Royalton CHIC Punta Cana: Beautiful

This is a lovely resort ! The room was also nice but really didn’t like the bathroom there was no privacy at all and the tiny room the toilet was in way to small. The food presentation was fantastic but wasn’t crazy about all the food. The middle eastern was my favourite and the service was great but in saying that the service was not consistent I sometimes we felt well honestly I could understand why the staff were not friendly all the time and some were friendly to others but not to every [... read more]one right in front of you so you felt like what did I do wrong always smiled and said thank you very much and tip. There was a girl at the beach and I wish I could remember her name she was fantastic she would be a wonderful example for others. Also some of the bartenders were great and some were not. The entertainment was fantastic and we had so much fun watching all the performers. In the bathrooms around the resort not all the sinks worked none of the hand dryers worked and one day there would be paper to dry your hands and the next not. Overall it was really good.

Royalton Bavaro Resort and Spa: Spectacular resort

The moment we walked in we were in love it was absolutely stunning clean and such friendly staff. The food and unlimited booze you can't go wrong first time at an all inclusive will be for sure thinking about it again... Rooms were cleaned twice a day and room service was quick highly recommend Royalton barvao to anyone

It is quite a large and lovely resort with three different pools, easy access to the beach. The negatives would be the mini-bar was never refilled and the music at the bars at time was too loud.Sunny

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Incredible Vacation

Just returned from the Bahia Ambar resort, and the vacation couldn't have been better ! Jean, our butler, took care of us like we were his family. He handled our requests very professionally, and his outstanding personality made us feel incredibly good. All the staff there were happy and attentive, with a special thanks to Maura at the pool restaurant. She always went the extra mile to make sure we were well fed and watered, cappuccino coffees after lunch, wine, water, whatever we needed she wa [... read more]s right there. Also, the Limbo Restaurant had the most amazing food, presentation and flavors were over the top. I have no complaints, but will mention that the bathrooms are open concept, which is a little different when travelling with my 2 sisters.. We will be back soon !

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Never Disappointed

My Husband and I have been to this resort numerous times and are never disappointed. The resort and beach are beautiful and well maintained. The food is delicious with so much variety, I can’t imagine how they do it. The staff are hard working , friendly and so much fun. This resort is AMAZING

Royalton Bavaro Resort and Spa: Family friendly resort

Great hotel and amenities but didn’t realize how kid friendly this resort was. For couple without kids it was a bit much at times but beautiful resort and fairly large resort. We prefer more smaller ones

Barcelo Bavaro Palace: Wonderful Vacation

We had a great vacation staying at the Barcelo Bavaro Palace in Punta Cana from Jan 11-18. The golf was amazing, the food was fantastic, the entertainment was decent and the rooms and property were gorgeous. Lots of things to do at this resort and would highly recommend this resort for couples or families.

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Great Family Resort, Awesome for Weddings

The hotel is spotless clean, public bathrooms have cloth towels as well as nicely perfumed toilet paper, always clean. The food - great variety of food in the main buffet, freshly made juices - your choice of fruits; crepes station; meats station, pizza station, eggs station, amazing bakery station, etc, etc, etc. You will Never go hungry!!! Food is really delicious in each and every restaurant! The pool is sparking clean! The beach is clean with beautiful sand. The ladies at the Coco Cafe are WONDERFUL!!! They have an awesome selection of cold and hot coffee drinks, Coffee is BETTER than STARBUCKS! The kids club - clean, friendly, lots of toys, excellent location, amazing ship with water pool for kids. Highly recommend this place for families! THANK YOU TO ALL THE STAFF FOR A GREAT SERVICE!

Ocean El Faro: First of Many Visits to Ocean El Faro

After visiting the sister hotel Ocean Blue and Sand 20 times, we decided to try the new Ocean El Faro. Upon arrival, we were amazed by the very large and elegant lobby. After registration we were escorted to our room and our luggage was brought shortly after. Each building has two elevators which is a big "plus" for us as our room was on the third floor. There was a staircase inside our room which led to an upper level with a second washroom with a huge walk in shower with a rain shower head [... read more]. From this level a door led to a private, finished rooftop area with a large jacuzzi hot tub, chaise lounges and a sofa and tables. We also had a jacuzzi tub in the lower washroom. There is plenty of closet space and drawers for storage. Our room had a large balcony overlooking the lazy river which was a lot of fun for all ages because of the waterfalls, overhead buckets that tip, etc. The room was well equipped with everything needed and our refrigerator was replenished daily. The hotel pictures look like there is a lot of concrete, but there are still lots of palm trees, flowering bushes and greenery. The food at all the restaurants we visited was excellent and because we like to eat at 6:00 p.m. they were never busy and the service was great. We will be back!!!

Casa Marina Reef Resort: Meh

Hotel is nice, grounds are nice. The ocean and Jacuzzi's were closed for first 4 days due to rain and wind. It is a private beach set in some beautiful coral so the waves were hitting hard. The staff was mostly friendly, the game organizers by the pool were awesome, enthusiastic and fun! The food was good, I only tried Mexican and Italian restaurants and buffet, the only other restaurant is Seafood - it was a line up to book the restaurants, but no issues like not available. Breakfast buffe [... read more]t only had bacon on 2 days for about 1/2 hour. Yogurt for 1 day but I did see some people asking and servers bringing from the kitchen upon request. The BOOs; Only one key card per room, we were told to come check "the next day" every day with no success in getting another, which sucked when we split up. Could not get a pool towel for the first 3 days due to availability and we were only able to exchange once in the next 4 days. We complained up front and the kid at the desk actually told us to fuck off ... so that was amazing. :( There are 3 bars total, none at the pool which sucked. 2 beach bars opened at 10am, one closed at 6 the furthest one away closed at 11. The restaurant/disco bar did not serve until after dinner (Mexican Restaurant) and closed at 1 or 2am. At ALL BARS, there was only 2 servers - there was ALWAYS a line and a wait 5 mins. up to 10 mins. for drinks. It seemed only one was serving while the other was cleaning up or prepping. I couldn't imagine how the servers felt. One said this was the only resort they'd ever worked at with such horrible service. My Service Star Rating is based more on time....

Riu Republica: So Much Fun

My husband and I were in need of a re-set and we certainly got it here. What an amazing week!! The hotel room was perfect, the grounds beautiful and the entertainment lively. We spent every day relaxing by the pool, walking on the beach and enjoying the grounds. The food was delicious, we ate at the steakhouse and Italian but found the buffet was the best!! Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Mixed Review

Food was the best I had at any resort but otherwise I wouldn't say this is a 5 star - pictures on walls were warped, pool was dirty, only so many drinks available at the pool, had to pay for top shelf alcohol, entertainment at night was poor and during the day by the pool, lack of attention to detail like paint on walkways splashed, ripped chairs by the pool and beach, water stains and rips on the tents. And not all the A La Carte's were adults only. Speaking of A la cartes, I wasn't aware you had to book those 2 weeks in advance of coming as we barely got to go to any as all the time slots were booked when we got there, good thing there was a supper buffet. But when we did go the restaurants were practically empty so I am confused as to how all the restaurants were booked solid. Guest services did come around and ask us how our stay was which was nice, he listened to our feedback. I didn't mind that the beach was a bit of a walk from the resort, you could take a cart and there was always a spot by the pool and beach - probably because it wasn't a prime time to go (right after new years), I could see the beach being very uncomfortable if it was full but I loved the fact that there was a buffet right on the beach but again its for everyone including kids. I think it could have been cheaper in price for what you get. Would I go again? sure if it was cheaper, I mean the sun and the ocean is what we came for anyways but for a 5 star I think it could use a bit more luxuries and attention to details. VH Gran Ventana Beach Resort: Highly Recommend!

This resort delivered more than expected! The food was incredibly delicious, not just for resort food! My party of friends was delighted at each meal, which was always varied. The grounds are well laid out and nothing is far away - very short walk to the beach, restaurants, pool - all very convenient. The staff are all very lovely, helpful, and fun, and the resort itself is also located a 5-minute walk to a local mall where you can buy souvenirs, services, and conveniences. I would recommend this resort for anyone looking for a basic all-inclusive vacation to the Dominican Republic!

Marien Puerto Plata Hotel: Nice family vacation

Was a nice resort to spend a week with family. Rooms were very nice and comfortable. Travelled with an infant and accommodations were great. food was very good. Beach was nice but water was too rough to swim in 5 of the 7 days. Staff very friendly.

Catalonia Royal Bavaro: Wonderful vacation at Royal Catalonia

The Hotel was by far one of the most beautiful resorts we have visited. Size is perfect as with around 220 rooms and a large area, you feel like you have resort to yourself. Food was amazing Beach is 5 stars Staff are amazing with 5 star service Would go back in a heartbeat

Occidental Caribe: Best Ever Experience!!

The hotel, the staff and the food were all amazing!!! From Check in to Check out we were spoiled!! The rooms are nice and clean and the buffet and a la carte’s were all good! The pools were clean and lots of staff around. The entertainment crew were great at getting us up and having fun. I especially enjoyed meeting Miss Diana! I love the yoga sessions and the aqua fit. I can not wait to come back for another vacation!! My daughter and I both loved it!!!

Catalonia Bavaro Resort: Definitely not what was expected

We have been not to many resorts, but mostly 5 stars.I am not going to tell about stars given to this place,but resort is outdated.Need complete renovation and staff ,who is not asking money from tourists.We were very disappointed, when was no beach towels for an about 2-3 hours. Otherwise food was good and beach with ocean out of questions.

Grand Palladium Palace: Great Experience

We had a great time despite the off and on rain, which didn’t really last long. It was also incredibly windy for a few days. The beach was fantastic for long walks. The food was good for the most part. There are lots of choices, with dishes from many parts of the world. The rooms were very nice. They were very clean and maid service was good. The only complaint would be that the Travel Club (time share) people would hound us to go for their Free breakfast. Casa Marina Reef Resort: If it an't broke why change

Have you ever gone to a place had great time food good great location family have a good time, then on your next vacation went somewhere else and it was losy or had a bad experience it happen to me and you spent all that money and you regret going there.
