Riu Reggae: Great hotel

The hotel was clean the rooms were clean the staff was great the entertainment was fantastic the bar staff was friendly and efficient I have been to this resort my second time I s my favourite another positive thing is 5 minutes from the airport We will be back next year Thanks for a great holiday

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: Bahia Principe Luxury

Had a 7 day stay at the Bahia Principe Luxury in Jamaica. Only an “okay” experience. Rooms outdated, food “okay” unable to book an A La Carte for over half of the stay because we travelled as a party of 8. Beach was a disappointment.

Grand Decameron Cornwall Beach: Good location

Was not a good experience. People smoked everywhere and I just could not get away from the cigarettes and marijuana scent...had to talk to management as one weekend our room had the smell of marijuana coming through the vent -front desk came up, admitted the to the odor, sprayed with lysol but then I had to be out of the room again. Few times my husband and I sat on the balcony but I had to return inside to get away from the cigarette smell coming from the adjoining balcony. On the other hand it is a beautiful place, but if you have allergies like I do, you're not going to enjoy yourself. I couldn't stay around the pool long, neither the beach, neither my balcony -and for that Saturday night I had a mask on in the bedroom occupied by myself and husband who does not smoke. The food could be better, was often times short of spoons, but the worst is the health implications.

Catalonia Montego Bay: Amazing Beach

The beach here was amazing, there is a small island that you can walk to. If you like snorkeling there is lots to see. Food options are ok, wish there were ‘clean’ options. Jerk hut was great!!’ All in all a good spot!

JOIA Rose Hall by Iberostar: Mixed Feelings

In short, everything outside of our room was great ie. pool, beach, food, the facilities and the staff. Where they fell short was the inconsistent service of the room. Every day we had issues whether it was water, coffee, towels, replacement of dirty glasses etc. On one occasion our room was not even cleaned.

Riu Ocho Rios: do not go here !

Just arrived home 2/28/2024 after a week at Riu Ocho Rios. This was my first time in Jamaica & will be my last. #1 My sons wife was physically assaulted by another guest (A Jamaican living in Canada but there on vacation) this man harassed all of the women in our group of 12, minding our own business having a drink outside the sports bar in the lounge area. He was told nicely to leave once, came back 10 mins later with more of an attitude. My son then retaliated to protect his wife, when this mans son came out of nowhere and tackled my son breaking his wrist & punching him in the mouth. Security came and various other staff, who were all laughing at us. They did nothing to this man & actually blamed my daughter inlaw saying she started it. What a joke! The other option was, our entire group of 30 people can leave and we can seek out legal action with the police. Anyone that knows Jamaica leaving a resort at 2am in the morning we would have probably been robbed or killed. #2 The hotel clinic the woman was super rude & refused to even give us a tensor bandage or anything even to purchase one. Totally unacceptable & disgusting. #3 The pool staff (life guards) are pigs , non stop hitting on the young girls in our group (daughters). making advancements, pouring water on their breasts, touching ect.. After reading more reviews on this resort of multiple similar reports... is this acceptable to the Riu resort chain? Our group spent approx. $90,000 dollars on our stay at this resort. I would highly recommend that nobody goes here. It is nothing special & sketchy as hell. If you cant feel safe at an expensive resort with a joke of a security staff, where can you feel safe ? Disgusting resort Rui !

I had a great time at the Bahia. As a solo traveller the staff was open and very friendly! There is always something to do. Too notch food as well! Can't say enough about the friendliness of the staff. They are the reason I will return.

Riu Reggae: Riu reggae is a great resort!

From arrival to departure, everything was great! The grounds, the food, the staff, the entertainment crew is second to none! They work long hours and are consistently cheerful and outgoing! We especially loved Afro! Don’t miss the “white party”. Loved our entire stay!

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Fantastic

Very relaxing, well kept resort. Staff was extremely friendly. Be sure to check out the shops on top of the kids club/The knife restaurant. Great deals! Would recommend this resort to anyone looking for a great vacation!

Sandals Ochi Beach Resort: Amazing resort

Sandals is a wonderful resort, food was spectacular and they ensure you are pleased with everything. Had a butler village room and was happy with the service of the butlers, you are treated to every possible thing you could think of. They go out of their way to make your stay memorable

Bahia Principe Escape Runaway Bay: We will be back

Hotel and grounds are amazing. Room is huge. Make sure you have the app for room service. If I would go back I would make sure. I got an ocean front room as the garden view was not a garden. It was houses. Room food grounds people 5/5 we had a great time..

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Fantastic resort

The hotel and grounds are kept very clean. Rooms are a good size, we had a king size bed and lounge area. Noise was minimal. No sound from adjoining rooms . Sometimes we could here a door closing in the corridor. The food was great. The Chef cooked fresh fish and meats at the buffet which were delicious. The buffet food was not always hot but really, it's a buffet! Lots of choices. We had freshly cooked salmon, swordfish and steak for lunch most days. Many wonderful things but a few minor problems. First the front desk was friendly and efficient. The cleaning staff were everywhere and had power equipment necessary to do the best job. The maid service was friendly and efficient. Our only complaint was they sometimes showed up early morning, and at other times mid afternoon. The hotel suffered from the problem that occurs at almost every resort which is people leaving towels on lounges and not returning for hours. A few problems with restaurants. The Italian restaurant listed two soups but only had only one. The menu listed seven pizzas but when I ordered one I was told that they were not available. The restaurant had no cappuccino or espresso but the bar near the lobby served same. They are must haves for Italian. One of the two buffets had a sign on the door saying "open at 6:30" but when we went there with a six year old granddaughter we were told it didn't open until 7.

Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters: Jamaican Hideaway

The hotel was clean, bright and well maintained. Staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. There are a lot of restaurants with a variety of food options. Service is quick and the food was tasty. Please note that rooms are very small and a double room contains 2 single beds—not double. This was unexpected for the price of the room.

Ocean Eden Bay: Food and entertainment

The resort is beautiful, spacious and grounds kept clean. The only downside I would say the when they painted and tiled parts off the resort its a little sloppy. The food and entertainment were by far the best I've encountered at a resort. Beach is ok ,been to much better but everything else makes uo for it. Would recommend

Grand Muthu Runaway Bay Club Caribbean: Never Again Holiday from Hell

Never would I ever go to this resort again, Garden rooms are in a parking lot by the highway right where busses come in and out of., everytime theres traffic or horns it wakes you up. Mattress on a cement slab, cats meowing and defecating near room in the so called garden, large roaches out side the room. Staff not accommodating let alone friendly. I was called discriminate name from a bar tender and made me cry. No beach chairs as people were claiming them in middle of night. Pools small and not enjoyable. Morning of departure staff knocking on door at 9am asking us to check out. Put out a so not disturb sign so we can have breakfast and shower as check out was at noon, came to room at 1130 and they were in there cleaned room out and luggage was at door of room. I could keep going on and feel we should be compensated for a holiday from hell.

Riu Montego Bay: A piece of Paradise.

Our second time at the Riu MONTEGO Bay. Very nice time. Real nice place to relax, have drinks and eat real delicious Jerk Chicken. Nice staff and good service. Thank you . Good, nice, warm , clean.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,.

Riu Ocho Rios: Perfect resort

We had an amazing time at this resort and never ran out of things to do. Private beach is located very close to the rooms making it relaxing to not have to walk far at all. Multiple pools and with scheduled events such as foam parties with music keep you entertained. Grounds are always maintained and service is exceptional as everybody is friendly. Rooms are kept clean everyday as if it was the first day you walked in, housekeeping does an amazing job. Bartenders are very friendly at all bars. Riu Palace Jamaica: Home away from home

This hotel is a perfect place to relax and unwind...the staff is so kind and do everything they can to get to know you...Natasha at the front desk was awesome and Jemar is a server for breakfast and lunch he was fantastic..Storm was a dinner server also great...Paul was a bartender at the pool bar he serves the best drinks. The grounds are extremely clean and the food is delicious...even the picky eaters will find something to eat

I would say this a must go to resort in Jamacia, very well maintained, and beautiful. The rooms could use a update, but the service was spendid and the staff are really nice...would definitely return to this place.
