Riu Republica: Amazing Service

Beautiful grounds. Pools were awesome and so many choices. Water slides were fun. Service was the best than anywhere I’ve visited. The resort is modern and clean. The staff really stood out the most. Awesome people.

Ocean Blue and Sand: Good resort

Some areas were great and other areas could improve on customer service, Had to wait for our room to be done which was way past 3pm, no ironing board in room, no welcoming bottle of rum. For those that love the beach, iit is so, so.

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Very nice resort!

The hotel rooms were comfortable and spacious. The beach was beautiful, you could take long walks in both directions, palm trees giving you shade. The drawback was that the part of the beach in front of the resort was very crowded. Regarding dining - there was always a great selection of nice dishes to choose from. As far as excursions from the resort I took one to the National Park. The places we saw were beautiful but the lunch we got during the excursion was horrible . I had never ever se [... read more]en anything like this. Luckily a friend of mine who had taken that trip before advised me to take some food with me, otherwise I would be starving . There was just rice and noodles , some raw cabbage and tiny pieces of chicken back bones. Hopefully that will change as I complained to the Air Canada Vacations representative , but it is hard to tell.

Ocean El Faro: Vacation Paradise

It's a very nice Resort .The room as clean and we'll looked after. Food was good and a lot of selection 6.swimming pools with pool bars.We had nice weather and everything was A -OK .We mad nice People from all over the world . After breakfast went to the Beach and relaxed on the lawn chair . There are plenty of lawn chairs available.

Caribe Deluxe Princess: Wonderful trip

Love this resort especially walking to lobby past mangrove and the geese and peacocks and other wildlife. Food was good and staff friendly. Beautiful beach and lovely lobby and buffet building. Only negative is the rooms needing much updating which we understand is being done.

Viva Heavens by Wyndham: Great Vacation!

I wasn’t sure what to expect before our vacation as Google was telling us our resort was only a 3 star, but we were told it was a 4.5 star resort, and some of the reviews weren’t the greatest. However, from the moment we landed at the airport in DR, until we left and landed in Toronto, everything was great. My boyfriend and I got engaged while we were away, and have nothing but positive things to share about our vacation. We had booked a king size bed, but were brought to our room with two d [... read more]ouble beds. I went to the front desk right away, and they changed it immediately for us. There was only one pool, but it was never crowded. We only stayed up to watch one evening show - the magic show on the Thursday - recommended, but we heard the evening entertainment was great. ALL of the hotel staff were friendly, and chatty. They were helping my boyfriend learn Spanish during breakfast - “cafe con leche”. Overall, it was an amazing trip. We will definitely be back!

Lifestyle Tropical Beach Resort: Tropical Oaisis

My boyfriend and I stayed at Lifestyle Tropical Beach Resort the week of January 20 for my Birthday Celebration. The hotel was very clean and beautiful. We were in building 5, it was up to date and really clean. The staff was amazing and friendly. They treated me extra special on my Birthday. The food was delicious and flavorful. The drinks were plentiful and strong. There were Peacocks among the beautiful picturesque views. The property is an oasis away from the winter blues. The Ying & Yan [... read more]g Spa was delightful. The staff were professional, and the massages and facial treatments were great. I would recommend their services. Their smoothies were delicious. The gym was clean and had nice equipment. The sauna and jacuzzi were really clean and relaxing. The VIP Beach was amazing. The hammock cabanas were our favorite. As we could relax by the water and sway to the ocean breeze. The waitstaff at the beach were wonderful with our drinks and food orders. The entertainment staff did a great job keeping us entertained. The Michael Jackson tribute show was well done (so talented). There was something scheduled every day aerobics, bingo, karaoke, volleyball, water sports etc. There was never a dull day. We took the tour to see the VIP Member offer. I have been to many other tours at different resorts as I travel every year for my birthday, but this tour was my favorite. We will be back to definitely purchase the membership. We read a lot of the comments before booking and could understand some complaints, nothing to ruin your vacation. Some visitors are rude and others are nice (keep that in mind). We had no complaints. We loved our stay. We tipped generously when we were treated nicely. They appreciate the little things and will remember you. We would definitely recommend this Hotel.

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Awesome resort

Absolutely loved our stay at majestic colonial! The rooms were beautiful, and staff was super friendly. There were a lot of different activities during the day, and the shows at night were awesome! Overall the resort was well maintained. Would stay here again!

Blue Bay Villas Doradas: Relaxing Week

BlueBay is a small, older resort on a beautiful beach. For the size they offer a good variety of amenities. Rooms were clean. We had two beds pushed together as a ‘king’. No sitting area and one very little drawer for clothes, in the closet. Bathroom clean, new, but again, everything very small. Buffet had good selection, booked the 3 Ala Carte. Construction noise (no fault of BB) annoying. Hard to hear the ocean waves over the sound of builders. Someone posted pics of a dirty/littered beach. Not sure where they were taken, the BB beach was cleaned daily of seaweed and debris. We loved walking along the ocean beach through the Playa Doradas complex and felt very safe. Vendors on the beach were respectful of a ‘No Gracias’, but we often had interesting conversations with the regulars. I had an amazing hour-long massage on the beach from Cecelia, for a third of the spa cost. Overall, relaxing week in the sun and sand: just what we wanted.

Caribe Deluxe Princess: Great resort to spend a week

We were here January 17-24 2020. Resort grounds were immaculate and beautiful. Creates a good feeling with the wildlife around you. Food was average but with upgrades they are doing this year to the resort, hopefully food will improve as well. Rooms were dated in decor but satisfactory. Overall, we would definitely go back to this resort with out a problem. We would recommend this resort to couples or families without hesitation. Blau Natura Park Resort: Amazing resort

It was a fantastic resort. The grounds are amazingly beautiful, the beach wow it has been a while since I had so much fun. I recommend the place. Peaceful and pretty. They food, rooms and the. Service was fantastic. We had a great experience I am going back. The people were so friendly.

Blue Bay Villas Doradas: Great place, but.......

We had the 'superior' room and it was so lacking in storage. There was a small three drawer dresser in the closet that was maybe 24" high. No dresser in the room, nowhere to sit, no couch and worst of all two double beds in some sort of large bed joke. Even a Queen sized bed would have been ok but the two beds pushed together, fully separate sheets and blankets was a joke. Bathroom had virtually no counter space. ON a positive note, the food, grounds, pool, staff and virtually every aspect  [... read more]was great except for the room itself which was like 1 out of 10.

Viva V Samana by Wyndham: Wonderful vacation

The resort is beautiful, clean and delicious. Well kept grounds, clean rooms, scrumptious restaurants. Never waited for food or drinks. Amazing staff. Now the bad. When we arrived at airport we had to fill out another declaration from. Mass confusion. It is 9pm we are hot and tired. The print on the forms are so small. Why couldn't we do it on plane ? We waited over an hour for everyone to complete these forms so we could shuttle to our hotel. And there were no drinks. Not a welcome cock [... read more]tail, not beer for sale at airport or on bus, first time for us, no beer ! Not even water to drink! When we arrived at hotel there was 1 sandwich in room. Only sandwiches available from room service. By now it is 11pm. We are at only bar open, no snack bar !the Disvo has ear splitting music and of course no one in it. We grabbed drinks and sat in lobby. Next problem. SMOKING. It is not enforced. Smoking with non smoking sections. Saw people sit at non smoking tables and smoke. Some took signs off table. Staff would do nothing about it. My last complaint is the bar , disco closes whenever.....we were seated in front of glass door to Disco, playing cards, drinking, and tipping. Twice she closed bar an hour early. Didn't ask if we would like another drink, of course ! And didn't tell us she was closing. We would have been quite happy with another drink or 2. It was only midnight and all inclusive. The Activities were great. Sometimes you had to remind them but they were willing g to play all the games and we had a great time !

Excellence Punta Cana: Relaxing Resort

Very clean resort. Grounds were meticulously maintained. Some signs of wear and tear (tiles missing in pool) but overall, okay. Bar, porters and room service were outstanding. Restaurant staff ranged from indifferent to very good. Buffet is limited compared with other similarly rated resorts we've been to. Entertainment was okay but lacked variety (dance moves performed to different music themes gets repetitive). Don't get us wrong, we enjoyed the resort.

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Great time!

We had an awesome time at Majestic Colonial thanks to O’Neil Graham for once again exceptional service. The resort welcomed us back for a second time with banners on the door and close to pool and ocean. We had a wonderful time with exceptional service. Staff was very attentive to everything. I can’t wait to go back.

Grand Memories Punta Cana: Had a few issues

Everything was good. I felt they could’ve replenished more at the Buffet. Ran out of food, fast and they took awhile to replenish. Bar fridge in the room I needed to call to fill the fridge pretty much every day. I know it’s a kids friendly resort, however some kids were really screaming at the quiet pool and I had to ask him to stop screaming!!!

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Amazing resort

Wonderful grounds, very nice kept, clean and stuff very profesional, and helpful. Food excellent, very fresh and well prepared. specially fruits always fresh and plenty to chose from. Restaurants re very good specially the brasilian one was amazing.

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Great Resort

We had a group of 10 of us go down. We were able to have rooms close together and group reservations as well. The rooms were clean and resort grounds tidy as well. Staff are very polite. Would recommend

Casa Marina Reef Resort: Good value for the money

I must start off by saying that our requests...which had been sent in with our purchase of this trip were completely ignored. We specifically requested a ground floor room as far away from the main pool area as possible. We were put on the 3rd floor, right near the pool! They OVERBOOKED the resort by 30 rooms! Thankfully, they own a second resort and they got us a ground floor room the next day after talking with Franklin. The food was excellent at the buffet restaurant and varied. I [... read more] would not recommend eating at the Mexican restaurant....it was not worth it. The Italian and the Seafood restaurants were very good. The staff was amazing! They were extremely helpful and courteous! Several things that we were very frustrated with: Due to the extreme weather, the beaches were closed most of this trip. As a result, there were no lounges to be had. People save them overnight and you cannot get anywhere to sit during these types of days. We also were not able to get dry beach towels for the first 3 days...also due to people leaving them out overnight on the lounges....and then changing these in for the dry ones. Also, the fact that they want to CHARGE you for the internet is absurd. You do not even get it in the lobby....and the price they want to charge for it is Rediculous! If you need data and internet, take you cell phone and walk down the street to the grocery store or to the cell phone store for a sim card.....cost about $12. And lasts more than a week! (These are the reasons why I would not return again.) The staff make this place worth staying at. The rooms are nice. Being so close the town is a bonus if you like to explore.

Excellence Punta Cana: Amazing resort

The Resort was great .food was good stuff was awesome. The stuff made you feel at home. The grounds were very clean. Never had a hard time to get chairs at the pool or the beach never had one complain about the resort.
