Wyndham Alltra Playa del Carmen: Great place relaxing
The service was great the food was good the three restaurants were good and the buffet was nice good selection of food the staff is very pleasant throughout the resort. Just wish the shows were at 9pm only seen one because we had dinner at 7:30- 8 every night and the shows started at 8pm. There was a lot of families there so they had a lot fun by the pool when they had the foam party’s. The beach has a lot of seaweed but we go to relax and lay around the pool it’s or second time at this reso [... read more]
Riu Vallarta: Excellent resort and service!
Beautiful hotel. Excellent staff and service. Food was great and drinks were awesome. .
Hotel Xcaret Mexico: Amazing resort!
Hotel Xcaret exceeded my expectations. The hospitality was amazing, everyone always greeted you with a smile and an “hola.†The food was incredible, Xin Gao and Bio were our favourites but the rest of the restaurants were also above resort standard! The whole resort was beautiful, with rivers around every corner it was always a treat to look at. It was great having the parks accessible, and the tours plus guides were always very friendly and knowledgeable. Honestly the best resort I have ev [... read more]
Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Exceptionally clean, great staff
This was our second trip to this hotel. Our son loved the kids club, food is excellent, very clean, great drinks. The entertainment/ night shows were even better than last year! Amazing talent! I'm celiac and lactose intolerant and had no problems eating anywhere. Lazy river was great.
Wyndham Alltra Playa del Carmen: Good resort
The food is good and the location is great it has everything within walking distance There’s not much in the way of entertainment at night it starts when your having dinner and finishes pretty early. It’s far to expensive when you have to pay the single supplement which will definitely stop me from coming again.
Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Great time
3 rd time staying at Royalton and 2 Nd time at this one. Resort has everything you really need in vacation from plenty of restaurants and bars and variety of food. I did however find this time that the resort especially the bathrooms were not always clean. On top of that the coffee in the hideaway was usually empty. Unlike the Royalton in Punta Cana where they had the coffee and latte machines. Other than that been on several all inclusive vacations and feel Royalton is worth the cost.
Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Awesome Time!
This was the second time that I visited this resort. Both experiences although seven years apart were fantastic. Seven years ago I stayed at the Iberostar Paraiso Del Mar. This year I stayed at that I Iberostar Paraiso Beach. The grounds at this resort are immaculate, the pools are second to none, and the food and restaurants-top-notch. The staff was very attentive and always available if you had any questions. The rooms were very clean and were clean daily in a very professional manner. The nig [... read more]
Secrets Huatulco: well run hotel
no coffee no beach towels no pool side chairs this was a constant complaint from many guests the hotel also had no tables at chin chin on friday nite the place is full of canadians from west coast the turtle release tour was great
Azul Ixtapa Grand Resort: Good and okay
Excellent staff at this resort very happy and friendly, beautiful view rooms very clean with rain shower, large jet tub, comfy bed, coffee maker, beer and water in the fridge. Very nice pools with great drink service. The food is just okay, we tried all the restaurants and nothing stands out at all, little decorative plates of weird food? The main buffet is boring pretty much the same everyday. Nighttime entertainment is terrible when we arrived we had a mariachi band which was nice but hard to [... read more]
Dreams Riviera Cancun: Great experience!
Dreams Riviera Cancun was in the top of our vacations as far as total experience for a wonderful family destination vacation! It was beautiful and welcoming and had great amenities! Food was super with lots of variety! Service was top notch! The pools were tremendous and I am an ocean lover. We really enjoyed the evening entertainment in the lobby bar and that worked out so well being an open air environment and had space for the stroller we had plus a space for a little person to roam and [... read more]
Catalonia Royal Tulum: Wonderful Resort
The tropical gounds, beautiful pool and excellent staff, made this a perfect holiday with old friends. The beach was spectacular, beautiful to walk on with good snorkeling right in front of the resort. The small size, Adult only and availability, with no reservations, of great dining options, made for a relaxed vacation. The only dining option that was a disappointment was the Mexican, and we love authentic Mexican cuisine! We highly recommend the Privilege upgrade, which gives many perks i [... read more]
Ocean Riviera Paradise: Great Resort
Beautiful grounds. Excellent staff. Only drawback was the aggressiveness of the H10 Timeshare people, first minute we arrived, cost us 3 unnecessary hours...:( Nicholas the bartender at the main lobby bar-great. Irene-waitress at same bar-excellent.
The Reef 28 Playa del Carmen: Great resort!
The location is great with easy access to 5th Avenue and all the restaurants and nightlife. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food, especially breakfast was very good. The rooftop pool and lounge area is a really nice setup and the service was good. Mario and Geraldine were both great! Having the option to shuttle to the other 2 Reef locations is also a nice setup.
Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres: Great Resort
This resort is beautiful, grounds, rooms, food and beach are excellent. If you want a wonderful beach and gorgeous water this resort has it. Food at all restaurants are delicious, didn’t have one bad meal. Staff go out of their way to help you and make your vacation relaxing and enjoyable.
Riu Palace Riviera Maya: Top notch. Prideful staff make it what it is.
The rooms and grounds are clean and well maintained. The beach has nice sand and a safe swimming area. There are always chairs available. The pools get a bit busier and are cleaned daily. The food is very good with lots of variety. Two of the restaurants have dress policies for men but not for women. Policies should be the same for men and women I believe. I cant day enough about the staff. They are well trained and personable.
Krystal Puerto Vallarta: 3 Star at best
Not everything was bad, however, I don’t feel it should be marketed as a 4 star. Upon arrival (noon) our rooms were not ready, the kindly stored our luggage and provided us with wrist bands. Our rooms became ready around 3pm. Our room was in tower 2, ocean view room. The room is gorgeous and very clean. There is no face clothes provided and only two towels and one hand towel. The issues I found in the room was the walls were very thin, meaning you could hear eeeeeverything, even talking i [... read more]
Platinum Yucatan Princess: Nice hotel
Good hotel, great food. There was a slight smell of sewage that we couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. We weren’t in the rooms very much so it wasn’t a big factor. If you plan on being close to a family member with 2 room bookings, it is difficult to arrange this. I was far away from my family, even though we asked to be close together. You can’t contact the hotel by email to make arrangements either.
Barcelo Maya Colonial: Amazing resort
People where great, food was excellent, my only problem was I could have flown from Victoria, and not Vancouver, I thought travel agent knew where I lived, and we asked for 2 beds and only got one.
Riu Playacar: Rui Playacar
The beach was the most AMAZING beach ever!!! Like anywhere, the staff was excellent! It was a milestone birthday for me and they made it special! Food was repetitive and would have liked some variety. Overall, great memories were made here!
Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Great Family resort
Beautiful grounds- very tropical & well maintained, lots of resident creatures wandering around ( peacocks, cats, Mexican raccoons & monkies ) Lots of walking & bike paths- definitely recommend bringing a stroller for young kids, you walk everywhere. We stayed in the older section of the resort- rooms were tired & in need of some TLC. Our cleaning Lady did a fabulous job of keeping things spotless. Food was mainly buffet style- OK but not great, lots of choices to keep kids happy though- h [... read more]
