Dhawa Cayo Santa Maria: Dhawa Cayo Santa Maria

We enjoyed our stay in Dhawa Cayo Santa Maria very much; white sand beach with crystal clear water, ocean view rooms and good foods and service. The night entertainments were mostly a very loud disco in the lobby which was annoying to us most of the time.

Iberostar Selection Holguin: Good new resort.

The rooms were perfect with air condition, the service was really good, the food was ok, the territory is well maintained. There weren't many black flies, otherwise the spray worked well. We all liked it except the beaches are not safe as there are a lot of local people coming. They stole our sandals and it was hell to stay on vacation with just sneakers. Melia Peninsula Varadero: Melia Peninsula Varadero Cuba

I found the hotel very well equipped and comfortable. The air-conditioning did not work Power went out every day at least three to four times per day The food was good, and the hotel staff are doing a very good job post covid with cleaning and at the buffet.

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Amazing Beach

Good size rooms with a very good air conditioning system. Food was OK. People amazing. Fantastic massages at the SPA. Good entertainment and plenty of things to do. I just wish for more selections at the buffet.

Gran Muthu Imperial: Very bad experience

The resort is acceptable, the room was full of bugs, we did NOT eat for 7 days straight, 1 restaurant open only full of bugs and flies, you can not open eat from the food disgusting, they were using the same plastic cups at the bars.... Never again

Melia Internacional: We had a perfect time!

The hotel, room and staff was amazing! The food was not bad at all as people say it would be. We actually did not mind it at all. There is something for everyone, plenty of options and cooked and tasted very good. Please try to keep in mind the country is having a very hard time especially after the pandemic and supplies coming in. Try to be a bit more understanding and patient. Iberostar Coral Holguin: Large resort

Stayed on the coral level side of the resort. Rooms were nice and always kept very clean. Towels were exchanged everyday. Pool on this area was clean and quiet with chairs always available. Butler service was amazing. Laritza and Junior went above and beyond for us and even arranged a special dinner for our honeymoon. Beach areas were nice. The only downside were the shortage of food and alcohol available. Not much vegetables or fruit available and no pop for mixed drinks. We did eat lobster all week at no extra cost. Quiet and relaxing in the coral level with only adults. Massages were excellent and very inexpensive. If you want to relax then this is the resort to visit. Definitely want to visit again so hoping that the shortage of food and alcohol improves.

Grand Aston Cayo Las Brujas: Beautiful !!

We were there in August and it was so good to be back at this hotel and Cuba’s amazing beach. Transfers to and from the hotel were great. Very quick check in and check out at front Desk. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The staff at the buffet very friendly, but I think they should do something about the flies around the food, it’s very bad. We just ate things that were cooked in front of us to make sure that it was safe to eat, we didn’t want to get sick, but there was always food [... read more] to eat, you don’t go hungry. Beach was wonderful and beautiful. This second time at this hotel, we upgraded to the adults only fare and we were so glad, we got our own adult only pool, bar and snack bar, it was worth the money. We will be going back next year.

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: 7-day Stay

My review of this resort: Wifi is only in the lobby and no other part of the resort. Not many places are air-conditioned, the rooms are your best bet if you want to escape the heat. The grounds are well kept and the beach is amazing. The best thing about this resort is the beach. Careful of sand flies at the beach though, my partner and I were bit all over our legs and arms. The bites were extremely itchy and uncomfortable afterwards. Bring insect repellent to be safe. There are not many acti [... read more]vities to do on the resort apart the shows which are mediocre at best. The buffet is okay but wish there was more variety. In all honesty, I would not come back to this resort.

Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: Great beach escape

Tammy selected this hotel for me as I said I wanted somewhere with a great beach. I was not disappointed. The beach was beautiful, well maintained. The room was spacious. The gym was not busy, and had a good selection of equipment present. The staff at the resort were fantastic, always greeting you with a smile, and very keen to help. I travelled solo, and felt safe the whole time I was there. I would come back to this resort.

We spent our 7 days at the Iberostar Selection Playa Pilar and were pleased with the overall infrastructure and service of the resort. All the staff are exceptionally friendly, helpful, and hard working. We were very grateful for every measure of due diligence in attending to our inquiries, requests, and sincere efforts in accommodating our concerns. It would be helpful to carry these items for your comfort: - toilet tissue (runs out during the course of the day in the main lobby areas) - paper towel/dinner napkins (if you consume/rely on a lot of serviettes while dining) - wipes (baby wipes, or sanitizing wipes) - condiments of your preference - water/thermos bottles - snacks that will fit in your luggage (especially if you have children) & cup noodles (wish I did this!) - first aid kit & medications, extra hygienic items, etc. The resort itself is a great size. You don't feel crowded or lost by the layout of the whole place. We had a large room with 3 beds and it was comfortable. Bring a comfy light sheet. The beach is beautiful! A lot of fish underneath the staircase leading down into the water. IT IS NOT A STRETCH OF SAND FYI. It would help to bring water shoes so you don't get cut by the beautiful corals. The food is fair. I stuck to a lot of grilled pork chop, and grilled tilapia with rice, squash, and avocado; fruits: I had a lot of guava, and mango/guava juice to drink. Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo: Great resort

Grand muthu is a beautiful resort beautiful beach and lovely staff. There was enough food and drinks room was cleaned everyday. Staff always made sure we were taken care of. One thing i would cgane is adding more entertainment and the birds in the snack bar

Gran Muthu Imperial: Not the best experience!

The overall experience was below poor. We usually make the best of our Cuba vacations, however this was the most challenging time we’ve ever had. We don’t go to Cuba for the food, but to have to eat all meals at the snack bar, with close to no food, flies and birds landing on your food, food was always cold, it’s not acceptable and I’m pretty sure it does not meet any health requirements. The rooms are nicely done as the resort is newer. We would not return to this resort and definitely would not recommend to any of my family and friends.

Iberostar Origin Playa Pilar: Another fun, sunny Cuba vacation

Beach, pool, bars are great. Food is regular Cuba resort minus the free lobster. My other 7 Cuba resorts have at least 2 lobster dinner. It seems there was no attempt to control bugs such as the many flies in the buffet area and sand fleas which are hard to detect. The resort is subpar for an Iberostar. there was a lack of maintenance such as sliding doors which do not lock, safe with no battery, the toilet design (brand) is bad, and maintenance of the toilet is badly needed. In the bus: everything went smoothly, we arrived in the hotel; we met by the receptionist, he gave us the room No. 1112, I asked him if we can see the room first before chick-In he told me the room O.K but we don’t have another to change it. We took our dinner hoping we see a good service in the restaurant tomorrow. Trace of Spider in the room (1112): I tried to call the reception many times, but nobody answers, we slept this night anyway, there is no hot water to wash ourselves. Friday 26/08/2022 No hot water to take shower, we tried to wash our faces, to go on to the restaurant taking the breakfast, it seems very poor service, we went around 08:00 o’clock, it seems a shortage of food!!! We went back to the reception telling them - the room smell bad because it’s near of the stook rooms of the housekeeping department, and a lot of strange Insects - and we want to change the room. He answered me we can’t change the room now; we will change it after 16:00, I asked him about his name he answer ‘Roger’, I asked Mr. Roger is there any manager or Supervisor to speak with, He entered the back office, and came back with a charmed person called Mr. Miguel (Michael) in English, and he told me to pack my Luggage’s to move from the room to another (2827) , Somebody from bellman helps us to move over there, then we decide to go to the beach, but there is no beach’s towels, it solved. In our way to the beach its smell very bad, we found a Rotten Canal, and I asked the guard about and he told me what it means it likes a (protected reserve) But it’s smell very bad. We continue to spend one hour on the beach, and back to change and take shower to go to take lunch at the restaurant. A water cut-off when we get back from the restaurant. Saturday 27/08/2022 Early morning coffee at 06:30 waiting for breakfast 07:40, back to the room, it’s very hot, preparing to go to the beach around 10:00, same dirty Canal, we passe it to the beach, I went swimming when coming back I swallowed water the people grabbed me to the shore, I vomited a lot, they send me to the hotel’s clinic for treatment with Dr. Ricardo, after two hours we (my wife and me) went back to the room, a lot of bad things happened today the water cut off also, I’m almost dying to today, I can’t go to eat I asked them to bring some food they brought it badly things after 2 hours 45 minutes. This hotel worth two stars maybe a motel!!! Sunday 28/08/2022 Playa Costa Verde, badly managed, Reception: they give the room’s keys for whole the stay and give the internet code for 5 hours you have to go back to renewing the 5 hours, I asked them: why you didn’t give the internet code as the room key’s they didn’t want answer!!! About the restaurant: it’s badly managed also, after one hour there’s a shortage of food, they should know how many guests they going to serve and put the food on course like not one shot but three times to serve all the people. And lately the water-cutting problem it’s very bad!!! Monday 29/08/2022 Always the water cutting off, and the electricity also. I found Insects in the bathroom Treatment at 09:00 with Antibiotic Injection. Tuesday 30/08/2022 A little of anything better than nothing: breakfast, and to the Clinic to take the Antibiotic Injection for treatment. I went to the restaurant at 14:12 to take lunch, but nothing to eat; I went public relation, it seems nobody care. You have obliged to take from what’s leftover or You have nothing to eat!!! When we went back to the room, we found an invitation from the Hotel direction for supper at 06:00 PM, Wednesday 31/08/2022, to honor the Canadian community in the Italian restaurant. Wednesday 31/08/2022 Early morning coffee in the lobby at 06:15 until breakfast time 07:30 after going to the Clinic to take the last antibiotic treatment, and back to the room. At 09:00 went to see the Doctor and take last date treatment. Back to the room, around 13:15 we went to take lunch it seems that there a shoring of food, the food not enough!!! At 18:00 We went to the Italian restaurant, I felt that the hotel’s direction feels guilty for us, for that reason they invite us to forget the bad things, but we don’t!!! Thursday 01/09/2022 It’s our leaving day we wished to close our eyes finding ourselves home to Canada. Coffee in the lobby at 06:30 my wife came, went to the restaurant for breakfast, around 07:45, back to the room to prepare our luggage’s around 12:45 the bus came to pick us to the airport. All the staying there is no hot water at all. Conclusion: I need my money back $1516.00 + $200.00 = $1716.00 , Bad Trip, Bad organized, and bad Hotel.

Iberostar Origin Bella Vista Varadero: The worse resort

This has been the worse resort in my entire life. My family and I couldn’t stand how bad it was that we have to pay extra to our airline agent and go to another hotel. Please don’t go there. They need to close this hotel, make renovation, improve the gastronomy, train the stuff and improve their salaries so they can give a good service. I never complain and I am very tolerant but this was the worse experience ever.

Iberostar Coral Holguin: the best resert in Cuba!!!!!

Paradisus Rio De Oro: The best staff and service ever!!

Absolutely breath taking beaches, the staff are truly amazing! We stayed on the Royal service side and it was everything we could have hoped for! Cubans are so friendly, we felt safe and the hotel was super clean.

Melia Varadero: Excellent Resort

All facilities was excellent. The beach is beautiful. The service was friendly and magnificent. The activities are really nice for the family member. The resort and the room always clean and fresh. Definitely amazing Resort

Melia Costa Rey: Average resort

There was no water one full day, just an average hotel. Not worth the money. I wouldn’t recommend. Food was just average. Will try another hotel if we decide another trip. Luckily only 3 days we spent.
