Grand Sunset Princess: Amazing Resort

Beautiful grounds very friendly staff.service was excellent. Food was very good something for everyone. Entertainment was very good. Staff very knowledgeable. Pool was excellent.Excursions that we’re booked were amazing.Resort bedrooms were kept very clean.rooms very spacious. Would recommend this Resort to anyone.

Hotel Xcaret Mexico: Fantastic Resort!

We really enjoyed our stay, lots to do and staff were amazing! Food was great with lots of variety. Lovely spacious rooms very clean! Only small drawback was the beach is small. Also we could has done without the timeshare crap.

Occidental at Xcaret Destination: Bad food

Had diarrhea every day. Food was bland and nothing special. We ate at every restaurant. Salt water pools were great. There really isn't a beach as it is man made. We attended a wedding and unfortunately the meal was served in a private room which was exposed to the outside and it was very hot and humid.

Grand Sunset Princess: Relaxing vacation

Resort was wonderful. I upgraded to the platinum rooms and they were spacious and comfortable. Platinum service was excellent and the private pool relaxing. The beach did have a lot of seaweed. Whatever, still better than Lake Ontario. Anyone complaining is spoiled and unappreciative of nature. The platinum area of the beach was well serviced and lots of shade. Food was mediocre, but I always found something. The best a la cartes were mamma Mia and La Fluer. But it’s all subjective. Stop b [... read more]eing picky and appreciate the lovely surroundings and hard work of the people who get up everyday to work to ensure we have a nice vacation. Tip! Don’t be jerks. These people get paid pennies compared to us, if you can afford to go to an all inclusive you can part with a few extra dollars to appreciate their efforts. I would go back again. I got the vacation I wanted and loved every second.

Selection Riviera Cancun: Great resort

The grounds were well kept, the resort was beautiful, the a la carte were great but buffet was cold and poor food choices We loved the pool but the beaches were way too much sea weed and not able to get in ocean has was very poor and vpold not even see your feet in there

Barcelo Maya Colonial: nice resort

Very nice resort. Beautiful grounds with beautiful beaches. Food was excellent. Service was good except at the pool bar where we were ignored but solved that by leaving the pool to go the the bar just behind the pool bar where the service was much better. Coffee bar was excellent for coffee and service.

Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: Almost perfect!!

The resort is beautiful. The rooms were large and very clean. The food was above expectations. The service was friendly and staff went out of their way to be helpful. The shows were excellent. There were a few drawbacks. The pool that was closest to our rooms was shut down for the week. The beach was covered in seaweed. They had crews working all day every day to clean it up. The golf carts were supposed to be on a schedule to do pickups at certain locations. They were on Mexican time or not at all. The golf cart situation was the biggest drawback for me. Patty

Catalonia Yucatan: Average at best!

The hotel was tired and needed some upgrades. For the price we paid, the food was average at the buffets and the service was average as well. the beach was terrible as it was a lagoon so not much to look at or walk on.

We were very please with Ocean Riviera Paradise resort it was very clean the food was amazing the grounds were very well kept I would go back again we were in the adult building & the adult pool beautiful the beach is very nice also

A very clean and well-maintained Resort. The staff were very friendly. The food at the buffet was delectable, as was the Italian and Japanese restaurants, although some of the other restaurants need work. The menu at the Seaside Restaurant was especially disappointing. The thing I found most frustrating about this Resort, was the lack of information regarding the children's activities. At one point we were told about an activity that was supposed to happen, we showed up and it didn't happen. The only reason we knew what happened was sadly we looked up and there was foam floating to the air. My children were very disappointed. El Dorado Seaside Suites: Great resort

The service was excellent. Premium alcohol at all the bars. The Food was excellent, and many options. The decor was modern. Tons of nice little touches to make the vacation extra special! Water shoes recommended for the beach, but the Bali beds were a really nice touch.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Great resort!

Our hotel was really nice, and in the adult only section right beside the pool. Staff was very friendly and willing to help with anything. The layout of the resort was great, although the beach was quite far from our hotel. The breakfast buffet only opened at 6:30 am and we left at that time. It would’ve been nice to have a small breakfast before leaving. The water pressure on the jacuzzi was slow, but not a deal breaker, you just need to think ahead before wanting to use the jacuzzi. Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: once again an amazing trip

we just came back from the Valentin for the 11th time! yes I said "11 times" in the last 5 years. This resort is Amazing! The food is awesome, never got sick from eating at the Valentin. The quality of the food is great, always consistent, never a disappointment. The staff is also great, several of them made a point to talk to us because they recognized us from previous visit. They work hard and we ALWAYS tip them which is a reason why they recognized us. Would anybody do this in Canada? why do it in a poor country where the service is better than most restaurant back home. Awesome place, do not hesitate to book at this resort.

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Great resort!

The hotel was incredibly clean and well maintained. Our room was perfectly cleaned every day.The pools, even the lobby were always looked after by the hotel workers. A special thank you to Miguel who worked his magic with kindness and patience. It was greatly appreciated. The only low point would be the pressure sales tactics for the Premium program which is essentially a time share. We were told it would be informational in the case we would want to go back. It was the only challenge met during our week.

Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya: Amazing Resort

Hard Rock did not let us down. Everything from food and drinks was amazing!!! only thing i would change would be that there was no real beach. Otherwise fantastic service and amenities. Amazing family vacation.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: 3 resorts in 1

Very large resort. A la cartes were awesome! Excellent shopping within the resort. Lots of walking as it is very spread out. Very disappointed with the beach and the fact we could not order room service.

Selection Riviera Cancun: Great Vacation

Traveled as a couple for one week from Toronto. The grounds here are phenomenal, extremely well maintained. We never saw a single bug or anything dirty the entire week. The room was huge 3402 luxury jaccuzzi suite, comfy beds and very clean. A/C was ice cold, although so was the shower water, I had 7 cool showers, and she had about 4 hot ones. probably the 4th floor and timing to blame. Food was good, never went hungry, always some form of chicken, pork and fish. Could have used a bit  [... read more]better veggies, but we did have nice broccoli one day. Breakfast was the best meal, with short lines for the omelet bar and fresh waffles. Fruit was amazingly tasty and fresh, but not much available after breakfast. Resort was large but felt very small because of good locations for everything. Avoided the beach due to seaweed season, but the beach bbq and entertainment was great. Drinks were super fresh, with fresh fruit used in most girly drinks. I rocked strawberry daquiris for 7 days, ask for the better liquor of your choice when ordering. Pools were large and clean, kids were plentiful but never felt that they were all over. we never got to use the adult side due to the towel idiots that come out at 6 am to claim the chairs and don't use them until 3 pm. Kids side was more fun anyways. There was a pizza restaurant on the kids side and ninja turtles galore, kids were having a blast. Not gonna lie, i took a few pics of the turtles in costume running around, im an 80's kid Took the free trip to Playa del Carmen, we recommend if you want to swim on a nice beach and snorkel take this trip and just hit the beach instead of shopping. Sea turtles, sting rays and lots of fish. resort had small to medium iguanas just chilling out by the pool areas, not friendly per se, but we fed a few. We stayed at Secrets Silver Sands next door a few years back and it was amazing as well. if you are doing adults only, i recommend Secrets, but for a 5 star kid friendly place, this was perfect.

Platinum Yucatan Princess: Great resort, I enjoyed the atmosphere. Clean rooms, great restaurants. Service was awesome!

A great place for a vacation. I went for the pools and relaxation and got that. The choices of Restaurants were good. The entertainment was good at night ,thoroughly enjoyed Grease. The service was very good! Pools were awesome! Unfortunately a lot of seaweed on the beach.....if you want a beach, this may not be your first choice. I am not sure I agree there should be a dress code for men at dinner but not woman, sexist.

Hyatt Vivid Playa Del Carmen: Beautiful resort

We stayed at this resort 6 years ago and decided to spend my 50th bday here again. We love this place and especially Guy Fieris restaurant on 5th Ave! We actually ate there twice.we just love5th Ave! We had the lobster on the beach again but to be honest the first time we had it it was a much better experience,more intimate and the dishes leading up to the lobster was also better. Over all this resort is beautiful and the staff are ALL attentive to your needs and they all make you feel very special.
