This place has large as it is. The staff kept this place spotless. Service is top notch you will not be disappointed a great place to relax and enjoy the restful surroundings. You have everything from great beach to great shops

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great resort but too big.

This hotel is lovely. Very clean. It is the size of a small town. You have to travel by golf carts to your destination. Food is excellent. Service is slow sometimes but that's probably due to the large amount of guests. The grounds are always clean and the rooms are large and comfortable. I would t go back due to the size of this resort.

The Eurostars Grand Cayacoa: Wonderful Resort

Beautiful resort on the top of a cliff. Scenic views from everywhere. Food was great with lots of variety. Beach small but very clean. Rooms average but very clean. Not great for children or the elderly. Many stairs.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Bahia principe

The hotel itself is very clean and beautiful. The people were so friendly and helpful. The tile around the pool was very slippery. There needs to be more bathrooms near the beach . The food I found to be just okay . There was a lot of fried food and very repetitive . The entertainment was pretty lame. The music was not very current and everything ended at 1030pm

This is our first time in the Dominican Republic This hotel is truly first class (5 star) We have been to many all inclusive hotels that where beautiful But this hotel is spectacular Beautiful beach(no seaweed), restaurants first class. Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Absolutely stunning!!

Food and drinks were amazing. Very friendly staff and easy to navigate around the resort. Entertainment is top notch as well the beach. Second visit to this resort and would go again very soon. Kerol and Adain at the pool bar are awesome guys.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Amazing resort and staff

Traveled as a couple (30m, 30f) for 1 week. First time at an all-inclusive resort together. Beautiful place with so much variety and things to do. Staff very friendly and helpful. The beach was amazing, we spent most of our time by the volleyball court. Pools and grounds were beautiful and well manicured. Bars and bartenders were great. Buffet was great (especially Sian Kaan). My one critique is that is was difficult to get a reso at the ala carte restaurants at a reasonable time (ie before 9pm) [... read more], despite the restaurants having plenty of open spaces once we arrived (they still made us wait until our reservation). Other than that, it is an amazing place. Entertainment staff were awesome, so friendly and easy going. Will definitely be returning!

Cayo Levantado Resort: A well maintained island resort

The friendliness of the staff, the amazing location & the amply stocked buffet made this one of the best All Inclusive Resorts that we have had the pleasure to stay at. A very relaxing atmosphere which is just what we came for.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Just so so for Jamaica

This was my third trip to Jamaica and my least satisfied experience. The food was good. The drinks: they never had tequila or vodka and when they did have Gin they had no mix only orange Fanta, the wine was not drinkable and I never asked for Rye or Whisky since I figured they had none. It was very much like the 3 1/2 star I was at last year in Cuba. However, in Cuba, you get great service. No service at this hotel. Every employee I encountered seemed to despise travellers as well as their job. [... read more] There is no activities other than one spot at the pool where there is a very uninterested MC barely asking people to join. The night life is non-existent. The shows seemed like they were preformed by a high school group. So we only went three nights and were disappointed those three nights. We booked at this resort because of a wedding. The wedding ceremony was nice but there were three weddings happening at the same time in the same restaurant. So you could hear everyone's speeches. It was odd and uncomfortable. There is a lot of segregation at the Grand Bahia Principe. Depending on how much you spent or which side you were on - luxury, adult or where I was - I am guessing the general pop - you got the service and experience you paid for. You can't go on the luxury side and there are segregated areas everywhere for the luxury people. Yuk. They get the best of everything while the rest have to beg for a working toilet. I ended up changing rooms twice because of a broken toilet and on another occasion because there was already someone in the room they gave me. Needless to say, it was very disappointing.

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Amazing resort very large

Grounds, pool, location, rooms, food were great. If you want to be near a pool and only a 7 minute walk in one direction to ocean, or other direction for 7 minute walk get block 31. It is right in middle of the Bavaro section

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Beautiful resort; our room experience not good

I wish I could provide a better review but we paid for the luxury Bahia Principe, adults-only side of the hotel and were assigned rooms in the family area. The room itself had some problems - the sink was blocked and there was leakage around the toilet. In addition there was no soap, face cloths or hand towels available. During the first few days we dropped by several times to the Luxury Bahia Lounge and employees there noted our complaints and one even mentioned to us that they would move us to [... read more] the Luxury side but that never happened. I also called the Concierage by telephone about sending us the missing bathroom items but to no avail. It was not until day 4 when we ran into the resort's Executive Assistant Manager at an Air Canada welcome tour reception and listed our issues with her that any action was taken to address the toilet leak and sink problems. I am very grateful to her and she was a bonafide professional and the company should be very proud to have her represent them.

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Huge resort with many amenities

The huge resort grounds are very lush and well maintained. There are 5 Bahia Principe hotels within the complex. BEACH: The beach loungers were packed even though I was there in the off-season, but I could still find seats. The sand condition was great. Staff was continuously cleaning the beach by raking seaweed. GETTING AROUND: There is a convenient and frequent trolley transit system that takes you to all areas of the resort. Walking is also easy. SPORTS ACTIVITIES: The free sports activities  [... read more]are minimal. I only tried the limited 45 minute bicycle ride in the morning and mini-put golf. The boogie boards were only good for an hour. The snorkeling equipment for an hour is useless because it's only good for the shoreline which had too many waves. There was no bow at the archery. The bumper car area was extremely small and only had a few working cars. EVENING ENTERTAINMENT: Good entertainment, but the shows do not repeat on the same night. So if you miss a show, hopefully they'll have it on a separate night. I think the entertainers travel from resort to resort. DINING: I tried the Santa Fe, Japanese and Caribbean buffet a la carte restaurants, which were all fair at best. The general buffets are just as good or better with a very large selection of international cuisine. ACCOMMODATIONS: My room was is good condition, but the bathtub and roof above was worn out and needed some extensive repairs (Room 79103). CHILDREN: The resort was very accommodating and friendly to children of all ages. My child was only 11 months old and he had a great time. However, I had to request a crib several times, but it did come with extra padding and sheets.

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: The best resort we've stayed at by far.

This resort had great staff very acomedating, always Curtious. It's clean and easy to get around. The food was amazing lots of variety to meet everyone's needs. Also lets not forget the beach it also great, it's like your on a private beach. There were times that got busy but for the most part quite and relaxing. Overall amazing resort.

The Eurostars Grand Cayacoa: Amazing resort and beautiful location

I had a wonderful time at Grand Bahia Príncipe Cayacoa. The scenery was absolutely stunning and they had a variety of excursions available. The food was delicious and the service was absolutely fantastic. I would recommend it to anyone.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Amazing resort!

The property is gorgeous! The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very nice and clean. The water is somewhat rockie, however, the beach is perfect. Richardo was the one who took care of us when we first arrived and set up all of our dinner reservations. He went out of his way toke sure we were able to go to the restaurants of our choice.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Lovely resort

The rooms were very modern and clean and the food was delicious. The beach wasn't great and too crowded. That is the only negative. The service was really good. I would definitely return to this location.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: So much more than expected

Check in a breeze, nice large room,really comfortable beds,large clean bathrooms with makeup mirror hair dryer basket full of essentials and full size towels. Nice added touch, white bathrobes slippers,bowl full of fresh fruit yummy. Our fridge was always refilled daily with beer ,pop,water bottles and to our surprise small bags of potato chips and small chocolate bars nice touch. First time in Mexico and would definitely return and recommend this resort. Two thumbs up. Bahia Principe Escape Samana: A must visit resort

This resort was simply amazing from the views of the ocean to the gourmet food choices an very attentive staff for all your needs . The animation staff was great from running games during the day to night time shows to the bar staff that seem to have everything you could possible want . If you are thinking of coming to this area this resort is a must from leasure relaxing on the beach to excursions that wow was simply or best expereince so far .

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Beautiful Resort!

The Ambar was a very beautiful resort. We thoroughly enjoyed the many restaurants with great dinners to offer. The staff was friendly! The beach was beautiful and kept as clean as nature would allow. One issue was being offered an opportunity by some agent to take part in a what seemed like a timeshare offer for travel. The persons offering this option wasted two hours of our day. They were pushy about you having a credit card and signing for this outrageous sales pitch. When asked if we could h [... read more]ave some more information on this so called Privilege time sharing. Three people said no there was nothing, yet they wanted you to sign and pay for something with no fine print to see just word of mouth. They send a Privilege letter to your room stating you won a gift or could qualify for a week vacation. Avoid this!!! Overall The Ambar and surrounding resorts were very fun and gorgeous! Highly recommend a vacation here. Awesome!

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Wonderful Experience

Stayed from Nov 19 to 26/15 and had a wonderful time. The staff was amazing expecially the entertainment staff (Luis & Alex) who made our stay most enjoyable. The food was very good in the buffet as well as the a la carte restaurants. Everything was very convenient for access to the pool and the beach area. The Esmerelda allows children and therefore occasionally noise in the hotel hallways and rooms was a bit of an issue, but not enough to put us off. We enjoyed their enthusiasm.
