Riu Cancun: fantastic overall resort!

Great location, 20mins from airport, 15 floors, 3 mins walk to pool and beach from lobby. Very clean, well maintained, all rooms are great and all face the ocean. Every buffet and other specialty restaurants had great delicious food choices. The Beach was like powdered sugar, Crystal clear waters and no seaweed or bugs. Some cons are the beach is full sun, no shade until 3pm or so when the sun goes behind the hotel. The gym is really small and not many choices for weights, but we managed. 1 [... read more]0 mins walk to the ferry if you wish to go to Isla Mujeres, bus stops are really close and there are many markets for shopping. Lastly there is a free shuttle to another RIU 10 mins away (or walk the beach for an hour) for great parties. Loved the resort! Will definitely return with more friends.....

Riu Cancun: Almost perfect!

The RIU Cancun met all our expectations. Perfect location about 20 min from the airport. Small but pristine beach with perfect sand and water (no seaweed or rocks). Hotel atmosphere was bang on. Staff incredible and very helpful, we needed blankets and an AC fix and both were immediate. Food was so good with amazing buffet options and the drinks were perfect. Hotel Dos Playas Faranda: Very decent place!

Location is great, beach is pretty good. Rooms are OK - very clean. Staff is mostly super friendly, especially cleaners. Special thanks to the chef from Sushi restaurant - cool guy, the lady from reception is also so nice! Food: depends on a day. Some days they had pretty decent food, especially fruits and vegetables. Some days food was not fresh. Recommend to take some plates with you (I did luckily lol) as their plates are reusable and are not cleaned very well. And they have sushi too (though not super fresh).

Catalonia Grand Costa Mujeres: Amazing experience!

This resort exceeded my expectations! Resort is very new and I love the decors. There are many food choices and all the food tasted amazing! Best food I had on any resorts. Beach and ocean is nice but could use more shade. Overall fantastic resort and definitely recommend this to anyone.

Seadust Cancun Beach Resort: Amazing Family Resort

We really liked the beach and restaurant inside the resort. Also the staff was very friendly. Bathrooms can be improved. Pools are great as well. Tye buffet breakfast was good. But the best restaurant was Big Ben. Didn't like the Manhattan thay much

Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres: Amazing Resort

The resort was a 5 star resort in all categories the food the beach the pools restaurants and especially the staff! Will definitely recommend to all our friends and family and we will be back! Thank you for an amazing week

The Pyramid Cancun: Overall okay

Resort is very big, depends on what you’re looking for. Good food recommend Japanese food Sakura. nice beach but wavy this time of the year. Clean and fun for you partying and family. I’d give it a 3.5 overall. Service at the restaurants and bars is good however front desk not very helpful and most of the time don’t know the answer to any questions had to figure things out in our own in such a big resort took us almost the whole trip to get used to the resort and know different events. In the be [... read more]ginning pushy with time share selling. Air Canada rep never showed up and waited 2 hours at airport to be picked up and dropped off at the resort. Was promised a king bed but they never had that note and was given double bed. Lots of people had issues with rooms they chose and paid for but never gotten such as ocean view. I stayed as a Sir kaan which I recommend more options for restaurant. When we went they have many renovations and didn’t have shows, a little at boring at night time but lively during the day. I recommend walking out of the resort and checking out the lagoon for extra activities that are fun and affordable

Occidental Tucancun: Nice resort in general, but...

a good resort overall, but at first we were put in a terrible room with a door to the terrace that didn’t close. When I tried to close the door, there was a gap through which the wind blew strongly, making a very loud sound, interfering with sleep, in addition, the linen in our room was not fresh, and my wife noticed someone else’s hair on the pillows. We asked for the bed linen to be changed, which was done immediately. Also, in the room where we were placed, the view of the sea was minimal. [... read more] The next day we asked to be moved. We were given a room on the third floor instead of the second. The new room fully met our expectations. Overall we liked the hotel, the area is cleaned every evening and morning. Various competitions and events are held throughout the day. We went to the evening show on February 14th, it was very impressive. With the exception of some nuances, my wife and I liked everything.

Grand Park Royal Cancun: Beautiful resort but would not go back

The beach was amazing, the rooms really nice! Food was good... not great. Pools were freezing cold. You can't get chairs on the beach unless you wake up at 6am and go down to put your towels on them. The a la cart restaurants we okay but we couldn't get to them cause they were booked. We booked 2 and they told us to come back and book again in a couple of days. So the restaurants could not accommodate everyone.

Sun Palace Hotel: First Class

This resort pays so much to every detail to give you the most amazing experience. Staff is so attentive and friendly we had the best stay. The resort and grounds were always immaculate. I would definely go back.

Krystal Grand Cancun: Be aware!

Dining – line up for every meal to report room number etc. to get access one-by-one. Same menu every day for Breakfast/lunch/dinner. Bars – Lobby bar opens at 1:00 pm and Beach bar opens at 11:00 am. Until 11am can not get even non alcoholic drink juice or else Ala carte restaurant – needs to be booked daily only for same day. Booking opens at 9:00am. I tried 6 days in a row, could not get it done even one time. Room – very small room, with no sofa, table etc. Only one (1)! The Sens Cancun: Not the best

Not my favourite resort or experience. Shuttle pickup from Cancun airport took close to an hour to leave. Check in was fine, hotel rooms shabby and bathroom could use maintenance. Concierge staff were friendly enough, most of the other staff were pleasant. Beach dirty, not often cleaned up from the day before. Other guests would leave cups and plates and they wouldn't be cleaned up. Not enough beach chairs; it was a race everyday to get anything decent. Food at restaurants good; Le Petit Chef a fun experience. Also did the Captain Hook pirate show which was really fun. Unfortunately, I wouldn't return to this resort nor recommend it.

Riu Caribe Cancun: Amazing resort

My group had a great time at Riu Caribe! The grounds were great, no complaints on the food and given the size of the resort, everything felt like a stone's throw away. There are 4 foam parties a week, so if you like dancing and having a good time, this is the place for you! The Riu does a great job separating kids areas from adult zones, so everyone can have a great time without any conflict. Villas HM Paraiso Del Mar: Lovely resort, great staff!

Our week long stay was so well managed by the hotel staff. They're kind, on point, understanding and we're always present. They were attentive to the beach, welcoming at all meals, and kept our suite immaculate every day. Great location -- nice walks into town, and gorgeous walks to the sandbar and shallow beaches. They helped us organize outings and had plenty of great recommendations to enjoy Holbox.

Catalonia Grand Costa Mujeres: Outstanding Resort

This is a top notch hotel. I would recommend anyone visiting Cancun to reserve in Catalonia Grand Cost. The room service, the food, the reception, the housekeeping, the bell boys are all amazing and you have lots of restaurants that can match your taste and so many activities during the day and night.

The Pyramid Cancun: Terrible Resort

When we arrived we were told to just go up an elevator to our room. No help or guidance what so ever! Our room was dirty, the sheets were dirty, there was no where to put our clothes, no room service, no reaching front desk, at 9:30 in the morning they told us they were out of food at the vip restaurant! We were so unhappy that we went to another hotel! Would never go back there again! Terrible customer service!

Sunscape Cancun Resort and Spa: Wonderful place!

Had a great time at this resort. The room was clean and the staff was very courteous. Always greeted us with a smile and were professional in their conduct. They have a good choice of restaurants and the food was amazing. A very family friendly resort. Would highly recommend if you are traveling with kids.

Planet Hollywood Adult Scene Cancun by Royalton: Just Amazing .... Wow

Where to start,,, This Resort was way better than I expected!! We Book in the Adult scene with the package Star class with a swimup room ... Nooo regret at all !! Starting from the check In to the Checkout!! Amazing service in every corner of the resort .. Buffet was super good and lots of option & A la carte was exelent!! Our biggest fear when we booked at first was the beach but Wowww .. Grand Oasis Cancun: Great time

Rooms: They were a bit outdated, Ac and water worked well. Walls are thin and can hear everything around you. Rooms were cleaned daily (when they came early and you say not now, they would come back later) and fridge restocked daily with water, soda and beer. Grounds: the grounds were well kept. The pools were clean and always people out sweeping and cleaning up. The resort is very large so there is a fair bit of walking and takes a bit of time to know your way around. The App definitely hel [... read more]ped on the first day. Food and Drinks: The food was ok and drinks were not strong. But if you drink enough it won’t matter. The last bar on resort closes at midnight so if you want to party beyond 12, you will need to go to town or buy alcohol to have in your room.

Hotel Dos Playas Faranda: A Great Location

We were apprehensive but after arriving we were pleasantly suprised with this resort. Small and packed with amazing entertainment, five restaurants that were all good (sushi bar, pizza bar, a la carte, buffet and the hamburger, hot dog bar) open hours coincide with most tours. I don’t drink so can’t speak of the bars but there was three of them. beach was great. you won’t be disappointed.
