Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Amazing resort. Everyone was so great!

Food was awesome, rooms were very clean and service was A+. Maids were very friendly and if we asked for a specific thing with no time we received it. A la carte restaurants were very good and service was awesome. Beaches were clean despite the seedweed. Will definitely go back.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Excellent !!

Second visit , getting better and better ! we stayed at villa 66, right on the beach , a new pool and villa next to it is almost done, can't wait to go back. Got free wifi , just log in again @ lobby every 24 hrs. (save $49.00/week)

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Beautiful Resort

We ended up in Ambar I and the location was perfect. We were close to the lobby/restaurant/pool and beach. We really didn’t need to use the trams except for a few of the ala carte restaurants and night time activities which was great. The staff were really super friendly, the beach was gorgeous and the food was good.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Fantastic Resort and Stay

This resort was amazing, everything about our stay was excellent. What we liked about this Resort is: the food is excellent and never the same, they have a lot of variety and it's very tasty. the people are great, friendly and always wanting to help out. The resort itself is absolutelly amazing, we love all the landscaping, the flowers, the plants & trees; I have never been to a resort that is so clean, our room was clean and beds were made twice a day. This was our fisrt time in a Five 5 * hote [... read more]l and we most certainly plan on going back to either the Luxury Ambar and or Luxury Esmeralda on that same site, we do have to say that a one week stay is not enough to take advantage of everything this resort has to offer.

I cannot say 1 bad thing, everything was excellent , the staff is so friendly, the entertainment, the food and the workouts on the beach as well as poolside made working out fun, yes fun!! I would recommend this resort to everyone.

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Great place

We stayed here for one week Sept 16-23 it was a great trip, beautiful resort! The food was good the Japanese restaurant was our favourite very good sushi. It is a large resort which we don't tend to do as we enjoy the smaller ones but it was always easy to get around with the shuttle , the beach was beautiful a little seaweed a few days but the workers tried very hard to keep that under control! Beautiful grounds and friendly staff overall o great trip!

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Okay!

The rooms, reception area are beautiful well maintain, the resort it is really big, the down fall for this resort is there is no coffee in the morning ,good coffee, real coffee water and alcohol very poor quality, beach towels very hard to get.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Very nice Resort !

The Resort was well maintained, healthy trees and nice flowers. Very nice! -Ground- The Luxury and the Grand are one, in same building one Resort. In web selection they were two. And, that was not easy for us want to get off when the bus arrived to the site we didn't see the Luxury but saw the Grand ... at the gate. ha! ha! Site Construction- The noise/dirt were quit reasonable and acceptable. No loud noise. People seemed to have a good time at the Pool end that's close to the fencing side of  [... read more]the construction site. Room- We first stayed in the Luxury section Room 23118, main floor, nearby the fence of the construction site. It was nice but bore in viewing, plus few other issues in the room . We then moved to 18122, the 1800 Block of the Grand section. The room we moved to was better than the one in the Luxury Section. It's near by the beach, more trees to see and people walked by. Happy! Food- Food was fine, not bad. We had "a la cart" 4 pre-booked but used only two at Picasso and the Italian. The Orchids Buffet was the one we used most. It was good, best fruits and salad and lots of selections. Staff- The Staff were nice, friendly but very slow in servicing ever !!! at the Luxury section reception. Night Shows- So so, not as good as many other resorts we have been. Pool- One main, long, around and at the back of main building. Looks nice, attract, lots of people. We're rarely in the pools, only beaches when in resorts. Not sure how good it was and so the drinks. Beach- It was so beautiful, lovely. Not far away as some people said. Water was nice and warm. Beach always is the first choice for us when on vacation. We were there most of our time and enjoyed it a lots ! Overall, Luxury/Grand Bahia Principe Resort is a beautiful one but may not a 5* till the construction is completed and the Staff has to speed up in service a bit more. We love the Resort, the People, and the Country, and will come back at least one more for sure.

For my first experience at a resort I was totally amazed! Beautiful decor in our room and common spaces. Very clean everywhere! Staff friendly and helpful. The food was plentiful and they had something to satisfy everyone.

My husband and I stayed at the Luhury Gran Bahia Principe Ambar from Sept.06- 13 2015. We had fantastic holiday in a fantastic resort.Overall everything was excellent including excellent service plus a big bonus is a shuttle.First, I would like to thank Fabio for our rooom 80304 in Ambar 2 it was fantastic 3rd floor pool view with balcony overlooking the pool.The grounds are exotic. Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: great holiday

Resort was great. Good food and great service. I would definitely recommend this place. Our room was very nice. Ocean view and close to the pool, We were able to walk to other resorts owned by Bahia Principe and enjoy their pools and food. We were never bothered by anyone trying to sell us stuff which was nice.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: amazing resort

We were no disappointed at all. The resort was absolutly amazing. The rooms were beautiful, nice an clean and with everythin you need. The beaches were breath taking. Turquoise water with white Sands. Enjoyed all the restauran an buffet. Nice selection of food an drinks. The nightly entertainment was fun to watch. The people were ve friendly and helpful.

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Good resort!

Pro: Nice hotel (small buildings) and nice facilities. Excellent food. Perfect place to go with children - waterpark was fantastic. Con: Not a very clean hotel, for a 5 star expectation. (the room and te bedsheets were smelly)

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Good

Stayed Sept 3-Sept 10 food and drink was very good . It was very humid and no air conditioning in buffet. Rooms were nice . The staff were friendly . We had trouble getting mini bar stocked the first couple days but it was taken care of after many calls. The beach was not that great very shallow and lots of sea weed .

Perfect sized resort - not too big or too small. Great amenities and friendly staff that does amazing things with what they have. Loved the beach and the coffee shop. It was a wonderful place to relax and experience Cuba.

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Hotel management and service issues abound

Disorganized reception by Air Canada and the resort e.g. an hour wait on the bus at airport, an hour wait at hotel, rooms not ready. We stayed in the "Luxury Don Pablo" section. Noisy construction but had to really insist strongly to change rooms but not until the next afternoon; Lost a day of vacation. Rooms tired but they are building new ones. Excellent quality entertainment on site. Food beautifully presented, but not 5* taste. Beautiful restaurants but difficult getting reservations yet the [... read more] restaurants were 70% empty?? No towels in rooms all day & many calls achieved nothing. Beach lovely but far from where we were staying. Hot buffet food mostly cold. Service poor and cool, often unfriendly.

Got upgraded to the 5 star resort presumably because they were overbooked in the 4 star. Only minus was instead of our king we got 2 doubles..but with so much to do we weren't in our room long........

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: “Great all inclusive resort”

5 of 5 We checked into the Grand Bahia Principe Coba on August 10th to the 17th and I must say, this hotel is worth every single penny! The resort is HUGE, but after the first day or so you'll be completely familiar with everything plus you can use all the facilities of Grand Bahia Principe Tulum as well, so it's like a "buy one get one free" sort of deal! They also have these shuttles/trains/golf cars that take you anywhere that you need to go and you never have to wait more than 5 minutes! Tho [... read more]se were one of my family's favourite part of the resort, those little trains are so comfortable, helpful and such a relaxing ride! There are no complaints about the service, you can see how hard everyone is working and how fast they work as well for long hours so take the time to appreciate your service! The rooms are very spacious and beautiful! We felt right at home and if you ever need anything, it's just a quick phone call away. The buildings are beautiful, but more than anything, Coba's landscaping is top notch! My kids really enjoyed all the little animals as well, they were really cute! The food is abundantly delicious and fresh! The A La Carte's were also amazing, but unfortunately we didn't make it in time to see the Japanese show, so make sure to be there 5 minutes or so ahead of your time! Shoutout to Hector at the Snack Bar, he was very nice! The most amazing thing about this resort is that there is constant entertainment 24/7. The Coba entertainment team works so hard every single day from early in the morning at the pool to late in the evening, there's never a dull moment at the Coba! Shoutout to Gabriel, Irma, Jose (i think that's his name), Charlie, Nallely, Eduardo and the many other entertainers at the Coba! I have never met people with bigger or kinder hearts than these people! We love you Coba entertainment team! It's also really nice how they give out t-shirts as prizes, a lasting souvenir to take home with you! Once the evening shows are over, you can head out to the terrace for more fun and then over to Tulum's hacienda where you can listen to live music, the singer is truly special! After the living music, from 11:30 to 2am the disco club is open, so there is always something to do, there is no way one can complain that they were bored! We did go to the Jewellery Factory and Playa del Carmen, it was a day well spent! We also went to Xel ha and it definitely was a family favourite! I highly recommend Xelha because it's such a perfect and beautiful day, it is aquatic based but the park is mainly natural! Overall, we had a very memorable vacation at the Grand Bahia Principe Coba in Mexico! :)

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Nice Resort

Hotel layout was very large and could become confusing haveing to travel between different lobby's for dining. Food was decent in the buffets, but the a la carte restaurants were quite good. Staff were efficient but not overly enthusiastic about serving you.

Beautiful grounds very clean friendly staff great food great drinks rooms need a little more care and mattresses need to be updated as not very comfortable air conditioning needs to be much stronger as it was very hot
