Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Very nice resort
We had a great time at Bahia Principe, the beach was amazing and so many beautiful pools. We also booked 3 tours to see the Piramids and Xcarett. We will defianately go back. Thank you for the amazing experience.
Platinum Yucatan Princess: Great getaway!
Hotel was beautiful - staff was friendly - food was great - service was awesome too. I would say more access to a variety of snacks or access to a restaurant 24 hrs a day would be required - other than that, all was great. We would definitely recommend this resort as a place to stay and hope to come back one day.
Bahia Principe Explore Coba: RESORT
The people were confused a lot at the front desk and also getting the transportation to our rooms took along time. The food was good and the restaurant and bar staff were brilliant. The Westjet agents at the hotel are very rude, don't want to deal with them again. The resort was kept in great condition and our rooms were nice.
Barcelo Maya Caribe: Aweosome resort
One of the beat hotels i have been too. Its soo clean and staff are professional. The food was second to none. The resort has everthing you need from gift shops to spa to dolphins to jet skies to kids water parks
TRS Yucatan: Fantastic resort in the Riviera Maya - best vacation yet!
I have been a fan of Grand Palladium hotels for years and have visited the Riviera Maya several times. The best trip yet, however, was at the newly renovated and transformed TRS Yucatan (formerly, The Royal Suites Yucatan). It was simply amazing from start to finish. Our expectations were far exceeded! What was so great? The rooms, the infinity and salt-water pools, the butlers in the villas, the a la carte restaurants, the staff and service. As an experienced traveler, I've become quite discern [... read more]
The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Service Sergio
The food was fantastic, rooms clean and pool fresh. The service was average. The front desk team was good and very attentive. When we had an issue with our room and we were not happy with the result the front desk attendant couldn't make us happy until the Manager Sergio attended to our issue. Once Sergio got involved he calmed us down, dealt with our issue and helped us to the best of his ability. Class act, dynamite guy, wish every resort I have been at had a person like him.
Ocean Riviera Paradise: Beautiful Resort
Everything was amazing about this resort from the time we got in to the time we left food, staff, rooms all were amazing. The only thing that needs little bit of attention is to have frequent trams services.
Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: Nice resort
The place wasn't bad. there's a small beach to swim. I prefer if they put more authentic Mexican food in the buffet. The room was recently renovated we love it. The Ala carte restaurants were okay. The Thai resto I won't recommend. The concierge are very very helpfull and always available particularly Guillermo n Juan Guillermo. I would go back.
Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Beautiful Resort But ...
My husband and I stayed at the Grand Bahia Principe Coba for 10 days, beginning May 3, 2018. We have travelled to other resorts in the Caribbean before, but this was our first trip to Mexico. The entire (extremely large) resort is beautiful. The rooms are lovely and housekeeping was awesome. All the staff at the resort were very kind and helpful. Food was great in all the restaurants, both buffets and a la cartes. Pools are beautiful and clean. Families with children will love the childre [... read more]
HM Playa del Carmen: Amazing hotel, excellent location
We spent one week at HM Playa del Carmen, The rooms are very clean and comfortable except for odor of mustiness. Amazing personnel, very helpful, answered all our questions. The breakfast was excellent with fresh products, frresh fruits, good coffee, waffles, pancakes, ecerything made daily. Great service, would have liked dining room to be open for lunch or supper. The pool is very beautiful, clean, plenty of chairs and beds. The beach is a 10 minute walk, and I found it was not very good, [... read more]
Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Tulum excitement
Hotel was great lots of restaurants and pool activities, food was great and service was ok. The only thing i really didn't like was the beach area which was full of seaweed I'm guessing it was the time of year but it should have been cleaned up as best as they can. I really loved the markets which was walking distance from our vila. Overall i would give it a 8 out of 10.
Selection Riviera Cancun: Beautiful!!
Excellent option for a wedding! The food was delicious and the staff were greeting us all the time. IMPORTANT: The A/C did not work well and the bathtub "on" button was very difficult to press I wish I could stay longer!!
Hyatt Vivid Playa Del Carmen: Not coming back (No Stars)
The resort is still beautiful, but under new management many things has changed and not in a good way. 99% of previously served stuff, who actually have built THE ROYAL brand was...FIRED. For all time we stayed, we've seen only TWO familiar faces, whom recognized us. The rest are all strangers. Their slogan is "Home away from home"... it is not anymore ... it is more like motel now. We've seen much fewer people around the pool. That indicates the popularity is rapidly dropping. People are voting [... read more]
Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: only okay
Very nice grounds. Far too large though and major tons of walking. Food was quite good, excellent variety and excellent presentation Service varied from Excellent to Mediocre! Beach was bad...a ton of stinky algae. Pools quite good with good service. Facilities varied and quite good. Shuttle service hit or miss. Would not recommend it.
Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Ok Resort
I was at this resort for 10 days for a wedding. The resort is large and a lot of walking. Not good for people that can’t walk long distances. There are golf carts but few and far between. They are mostly for the premium Guests. I stayed in a superior suite which was very nice but needed drawers for your clothes. The buffet restaurant food was pretty good. But the service was atrocious. We mostly set our own tables and served our own water and did without coffee most times. Our last evening [... read more]
Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Excellent resort
The grounds were very clean and well maintained. Very pleasing to the eye. The staff were friendly and courteous. One thing to be improved is the musty smell in the rooms due to humidity. The sulphur like smell every once in a while.
Ocean Riviera Paradise: Modern, newly built resort with many amenities! EXCELLENT food and restaurants!
Amazing hotel. Very nice decor; very modern, while also being very culture specific. Lots of amenities; including bowling which was unique to a all inclusive! Restaurant selection was very good, and quality was SPECTACULAR! Very nice rooms, supportive beds.
Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Pleasantly surprised
My main concern when booking was food quality given it was a 5 star resort. I have not been to Mexico in many years so I was hoping it would be more than a step up from Cuba or DR and it was so much better. Ala cartes every night. All were very good except the Mexican at Tulum oddly. Had to trolley to the beach and the other two resorts which was not a big deal. Overall good value.
Dreams Aventuras Riviera Maya: Excellent resort
Room was very clean Bed very comfortable. Food was very good. Service excellent. Would return. The beach had too much seaweed. That was the only complaint. But when we told front desk they offered a shuttle for hotel next door to use.
Hotel Xcaret Mexico: Amazing Hotel!
This hotel was amazing! The hotel itself was gorgeous, the food delicious, and the staff incredible! The parks and tours included are amazing! A lot of culture, nature and adventure in every single activity you do. One week was not enough time to do everything they have to offer. The hotel is huge and full of surprises, as are the parks, so be prepared, and have in mind what you really want to do as one day might not be enough to cover all activities in one park; especially Xcaret and Xel-Ha; th [... read more]
