Awesome Resort!! Friendly Staff!!

This resort is simply beautiful! From the 2KM long pool, to the white sand beaches, this resort is sure to not disappoint. The staff treat you like royalty your entire stay, and there is no shortage of activities to take part in.

Amazing Resort

This was the best resort!! The rooms, the food, the beach, everything was amazing, had no complaints. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. Only complaint would be the washrooms outside where the pool area was located was very dirty, not clean at all, it was more like a 2star resort than a 4.5 resort.

Very good.

my complained was were not allowed to stay in the room till 4 :00 P.M. Only people who stayed 6 years in the resort. the previous years we were allowed to stay till 4:00 P.M. so were very upset about it. Planning not to go back next year.

Great resort

We were at this hotel last week of November. Weather was not good first two days but after that is was great. Very nice rooms, if you do not like it you can always ask to change it. Food was awesome as well as the beach. My boys had so much fun and my husband and I had time for us too. All the stuff at PP is very nice and always with a big smile on their face, ready to help with anything that you need. I have only good stuff to say about this resort. We are hoping to go back in April.

A beautiful place for fun and relaxation!

The resort is great. Food more than ample. Special restaurants were super. the drivers of the runabouts were ever so helpful due to my having to walk with a cane. Everyone was very courteous . Bar service was exemplary. They didn't tell us that they were under new management and that the rules had changed regarding the little extra time in the room when you were leaving. Disappointed.

Amazing stay

A beautiful resort with well kept grounds and exceptional great service. The people in Cuba are just special and despite the political system and their standard of living, they are always friendly and make you feel welcome and special. We won the trip by participating the Trip Trivia with Tripcentral and wouldn't have chosen this place by ourselves, but with that great experience we would go back there any time.

This resort was one of the best places I've been to Cuba so far. Not super-luxury but everything you'd expected: clean, well maintained facilities, variety of foods, drinks, good entertainment. The beach and the ocean were superb; I didn't use the pool area but in passing it looked clean, nice, lots of people enjoying it. There were a variety of dining places, bars, stores. The staff is polite, helpful and skilled. As points to improve would be more choice of fresh fruits; the fountains at the l [... read more]obby area would be spectacular if they were working. All in all I recommend this place full-heartily.

Great trip

After a late arrival (midnight) the check in process was quick and easy but it was too dark and too big of a resort to find our room, instead we found a golf cart trolley who delivered us and our luggage . Room was clean and spacious. We headed over to the Beer Garden for some food and enjoyed Cuban meatballs (my 11 year olds fave) and fries and drinks. The next day we explored more thoroughly. Everyone at this resort was friendly and Alex at the kids club was so fun for the Tweens. Food was good (for Cuba) and I like that they cook your meat as you ask rather than leave it lying around. Great weather, great people, great trip!

Amazing Resort

Beautiful grounds. Outstanding pool. Beach was great. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Rooms were a little tired looking and could use some updating, but overall a fantastic vacation. We would love to come back.

Great people & nice beach!!

Hotel was clean spacious beach was very nice sand / water no fleas food was disappointing but no surprise pizza at beach was fantastic allot of families and seniors beverages were tasty great beer + excellent mojitos

Not bad

Food was OK. Staff were friendly. The beach was wonderful, but there is no shower at the beach. The entertainment really sucks and wasting time. They use just gusts to entertain people other than spend money to hire professional.

Best Resort I have ever been to in Cuba

Amazing food and great service, friendly and helpful staff. My favorite restaurant was the Romantic. The beaches was nice and the pool was huge. The rooms were spacious,very clean and always well stocked. Can't wait to go back.

Playa pesquero

have been to 4 different resorts in Cuba ,this was our second stay there ,we will go back,for the money we spent well worth it,all around the best of all that we have been at,would recomend it to freinds

Lovely Resort

Beautiful landscaping, interesting design and metal pieces Beach needs new or repaired sun shelters (palapas) Appreciated the frequency of shuttle transportation We felt the staff needed more opportunities to cope with the heat and sun eg. available drinking water, sun shade, seating when standing for long periods of time

Terrific!

Attended resort for a destination wedding. When first arrived greeted with champagne, however, non wedding guests helped themselves. Shame on you. Grounds were well groomed. Room - grand & spotless. Food a bit of a culture shock but made to order and a la cartes were excellent. Coffee, lobby & pool bars - a real treat. Came home with a great tan and well relaxed. Get lots of pesos for tips.

Wouldn't call it amazing but pleasant experience

The checking in process was painful. Arrived with horrible Sunwing airlines at 10:30 and got to the rooms after midnight. Too slow...btw the returne flight with Sunwing was delayed five hours without any announcement from their representative. Suggest take one day off after your returning date home. Just in case you are not stressed out about work. The hotel is nothing special and the buildings are somewhat distant from the beach and reastorants. I would not suggest this setting for anyone with  [... read more]bad knees or who cannot walk long distance. August is not the best month to look at the ground as it is burned down. I believe everything looks beautiful from November to May :) Food was very good for Cuba. There was something good and tasty for everybody. I was disappointed with the quality of cappuccino as I had had better experience as I am a passionate espresso consumer. The best feature of this hotel is THE BEACH. Talking about the clear water and the beach every day since I came back. Would like to be there NOW. The service in this hotel is mostly great. Love Fernando in Romantico and William at the beach restaurant. William is a great manager and accommodated every request of my family. The people in this resort make your vacation unforgettable. And... YES I DID GIVE TIPS ALL THE TIME. We do the same in Canada daily

Very good resort

Grounds were very neat and clean, public area were nice, rooms clean and very good cleaning service, would like to see more dining areas available.Staff was very friendly and helpful. Lounge and lobby ares is great.

Fabulous Vacation!

The resort was amazing, the weather was perfect and the people were great. We had no problems with the food as there was plenty to choose from and the food was very good. The rooms were clean and fresh and the bar fridge restocked every day. Couldn't have asked for better weather...almost a little too hot for our standards. Pools were clean with lots of lounge chairs and the swim up bar was a popular place to hang out. The beach was also very clean with lots of toys and marine life. Incredible resort!!!

I spent a week there with my wife and 2 kids (6 and 16 months) Everyone is super friendly the resort is extremely clean and so are the rooms. The food was outstanding there is a selection to please everyone. A la carte's were ok we actually preferred the buffet there was always something different to choose from. The staff is always willing to help they speak English very well. I would go back there again no questions asked. Be prepared there is a lot of walking to do the resort is HUGE.
