Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Awesome resort!

Stayed at this resort June 25 to July 2. We are a group of 8 and we truly enjoyed our stay. Grand Bahia Coba did not disappoint us at all. The food is excellent. The rooms are big enough and not dated. The whole resort ground are well kept. We have access to the other Grand Bahia resorts and we are just impressed! The only downside is the beach which there was a lot of sea weed. I am still giving them 10/10 because this is not the resort's fault.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great resort for vacation

It's a very nice place for a vacation for the whole family. People are very friendly and polite. Clean environment to stay . Foods were very good. You will be treated like a king and queen. We had a great holiday.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Truly a AMAZING resort

The resort was luxurys and very clean, the employer were super social. I had the time of my life and will deffenately be back again. They was zero problem and I was amazed by how perfect my trip was . I highly recommend it .

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Great Resort

This resort was awesome. The ability to go to the other resorts was great to change things up from time to time. Awesome night life at the Hacienda. Worst part of the resort was the service booking a la carte restaurant. They tell you there is no availability and there are always multiple empty tables. They are rude about their lack of availability and make no attempts to accommodate. I would say make sure to book the day you arrive however that is what we did and were given 1030pm times. Some r [... read more]estaurants (the Brazillian and Tepanyaki, we couldnt even get into at all). We did keep going back every day to check for cancelations and managed better times that way. The service in the restaurants was really good.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Tropical jungle setting hotel with great food

Great food, buffets and a la cartes were terrific! Rooms were clean, not luxury but our junior superior suite was large with king bed. Pools were nice, we preferred the Alux pool but people get up early to reserve loungers (6:30 am!! they start to reserve loungers). Shuttle to the beach and other resorts run often. Beach nice with lots of fish! Sian Kaan is a quiet resort so if you're looking for excitement you'll have to visit the other BP resorts by shuttle. Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: not what I expected.

I thought the staff were very rude, the kids had nothing to do, once you tip you never see the staff member again, no towels, the staff are always fighting eachother and when you ask for a drink, most of the time you don't see them. You get no cutlery for the kids and spoons are very seldom.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great family resort

This resorts was amazing, the hotel is beautiful, the kids club and the water park for the kids was incredible, the pools were spectacular and always clean, the customer service and the attention to the details were excellent.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Fabulous first trip to Mexico

I went to the Gran Bahia Principe Tulum at Riviera Maya with my 6 year old daughter. It was our very first experience in an all-inclusive resort. We both loved the always clean rooms, and friendly staff. Everybody seemed happy to help us find what we were looking for. Because there was tons of algae on the beach, we did not spend a lot of time at the Tulum beach; we visited the Akumal beach instead. My daughter ADORED the kids' pool at Coba as well as the kids' buffet selection. After a week, I  [... read more]got a bit tired of the buffet, but the food was always good. We did the dolphin swim which my daughter still talks about. The only negative was the massive amounts of mosquitos that ate us alive in the evenings and after the rain showers. Everyone on the resort has dozens of bites everywhere, and my bug repellent never seemed to work well enough. Aside from that, it was an unforgettable experience.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Very disappointing!

Pros: weather, adult only portion, no issues getting a sun lounger by the pool Cons: food was bad and we are still sick, bed hard as a rock, room cleaning hardly done, can't flush toilet paper, mini bar in room barely stocked, issues with the patio door not locking, poor service overall, restaurants requiring reservations were terrible, service unhelpful, an hour late on the flight going down and coming home, airport in dominican very unorganized, tranfer to and from the hotel a joke - late bot [... read more]h ways, everyone expecting a tip, another group had bedbugs and clinic said it was mosquito bites - mosquitos don't bite in a line, tons of seaweed on the beach - on the sand and in the water.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great family resort!

Lots of options: beautiful pools, beach not so much. Service & food very good. Loved the nature with friendly birds, iguanas and so on. Tulum is alive at Xel-Ha tour was one of the best tour we had so far.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: grand bahai principe esmeralda ---only place to go

This was a fab vacation. We have never been pampered by the staff the way we were at this hotel. The grounds were incredible Food and service were outstanding and all i have to say is when can we go back.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: fabulous resort

5 star resort been there many times tried all the other chains but my favorite is this one. Has hard working staff, super clean food is excellent stay here you will be in great hands. Also has triips to town has a disco and entertainment micael jackson show was my fave.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Great resort for your budget

Our suite was nice and clean, quite big for a junior suite. Food was great, menu was changed everyday, plenty of selection. Beach was great if you'll go to the Akumal section. Staff was always nice and friendly. Will go back to this resort again.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Excellent Resort

-Great Hotel, excellent room service -Room was being painted and smelled like paint upon arrival -Beach was not quite the greatest becasue of the sea weed -nighlty entertainment was lacking -DO NOT GO TO THE 60 min time share presentation. -You will get hounded for tipping the staff and/or locals for pretty much anything -keep an eye on your money in the safe, we seem to have lost 70 dollars and our other freinds seem to have lost over a hundred

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: The best place.

Everything running good, the only problem is the shower door, they have to fixed. because all water coming out and it is dangerous. I am happy wirh al service people, they are frienly and the place is very clean, good food.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Exerent for Adult only Hotel,

We, mi wife and myself have stayed one week period of June 18 to June 25. As you expected areas specified in all aspect of your hotel, Our general impression to your hotel has " Exerent in most categories " But some defect must be stated here fierst thing was weel pool has not cleaned and sanitation completely, we have notised black color from weel pool injectors and I have some kind of virus infected, fortunately I have brought antibiotics tablets and some ointment tube used as emergency treatm [... read more]et done. second thing was one night at Don pablo restaurant I ordered beef steak but I could not be eaten because my judgement of quality was one of the lowest quality please review them if you find out anythings might be improved. Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Excellent Vacation!

It was our first time in Punta Cana. We had a fantastic experience at the Bahia Principe Ambar resort. Everything was exceptional, our room was beautiful, the food was great and the staff was very friendly. The only thing that could be improved is the organization of the trolly cart that you take to the Ambar from the main lobby. Other than that, it was a beautiful resort, beautiful beach, and a fantastic vacation! :)

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Beautiful and friendly!

The resort is huge and has every service you could want! Seaweed is an issue on the beach so if you like calm and clean, better to stay at Akumal where it is calmer. It's the worst at the Coba beach. Pools are delightful and always activities and music. Never an issue getting chairs but folks do save them early even though they aren't supposed to. We never did and always found a spot on the fringe between ocean and pool right where our kids could go back and forth. As for restaurants... Book the [... read more] moment you get there and have your choices written out with a general time frame.... Then tip the person you give the list to and magically we got all our choices and times! Sebastian at the Diamond Lobby was thoughtful, organized and very friendly throughout our stay. We weren't thrilled with Pescador or Oasis and enjoyed Tequila, Le Gourmet and Mikado (show table) the most. Also did Gran Tortuga, Mediterrano and another one I can't remember.... They were all fine. Buffets were excellent! Loved the Diamond uncrowded breakfast and lunch. Found main buffet at Tulum much calmer and much better selection than Coba where herds of people shuffled about trying to elbow their way to French fries.... Lots more little kids on Coba side. My 9 year old spent two days at the kids club on Tulum and LOVED Julia! It was a bit young for my 12 year old. BIG hint of the whole trip.... WALKIE TALKIES! We had four and each had one all the time (except when swimming!) which enabled us much more freedom. Lots of folks were envious! Other tips.... Don't waste your money on Xel-Ha ( most expensive lazy river ride ever and not worth the hundreds we spent.... Though the dolphin experience here was fantastic) turtle snorkel "tour" (go yourself! It's beautiful and you can avoid crowds and go at your own pace) or bother with Playa del Carmen... all the stores have the same stuff that they do at the hacienda. And buy your booze at the airport - great deals at duty free. Oh, and bring your own snorkel and mask and water shoes, too. Tip your maid every day (Maria!) and the mini bar guy. We were in room 4526 in .diamond (upgrade! Just do it!) and it was wonderful.... Third floor right beside the private lobby and trolley to everywhere. Oh... And golf was hot, buggy and a rip off. While it was beautiful and supposedly included, it was the most expensive 9 holes we have ever played after cart, clubs and balls! Oh, and bring bug spray! The first week there were none at all and the second week they were crazy. Bug spray helped a lot! Okay.... That's all except a special mention to Kevin at front desk.... Helpful, friendly, solution oriented and efficient. And Ursula at the bar was tremendous! Beautiful person! Oh, and Jonathan the scuba master at the Diamond Pool! Ooh.... Do the Mexican fiesta night.... Games, bull, show, piñata.... Fun. Okay, now go have fun!

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Almost three in one.....

Very well kept, huge but accessible.free 60 minutes wifi at the lobby which is very neat. Only problem encountered when we check out the guy did not give me my check out ticket even though I reminded him he said I'm all clear not until I was about to take the shuttle to the airport I was asked for the check out ticket and so I have to run back to the check out counter. Other than that so far its good.

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Amazing Resort!!

We chose this resort because there was snorkeling right in front of the resort. It was amazing!! We advised the hotel my husband has limited mobility as he cannot stand or walk for more than 5 minutes and they gave us a suite very close to the lobby. It was perfect. Everything at the resort was super clean...service was amazing. Food was great! Loved every minute...we will be back. Thank you!!
