Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Beautiful Resort

Hotel is big,beautiful and clean.The staff was attentive when you can get their attention cause the resort does have a high volume of tourist.We did have some issues with a really bad smell coming from a swampy area and had to request a different room.Also the bar in the main lobby area closed to early at night and it was such a nice place to hang out but closed way to early for people who did not want to go to the disco or casino.Another thing is that the shows clashed with dinner time so it wa [... read more]s hard fitting it in.All in all it I had a very good time and I love the ambiance of the resort

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Nice Location for our Family Trip

The resort was very nice and maintained well during our stay. The service throughout the resort was very good; not exceptional but any issues we had were taken care of. The rooms are a little dated but good enough for a one week stay. The food options were very good but having said that, a fair number from our group did have stomach issues during and after our trip. Biggest disappointment was the beach in Punta Cana itself. Over the last 5 years with the change in tides and winds, the beach is o [... read more]verwhelmed with seaweed every day. The resort does clean it daily but it's a lost cause. 4 Star rating is fair for the resort.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Good resort.

The resort was very nice. The grounds were well kept and the restaurants, swim areas, and staff were excellent. We did have a leaking toilet in our room. That was disappointing. Overall however I was pleased and had an exceptional time.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Paradise!

Beautiful hotel and grounds, extremely clean.Service poolside and at restaurants excellent. The only thing that made me not rate this a 5 star was because of all the seaweed on the beach. It ruined the experience of spending time on that spectacular beach. I have been to the DR in November and the seaweed was not an issue. Not sure if it was just a summer thing ...

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Amazing Resort!!!!

This is a beautiful resort. The food was delicious and the service fantastic. Rooms were modern and clean. Everyone there was always smiling, very friendly and helpful. We had a very good time. I recommend this place to have an incredible family vacation.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Great place with a few kinks

We had a great time on our recent vacation. Beautiful resort, great food and drinks, nice room. Loved that you could visit the others 3 resorts whenever you wanted. Down falls, poor service from staff ver inconsistent and extremely spotty wifi use.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: excellent

almost everything was more then we expected. nice people. good food. clean beach. the stuff trying everyday to make you be pleased, happy, without any worries. we want to go back in the same place in the same room.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Very nice resort

The things you most in a resort for all there. Rooms, hotels, pools and food were all very nice. I had expected the beaches to be slightly better from comments. The staff were nice but I have been treated to better in the past. The Grand Bahia in Mexico were friendlier. Overall a very nice time.

This is a great hotel.. . with some negatives. Reception in Gold is very rude, and will not coperate at all if you have a problem! They messed us around the first 24 hours! Terrible! We asked for connecting rooms and it was not explained to us that it was extra money. I was told no problem by Trip Central ( we needed this for our two 15 year old girls staying in room next to us) There is no beach at the Coba. . .kind of a big down fall! This was not told to us. You have to take a tram to next ad [... read more]joining hotel. This is an Eco friendly hotel. BRING BUG SPRAY!! This was not told to us either. . . We had to buy 2 bottles $16 US /bottle. Bugs are very bad and leave welts! On the positive, the staff is extremely friendly, the food is the best I've ever had in Mexcio,and the grounds are beautiful and well kept. The rooms are a good size and cleaned in the morning for us. We asked for towels once. Lots of pools to swim at, but if you are a beach person, I would not suggest this hotel. Big spash park that any child would Love! Entertainment is amazing! Overal, an amazing holiday that all 4 of us enjoyed!

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: affordable/comfortable

let me start off saying that we had a disappointing wait for the check in it was about two and half hours. once we got into our room though it had everything a couple could ask for, comfortable king size bed, robe slippers, mini fridge stocked, shampoo body lotion complimentary bottle of tequila so the check in wait was soon forgotten. The grounds were well manicured very clean, there was a lot of seaweed at the beach but the staff were cleaning it on a daily basis. The beach was spectacular lot [... read more]s of lounge chairs and you could walk for miles.It was nice staying at one hotel and being able to play at three others, they had shuttle service to and from the hotels which didn't take long at all.The pool area was awesome just grabbed a book and a cold drink which was served to me by the staff everyday. This hotel had the best buffet restaurant i have ever been to on my travels, so much variety some of the a la carte restaurants were small portioned but you always had the 24 hour snack bar so you would never go without. There was always lots to do there they had daily activities really fun for the kids, and nightly entertainment in the theater the staff were amazing so helpful and always cleaning, we stayed in June for a week and the mosquitoes were pretty bad after dusk so bring lots of bug spray This was a great vacation hotel i found myself feeling so relaxed here and it offered so much,very affordable very comfortable.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Amazing trip!!!!!

The rooms was pretty clean everytime, the bathrooms was really nice. Also the food services at the restaurant was great and always served with a smile from the nicest employees. Our days at the pool and the beach were incredibly amazing!!!

Great food. Service was a little slow, but that is to be expected. It was very hot, the beach is beautiful and great swimming. The only disappointment was the on-going construction that went into the night.

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Beautiful resort!

The grounds were kept immaculately clean. The service was extremely friendly. The food was super, great variety and choices. Hotel staff was very flexible and accommodating when requested room change. Rooms were spacious and super clean.

The Eurostars Grand Cayacoa: good value

clean good food friendly people nice resort for a family or singles or even a couple to visit like the other bahia princepe resorts however a little bit older hard working personel always attentive doctor on site and pharmacy near by over all a great experience!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Top notch resort with friendly staff

We were fortunate enough to get upgraded for free (along with some other folks from our flight). I would go back to the Esmerelda the next time I head over to Grand Bahia. All in all, the resort is huge and fun with some friendly staff. They did a huge celebration for Canada Day which was great.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: My resort experience

My time at the tulum was great, I had an great time, staff were friendly, the food was amazing. Which there was more than one snack bar and a nicer beach too much seaweeds. A lot of different things to do.

The Eurostars Grand Cayacoa: Lovely Resort--however food is not very good.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The only draw back was the fact that the food was not very good. Most of the food served at the buffet was cold, especially the food at the buffet restaurant at the swimming pool. If the quality of the food improved I would return to the resort. This is the second Bahia Principe resort I have stay in and to be honest I will not stay in this chain again. Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Great Resort - Amazing Experience!!!

My husband and I went this resort to celebrate our honeymoon in spring 2015. The resort is very well designed, and extremely well maintained. We had an amazing experience from the service provided, the rooms, the food, the pool /beach experience, the entertainment (the one we saw - Michael Jackson impersonation and evening beach party), the overall ambiance... The Eurostars Grand Cayacoa: EXCELLENT RESORT.

We have been to the Dominican many times, and this by far is the best. We had a few minor issues..a few times our room key needed to be reprogrammed...we stayed in one of the villas and if our card didn't work there was no phone on the outside to call the front desk, so my husband would have to walk back to the hotel to get our room card reprogrammed.
