over all I wish I never went there. Please chose a better place!

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: very nice!

The grounds and rooms were all well kept and there was great service at the pools and speciality restaurants.The activity people were alot of fun.The buffets were not so good as they were always the same food and not very hot.Our favourite place was The Hard Rock where we had a great waiter.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Amazing resort

This Hotel is huge, clean, and very beautiful, swiming pools are very nice, with water jets, a lot of activities, the Alacarta Restaurant are so nice food very tasty, with no exception, all are very good. night shows are incredible, but the only painful part is the beach , not good at all seaweed are gathered all along the beach like small mountains, they try to clean it but doesn't work at all, this is why a bad smell comes in the airbetween time to time, they build up a rocky wall to stop wa [... read more]ves from reaching to the beach.The towel services are great. all workers are very friendly and smiling, polite, and respectful, they welcome you like home

Catalonia Yucatan: Beautiful - everything you need in a few short steps

Catalonia Yucatan Beach Resort was lovely. The check in was quick and we were given a room upgrade as we were celebrating our 25th anniversary. Truthfully the room and bathroom was a bit tired although clean and comfortable. The grounds and pools were very beautiful and very clean. The beach did have a seaweed problem that the workers could not get ahead of but there was beach area by the lagoon which was free from seaweed and great for swimming. The Buffets were very good food, great variety, good service too. The a la carte restaurants were completely amazing quality, service and ambience. We did not attend the disco or theatre so have no comment. Armando a drink server was absolutely amazing, he was super friendly and very attentive to our needs around the pool. This resort has a sister resort next door which we had full access to. We loved the resort, so easy to find your way around - very comfortable - not a massive area where a golf cart is needed to get around. It is a short walk to the Marina which has a marine show, restaurants and plenty of shops. We had an amazing 2 weeks and would return!

Barcelo Maya Caribe: Beautiful Resort 🏝

The place is very clean, they are constantly cleaning and painting. Beach is beautiful and the food is amazing, a big variety. A lot to do, you won’t be disappointed. The beach has reefs, rocks for nice pics or just nice white sand. If you do a la cartes, do Mexican Lindo and Kyoto. Food is amazing and at Kyoto you get a nice show too. Barcelo Maya Colonial: Would recommend to anyone

This was a very clean and fun place. Nice people and staff. Only issue we had was with my girlfriends vegan preferences which took a while to solve at each restaurant but they always had a resolution. There is enough stuff to do here to be busy for even two weeks and we went for one. I want to come here again and habe beem telling all my friends to book here if they plan to go away. Seaweed can be annoying but there was always a somewhat clear ocean area to swim.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Nice resort

Hotel was nice. Under staffed . A bit dirty . Food was excellent at buffet but not worth waiting for restaurants to eat . My Kids loved the pool too . Very far from city and Tulum beach was covered with seewe.

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Good resort

Hello Barcelo Maya Colonial, I found the resort was great. Good Food ,rooms, kids waterpark,great service for the money.Thoroughly enjoyed it. Following things needs to be considered by Management. Internet should be for all ,all the time for non premium guests as well. Internet for Non premium guests It wood be nice to introduce huts for shades on the beach. Alacart bookings for restaurants was difficult though we tried to book on the same day we arrived. When we asked why is it so. People [... read more] book on line before they arrive. This is the first time I have heard about this. We have been to 15 to 20 resorts never had an issue. We got bookings for which we did not desire. It needs to be reviewed by Management of the resorts. If this is improved it would be a wonderful resort and vacation. Beach had a lot of weeds but they cleaned everyday. That was because of the storm the previous week. All in all a great resort. Good FUN. Please provide internet at all times to ALL GUESTS as part of the package deal

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Loved the resort!

Everything about this resort was outstanding! The only complaint for the week would just be regarding the weather, other than that, the resort was amazing. Would absolutely return! I would advise anyone planning on staying to book their A la carte restaurants ahead of time by emailing the hotel. This ensures you will be able to try the restaurants available. I would recommend the Gourmet and Brazilian restaurants on the Akumal resort.

The hotel is beautiful and had a great stay. The food, the rooms, the pools and the water park for kids all outstanding all the amenities were great. The alacarte dinners and the main buffet were excellent. The employees were so friendly and super customer service. The check in manager Esteban Marcial was so helpful and provided excellent customer service. The beach had lots and lots of seaweeds. We could only go in the ocean 1 day only. Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Bahia Principe Sian Ka'an - a Gem in the Mayan Riviera

From the welcoming Reception to the scrumptious buffet , this was a vacation destination that left us feeling pampered and relaxed. Every little thing was anticipated and catered for. The jungle setting came complete with the lazy iguana and curious coati walking across the paths. Exotic, or as the Mayan would say, Xotic! Ocean Riviera Paradise: Amazing resort

This resort was one of the best resorts i've stayed at. I found the room and the resort itself very clean. All the workers were very nice and friendly and seemed to enjoy their jobs. Food was great, i found the portions small at some of the a la cartes but it still tasted amazing. I loved that their was a coffee and ice cream shop at the resort as well. I would definitely return to this resort.
