Hotel Los Cactus: Still as good as it was,maybe better.

The resort and people are very nice. Good selection and variety of food. Good value. Very little to no wait times at bar. Buffet is a nice open air concept with roof. Specialty dinners are better then before.

Hotel Bella Costa: Amazing resort but a bit worn out!

Our room was not really prepared when we came, there was a leak from AC, balcony door didn't lock, bath wasn't clean, there was a third bed in the room, next day though they removed all the problems so we could enjoy our stay...

Royalton Negril Resort And Spa: Grand Lido Negril

We returned to this resort for the last week they were open, we had made many friends. Our two real reasons for choosing this resort were because of the adult only policy and their outstanding staff. Jewel Runaway Bay Resort: Fantastic Overall Experience

I travelled with my husband and another couple to the Jewel Runaway Bay, Jamaica on Apr. 13 - 27th, 2015. Our two weeks stay was wonderful. This was our first time to Jamaica and our friends it was their third. We flew with Sunwing, all went well, we were even 20 min. early arriving at Sangsters Intl. Airport. The trip on the bus was comfortable, they had refreshments for us to purchase. We got to the resort, and were checked in within 10 min. We checked out the resort prior to our rooms being r [... read more]eady. But in no time we got into building #1. We had a room facing the service area, but it didn't bother us. It was clean and comfortable we were fine. A few days later our friends were having some issues and the hotel moved us to building #2 facing the pool. These rooms were comparable with cleanliness and comfort. We had only a few mosquitos and they didn't bother us. Everything was within a very close proximity so there really wasn't a lot of walking to do. The beach was excellent. The fish came up to you as you were swimming. The small reef was there, but in order to go outside of the buoy markers you would have to go down the beach on either direction and enter that way. If you are within the buoy markers then you are the responsiblity of the lifeguards. The food was very good whether it was at the buffet or at an al carte. The pizza, soft ice cream, mashed potatoes, wraps all the comfort foods from home were just as good if not better. (ice cream seemed to be a big hit with our groups praises :) The staff were very friendly, went out of their way to help you even to remind you of putting lots of sun lotion on. We did a few excursions and we have to say the Blue Hole in Ocho Rios was top knotch. Highly recommend you contact Marvin Gayle to arrange something. He got us to the right Blue Hole and his driver Delton was superb! Great job. We did the catamaran, snorkel & Dunns River Falls. We also did a trip to Negril which is 2 1/2 hrs. drive. We did 7 Mile Beach & Rick's Cafe. Watching the cliff divers was amazing. We didn't see a sunset as it rained and was cloudy. We would go to the Jewel again.

Hotel Los Cactus: First trip

My experience was mixed. Although the beach and resort itself was beautiful the room left little to be desired. It was moldy and smelled like dirty feet. Also the food at the resort was not the best. I had heard before hand that Cuban food was a lot different from ours. I just did not expect it to be that different.

Hotel Bella Costa: Low end, in need of repairs and upgrades,very poor

Entire hotel in a sad state, needs upgrades and repairs in all areas. Quality of food very poor. Service was not particularly efficient, nor prompt. Dead plants hanging off walls, water dripping from ceilings.

Memories Jibacoa: Beautiful Resort

Was worried that since it changed hands from Breezes to Memories it wouldn't be as good, but was pleasantly surprised! Lots of upgrades going on, food was good & entertainment good as well (other than the "never-ending Memories" theme song!). The picturesque location is one of the nicest I've been to. I would highly recommend this resort!

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Resort grows on you!

Just got back last night from a 7 night stay at this resort and thought what great little resort! Food was good, beach was great, drinks plentiful, staff friendly, loved the town of Willemstad. The only slight complaint is the hotel is in need of some tlc. The rooms in the Royal Tower have been updated somewhat compared to the other blocks in the resort. All in all, great little resort for the price.

Hotel Los Cactus: Excellent Overall Experience

We stayed at Breezes, Varadero, from April 5-12, 2015. We had a gorgeous oceanview suite with spectacular views. We loved the beautiful and very swimmable beach. The food was great with lots of variety. The staff were so polite and all round amazing. Loved how close Varadero was to resort. We felt very safe throughout our stay. The nighttime entertainment was the best we've seen. All in all a very great experience and although we don't tend to repeat vacation destinations, this one might break o [... read more]ur rule. 21st visit back here! Had a wonderful 2 week stay! The staff here are so happy, gracious and kind! They go out of their way to make a person feel at home!! Memories Jibacoa: Location between Havana and Veradero, big rooms,

small resort, big rooms, nice resort, clean, entertainment is pretty good, I have stayed at the resort 8 times from the year it was build, overall the food was better in my first visits than it is now.

Memories Jibacoa: Friendly resort but needs upgrading

We stayed at Memories Jibacoa on April 4-April 11. Once we arrived, we noticed how beautiful the location is, it's literally in the mountains which you see from the pool each day. The staff is very friendly, and helpful. The rooms are kept very clean, and the gardens and grounds are well maintained and beautiful. The resort appears to be a tired 3-star, not a 4 star. Things that need upgrading are: The gym (needs air conditioning and an expansion), the buffet is not as healthy and extensive as o [... read more]ther resorts, although I found food to eat, my belly got upset there and it did not return to normal for two weeks later. I wondered if filtered water is being used to rinse the vegetables. The a'la cartes are just adequate, with the exception of the Italian restaurant, which was excellent. The chairs on the beach are quite uncomfortable, and could use upgrading. The ladies on the front desk did not always speak English, but they were very nice and friendly. We noticed some upgrading and building going on, but it did not interfere with our stay, and was kept very quiet. The entertainment was almost always very well done, and enjoyable, however, the Piano Bar was a dissapointment, we thought there would be a piano player there all evening, and it would be more interactive and animated by staff for sing songs. It would be great if they could improve this, maybe it needs to be re-located so people find it easier. Our Sunwing Representtaive was very helpful and friendly, and worked hard to made sure we were satisfied. She did everything she said she would do, and we really appreciated this support when we were there. In a few years, we would consider returning to this resort, once they have done some upgrading.

Beach and ocean are great. Resort is dated. Food is fine at buffet. Very good for families with young children.Stayed in a Supersaver Suite.Bed was terrible.Not one good nights sleep.Would not return.

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Relaxing Resort

We loved the food, the atmosphere, the beautiful sunsets and the great beach. it's very safe island, Sunscape is great for couples, families and singles. I really can't say enough about the food! Also the entertainment was wonderful especially the evening of the parade.

My husband and I love Super Breezes! The staff are amazing and so friendly. The food and entertainment were great. We had the pleasure of meeting one of the entertainers John Mcdermott, who told us of all the resorts he has stayed at Breezes Veradero was the best for it's surrondings, cleanliness, friendly staff a very secure place.Love the oceanview suite, but to the west of us......pounding music that never seemed to stop. Hotel Los Cactus: Great small and friendly resort!

The resort itself has some cosmetic issues but overall I found it to be a great resort. It is small and not very busy which I really enjoyed! It was never a problem to find somewhere to lay in the sun or shade.

Hotel Bella Costa: Good Location, great beaches

Hotel was worn. Great location, great beaches, kept clean. Entertainment was fun. Really annoyed that had to check out of room at 12.00,when we were there until 7.30 pm There was a fee, but did not use the room the previous week, as we did not arrive until 10.30 pm

This was our first experience in Cuba. And based on what I had heard it pretty much met my expectations. As most say about Cuba the food is not great. We did not find any food that we really enjoyed. Eating was mostly out of necessity. The air conditioner on our room did not work very well and we found it difficult to sleep. It was also very humid and as a result very musty smelling. I don't think they swept the floor once. The service in the rest of the resort was about the same. Most of the bartenders and waitstaff seemed annoyed/standoffish/rude. Sometimes ignoring you all together while they carry on conversations amongst themselves. The waitstaff in the A La Carts however were for the most part pleasant. The beach was incredible! The nicest we've seen (been to Jamaica, DR, and Mexico). The grounds were also alway nicely kept. Over all it was nice to get away and see some sun and sand after the long winter here in NB. However the food and poor service were a deal breaker. Will not be returning.

Sunscape Curacao Resort: FANTASTIC BEACH

This is an older hotel and the rooms are tired although the beds were comfortable and water was hot. The buffet was average and the specialty restaurants were good to very good. Great coffee bar. The overall service was average. The beach however was fantastic with snorkeling, paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming, and sun worshipping. Clean/safe beach. Beautiful sunsets.

Sunscape Curacao Resort: Great Resort!

if ever considering to travel to Curacao then this resort is one not to pass up! The staff are friendly and service is spot on. A smaller resort that is easy to get around with beautiful clean grounds and easy access to the beach where you can swim and snorkel safely with the man made break wall and reef in front. Food is very good and there is nothing like eating on the beach any night in any of the restaurants!
