Platinum Yucatan Princess: Good clean adult retreat.

The resort is well maintained. Staff were busy cleaning everyday. Staff were excellent and friendly. Service was great , food was excellent. Loved the fact that you did not have to make reservations at the a la carte restaurants - it’s first come first serve. The beach snack bar was excellent (although under staffed). You could get chicken wings, ribs, fries, burgers, hot dogs, nachos and drinks. The breakfast buffet was excellent - service was fast and efficient - servers were excellent. Make sure you check out the sports area. It’s not well advertised but you can go paddle boarding, batting cage, archery. It’s a bit of a walk from the main area. Check out the other resorts you can go to with your reservation - one next door is HUGE! There is a casino and sports bar. Didn’t take in any of the nightly shows but heard great reviews from others. Get ready for the foam party every Saturday night. The main pool is very busy And logic music is played from 11-430 everyday; everyone rushes down in the morning to claim their chairs. If you aren’t down by 10 good luck finding a lounge chair. There is a quiet pool but it was a long walk from the main pool. Had a great time despite 3 days of cloud cover and cooler weather. Golden Parnassus Resort & Spa: Exactly what we needed

All the amenities, clean, good food and amazing staff. Perfect 5 day getaway. The beach is beautiful. Quick access from the airport. The restaurants never has a wait and check in and out was a breeze.

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Amazing Resort

We were at the Royalton Riviera in Mexico again this year. Last year for 7 days. This year 10 days. Next year 2 weeks. What am amazing resort. Restaurants galore, Italian, seafood, Indian, steak, Mexican , Texan, Japanese, buffet etc...The most wonderful staff, many pools, great rooms. On & on & on. My one recommendation is book up to the Diamond Club. That will make your time there great!

Crown Paradise Golden: Great vacation

Great service and location. The resort is older but clean and well maintained for the most part. The staff are always working hard to ensure great customer service. The pools are a little too warm for my liking but the views from the rooftop pool is fabulous! The food was very good and the variety plentiful. We would suggest the resort could use more umbrellas and palapas, but many other guests have stated this. We always felt safe and walked off the resort a few times.Theres a mall close by with many stores.All in all a great family vacation with our adult children.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Nice and clean Resort

Resort is very clean, grounds, rooms, lobby, restaurants. Great food selection. Difficult to get reservations at all A'la carte's. Staff is nice. Entertainment is average, same as most resorts. Layout is great. Building 6 is very central to everything. Not enough pool chairs.

Iberostar Waves Cozumel: Enjoyable holiday!!

The hotel was clean and the grounds were beautiful. Our room was great with a nice balcony and pool view. The staff were very helpful and made our stay very comfortable. The waters were a bit rough while we were there as the weather was cooler then normal so the snorkelling was not as good as usual. We did snorkel off the end of the dock and did see some colourful fish. I would recommend this hotel and would go back for another winter vacation. Linda & Ross Beattie

Wyndham Alltra Playa del Carmen: Amazing Resort

The resort is fantastic. From the moment you enter the lobby to check in you notice that the Resort is clean and well maintained The rooms are spacious and well appointed and clean. All staff have a great attitude and seem to love to come to work. The Entertainment Staff Celia,Sergio and Mr Mike made the day awesome and the shows on the outside stage Fabulous.

Grand Riviera Princess: Grand Riviera

The hotel was very nice, great food, very clean, good service. All the restaurants were very good. We very much enjoyed going to the Chill Out restaurant and private beach every day. Armando and Pablo made sure we were well taken care. We also were guests at a wedding on the beach with dinner at the Chill Out restaurant. It is a very big resort and we found the trek to the beach was very long .

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Good Resort

The hotel is nice and decently clean. There will be little things here or there wrong that may bother you the first day but once you ignore the small things, it is actually a good hotel. One of those little things is that for example we booked with Colonial but when we got there the sent us Tropical. After talking to a few people that have travelled there, we found out that it is actually a common occurrence. Overall though it is a nice hotel specially for families with small children. I won't say this is one of the best hotels you'll ever go to but I will say, you will have fun.

Crown Paradise Club Riviera Maya: Nice Resort, Crown Paradise Club Cancun

We ended up here due to the fact the new one in the Mayan wasn't. ready for guests yet. Although this resort was nice it is an older resort. Not great for anyone with mobility issues, many steps everywhere you go! Not sure the beach was able to be enjoyed if you couldn't do stairs! Resort was clean and food at the a la cartes was great, buffet repetitive and always only lukewarm. Lots of kids so lots of noise! The adult pool is far from the adult section of the hotel. Andrea at front desk was always pleasant and promising to fix whatever issues we had but no results without going back to see her many times! We did tour the new Crown Paradise in the Mayan and it is very beautiful!

Grand Oasis Cancun: Amazing resort; 100% recommend!

The hotel itself was extremely clean, and the staff was very welcoming. Overall, if you're young and like to party, then Grand Oasis Cancun is your best choice. We will definitely be coming back again!

Riu Flamingos: nice resort

For a 4 star resort it certainly needs upgrades and a good cleaning. In our room the ceiling fan could have used a good dusting, the curtains needed a wash and the fridge needed cleaning. If you look past all that it is a nice resort. The food was okay. The loungers needed cleaning or replacing, very uncomfortable. Not enough little tables. The resort seemed to be short staffed. The beach was not as clean as other beach we have been to. There is a bird problem that needs to be addressed  [... read more]because they are all over the tables and chairs in the open air parts of the restaurants. Lots of kids at this resort. The slide in the pool 2 slides were closed off. There was a kids pool but most of the kids were in the bigger pool. The washrooms around the resort need help, either the toilets would not flush or the sinks would not drain or the hand dryers did not work.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: 3rd times a charm

Just returned back from Blue Bay Grand Esmerelda.. a great 4* for your dollar! Food, drinks, grounds, pool are all fabulous.. The work done on the beach line was a definite plus.. The rooms are ready for a revamp and update but loads of hot water pressure and a comfy bed.....if there is a musty scent ask the concierge for maintenance to drain the air conditioner and its gone... we also bring Bounce sheets and that helps with any issue as well... We have only ever been in building 4 on ever [... read more]y visit and I put a big towel near the door to muffle sounds from other late night dwellers. If you want easy, fun and no stuffiness from other tourists this is a great resort!! Juan and Miriam in the buffet... awesome caring service...Daniel at the swing bar.... the drinks pour freely... our ceramic painting at the pool is always a highlight .... loved our yearly trip and looking forward to the next one!!! Angela at Trip Central was super easy to deal with and I recommend using her for questions, sounding board and of course she made the ease of booking and reminded me it was a deposit and a payment plan if need be, not a few grand out all at once... Anyone can book online but if there is an issue who would you do deal with....

Barcelo Maya Caribe: Relaxing time

We arrive at the hotel around 11:30pm check in was a breeze, our room was in the 5300's so we were close to the beach on the third floor, room was nice food was great never crowded at the Buffet, never had to worry about a chair at the beach the pool is were we sat most days I faced the beach my wife faced the pool, the staff was amazing,

Occidental Tucancun: Amazing experience!

The resort was great overall! Me and the 9 others that I was traveling with had a great experience with the food and service on the resort. The staff was wonderful, the bartenders took care of us and made sure we had an unforgettable experience, especially with Ismael and Max who catered to our needs all week long and made sure we were well hydrated and content!

Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Fantastic resort

The hotel was very clean, and well maintained. Lots of wildlife (flamingo's, deer, monkeys) Hotel situated by xcaret park. Lot's of activities. Plenty of food choice's at the restaurants. Food was very good. It was a wonderful experience.

Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya: Amazing resort!!

Where can I start...perfect size resort, very clean and great staff, food, premises are all amazing! Very close to Playa Del Carmen by taxi...Absolutely loved this resort and will go back a third time!

Grand Palladium Vallarta: Nice hotel!

It was a nice hotel. It is really spread out, so lots of walking and lots of stairs. The food was good, drinks were also good. The staff was friendly. My biggest complaint would be the lack of lounges by the pools and the beach which could easily be solved by bringing out more. Lots of room for more. Security actually was timing how long you were gone from your lounge.

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Wonderful Resort

We stayed in January, which was our 2nd time at this resort. We love how huge it is, which so many options for things to do. We enjoyed all the food at the buffet, as well as the hamburgers by the pool. For the beach you definitely need water shoes to enjoy it. We had one issue with our door lock one night (battery in lock died) security was there within minutes to let us in our room, and also fixed the lock within minutes.
