Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres: Great new Resort.

Stayed Feb 23 - March 4th 2026 Ocean Allure in Costa Mujeres is new facility approx. 1 hr drive from the Cancun airport. Typically with a few drop off's to other resorts along the way. Check in was 10: 30 pm. Since we were the only ones arriving at the time, it was quick and efficient. We were up graded to a swim up first floor room junior suit. Room was clean, well stocked with towels amenities etc. mini fridge stocked everyday...pools we large, clean and temp was ok. Beach was on red fla [... read more]g everyday except one, so was a bit wavey and there was plentiful seaweed in the water and on shore. The sand was clean with no shells or corral/stones as was the walk into ocean. There plentiful beach chairs at both the pools and ocean. lots of umbrellas at pools and palapas at the beach (could be more though as went quick ) beach was long and can walk for as long as you would want and was perfectly safe. there was always entertainment and activities at the two main pools. Bowling and pools tables were fun. we played pickleball on the three courts for the first time and had a lot of fun...there was tennis also available. Food: coffee shop amazing. Bar were plentiful throughout the resort and drinks were good. Morning and lunch buffets were available with food being plentiful and good variety . never had a problem fining something different of good. However at night there was only A la carte available . There was five restaurants (different themes) and only four were open each night as on a rotating days one would close each night. This did create some long waits and travellers getting very upset and angry over waits....it was not an ideal situation and a lot of talk about it during the trip. they missed the boat there defiantly. We did hear they were short staff so hopefully for the resort they open ng the buffet at dinner and alleviate a lot of pressure on the A la cartes. This was our only complaint we could find ....workers were very friendly and more than willing to help with any needs or just to talk. Bottom line..great new resort..dining needs some work

Allegro Cozumel: Nice resort

We enjoyed our stay here the ground's are beautiful the staff from the front desk were very friendly and helpful.The rooms are small but clean and beds are comfortable The food was good always something to eat. Breakfast and lunch were the best . Dinner time was abit of a hit and miss . But still ok if you got there early. Did not like the pool bar it's connected to the lunch area and service was very slow . The beach was also ok alot of coral all around in the sand but plenty of chairs and lots of shade if that is what you were looking for .The cleaning staff was great ! big shout out to all the ladies that work so hard to clean all the rooms.Too be honest the entire staff at this hotel are great! Happy friendly and helpful. Entertainment is good at the shows and the entertainment staff at the pool are a lot of fun . We definitely enjoyed our stay will we be back you never know but we do love Cozumel.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: This resort exceeded our expectations!

From the moment we arrived, we were taken care of. When I needed a playpen, they were so quick and brought it to our room. Room service even made the sheets in the playpen when they cleaned. The staff are some of the friendliest people I’ve met, and felt like friends/family when we left. The food is incredible, never tried the restaurants but also didn’t feel like we missed out. Barcelo Maya Palace: Beautiful Clean Resort

We really enjoyed our stay at Barcelo Maya Palace. We had a room on the 3rd floor near the back of the hotel in Michoacan Building. It was very quiet just noise from lots of lively birds. Which just added to the vacation vibe. I do wish the beds were more comfortable. I am picky though! They were better than other resorts I have stayed in.There is a stop at the back of this building for the double decker bus which is free and will take you around to the other Barcelo resorts. Staying at the  [... read more]Palace you can enjoy an a La Carte every night if you want to. You get to enjoy the other "inner four" resorts as well as their bars and restaurants. They are all similar in style Caribe, Tropical, Beach, Colonial. The Palace is a step up from them. I find it has a grander lobby/lobby bar as well as wider walkways in the room buildings. Service was amazing! Drinks were yummy. I was able to enjoy drinks I would make myself at home like a Camperi Spritz ... The breakfast buffet was the best. Lunch and Dinner buffet were very "resort feel" but we always found something to eat. We preferred the a la cartes. At the palace there is an adult only pool. I like things quiet and this was a great option. We rented a Cabana for the day for around $20 USD. The adults only pool has it's own bar and bathroom as well as loungers and water loungers. I'm generally a beach person I think this resort is great if you have both beach and pool people. You can have a lounger at the back of the huge pool and the beach is right on the other side of the walkway. There is also a sports pool if you want to do laps and a great kids pool. First time to Mexico and would definitely go back to this resort.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Needs Some Updating

I have stayed at this resort a number of years ago and it was fantastic. Sadly over the years there hasn't been alot of updating done. There are holes in the roof so of course when it rained the floor was wet. The buffet was good the first few days but the menu never changes so it gets harder and harder to eat there every day. They also dont have theme nights or anything special at the buffet. The room we had was excellent!! We had a 2 bedroom suite which included two bathrooms, two sundec [... read more]ks, two TV's etc. Very nice for a family that needed more room. The fridge did not work in the room nor did one of the TV's. When i let the staff know about it both things were fixed in a very short time. Staff were also very friendly and the pools were nice and clean. Entertainment was wonderful as well. Very poor directions of different activities going on at the resort. We missed a few things going on around the resort because we didn't know where to look to find them. The a la cartes were OK. Nothing special that we found which was also quite sad. I myself would not return to this resort in the near future. It is an hour and a half south of the airport which makes for a very long day once you get off the airplane. All in all a good time because we were in Mexico and the weather was fantastic!

Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya All Inclusive: Hilton Tulum,Mexico

The Resort was very well located in , Tulum. I arrived at Resort late at night so couldn't get a good scope of what the whole Resort looked like . In the morning looking out from balcony it was a very beautiful sight to behold . Staff at Resort were hospitable as well as welcoming. The grounds were very well maintained. Entertainment , activities and variety of places to eat morning, Afternoon & evening were great . Enjoyed the many sunrises & sunsets. Paradisus La Perla Adults Only Riviera Maya: Fabulous resort

The resort was beautiful and well maintained. We were in the adults only reserve swim up room and those extras were appreciated. We enjoyed the VIP pool and swim up bar as well as the elite restaurant. We did not spend much time at the beach as there was a seaweed issue but they were doing all they could to try to keep it under control.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Good Resort - Beach Lacking

Just returned from 11 days at Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda. Overall it is a good resort - family friendly. Pool was awesome although do prefer a pool that has a deep section as well. Staff friendly and provided great service. On the negative side, if you are used to the beaches in Cuba this one was horrible - full of sargassum which i understand is a problem right now so might improve. Stayed at the pool. Overall cleanliness was good except for the washroom near the pool - need more washrooms.  [... read more]Room was overall nice however the bathrooms need updating as it is impossible to just step into the tub to take a shower - need to sit and swing legs over. Some rooms had showers only so recommend booking one of those. Food was plentiful and good. I was surprised that there was not more variety of fruit. If you are on a budget, I would recommend this resort.

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Beautiful Resort

We had a wonderful stay at Barcelo Maya Colonial. Rooms were very comfortable. The balcony was lovely. We made coffee each morning in the room which was quite good. The food in the buffet and À la carte all great. Our favourites were Kyoto and Palmeras. Service was amazing in all areas! We were able to find beach chairs each day at any time in front of Captain Morgan restaurant. The beach wasn’t great for swimming right there but you could walk about 30 seconds towards the AO to swim in th [... read more]e ocean or to the pool right beside the restaurant. We crossed the road to Chikin Ha & enjoyed the beautiful cenotes there. Miniput golf also fun and free during the day. There’s so many things to do at this resort. Our week was full of adventures! Highly recommend the Barcelo Maya Colonial.

Playa Mazatlan: Absolutely fantastic

Great location! Everybody was so nice And will definetly be coming back asap! Close to everything you could ever need within blocks. The taxis and tours were affordable and the live music was amazing.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Great resort

I liked almost everything about the resort except the booking system for reserving restaurants. I think people shouldn’t be allowed to book more than 3 restaurants per week before they arrive at the resort. This system would be more equitable. As it is now people who arrive to the resort for the first time aren’t aware of the booking system before they arrive and then have a difficult time getting any reservations for dinner. They might get a chance for a reservation if someone cancels at 5pm.  [... read more] Your system is unacceptable and it could prevent us from returning to this beautiful resort.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Very poor

Hotel was not luxury, food mediocre, couldn’t get a reservation at al a carte restaurants. Beaches horrible and not pretty. Dump trucks and digger noise all day cleaning up dead seaweed. Not awesome

Paradisus Playa del Carmen: Have stayed in better

Beautiful resort! Food was mediocre. Did not appreciate having to pay extra for the good food. Wasn’t this supposed to be all inclusive resort? Inconsistent service in restaurants. Royal Hideaway next year, more expensive but far better food and a better beach.

Grand Park Royal Puerto Vallarta: Classic Puerto Vallarta

The hotel has lovely rooms with stunning views, and fabulous common areas on the main floor and pool levels. The buffet dining rooms were well appointed with a good selection of food from Mexico and theme nights throughout the week. The coffee shop/ice cream bar was appreciated as well. The grounds of the hotel are very limited, with no real space to walk outdoors, as the hotel is built into the escarpment with very little space for gardens and walkways. The beach is beautiful but small and wa [... read more]s too rough to use most of the week we were there. Definitely not suitable for small children. Luckily a children’s pool with slides and water play was situated in a courtyard on the second level. The two main pools are situated in such a way that they were in full shade until afternoon, which was disappointing for the sun seekers in our group. And on a logistics note, the location of this hotel is about an hour’s drive from the airport, taking a little longer with drop offs from the shuttle along the way. At the end of our week, we had the shuttle to ourselves and it took 45-50 minutes. In the descriptions we read before travelling the time from the airport was listed as 30 minutes or less.

Iberostar Selection Riviera Cancun: Amazing Resort

We had an amazing 10 day stay. We have no complaints at all. Our daily room service was amazing. Always lots of towels; sheets were changed daily. The food was great…lots of choices. There were never any shortages. The pool area was clean and appealing. There was no seaweed on the beach during our stay (Feb 23 to March 5). We would certainly return.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Awesome All Around!

Great staff, food and amenities. Great choices at the buffet daily, sit down restaurants were good as well. Room was clean and comfortable, all of the staff were super friendly. Would go back again!

Las Palmas by the Sea: Wonderful staff

We spent 2 weeks at Las Palmas by the Sea at the end of February. The resort is very well situated with an expansive beach frontage in comparison to other options in the hotel zone. I would recommend the oceanview upgrade as the building is so close to the ocean - offering a spectacular view. Resort staff are the best! Guadalupe and Edgar are wonderful in the morning and around the adult and beach area. Pedro and Daniel make the restaurant extra special and David runs a great evening bar. Thomas [... read more] and Martin help with concierge and ensure you are comfortable traveling around the city. All staff are friendly everywhere on resort. These are the ones we remember the most. Being perfectly honest, the rooms are underwhelming at best. This is not a new resort, the beds are new and everything is very clean. The buffet is small compared to others we have experienced but there is always something good to eat. It’s clear the owners treat their staff well. They enjoy their jobs and engage so well with each other and their guests. We were on resort during the security incident in Puerto Vallarta. The team rallied and secured us and made us feel very safe. They should all be commended for their professionalism and dedication (most worked double shifts and many slept on resort). Las Palmas is a casual, fun, and quaint option if you’d like to stay in PV and venture out to enjoy all the city has to offer. We felt safe continuing around the city within 2 days of the incident. All locals want you to feel safe and welcome.

Royalton Splash Riviera Cancun: Great Family Resort

We went as a group of 8 adults and 5 children (ages 8, 10, 11, and 14). This is a great resort for families, but the adults also had a great time taking in the entertainment in the evenings and enjoying to the pool bar. This is a lively, family oriented resort. Buffet and al la carte restaurants were good. The kids loved ordering room service! The only thing we missed was more of a lively beach atmosphere.

Occidental Cozumel: Amazing hotel

Very well kept inside and outside. Beautiful landscaping. I would like see better food labelling as I have a severe shellfish allergy . I recommend having a separate grill for cooking non fish items as cross contamination can be lethal for those with allergies.
