Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Our 4th time to the Bahia Principe

We had a great time at the "Bahia Principe Sian Ka-an. The check in was done in no time at all. We spend 7 days at this very nice resort. Since we are elderly ( 85 ) We are not during any excursions any more, we have them done on our earlier travels Our first outing was to the Hazienda, a free trip from the resort to do some shopping.Even our trip to the beach was a one time experience. Our room was 40211 close to the lobby, The walk to the lobby and Buffet was a 5 Min. walk.The food is very good and plentiful also a great variety. . We met 2 waiters Walter and Jonathan that were outstanding in our mind, 2 very friendly and helpful young men in any way. So were others but these 2 young men were outstanding. The personal at the reception were always helpful and friendly in giving advise in a friendly manner.We went to a sit down Restaurant , were reservation was recommend, the "Alux", excellent food , excellent service and very friendly personal .I would recommend this Resort to any body, who is looking for a relaxed vacation.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Great Time!

We stayed in the Tulum resort for a bachelor party and had a great time. Despite some bad weather for the first couple of days, the resort itself was awesome! The resort is quite large so you will be doing lots of walking unless you catch a shuttle at the lobby. The rooms were nice and equipped with AC , the food was pretty much the same in the buffet for breakfast lunch and dinner, unless you book an a la carte which were pretty good. Ocean Riviera Paradise: Resort of Relaxing Vacation

Pros: - Food was well done, varied and fresh. Double check the meat to ensure it is cooked if eating at the buffet. The a la carte restaurants are very fun, tasty and welcoming! - Activities were fun for my age group (~20) as there were parties and games every day. - Lots of fun drinks to try. - Staff were great, shoutout to Brandon, Kassandra, Regina, Erik and Nacho! Cons: - Not a great beach... always a red flag for cautious waves. Do NOT attend if you are looking to do beach activi [... read more]ties or run in and out of the water. - Rooms are humid so ask for a dehumidifier. - Pools had murky water, not sure about the level of chlorine in the water. - Disco at night on resort is hit or miss... they try to make you pay lots of money to attend Coco Bongo (did not attend) off resort. Overall: Had a pleasant week in Mexico with amazing food and fun. Disappointed with the beach scene so would not return for this reason.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: BEST VACATION OF MY LIFE

Everyone was very friendly, amazing service, good balance of family environment and partying, the food was beyond amazing! Even the buffet had high quality food. We had no complaints whatsoever. Seriously the best vacation I’ve ever been on. I’ve already recommended this resort to everyone that’s asked me about my vacation.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Fantastic Resort & Service!

Recently spent 6 days at Coba and couldn't say enough good things about it. The staff is unreal, and really go the extra mile to make your stay amazing. Everything is kept meticulous and clean and the amenities are more than enough - from the drinks to the food. A++++

Dreams Aventuras Riviera Maya: Very Nice and Clean Resort worth visiting

We took a last minute trip and this was a second choice given since the one that we wanted was no longer available, I was a bit skeptic about it but it turn out to be a great experience. The hotel is not huge which it is great for us, I hate the big hotels, the food was delicious and the drinks were also great. For some of the more picky drinker, you can dish out some money and get more choices, they have French, Spanish, Americans and German wines, the prices ranges. the place is kept in an immaculate state thanks to the army of personnel that are always cleaning the place, even after a shower, they come up and start cleaning just to start raining again, once it stops, out they go again cleaning the place, kudos for such a huge effort to keep the place spotless. The only drawback was all the weed that wash ashore, nothing that they have any saying about it since it was mother's nature but they had a lot of people and heavy machinery cleaning up the place, amazing that in the last day the beach was completely clean. I have nothing but a great experience, it was the first time that I have visited the DREAMS chain and probably now it will be the one that I will look for on my next trip, which they don't have in Ixtapa, which it's my next trip next month. My recommendation is that you should visit this place, it is worth it; kudos to all the personnel from all departments, entertainment, restaurants, cleaning, bars, all of them deserve a high five for such a great job.

Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya: Wow. Great resort, great people,great stay for our 30th wedding anniversary!

First, let's start by saying that this is our second smaller resort in the last 6 months( approx. 300 rooms). The attention for the guests here is second to none. clean grounds, great restaurants and the only thing to say for the service is fantastic! Besides the seaweed (and lots of it), the beach itself was great. The pool is in need of some TLC (missing tiles, better filtration system(top water skimmer). The entertainment team was amazing. Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Great resort!!

Hotel rooms were great! Very clean and well organized. Food was incredible and very well made. Loved the entertainment at night, in the pool and around the resort! Only issue we had was the seaweed that covered the beach but definitely not any fault of the resort! The entire place was incredible I will definitely be booking this again!

Wyndham Alltra Playa del Carmen: Excellent location in Playa del Carmen

Staff were friendly and helpful, food was great, location was perfect being only a block from 5th Avenue. We paid extra to upgrade our suite to partial oceanview which also came with a larger balcony that was covered. There was a lot of seaweed on the beach which we read before we left, but the pool area was great. Only complaint is that we got pressured to go to a sales presentation at The Royal where we were made very uncomfortable by the sales people trying to get us to buy into some vacat [... read more]ion plan through Hyatt. Avoid this at all costs, it isn't worth the time or few "perks" that they give you.

Riu Lupita: Great Resort!!

If you’re looking for a relaxing but yet exciting resort this is it. It’s every bit laid back but if you want games and entertainment....they have it! Rooms were always clean and any requests were quickly delt with. The beach is a 15min bus ride but it flies by and there’s a stop at la 5ta Avenida which is a nice change of scenery. So pool beach and shopping all close by! The bar is opened 24/7 and they are fast and efficient. Their margaritas, mango daiquiris and piña coladas are to die  [... read more]for!! Entertainment was so much fun and shows are well done and disco every night! Loved it! As for food, no complaints. There was always something for everyone and the Mexican food was delicious. My group of 7 had a splendid time!

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Awesome Resort!

The resort was amazing - from fantastic dining to non-stop entertainment and activities for the whole family. The staff was very friendly and helpful and made our stay that much more pleasant. There were 6 a la carte restaurants to choose from and only 1 that required reservations, and with that selection, plus a few buffet restaurants we never waited for a table for any meal. The 4 and 6 year old LOVED the waterpark and all the waterslides. My only (slight) complaint was the main pool was very crowded; but we spent most of our time at the smaller pools and enjoyed them thoroughly. The ocean was rocky, and there was quite a bit of seaweed, but we knew that in advance of our visit and spent more time at the pool than the beach, so we didn't have a problem with it. We would definitely visit this resort again.

Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Beautiful resort!

Food was incredible, the pool bar was super fun and the staff was amazing! Lots of wild life walking around which I thought was really cool, we got to see some monkeys and iguanas :) the beach was also very beautiful. My favourite part was the catamaran/snorkeling excursion! Would definitely recommend that. I would love to go back to this resort!

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Luxury Bahia Principe Sian Ka'an

My wife and I had an excellent anniversary at Sian Ka'an. While we are pretty young, yet parents to a toddler, staying at this resort but having access to the other three Bahia's on the property was perfect. We would drink during the day and hang out at the swim up bars at the other resorts and then come back to Sian Ka'an when we wanted peace and quiet! I would definitely go back and also will be suggesting this resort to friends of mine.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Great resort

Great resort, friendly staff and very good food. We loved the friendly staff from waiters, to drivers, to maintenance workers. Everyone was very helpful. We had a great week. We would love to come again.

Barcelo Maya Caribe: Barcelo Maya

Was very nice resort well kept. Very large in size and always had an open chair to sit near pool or beach. Liked the design of main lobby with mall and great style of sports bar. The night club on resort for adults was lots of fun and had good amount of people .

Dreams Jade Resort and Spa: Just a wonderful resort with the best staff and food!

Now Jade Riviera Cancun is one of my favourite all inclusive resort that we have ever stayed at. We had a little trouble booking in when we first got there, but ended well as they up graded us to a junior suite overlooking the ocean! The rooms are great and the variety of wonderful restaurants every night was such a treat. The staff were wonderful and so friendly.

El Dorado Seaside Palms: El Dorado Sensimar - very good resort

We enjoyed our stay greatly. The Sensimar is a traditional type resort, great staff, clean, good amenities. And having access to the sister resort, Seaside Suites balances out nicely as it is new and very modern - but also great service, food, also very clean. Entertainment options also good, restaurants very nice. We would definitely return.

Grand Sunset Princess: Grand Sunset Princess, resort was a little to big for myself much too big.

Grounds were impeccable and extremely clean. Room was always clean and in acceptable condition. Shower was extremely slippery, should have non-slip strips to prevent accidents/slips from happening (which happened to 2 guests during my stay. Pools were always very clean and looked after. Service at the bars and restaurant were very good. A little issue that I did not understand the Fondue/Seafood restaurant are one and the same, so I did not like the soup offered up on the Seafood menu and a [... read more]sked for the French Onion from the Fondue restaurant and they would not do it, completely didn't understand that one. Specialty restaurants were not what I had expected or what I am used, not a good selection of items.

Hotel Xcaret Mexico: Not a 5*, needs work

My husband and I visited the hotel last week to celebrate his 30th birthday and our 1st year wedding anniversary. We decided to book this resort based on my parents (they visited for the opening) and my sisters recommendations ( they visited on January with a group of 14). I email the resort a couple times asking to be upgraded to be put on Fuego if possible and to remind them of our celebrations (My travel agent requested the same). I got an email back from Aldo Chicon who advised they were awa [... read more]re of my celebrations and their file was noted and they were going to make sure it was acknowledge, he also advised they will check if I could upgrade to Fuego upon check in for an additional fee. Upon arrival we were created by a guy who was extremely rude, I asked about Fuego and he said there we no notes on the system and no space for upgrade. We were put in the Agua building which was nice and adult only area so we decided to leave it at that. We were extremely tired as our fly was delayed and were running on 18 hours of no sleep, I requested a map and he told me his co-worker will give it to me. I went to the co-worker and she told us to follow her and chat about the resort on the bar upstairs, she said it will take 90 mins. I requested the map as I had read here and on the fb group about the timeshare speech. I asked her for the map and declined to go for drinks with her and explained we were tired. She got upset and went to her co-worker complaining that we didn't want to sit, I am bilingual so I responded in Spanish and told her to give me the map, she was taken back that I overhear what she said. She said she will walk us to the room, I asked her questions on our walk and she ignored me. When we got to the room I asked for the map and she said I had to go back to the lobby and listen to her speech to get the map, I got upset and she gave me the map. Guess what, she was holding it on her hand!. The staff working on the pools, bars, parks, gardens and restaurants were incredible and we had a great time with them, they made our trip they go above and beyond to help you. The maid service was food too and our fridge was always stock. The food and facilities are amazing. Customer service on the front desk and buttler is very poor and it needs alot of work. I never hear from buttler unless I call and they also forgot to acknowledge my husband's birthday and anniversary. We kept getting harassed about the timeshare so we decided to do it so they leave us alone, in my opinion it is not worth it and I will never sign up for a timeshare package on which their customer service lacks so much. The beach was unusable due to seaweed not the hotels fault but nature. I bought the photo package and I haven't been able to download them. I will update my review if I get them. In conclusion I found alot of inconsistencies their website states that Agua building has access to the hydrotherapy circuit but the Spa and butler said it wasn't included after alot of back and forth they agreed to honour it unfortunately, it was on our last day so we only went once. My sister was going to get married here but she has changed her mind, we want her day to go smooth and this hotel is not there yet
