Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Amazing resort

Fantastic , hotel was well kept very clean great entertainment friendly staff and great food. Amber 1 was more entertainment throughout the day. All the ala cart restaurants were amazing staff were very outgoing. I can't wait to go back!

Bahia Principe Explore La Romana: Great resort and the adults only area was lovely.

Only real disappoinment was the ocean-while clean it wasn't that beautiful clear carribean sea that you come to expect due to the massive amounts of dredging of sand for surrounding residential development. But food, service, accommodations and people were lovely and there were amazing caves less than 10 minutes by taxi that are like a hidden treasure.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: downhill

I seems ownership has change since I was there a few year ago. Staff less friendly. No tip, no service. We were forced into booking a meeting and and tour. We skipped it and the resst of the week our service was even worse(swear I got blacklisted). The ac wasn't even that cold. (was before). Tons of noisey construction morning til night. (shook our room) overall it's as if th hotel just gave up on doesn't care anymore. It's sad.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great time

This hotel did not disappoint. Grounds were impeccable, rooms large and clean. Our AC worked well and no issues with water in bathroom. The room was cleaned and stocked daily. The pools were great! It is true that you have to get your chairs early as by 8ish all the ones with shade are taken but that is likely because more people stay by the pool then the beach. The beach was gorgeous - they work hard to remove all the seaweed. The waterpark was a hit with our girls and we ended every day there. [... read more] The kids club was also very good with lots of activities. The food was delicious, especially the a la carted gran Tortuga and the show table at mikado. All in all a great family trip !

The Eurostars Grand Cayacoa: Loved it here!

We loved our vacation here. It was the overall experience that made me give it 5 stars. In spite of reviews of the not the best beach, which is true, I still have to say the overall experience is 5 stars. The room we had was huge and had a view of the water. The beach does get muddy from the current kicking up sand, that's the only negative, but the great food and atmosphere of the entire resort itself made up for it in my opinion. Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Good, family fun!

-Grounds were very clean -Food was great -Service was good (although not a huge emphasis on English -- it would be an asset if you were able to speak Spanish) -Room was spacious -Beach was gorgeous -Pools were beautiful, although no swim up bar -I would recommend this resort to families with children, as there were a lot of kids when we were there. Wish we'd have known this ahead of time! -the city, Las Terrenas, had a lot of nice restaurants if you'd like to go into town for a date night

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Big, Big, Big Resort

Hotel was very big with excellent food and entertainment. The property was well kept and staff were always courteous and responsive. Had towels issues every single day. The hotel seems to be selling a time-share concept called the privilege club which I found truly annoying. This was the first time ever that I felt harassed on property by the hotel. Not a good concept. Enjoyed my trip though. I would rate the hotel a low 4 stars. Oh yes excellent entertainment.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Not very luxurious

Very disappointed in everything. Rooms with dead bugs on the walls, construction going on just steps away from our room, no cold drinks, al lecart dinners booked up the day we arrived until 2 days before we left, wait time for a drink at the swim up bar was at least 25 mins...why bother.

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: A Vacation to remember!!!

If you have any reservations about going to Gran Bahia Principe, throw them away we have been to D.R previously but this hotel has met all of our expectations. Beach is perfect, food is great and tons of things for children to do

The Eurostars Grand Cayacoa: Still the best view in DR

This is our second time in Bahia Principe Cayacoa. We decided to visit this place again because of the amazing scenery. It's scenery will alway be etched in our memory and will make us to visit again in later years. As was in the winter of 2013, all services were excellent. Resort ground, staff, food, room service were all very good in this August. Though there were minor glitches, you see them in all other resorts and we have no complaint. As expected the weather was hot outside in the open to the point we were sweating under shades during day times. We were trying to cool off in the main pool, but the water was very warm that it did not refresh us. It seemed the pool water was not changed in timely manner. Due to small body of water, the whirlpools were even warmer that we thought they were hot in the afternoon. If the pool water was kept cool, guests during summer time would feel quite refreshed from the hot climate. We avoided the pool after the first try and stayed at the beach where water was cooler than the pool. Another reason we chose Cayacoa is that there was no sea weed at the beach. Over all our vacation was excellent in the resort and we decided to visit Cayacoa in the future. Thanks to all the staff who were always eager to serve us.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Luxurious Resort

The rooms were nice and big, great food at all the restaurants, nice pools, good selection of alcohol at the lobby bar, awesome entertainment at night, friendly staff. Beach was full of seaweeds and was not good swimming. Mini fridge in the room was not replenished daily. Cashier at the front reception did not have change of smaller bills. Overall, a very nice resort.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Beach and Facilities could be much better

Service was very good, but beach was covered with weeds. Had issues with room AC and septic smell in bathrooms. Moved rooms - very inconvenient. Location of resort was very good. Excursions extremely expensive.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Ok resort

I visited this hotel for a family reunion/celebration and even though we was determined to have a good time there are some stuff that I cannot let go. When we got there it took us about 2 hours to check in, then they gave us rooms 10812 10813.. the balcony faced a swamp area and it smelt like sewer. We had to be moved over to a building#7. I fridge did not work and there was cockroaches in my washroom. My brother-in-law fridge and TV did not work, his sister telephone did not work and the size o [... read more]f the hotel you need the phone to call the rest of your party to let them know where you were at. The web apps to book your a-la-carte did not work neither for your complaints. My brother-in-law went to the front desk to change his US money ( which he got from his bank in Toronto) turns out they did not have smaller bills but they changed his $20.00 US and gave him a counterfeit bill. Then the manager tried to claim my brother-in-law was lying... this was very infuriating. Then there was the occasion of the Caribbean night party which the hotel charged an additonal $15 US for adults and $5.00 for kids. I made friends with another mom who bought her tickets to attend. Turned out when my group went by to the event we all got in free. The manager opened up the door for all to get in since the attendance was very low. My friend then told the manager on check out time that she should not be charged at which time he told her I was lying we did not get in for free and still charged her card $20US. The staff was very friendly however I felt it a bit fustrating since most could not speak or understand basic English like gin and soda or crushed ice. However the loveliest people ever! During our stay one of the pools was fouled and they did not drain the pool just blocked it off and did whatever they did. As for the set up of the place they need a snack bar at one between the 2 pools.. both snack bars was at the beach which made it hard for getting something to eat if you were at the other 2 pools. Entertainment at the pool was poor and there was no floating devices at the pool you had to purchase everything for yourself. I am disappointed since I have been to 2 other Gran Bahia properties and was so happy with it. I will not recommend this location to anyone. Management really needs to get better at this location... Best thing of all was the food and the friendliness of the staff.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Punta cana-Bahia Principe

Well maintained , huge as all Bahia Resorts. Great food, clean big rooms with quiet A/C. Unfortunately, after 8 years in Bahia Resorts , I had to pay for safety box :-(. For so expensive vacation I expected that gratis as in Bahia Principe Coba .

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Very nice resort

Resort itself very big, clean, well kept grounds, amazing pool, beach area was nice. Buffett - Very good quality food. Jerk chicken at snack bar/ beach side, excellent! Staff very friendly, only issue during the stay was with house keeping, two of us in the room but never had enough towels during our stay.

The Eurostars Grand Cayacoa: Super

I was happy to spent a week with my husband! Nice people, Nice room, great food! I would recommence this hotel. The beach is calm and beautiful There is a lot of stairs and the service for the shuttle is not convenient...

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great for kids

Very large resort. Many dining options. Everything was satisfactory. Check in was delayed by 2 hours . We were asked to go on a presentation for the privilege club told us it would only be 90 minutes but after 2.5 hrs I finally had to get upset to get out of the presentation not the way I wanted to spend one of my mornings!!!

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Tullum was amaizing

Grand bahi principe Tullum was great. Clean, nice staff and lots to do for the kids. Unfortunately a lot of seaweed on the beach but we can't do anything about that. The Xelha excursion was awesome!!!

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Friendly and welcoming resort.

Hotel very clean. Food excellent. Was disappointed with the weeds on the beach, they tried their best to keep it away but it was too much. Did not like the huge resort complex, found it took too much time to get around.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: One of the best trips since our honey moo!!

We booked at the luxury Bahia Principe Sian Ka'an and it was the best trip we've had since our honeymoon. This adults only resort is calm and relaxing and everything we were looking for, for our summer vacation. the staff ifs beyond awesome, friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The pools are so nice. And the entertainment pool was very fun. We had our private section on the beach and it was amazing. Beach bar was excellent. And the entertainers are very active and fun.  [... read more] All in all. Our trip was spectacular. And recommend this hotel to anyone looking to get away from noisy kids and have a relAxing but fun experience.
