Hotel Castillo Huatulco: A great to stay especially if you love seafood!

This is a great hotel! The staff is very friendly, the grounds are beautiful, the hotel is very clean, but there was too much seafood and the water pressure was lacking. I would suggest more of a variety of other Mexican food for dinner; breakfast and lunch were awesome!

Hotel Castillo Huatulco: Great location, staff and pools

The food was very tasty with Mexican flair. The hotel was clean, and Mexican decor. The staff was outstanding. Freddie made us feel welcome and we received great service. The pool clean at both locations and lovely beach resort. Location wonderful. Central. Very clean in surrounding area. WiFi did not work in 214 but it did for the kids in 210. WiFi worked by pool and lobby. We had a great week and will return.

Las Brisas Huatulco: Family trip

It was really nice place to stay for the whole family. Nice place, nice resort nice, and everything was okay for the money that we spent the only little problem is that they speak only little of English.

Secrets Huatulco: Breath Taking

This was our first trip and we couldn't have expected more. The resort, the beach, the hospitality of Mexico was all just perfect. We did a couple of tours of Huatulco which were well worth the experience to get a true feel of Mexico.

Las Brisas Huatulco: best snorkelling

I was very happy that we chose this resort over others in the area as the beach area was sheltered from the waves, lots of palapas and shade, better snorkelling right there than on snorkelling tour. Service was great, very quick and everywhere. Grounds were very hilly, might be challenging for people with mobility issues, but the little shuttles to take you to your room were plentiful. 5 a la carte restaurants to choose from. lots of activities scheduled.

Hotel Castillo Huatulco: Great resort

We really enjoyed our trip to Huatulco, it's a great place, just need to be a better variety at dinner time as fish is ok but not all in one dinner or 5 of 7 days; also if you decided to stay at the hotel during snack tíme they need better service and friendly people as we got a waitress (I believed her name was Maria) that wasn't nice to any Spanish speaking person and since I speak the language she wasn't nice, other than her everyone was friendly and very helpful!

Barcelo Huatulco: Loud

We loved the room,always clean Thought the bottle of Champagne was a great touch. Great view, Food was really good. Staff was great. Pool was always really busy and loud. Could have used more staff in lobby bar in the evening.

Barcelo Huatulco: Second Time Even Better!

Hotel was very nice, food was excellent. All staff were always smiling and worked very hard to please. House keeping staff kept the room very clean and came in at night and turned down our sheets and left chocolates on our beds. Nice touch!

Binniguenda Huatulco: Enjoyable at a reasonable price with reservations

The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The food was okay but lacked choice and was the weak part of the experience. We had expected to have a king size bed, however, upon arrival we had a room with two double beds. We immediately requested a room with a king size bed and it took three nights to get transferred to a room with a king size bed, which was much better. The beds were very comfortable. The WiFi is very unreliable as sometimes it works good and at other times it is unavailable.  [... read more]Overall a relaxing location where you met guests multiple times as this hotel is small compared to other larger all inclusive hotels.

La Isla Huatulco: fare to good . good price to value ratio

nice rooms the only thing hotel really lacks is fridges in rooms and ice machine in hotel Nice pool , good service at front desk . For price very good deal . our room included 2 meals per day . Breakfast was good but small menu and same for diner menu .

La Isla Huatulco: No surprises here!

Rooms were exactly as described and were cleaned thoroughly daily. The were sparsely furnished with one chair and a desk/table ours had two comfy beds and one night table. No English Tv channels thank god I got internet in my room 118. There are no refrigerator in room and only place to get ice is the pool bar. We had the two meal plan. Breakfast was good except bacon is not real bacon, that fake chicken stuff. But the fresh squeezed orange juice and the friendly serving staff made up for that.  [... read more] The lUnch or dinner package we bought through Air Canada was provided at the beach club and was very limited in selection. Many things on the regular menu are not available on the meal plan menu. One each of either appetizer or entree or dessert maximum two and a selection of one beverage per person that could be beer. We got what we paid for and it was mediocre to say the least. Would opt for it next time there are lots of great restaurants in the area. Beach club had a nice pool and lots of lounge chairs but the red flag was posted and most days was very windy. We did take a taxi to Le Entrega one day and swimming there was great earlier I the day. In the afternoon it got windy there also. I would stay here again but was really irked there was no refrigerator. All staff are very friendly from the shuttle drivers, to the front desk staff, cleaners and wait staff. We would stay here again if the price was right. Lots of Canadians from all across Canada. Elevators provided a real plus is you can change Canadian dollars at front desk or at the bank for. A better rate!

Las Brisas Huatulco: Beautiful location!

Loved that this was a spread out resort that meant you could do a lot of walking. Between all the food and drink it was nice to be able to walk to buffets and beaches and rooms. (There are cart shuttles for those not interested in walking.). Resort is in enclosed bay so safe for swimming and snorkelling and no people anywhere who aren't staying at the resort. Staff were exceptional, if not very fluent in English. would definitely go again.

Las Brisas Huatulco: Great Resort

We were at this resort Jan 29 to Feb 6 2016 Very good food. Excellent staff service - very friendly and accommodating. Clean rooms and nice bathroom. Although all the resort rooms are on a hill with many steps and walk-ways, they run "golf carts" that can take you anywhere on the resort and they come within minutes when called. If you have trouble walking, this may not be a suitable resort . Great snorkelling off the beach with-in the safe swimming area.

Las Brisas Huatulco: Very nice resort!

This was a very nice resort. However there were steps everywhere as it is built on a hillside. You could call a cart to take you from place to place. But you still had to do some steps. From our room it was about 30 steps up to get to the roadway. Overall a very nice place.

Las Brisas Huatulco: Las Brisas Hotel, Hualtuco Mexico

This hotel is lovely in a simple way. I suggest making good use of the cart service which will take you to your room or lobby. Walking to the beach or restaurant is walking downhill which is easy but walking up to your room is a real work out. The beach is awesome and if you are early to clam your spot you can be sure to have a great spot. The water was warm and you can snorkel right off the beach. The day trips we took were to a Coffee Plantation, Copilita, the City Tour. I recommend the Coffee Tour on a Monday as you also stop in a city and go through the most amazing market but do pack Gravol as the road is very windy and wear go walking shoes. If you do Copilita I hope your get PEPE as your tour guide he is awesome. The city tour is not worth your money. Make sure you go to Crucsita and Santa Cruz it is a short 40 Peso trip and there are to weaving shops that are a great find to bring gifts home for your self or others.

Villablanca Huatulco: Wonderful holiday

Wonderful hotel in the best location. Terrific breakfasts of real mexican food. Beds were comfy and the hotel has a charming Mexican decor that did not have that chain hotel feel at all. Taxis waiting to take you anywhere right outside the hotel or it was easy walking to either town or the beach club.

Binniguenda Huatulco: Lovely place to stay

Small, quiet hotel with very friendly staff. Nice pool area and beach access. Delicious food at the buffet. Would be happy to return. Evening shows. Staff very helpful and able to speak English. Perfect location.

Dreams Huatulco: Excellent resort.

The service food and accommodations are very superior. The employees went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Everything was so clean. Drinks and food were very good and lots of choices everyday.

La Isla Huatulco: It's a 2 star, almost a 3

We just needed a bed as we were visiting my parents. I wouldn't stay here on a full vacation, but it met our needs for a week Limited tv stations maybe 6, wifi can be fast and slow depends on time of day Large rooms are clean but very minimalist as described in previous, bed is amazingly comfortable. Balconies are a good size with 2 chairs provided to overlook the pool Pillows super small they only provide 2 on a king size and don't have extras. No bath mats and a face cloth is hit or miss, had  [... read more]to call to the front desk 3x in 1 week to get towels sent up, no hair dryer. There are no glasses in the room but ask at the snack bar, no ice anywhere other than the snack bar and even then a hassle. Elevators are nice and fast and stairs easily found and accessible, large closest with ample shelves beside it. Safe can fit your iPad and is secure. Pool needs to bed retiled as it's missing quite a few tiles, quite a large area for smaller children, poolside chairs are comfortable. We need the air conditioning and safe fixed when we first checked in, was done incredibly fast with a nice young man. All staff was friendly and helpful This hotel is a ways out but could walk to 3 restaurants at the marina (15min walk)otherwise you'll need to taxi everywhere $25 pesos to most areas Never used the beach club but looks nice, the ocean is always strong there with red flags Go in to Santa Cruz or cab to Playa Entraga (good snorkelling and restaurants on the beach) which is just around the corner from Santa Cruz
