I have very good time, Beach beautiful, clean and service very friendly .I have very good experience, and recommend to my friends and family this resort. I had amazing time in this resort. Food good and excellent variety.

Royalton Cayo Santa Maria: Beautiful Resort!!

A week at the Royalton was absolutely amazing. We went there to celebrate our honeymoon and babymoon. The beach was breath taking and the staff were amazing and kind. The general manager went above and beyond to make our stay amazing and we appreciate him so much! We can't wait to return next year to this beautiful resort. We miss it already.

Vila Gale Cayo Santa Maria: Just OK

I recently stayed at this resort and unfortunately, I cannot recommend it. The lack of basic necessities such as water and toilet paper was frustrating and made the stay uncomfortable. Additionally, the lack of food options was disappointing and not what I expected from a resort of this caliber. The substitution of alcohol with other alternatives was not a suitable replacement and detracted from the overall experience. The bug situation was also a major issue. It was nearly impossible to rela [... read more]x or enjoy the amenities due to the overwhelming presence of bugs. This was not only unpleasant but also created a health hazard. However, I must acknowledge that the beaches were beautiful and the people were wonderful. The natural beauty of the area was truly stunning and the locals were welcoming and friendly. Overall, while the location and people were lovely, the lack of basic necessities and bug situation made for an unpleasant experience. I hope that the resort management can address these issues to improve the experience for future guests

Well....Cuba beaches are still the best....for sure. Drive was smooth to the resort....good tour guide on the way to the resort and back as well. The food was basic and very limited...breakfast was good...outside of that...the next 2 meals ...noon at the beach bar and supper was different every night due the low numbers of people at the resort. Room were nice ...basic but nice... Entertainment was nice...very limited but they always had something at the lobby bars. The bartender were ex [... read more]cellent...quick service...minor issue ran out of beer one night and rum another night but was filled up by next morning . Question...would I go back,,..I am one to always go elsewhere but what this resort offers and the nice quiet time... I would go back.

Playa Cayo Santa Maria: Always great to go back to this amazing resort

It is Cuba, and they do suffer because of the embargo on the country, however this hotel provides great food, very clean and beautifully landscaped grounds, very clean pools, amazingly clean rooms and the staff is always ready to help make your stay a great experience.

Grand Aston Cayo Las Brujas: Review

Hotel had so much more potential. The room was okay, safe didn’t work, shower drain was clogged, mini fridge wasn’t cold. The most disappointing thing was the staff weren’t friendly and that really put a damper on things.

Iberostar Selection Ensenachos: Peaceful and relaxing holiday!

This was our second time returning to this resort. Last time in Cuba was 2014. Times are hard for the Cuban people but they really try so hard to make everything nice for the guests at this resort. We stayed in building 34 and it was really nice. To us the bed was surprisingly comfortable ( not sleep country but not bad) as we have had bad experiences with mattresses in the past. The room was clean and spacious. There are food shortages in Cuba and although there is always something to eat  [... read more]and we by no means went without, sometimes there were no eggs for breakfast or sugar for coffee, or no chicken or beef at any meals. It made us think of the local people and what they are short of. Beer and wine were missing some days but rum is always available. You can manage just fine if rum is available! Right? We liked that we could use Canadian money for tipping so no need for bringing American cash and no exchange of currency needed. The beach is absolutely one of the best in the world, hands down! So crystal clear and stunning. We never had trouble getting a palapa and chairs. As a side note: the filtered water is so much better since the Cubans no longer use plastic bottles. I always felt after a few days that the water tasted funny from the bottle. Like it was sitting in the plastic bottles in the Sun somewhere for too long. They now use glass bottles on this resort. So much better! We would definitely return to the Iberostar Ensenacho Santa Maria.

Had a wonderful week at this Resort. Great staff doing anything they can to accommodate you. Drinks and food were the best I experienced in Cuba. The beach was crystal clear and beautiful sand. I would return.

The Beach was beautiful! The Staff were very friendly and helpful. Due to the ongoing supply chain issues in Cuba, dining was not expected to be gourmet, even for a 5 star rating but the presentation was very nice. I did not care much for chemical spraying of bugs without warning every night around supper time. I’m sure it was necessary but being outside inhaling the fumes was not pleasant. The resort is nice but is definitely showing its age. It could do with some repairs and upgra [... read more]des. In its current condition, I would personally give it a 4 star rating.

Grand Memories Santa Maria: Is a good resort

The resort has negatives. But with a positive attitude one sees a beautiful well kept beach. Well kept grounds. The workers at the resort were always helpful to do their job. I would definitely return to this resort.

Sanctuary at Grand Memories Santa Maria: Incredible beach and beautiful sea

The hotel was adequate for my needs. The staff are very friendly and lovely. Except for the lack of variety in food it was a nice relaxing time. Of course, it’s all about the beach ! The grounds are kept up nicely and things seemed quite clean, especially my room !

Melia Las Dunas: Great resort, enjoyed it very much

Beautiful grounds with lots of trees and bushes. Gardeners do a great job! Excellent beach. The food is simple but good tasting and nothing to complain about. Restaurants are very good with regular food elevated to new level, much enjoyed.

Playa Luxury Cayo Las Brujas: It's a good resort

The staff was very professional and riendly. The service was very good, but they need to keep the beach clean and do more to get rid of the flies and mosquitoes. I would go back to this resort again and I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Food: Wasn't expecting a lot of variety, but I'm not picky either. I'm a vegetarian. Lots of bread, cheese and fruit to choose from 24 hours snack bar as well. Playa Luxury Cayo Las Brujas: Amazing resort

The hotel was amazing and the grounds along with the pool are kept clean. Eveyone was very friendly and accodating. No complaints! I plan on visiting again,my friends they also had a great time. So thankful!

Vila Gale Cayo Santa Maria: Grand Sirenis Cayo Santa Maria Amazing Resort!

Grand Sirenis in Cayo Santa Maria is the place to be if you want to be treated like royalty. The Hotel Director "Patchy" is an absolute Gentleman and will do anything to make sure you are enjoying your stay and that you have everything you need, The Customer Service Representative "Pedro" I can't say enough good things about this Young Man. He is Mature, respectful and an extremely hard worker. We were there for 8 days and he was there everyday straight. He is helpful and kind and like P [... read more]atcy will do whatever he can to make sure your stay is enjoyable. I will return to this resort in a heartbeat just because of these two. We enjoyed a beautiful Ocean view room with a King-size bed, a personal walk in shower and a separate water closet. A coffee maker and safe in the room. The cleaning staff are excellent the rooms were done everyday before noon and always a special designed towel at the foot of the bed. The food I have to say was better this year than 2022, we ate healthy everyday and enjoyed the food , we did bring our own condiments which did help-you won't starve but if you are a foody don't go to Cuba. It is Cuban cuisine and consider it lucky that they are able to do what they can with so little to work with. This Country is suffering so the more people that go there will most definitely help their economy. If you can, bring clothes and shoes. Personal items, tylenol, vitamins, toothpaste, shampoo things like that. They literally can't buy it there. One of the waitresses told me if she needs a new a shirt it costs her 6 weeks wages. The Government provides them with a bag of rice and a bag of beans a month and it doesn't always get to who needs it. It's heartbreaking. So go to Cuba, enjoy the most Beautiful Beach and turquoise water that I have ever seen, get pampered by the staff eat the food they provide and be KIND! Sanctuary at Grand Memories Santa Maria: Our stay

We just returned from 10 days at the sanctuary Santa Maria. The beaches and ocean were amazing. The resort was clean and staff were friendly however we paid more to stay at the Sanctuary and yet went 5 days no milk, ran out of beer, tea, and bread. We had to ask for our towels to be changed and the same with our bedding which wasn’t done. They closed down one of the cooking stations in the sanctuary so we had to have most of our meals at Grand Memories. There was nothing special about  [... read more]the a la carts as they served the same food as the buffet. Ourselves and many others we had spoken to where very disappointed.

Starfish Tropical Cayo Santa Maria: Starfish was AMAZING!!!!!!!

The beach is the best I have ever seen, white powder sand as far as the eye can see. The ocean was as warm as a baby’s bath water . The hotel was beautiful. The rooms were very clean. The food was excellent, there were no shortages during our stay. The staff were kind, sweet and wanted everyone to be happy and safe all the time . As for Covid, ot is no longer an issue there, but everything is so clean that I felt very safe . I would definitely revisit the Starfish . We loved it!!!!!

Valentin Perla Blanca: Great Cuban Resort

This was our first time to this resort. It is very large at over 1000 rooms but is only half open (just since November 2022 post Covid). Check in was easy and we were in Building 30. The room was large , clean and basic ...refrigerator with water only. The food was VERY Good with lots of breakfast options . We had lunch at the beach (grilled chichen sandwiches ..yum or at the 24 hour snack bar. The evening meal we ate at the Frangipani buffet with so many choices...pork, chicken. fish , shrimp,  [... read more]lobster ,pasta, and so many vegetable options soups,salads, desserts. You could NEVER be hungry. So many swimming pools , and maybe one of the most gorgeous white sand beaches we have seen. NO SEAWEED at all and 3 beach bars. The only downside was no beach washrooms. The grounds are gorgeous and lots of places to walk. There was live entertainment most nights at both the lobby bar and the buffet. Also the is a TEA CORNER to get specialty coffee or a quiet drink. Great live entertainment in the Theater and fashion shows in the lobby. There are electric transport available to shuttle you around in desired. We had a wonderful 2 weeks and would probably go again. We met lots of folks that had been to this resort 10 , 12 & 17 times , guess that says a lot.

Vila Gale Cayo Santa Maria: Beautiful beach, unusual resort

If you are looking for a relaxing peaceful vacation this is NOT the place. Loud music on the beach, loud music at the pool, loud music before dinner in the lobby, loud music in the buffet dining room. It appeared that during the day it was a competition on which location could play the loudest music. Rooms were very clean and comfortable, lots of hot water.
