Paradisus Varadero: Amazing experience

Second time at Varadero. The hotel was very good, cozy room (beach front), friendly people, specially the entertainment team. If you like to play tennis, Miguel was an excellent coach. I payed 3 times with him. Hotel was maybe at 45% capacity. So, not so many people at lunch/breakfast time. Only 1 pool was open. Amazing beach Food was ok. my preference: Seafood Recommendation: Do not change your money at the Airport. Keep your US$/CAD/EURO. You will need them

Sol Varadero Beach: Nice Resort

The resort overall is small and it’s easy to get around. Rooms are clean and resort is well kept. Staff is friendly and the beach is stunning. Food isn’t great but expected from a resort in Cuba. Overall, a nice hotel since they did renovations. The pool is right in the center of the resort with a swim up bar.

Melia Cayo Coco: Great and relaxing resort

The hotel is outdated but the service is very good and very quiet, complete R&R. The staffs are highly commendable specially in the Buffett and specialty restaurant. The food is excellent most specially the a la carte restaurant. Special thanks to all the staffs in the buffet for great service. The room is well attended and always fresh and clean. The beach is the best part of the vacation. Great beach, great snorkelling. too. Overall excellent service from Melia Cayo Coco.

Iberostar Selection Holguin: Great resort

The resort is beautiful, we enjoyed much the beach, the Iberostar team were amazing and we love the entertainment every night. The food is okay but more variety will be appreciated. We will surely like to come back again with family and friends!

Vila Gale Cayo Santa Maria: Friendly resort

The hotel is currently far from full due to covid. This meant no issues getting a spot at the pool or the beach or restaurants. The staff is very friendly and not pushy. Not many covid changes that i can tell some signs here and there with purell dispensers (mostly empty) a few staff members would wear masks. Food was ok , the a la carte not worth it mostly similar food to buffet. Buffet had omelet station, stir fry, fresh meats/fish, pasta and once pizza. Animation team very slim no [... read more]t much equipment for entertaining. 2 nights a week had VERY loud music VERY late close to rooms. on the weekend there would be local cubans staying for a few days they were loud and took up alot of room and didnt understand to wait your turn in a line up. Once all the buildings fill they will have to pull out more chairs at the pools and beach and open up some restaurants that were closed. Overall we had a a good time, wifi is free and available from everywhere in the hotel (although signal would randomly drop at times) nice hotel nice staff for the right price i would return

Iberostar Coral Holguin: COULDN'T RECOMMEND MORE!

Where do I start... there are soooo many good things to say. The staff was incredible, specifically our bartender sergi at the beach bar and Alexander at the coral level bar. Our butler Laritzia, and the Yarian! The concergie (we forget her name) was also incredible. Everyday she increased our wifi usage without us asking. All the staff went above and beyond for us. A couple days later we go back and he has a WHOLE BOX of fresh limes! He went to the market on his day off to buy them so he could make me my drink. Unbelievable! Alexander was someone we talked to almost everyday, we got to know him really well and he was such a kind soul. His drinks were excellent but his service was even better. Our two butlers Laritzia and Yarian were the sweetest people we could have asked for. Upon check in they provide you with a welcome tray of meats and cheese, I mentioned to Laritiza I love charcuterie back in Canada and she brought me a cheese and meat tray everyday just because! They were both so detail orientated and really took note of the small things. The food was delicious at the coral level, I had lobster for dinner everyday and my boyfriend had the three meat option (chicken, beef, pork). We would much prefer to eat on the coral side as we found it was better than almost every al a carte and beat the buffet by a landslide, it truly was five star dining. They have a snack bar open 24/7 for burgers, pizza, fries etc. The snack bar food was great for a late night bite after dinner was over. Breakfast was your choice of eggs, French toast, pancakes, fruit etc. Lunch always had a wide variety... something for everyone for sure! I have IBS so I was very nervous about the food selection prior to booking, but as I mentioned I was beyond satisfied and was not sick once. We traveled during low season and couldn't recommend it more, there were about 20 other people on the adult side which made for a quiet and relaxing stay. Our room walked out onto a patio with a cabana which was excellent... no fighting over pool chairs! The room was spotless everyday and the maids were very thoughtful. The beach was also beautiful, you have two options of beaches so we would recommend trying out both! We will be back next summer!!

Don Lino Hotel: Don Lino is turning from bad to very very , very bad.

I was at Don Lino 5 times in the last 6 months. Each time is getting worst. In my last two weeks at Don Lino, there were two days 20 hours without electricity. If there is no electricity the bars are closed, there is no air conditioning and there is no TV. . BUT if there is power for a few hours there is NO TV. The food is always the same and always cold. The people who plan to go there should be aware of what to expect.

Iberostar Selection Varadero: Memorable trip to Cuba

Our stay at Iberostar Selection Varadero was a reminder of all the reasons we have come to love Cuba. The beach, the sand, the hot sun and the warmth of it's people. This hotel is well appointed with interesting places to sit in quiet corners, or be immersed in music and people-watch. The food was great and the a la cartes were exceptionally good. If it were not for the masks worn on the plain, we would not have known Covid existed. Speaking of which, OWG (Off We Go) flight was outstanding. Grand Memories Varadero: Happy to be back at the same Hotel

Hi just to say a few things about my stay. I've been to this hotel four times and each time I stayed it was amazing. About the second day in on my trip we noticed roaches in the buffet room. I tried to put this in the back of my mind and carry on my vacation but it was hard. It will not stop me from going there again. Grand Memories Varadero: Surprising resort, lots of room to improve.

The spaces are beautiful, and the accommodations for staying can be good. Room cleaning is personable and nice, but beware items going missing. Some rooms electronic locks are broken or out of service. Cooking staff is okay, but the food is very mediocre. Without heating lamps or tables, cold food is constant, so be vigilant. Some grill staff make food contamination errors, so beware those who cook raw chicken. Buffet is fine, but bland, bring your own spices. Internet connectivity is okay, [... read more] but not good. Disconnects constantly and only within building reach; needing to bother front desk constantly, but it's better than originally thought. Fun to have family events every day, and with such variety. The night "disco" is the only, but best club on location. When I went, about half of restaurants/locations were still closed (July 2022) which may explain prices. Beware tour-goers and persons on bus offering $-Peso exchange rates.

Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: Resort and Spa

This hotel was awesome. The beach was beautiful and the pools were great. The food was average. The Havana tour was excellent. The hotel front bar had excellent tea, coffee and entertainment nightly. The Spa was relaxing with excellent service.

Melia Peninsula Varadero: July 2022

Beach amazing. Staff wonderful. Great cappuccinos. Resort rooms need upgrading. Supply issues for everything but meat, pasta and rice. Day 3 of 7 they ran out of wine !!!! They ran out of wine!!!! They ran out of wine !!!!

Vila Gale Cayo Santa Maria: Amazing resort

Gracias a todos los empleados de Grand Sirenis en cayo Santamaría . Excelente atención . Las instalaciones muy bonitas la comida muy buena . Playa Luxury Cayo Las Brujas: Impressive for Cuba

This resort is very clean and beautiful, it has a boutique feel to it. Spent a week there in July’22 and will definitely be back. Clean rooms, beach towels are available right in the room, gorgeous large beach. Service was amazing, we had no issues at all, no issues with room or service or food. Very nice experience. I gave food 5 stars because I have been to cuba before and I know how the food is. This hotel did a great job on food options and prep.

Valentin El Patriarca Varadero: Good times!!!!

Privilege is the way to go! We stayed here before COVID and this is my 5th time staying at this resort and the first time under the new ownership Valentin El Patriarca. The Island is still recovering from COVID but the people are friendly and helpful. The food was plentiful and tasty. Better than I remembered. The resort grounds are well groomed. The beach was fabulous. The rooms were ok. One of our party did not get water for 4 days and one had to move rooms because of bugs but they were most accommodating and upgraded her to a suite. Iberostar Origin Bella Vista Varadero: Looks nice on pictures

Nice: beach and seawater Main restaurant: Serious health issues handling food. Small in size for number of guests. Shortage of food and western drinks (no Gin/Tonic, Black Russian, Mojito available). Overcrowded beach, not enough beach chairs. cannot find chair after 7:30am Snack bar - missed orders multiple times, unfriendly senior worker. Lobby bar - service is good (mostly Cuban and Russian spirits) Beach and pool bar - service is good. Pool - OK Shows - average (Rock, Cuban, [... read more] M. Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Animation formidable

Animation parfaite. Service très bien. Juste les chambres ne sont pas rénovés. La. Douche était très mauvaise. L' eau du toilette ne fonctionnait pas. Boissons non disponible comme sprite. La toilette donné pour le bain dernière journée n était pas servi des serviettes.

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Good resort

Clean resort, quit old one, the stuff are amazing, many things missed, like lemon and lime and sprite drink, the beach are amazing, need more activities at the beach, the entertainers are pro.its a good resort for who wanna pay less than 1000$/ person.

Resonance Blu Varadero: Very bad hotel

We’re should I start no food they ran out of food and pop daily food was cold and tasted like garbage I preordered a room on the second or 3 floor when I got there they gave me a ground floor …. Omg the rooms r dirty they smell like mold the cockroaches are out of this world overall a bad resort to go to !!!!!!!!
