Iberostar Waves Tucan: Iberostar Tucan
It was paradise. The grounds were amazing. Everything very well looked after . Nice to have wilderness mixed in with the resort. The workers were great ..polite. We would definitely return. The food was very tasty. The 5 alacart restaurants were good.
Ocean Riviera Paradise: Great new resort!
We went with a group of 8 people, everyone from our group loved the resort! The rooms were nice and clean with a nice comfy king size bed. The bathroom had 2 sinks (Great for 2 people to get ready) and a nice rain head in the shower! We were in the adult section by the adult pool and buffet - the building closest to the lobby. We liked our location. There was a bus trolley to take people to the beach if you didn't want to walk. It went from the beach to the lobby and back. The buffet was be [... read more]
Bahia Principe Explore Coba: No Hot water leaking ceiling and many more problems with this place
Paid extra for gold upgrade didn't get any of the benefits ie cooler was supposed to b stocked daily had call them most days it never got done , no hot water for days, leaking ceiling, bed was worn out barely had any sleep didn't get daily service to make the beds mgmt didn't care at all a horrible stay room was very stuffy no ventilation even in Cuba this would have been a 1 star
Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Had a wonderful time, this resort can use a makeover
We had a wonderful time and fabulous weather! There were good and not so good things. As a result I would rate this hotel a 3 star. Staff here were all amazing, friendly and service oriented...boy they work hard in the heat! The big dissappointment was the noise. The hotel was overbooked during our stay as it was spring break. There was lots of noisy drunken students in our building, slamming doors, loud when they came in at 4/5am. The pool started to turn green, it was hot and cro [... read more]
Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Didn't get what expected
I’m very upset and disappointed with our stay in Mexico. We didn’t get the family suit in Coba resort that we paid for and were transferred to Tulum without any reasonable explanations or excuses. Check-in time took us three hours. We came from Calgary and were wearing our sweaters and boots, and nobody even offered a glass of water. Two rooms that we’ve got in Tulum were separated by the door, and we called numerous times to have it open. Conditioner in room #1703 was not working. They [... read more]
Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: This resort is very nice.
Had a nice relaxing trip, did not start off well though, got there very late and we had upgraded our room months ago to the penthouse suite. When we went to check in they told us they had no more penthouse suites, we paid an extra $860.00 for this upgrade, they told us we have to stay in ground floor suite and they would give us $20.00 a day for down grading that you would have to spend at resort. Anyway we argued and the next day they moved us to our penthouse suite.
The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Unbelievable experience. Highly Recommend!
The resort is beautiful and exceptionally maintained. Food was incredible. Getting restaurant bookings was easy. Service was exceptional, warm and friendly. Great English speakers. Beautiful pools and a nice beach. The music was actually really nice as well. We stayed in a suite that walked out onto the pool and it was absolutely gorgeous. Mini bar stocked regularly with premium beers, pop and chips. A very classy place.
El Dorado Royale: Amazing Resort & People
I had an absolutely fabulous time. The staff was nice, the hotel was beautiful, the restaurants were great. I was able to obtain beds by the pool every morning (usually got there by 7 am to save our spot). My only complaint about the resort was the beach property really wasn't nice while we were there. There was algae everywhere, and so much we couldn't even enter the water. I was advised of this prior to going by Rebecca my travel agent. I was quote content by the pool, so it didn't bother me [... read more]
Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Grand Bahia Principe Aazin Resort
I do give this resort a full 5 star. As the food is just amazing. The rooms were great and the maids and mini bar person took care of us everyday, but please remember tips and small gifts make a difference. They treat you like Royalty. The grounds of this place is immaculate well taken care of. Golf trolleys take you everywhere, to rooms or shopping-free of course. I recommend this resort and the other three sister resorts, Akumal, Coba and Sian Ka'an
Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great resort
The staff, food, grounds and drinks were great.. We will be returning next year.met great people from all over the world. Bartenders Ivan and Alejandro at the club golden deserve a round of drinks on us. Thanks Coba staff see ya next year.
Grand Sunset Princess: Grand sunset princess
This resort was good value for the money but the beach was very bad they wouldn't remove all the weeds, just machine them back into the beach. They also need to build new bar and restaurant and washroom at the beach. Very bad and smelly place, needs to changed ASAP.
Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Great Resort
The resort was always clean and well maintained, the staff was always pleasant. Our room was musty, when we reported it they took care of it immediately. The food was wonderful, especially the Al la carts. Some of the pools need handrails for the elderly to get in and out.
Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Lovely resort
Loved our room and how well it was kept during our stay. Food in all restaurants and buffets was excellent as was the service in all. Very high quality. This is the best resort we have stayed at. I would highly recommend it
Grand Riviera Princess: Would definitely return. Loved every minute of it
We stayed at the Riviera Princess All Suites from Apr 1-8, 2018. The grounds are spectacular, the staff in the buffets and restaurants were very friendly. The food was extremely well received by us. We had a swim up room and we basically spent all our pool time here. The resort held many pool events as well as bingo during the day. Musical entertainment in the evenings was very good. Loved the Jamaican band with Reggae music. The rooms are all suites. Very spacious and clean. There is a [... read more]
Breathless Riviera Cancun: Perfect Vacation
We arrived at the hotel Mid afternoon and were promptly greeted with champagne and cool towels. We stayed on the xhale club which was perfect for those wanting a quiet area. Loved every minute and would definitely return .
Barcelo Maya Grand Resort: Excellent resort!
This was our second trip to an all inclusive in the Riveria Maya and although we really enjoyed the first resort, we liked the Barcelo Maya Grand resort even better. The resort is really 5 hotels in one with multiple pools, 3 buffets, 3 theatres, about 5 ala carte restaurants, a mall area with bowling alley, shopping and miniature golf. Everything is connected by pathways and easily accessible on foot. Very long, beautiful beach area!
Ocean Riviera Paradise: Really great place!
Was here for 7 days with a group of 8. Overall we had a great time. Couple downfalls were even with the seaweed issues the beach is rocky and service in the buffet is slow in terms of drinks and coffee. Best bet is to get someone's attention before you sit down. The food was delicious everywere we ate. Coffee at Mike's is awesome. The ice cream shop was a nice add. We watched most shows and again they were quite good! The rooms were really nice but a bit damp. Ask for a dehumidifier if you feel [... read more]
Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: THIRD TRIP TO RESORT
This resort is outstanding! our third year in a row to visit. The place is spotless inside and out. It has four fantastic pools, from ultra quiet to party pool. the shuttle service to the beach and other resorts is spot on little to no wait at all. The food at the buffett is second to none, and we have been to many resorts. The 24 Hr. snack bar is more of a full service Buffett then any snack bar we have ever been to. The service on this resort is exceptional, no matter where you are or what yo [... read more]
Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Total disapointment!
Very disappointed! We never got the room we paid for and were transferred to a different resort. Check-in time took three hours. When we finally got to our room, it was not ready. With three kids we had only two welcoming gifts. Room service is awful, and you don't get anything unless you pay a tip. Personnel barely speak or understand English. You can't swim in ocean as it has rocks and full of a sea weed. Free Wi-Fi only in lobby, if you want it in your room you have to pay extra. But food [... read more]
Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Terrible vacation!
Out of a group of eleven (11), eight (8) of us got food poisoning! This spread out over a vacation package of 7 days. Needles to say that 3 days out each meant we didn't get to enjoy ourselves and our company the way we had intended to. Staff was very good in dealing with us and bringing meals and extra water to rooms, however, it doesn't excuse the fact we all got violently ill over the food. First time I've had to write such a review. Very unfortunate!
