Dreams Jade Resort and Spa: Very nice

Small and easy to get around. Excellent service and food. Love no wrist bands and no huge complex with resorts all over. Pool chair saving excessive, people were out at 5 am and never came back for hours. Ocean was rough and rocky so if you're a beach person not for you. Upscale on Xmas eve was such poor taste by resort when people have already paid so much.

Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya: Fantastic Vacation

We loved this resort! The grounds were nice with a lot of coatis everywhere! The pool was nice and unlike other resorts the tiles on the pool deck were not slippery. The beach had the softest sand and barely any rocks in the water. The food was good, we enjoyed the Japnese the best(ate there 3x). The staff was awesome ,entertainment team Fermin,Sandi and Hector, waitress at the pool Bianca. We are hoping to come back here again.

Dreams Riviera Cancun: Dreams cancun

The flight there no complaints. Kids club was awesome. We got priority seating and my son got a set of headphones and a colouring book for the flight. Our transfer to the hotel was brutally long. Although we only had two other families with us the driver drove half way dropped off a couple, drove all the way back towards the airport and then drove an extra half hour to our resort. Check in went well. The grounds were so so. While we were there I saw 3 cockroaches in the lobby. Room service was o [... read more]kay. Longer wait times and they got our order wrong a couple times. Dinner options were okay. Lots of kids options and my son ate well. The steak was horrible. I had to send it back twice. First time it was full of fat and the second time I asked for it medium and it came out blue. Wait service was good. Staff were all very friendly. The best Resturant by far was the Mexican place. Lots of options and really great atmosphere. Our room was good however we had to request cleaning and drinks in the mini fridge the entirety of our trip. The beach was nice. White sand and good control of the seaweed. The pools were great too however absolutely no seating. Families go out at 6am to reserve chairs. We had one chair for the three of us. Spa was incredible. I got a facial and fell asleep. Very very relaxing. Overall it was an okay stay. Good but not great.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Wonderful resort and great people.

This was our second visit to Bahia Principe Sian Ka'an this year. We would highly recommend this resort for anyone looking to relax, enjoy great food and have a little fun around the pool. The staff are wonderful - Eglaydy in the buffet, Manuela in the bar,Pastor and Daniel (aka Sugar Daddy) in the food and beverage, James, Josh, Francisco, Diana around the pool. Barcelo Maya Palace: Love this resort

Beautiful beach you can snorkel or just enjoy the view. Food is amazing in restaurants or buffets and great entertainment. Our 3rd time stay. Many guests we talked to had been repeat guests just like us. If you want to be active and like a beachfront resort this is the place.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Excellent

Very nice hotel, good variety of foods , clean pools, very nice and helpful stuff. Special thanks to Derrick from agent support. We spent 5 nights we will return back for sure. Greetings from Canada ??

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Friendly staf, very lush grounds

Staff very friendly at all times. A bit of a walk to other areas of the resort , but a cart service is available. Food was ok at the buffets , always found something to eat . A l carted was ok. Could use more seating along walkways as sone areas far to walk. Sad thing is the snack shacks were not open . On our side of the resort so we always had to go to the other buffet

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Colonial review

Hotel looked clean, and well maintained. The 2 areas, to my opinion, that needs improvement is in the food and animation. Food was OK, but got bored very quick with the options we had in the buffet. Animation was absent. Big gap between the dinner and the evening show.

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: I would not recommend

We were a party of more than 20 people and close to half of our group spent at least one full day in bed with food sickness. The hotel does not limit the number reservations people can make so there were zero reservations at the a la carts restaurants unless you paid for wine in advance. The beach was also not great. The staff were kind and lovely and could not do enough for you. I would not return.

Bahia Principe Escape Tequila: Bahai Principe Grand Tequila

We just returned from a week at the newly renovated Grand Tequila and were very pleased our decision to try another Bahai Principe resort. We have been to Punta Cana Aquamarine a number of times and Grand Tequila did not disappoint. Some observations were that the gym was in the basement, no windows, no TVs and much smaller than the gym at Punta Cana which included a separate room for fitness classes. The rooms, grounds, Lobby, pools and restaurants were all well kept, clean and inviting. Our on [... read more]ly complaint was the app for booking restaurant reservations, frustrating and difficult to say the least. Also, we were afforded specialty restaurant reservations for each night of our stay at Aquamarine in Punta Cana and there was a reservation interactive screen where you could book, change and delete reservations very easily. One other observation was that at La Casita a full menu was available if you chose the Spanish site but the English site did not include a full menu of options. We only realized this on our last visit and the staff were the ones who pointed out that to get the complete menu offering you needed to access the Spanish option, maybe the other languages as well? All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and realize it is a new part of the resort and kinks have to be worked out. I would definitely recommend Grand Tequila.

Barcelo Maya Caribe: Excellent Resort

This is a large resort. You have access to the sister resorts and are all walkable. The food was excellent. The rooms are a little dated but are very clean and comfortable. My grandson has food allergies and the kitchen staff was able to provide us with separately prepared food. The beach is beautiful and you can walk a good distance. However water shoes are a must. There are large rocks under the water you can't see. Once you get in the water 100 feet or so there is nice sand. There is no bar [... read more] service at the beach but service is available at the pool. The staff were pleasant and accommodating and worked very hard. Thanks to all the resorts staff. The Xmas eve diner was something out of this world. The food and decor was amazing. Thanks also to Kevin Dupuis from trip Central who handled my booking . He is always available when i have questions.

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Fantastic resort

We loved our stay with our two children. The Beach was beautiful and we absolutely loved the snorkeling off the beach. We saw many fish and swam with sea turtles. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The grounds are so well taken care of and we didn't find anything was far to walk to. We all enjoyed the food and felt that there were enough choices for everyone. We were there over the Christmas holidays, the feast on the 24th was out of this world. The staff were very friendly. We had an exce [... read more]llent stay. The only thing was that the pool wasn't very warm however we did travel over the winter months so I guess this is to be expected.

El Dorado Seaside Palms: Great resort for the price!

Hotel grounds were very nature-centred which is amazing! Very peaceful and quiet, lots of bali beds and places to lounge by the water. staff were extremely kind and attentive for the most part but waiters can forget about you when dining halls get busy. Room was nice and clean with a comfy king sized bed, but we found that the blankets were just sheets instead of duvets which is not ideal. We also found that they do not switch out sheets and pillowcases daily and they only remade the bed with ol [... read more]d sheets which was not the greatest either. The food was amazing at the italian and mexican restaurant, but the buffet is a great safe choice too. The breakfast buffet was our favourite due to the make-your-own omelette bar. Overall, we would come back again!!

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Unique Experience

I wanted to try this hotel as it seemed different from other all inclusive. The resort is beautifully landscaped and has lots of trails for walking and cenote for swimming. The bad part was beach as it was very rocky and small lagoon too small to swim. Food was fine just big lineups at buffet. Overall nice but not for beach and swim lovers.

Barcelo Maya Palace: Great Resort, Great Beach!

Big clean beach, with many different activities for kids and adults. Large clean pools, great staff and service. Billiards, Table Tennis, games, water sports (Sea Trike, Kayak, ...) included. Many bars and Buffets with good variety.

Barcelo Maya Caribe: Still a great resort

We returned from Barcelo Maya Caribe a week ago, after a 10 day stay. This was our third time at this complex, previous 2 stays were at the Tropical. The grounds are still beautiful and well maintained, although there are less colorful plants around the palm trees than before. Rooms and bathrooms were a bit dated but functional and very clean. We loved the bed sheets! The mini fridge was restocked daily and we always had enough towels in the bathroom . Food in the main dining room was just ok [... read more], not as good as on our previous visits, the choices were limited but we always found something to eat. The food in the main buffet was not warm enough, especially at dinner time. We ended up going to 4 a la carte restaurants: Italian, Mexican, Spanish and Japanese. All were great! We have to mention that the resort is very clean and that service through out the resort, from every department, was excellent - thank you Barcelo! Entertainment team, especially Joseph and Marianne, were awesome. We really enjoyed their energy and effort in including everyone in the games and aqua aerobics in the pool. The pools are amazing, huge and well maintained. Plenty of lounge chairs available around the pools and on the beach. The beach has eroded over the past few years, more rocks and coral on the shore, but still good access to the sea. We recommend wearing water shoes. Would we return there? Yes!

Grand Palladium Select White Sand: Shame about the food.

The hotel itself is clean, well-maintained, and the pools are genuinely lovely — plenty of space to relax and enjoy the setting. Unfortunately, the food is fairly mediocre overall, and the booking system for the à la carte restaurants is an absolute joke. It’s frustrating, time-consuming, and feels completely unnecessary for a resort of this size. A nice property let down by its dining experience and an inefficient reservation system.

Barcelo Maya Beach Resort: Great resort!

The food was good, beach is nice, and the pool activities were fun. I loved that the resort itself is small, but all the other Barcelo resorts on the grounds are available and accessible, which gives you so much more to see and do without ever leaving the grounds! We were told about the sea turtles at the pier, but didn’t get to swim up to them because it was too windy. Would definitely come back here again for a longer stay.

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Amazing resort

It was our 7th time going to this resort. So that tells you, that we love it. We were a group of 14 family members. Everything was amazing for us all. Many of us, it was their first time, and all wants to return

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Good value for money

The beach was very nice with almost white sand, seaweed like always but was cleaned as needed. Surprisingly the food was good and top notch service from young Maria, and the restaurant really good specially the Italian and the steak house, the bar service was very good and the coffee house was excellent, hats off to the guys who worked there. The front desk guys could not change rooms from first floor (noisy ) to higher floors. The room on first floor needs some upgrades like new mirrors an [... read more]d a fresh paint. There’s a 5-10 walk to the beach from the room which was fine for us, no shuttle taken.
