Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: Family fun!
We loved the resort. A little bigger and busier than the last time we were there but still a fantastic experience from the staff and the snorkeling. We only wished there was less public smoking. The food was great and service was above and beyond other trips south. The staff : Wilbur, Mario, German, Liliana, Marcelo, Yeni, Noemi, Clemente, Marbella, Jose, Ariana, Paulina, Arrieta, Oscar, Arial, Karina, Oliver, Cornilo, Abraham, Manuel, Alejonra, Cristian, Yaneli, Patricia, and Amilcar, were all [... read more]
Hotel Xcaret Mexico: Best vacation EVER!!
The service was exceptional! Staff always ready to serve with a big smile on their faces! A special thank you to Daniella at the Viento building! She was the best! Beach chairs were always in excess, never once did we have to get up early to reserve. Parks were very good and we had lots of fun at all of them. My only complaint is that we are not there now:(
Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Amazing vacation!
This resort is absolutely fantastic! The grounds are kept so clean and maintained. Food and service was fantastic and the adults only infinity pool is the cherry on the cake! Rooms are a little outdated but they are kept clean and mini fridge always restocked. 24 hour room service is a must try! 5 stars! Thank you trip central
Ocean Riviera Paradise: Better than I had expected!
From the moment we arrived at Ocean Riviera Paradise, everything was perfect. One of our two rooms was ready early so we did not have to wait to change clothes or anything. The staff were awesome and always happy to see us. Booking excursions was so easy and they always had great deals. By day 4 or 5 my group had a chat about what we did or didnt like about the resort. We decided that we wouldn't change a thing. Despite the few negative reviews, we weren't approached even once about timeshares o [... read more]
Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Great Resort and Vacation
The rooms were really nice and clean and the beds were comfy. The food was really good. The resort itself is massive and kudos to the shuttle drivers who do their best to get guests to a from where they need to be. Service is really good at the buffets. A la carte restaurants were good with special mention for the French restaurant which was excellent.
Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Great experience
Heaven on earth, we enjoyed our stay very much, really a 5 star resort and the service was unforgettable.some restaurants weren’t as tasty but the presentation was gorgeous.the beach was very well maintained.
Barcelo Maya Beach Resort: Barcelo - really good!
Almost everything about this trip was perfect. The staff was all outstanding and all very friendly. The food at the buffet and the al a cart restaurants were really good - not out of this world good, but very good. The beach is outstanding! lots of seating and lots of sunny and shady spots too. The only complaint has we had was headphones were stolen from our hotel room. I didn't follow up on this with staff as I knew what the answer would be. Make sure you use the safe. Our room [... read more]
Grand Oasis Riviera: I’ve been worse..
If you have kids and want to be in bed by 9pm, it’s perfect. There was no music except at one location and it was awful hipster electronica. There was not a lobby bar, in fact there were no bars... well one, it was a swim up bar and it closed at 5pm. Staff were ok.. like not mean but certainly not friendly. I don’t ever complain and I’m not even complaint now, I just want people to have visibility to what it really is. Rooms were clean and nice, the atmosphere just wasn’t for our family.
The Sian Ka'an at Grand Tulum: Great Service and Beautiful Resort
The Sian Ka’an Grand Tulum is an absolutely stunning resort. The grounds are well manicured and it feels like you’re nestled in a forest of palm trees. The staff were accommodating and very polite. Views of the turquoise water are fantastic from the white sandy beach. Rooms are well set up and kept clean. Not a very large resort, and definitely a calm atmosphere. Only disappointment was the food unless it was seafood. There are a number of restaurants with decent menus, but only one was [... read more]
Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Disappointed
We stayed at the Hideaway from April 26 to May 3 of this year. There was some good and some bad during our stay. Our room which was located on third floor which was ok, the smell of the room was very musty. Resort could have provided something to remove musty smell. We never got to use our balcony due to construction right next to our building. Was very noisy at times from construction inside hotel and outside. The beach was very disappointing on the last days, was full of seaweed. Couldn [... read more]
Barcelo Maya Colonial: Amazing!
Everything about this resort was amazing! From the moment we got off the bus, we were treated like we were the only ones there. We were catered to for every request! The pools and beach were clean. The rooms were in really great shape. The food was excellent.
Grand Riviera Princess: Nice Resort
The resort itself was beautiful and very clean. It was a massive place, in some parts it was really quiet and dead which depending on what you like could be good or bad. Didn’t really have that Mexican feel that I like. The staff were very nice and helpful, we had a few minor issues with our room and they were quick to fix it. The food wasn’t horrible but wasn’t great. We stayed in the family club with a swim up room. It was nice and convenient for the kids but was really quiet [... read more]

Platinum Yucatan Princess: Excellent Resort!!
Well I'm not one to usually write reviews but all I can say is Amazing!!! Our stay at the resort was nothing less than perfect, the room was amazing the staff was very friendly, helpful and entertaining. The food was excellent we did not try all the restaurants due to the ones we did go too were so good we went again. The pools were great and very well kept "never clouded by sunscreen ". I would have to say the only downside was the beach only due to the amount of seaweed " not from lack of the [... read more]
Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Best resort ever.
Iberostar always does things right, from the food to the grounds and the entertainment. This resort is great and you have the ability to use 2 of the connected iberostar resorts as well. Iberostar always seems to deliver the best bang for your buck. We will be going backs soon and hopefully bringing many other friends with us.
Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Loved it!
Had a great vaca last week at the Grand Sirenis! Perfect weather, amazing food at the buffet and a la carte restaurants as well, wonderful service and clean resort. This resort is quite spread out but didn't hurt to walk a bit and shuttle service was available as well. My 7 yr.old granddaughter found lots to do at the kids club. Only down side was the beach, not as sandy as some in this area, but we knew going in that it was in a cove of coral rock, which was better for snorkelling! Lots o [... read more]
Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Amazing resort :)
Our trip to hotel Sian Kaan was incredible. The hotel is amazing to stay in, Coba, Tulum and Akumal do not compare. Being on Sian Kaan (which they cannot enter) and then being on their grounds helped us compare the quality of the two. The experience at Sian Kaan is 5 star. It's private, service is amazing, quality of amenities is immaculate. It was a secret getaway away from the beaches and away from the busy, chaotic and "all over the place" other hotels. Those hotels were not adult only - whic [... read more]
Grand Oasis Riviera: Family Friendly Resort
Rooms were very clean and maintained daily. The pool for the kids was great for our 1 year old and our 3 year old. They had activities for the kids daily and shows every evening. The food was amazing. Very tasty and lots to go around. They seemed to be slightly understaffed but all the staff were very friendly and willing to help at any time. The showers were steaming hot but still hot enough. The beach had a lot of seaweed when we went but the hotel tried their very best to maintain it. Ov [... read more]
Desire Riviera Maya Pearl Resort: Viva Catalonia Yucatan!
I went to this resort solely for R & R and it did not disappoint. We were in a group of 4 and 2 of us upgraded to Privilege and 2 didn't. This way we all had access to the "privilege" beach & bar. If you are a poolside person then the upgrade for an extra $185 each probably isn't worth it. The beach is lovely white sand and you can snorkel and swim in the clear Caribbean sea right in front of the resort. There are quite a few interesting fish but if you want to swim with the turtles go to Akuma [... read more]
Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Fantastic resort
