Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Overall good holiday
Just returned from a week at Akumal. Most of the staff are very good and happy to help as needed. Butler staff, especially Erik, were excellent. They were extremely helpful and made the experience a positive one. We travelled with a large group and had trouble being seated at one table. Would not ever recommend the Wedding planner at this resort. Often had to send many many emails for her to answer our questions before the wedding and once we got there she was not around to be helpful.
Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Amazing Resort!
Hotel grounds were extremely clean. Food and bars was awesome and fully stocked. Employees, bartenders were awesome as well and very friendly. There was no restrictions on how many a Al carte resturants you could eat at even though all tour resorts books told you 3. Be careful on paying for upgrades ahead of time for additional a al carte. Beach was good, pool was as well but busy.
Hotel Xcaret Mexico: Great family vacation
The resort was beautiful and staff were friendly. Even at full capacity, it did not feel crowded at all. Multiple heated pools throughout the property and lots of restaurants to choose from. The scenery of this resort is incredible. And you have the option to visit so many amazing parks at no additional cost (including xcaret, xplor, xenses, xel ha, xenotes, and more!) The beach is small, but still amazing! Book this resort, you won’t be disappointed.
Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Great Resort
The beach was beautiful. The food was ok.. always an assortment. We were with a large group and they messed up our rooms. Overall very clean. The resort was very far from the airport. Everything that you needed was at Akumal but wish that the shuttles were more available so that you could travel between resorts quicker and easier.
Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Wonderful Resort
We had a great time! The grounds were very well kept, a couple small issues with our room but they quickly addressed them. The service & people were amazing! Would Definitely recommend the resort! ðŸ‘
Allegro Playacar: Great resort
The grounds were very well maintained. Plants looked healthy, grass watered. Our hotel room was also very clean and the staff that cleaned were very friendly. We appreciated the two different pools. At times one would be used for games and party so it was nice to have the option of a quiet swim. The buffet had a good selection but lacked consistent hot temperatures. We noticed with the exception of the Mexican reserved dinner (beef tenderloin) that meat tended to be on the chewy si [... read more]
Catalonia Yucatan: amazing resort
It get's better every year, planning already to return next winter. Staff makes the stay remarkable, they go out of their way to make you feel more than welcome. Would recommend it to all or friends and family.
Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Amazing resort
The resort was amazing all the staff were friendly and helpful. We found they all went out of their way to cater to us and we're very attentive to all the children in our group. Food was good with a nice variety. Rooms were comfortable and spacious and very clean. Only flaw is pool deck was slippery.
Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Sian Ka'an
We had a wonderful time in this adult only, luxury resort. Sian Ka'an is part of the overall Bahia Principe resort complex and you have access to all of the resorts, restaurants and bars. Sin Ka'an is a private oasis built into the Mexican forest, you have access to the private beach via a short ride on a golf cart type trolley. Championship 18 hole and executive 9 hole golf courses on site.
Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: Amazing resort!
The resort was beautiful. Lot's of wildlife. Multiple pools and a water park. Staff were fantastic and really great with my kids. Food was good. Would definitely go back. Beach was nice but swimming area was rocky.
Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya
Location is convenient, 25 min from airport Grounds immaculate No bracelets, and unlimited restaurant dining without reservations Food and drinks very good Main pool and quiet lazy river pool amazing Beach well maintained daily to remove seaweed. Don Miguel's bar a must with the dry ice martinis Rooms clean and well appointed with wifi speakers in ceiling. Mini bar well stocked and even had chips. Adults only resort Overall excellent and would return
Grand Sunset Princess: Very Good Resort
The buildings and grounds were very clean and well maintained. We found the staff to be very friendly and courteous at all times. The food in all restaurants was very good. The Entertainment throughout the week was excellent.
Reef Club Playacar Beach: VERY GOOD TIME
This hotel was just great. We loved the size(not huge) and the fact that the front desk Rosa gave us a room close to the pool/beach. The room was small for 3 people and we had no hot water in shower for 3 days, also with no pressure. They made the water a bit warmer. My girls could not wash their hair for a few days. Because of high capacity of guests moving our room did not happen. Every thing else was fine. The food was amazing, pools nice temperature, ocean very lovely, sandy bottom is a pl [... read more]
Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Phenomenal Resort
We liked everything about this resort, great location, staff was excellent, food was awesome, lots of things to do, spa was amazing, rooms were clean and up to date. We would definitely go back, and hopefully will soon.
El Dorado Royale: Not bad, not perfect
The hotel is great. The service is also great but the beach is the worst thing for this hotel. Also, we got there for the food (apparently) it was a great place for the food - Culinary experience. Well, I'm not saying it wasn't good but not much restaurant where we could say WOW WOW WOW ! So the culinary experience is what I would called an ordinary food experience. To finish, another thing that is not great is the fact that you keep waiting for the restaurant all the time. Because there is no r [... read more]
Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun: Activities Galore.
The beach is the nicest we have seen in Mexico and the hotel went over and above to deal with the seaweed. Hotel is awesome. Some furniture was dated but clean. Activities staff were always doing something and the wifi schedule and printed schedule allowed you to plan your days. No reservations at the a la cartes was positive, never a line up. Food was excellent. Management planned meal time entertainment several times and had a good variety of entertainment for everyone. Just little things [... read more]
Iberostar Selection Paraiso Lindo: Lovely
Beautiful and manicured. So many pools and choice of food. Something for everyone. Most service is on par. Buffet service could be more consistent. Rooms are clean and serviced appropriately. Very large so you’ll want to take advantage of the golf carts Nd trolley when you get a chance.
Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: A peaceful paradise
We enjoyed this resort Staff was professional Nice to see the natural trees throughout Well taken care of, very clean. Overall very happy with resort. The trees gave shade on the hot days. Liked that we could use the ammenities at the partnering resorts (Akumal, Cuba and Tulum), such as the infinity pool. We enjoyed that the resort was adults only. The setting of the natural trees, birds chirped and being an adult only resort made it a peaceful place to stay for a week. As non-smokers, [... read more]
Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: A less than perfect resort
Pros are that the grounds are beautiful, the room was nice and the staff were very friendly. Cons are the best seating in the restaurants (outside) was reserved for smokers, the coffee was terrible, the best cabanas are available only for an extra cost ($130 usd per day), the food was very fancy and the portions in the alacarte restaurants were small and the buffet restaurant was not available at dinner. We often had to wait to be seated at the buffets even though there were lots of tables av [... read more]
Hyatt Vivid Playa Del Carmen: Beautiful Well Kept Resort
We recently stayed at The Royal Playa Del Carmen. It was a breath taking resort, beautiful grounds which were excellently manicured and the employees were the best I have ever experienced and friendly and respectful. You were greeted every day and at any moment you met with a staff member or walked by one in passing with hand over their heart (literally) and a hello or good morning or good evening. Hector, who obtained our baggage for us was a great man who assisted us not only with our bagga [... read more]
