Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Grand Bahai Tulum

At the Grand Bahai they know how to take care of guests. Excellent service, rooms, grounds and pools, friendly staff and great food. This was our second visit and we came back because of the great experience the first time.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Awesome resort ! Amazing service!!

This resort was fantastic!... The room and facilities were beautiful and immaculate ... The beach was filled with seaweed which couldn't be helped due to Mother Nature but the staff worked hard all day to clean it up .... I would highly recommend!

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Second time there!

Hotel has not changed physically over the past two years. Was disappointed as when we arrived we thought we had the same package and inclusions as our last trip but came to find out that was not the case. Had to pay to upgrade to our desired package upon arrival. Food was okay but feel like it may be slipping a bit. Wether once again in Jamaica was phenomenal and if you do go you must go to the luxury adult only as it is really te only way to enjoy the resort to its fullest.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Underwhelming Resort

When we walked into this resort, our jaws dropped to the floor. However, our experiences afterwards were disappointing to say the least. We arrived early at the resort (around 1 pm), however we were not allowed to check in to our room, book any excursions or dinner reservations or take out our swim suit from our luggages UNTIL seconds before 3 pm (which is when we were allowed to check in to our rooms). The rooms looked like motel rooms... with the stained furniture and lamps, I did not feel like I was on vacation. This was a girls trip and our rooms were right next to the kids pool which was very disappointing as we had to travel to the Tulum (which was approximately 10-15 minutes by through their trolley guys) every day to enjoy our time with some younger adults instead of a bunch of kids and families. The Coba resort was verrry far from the beach...which was sad until we got to the beach which was COVERED in seaweed. Literally half the water and sand were covered in seaweed. I'm not even over exaggerating. On our last day though, they were cleaning up the seaweed with huge tractors. This was a HUGE resort and there were lot's of things going on but we didn't know ANYTHING unless some entertainment staff we befriended told us. Very poor organization. The resort was very disappointing but our experience with the amazing excursions, Playa Del Carmen and COCO BONGO were some of the BEST times of our life! :)

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great Resort

Overall the Gran Bahia Principe was a great place to vacation with the Family. Food and People there are amazing. Rooms are very clean but in need of some updating. The Grill and The Mikado are very good restaurants, the Italian which I was looking forward to the most was not good I would pick another one over this. Overall great first trip Jamaica and I would go back to this resort again.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Good trip

If you don't mind walking aprox. 10 mins to the nicer beach area, then this place is for you. The food was great, service is great. The liquor is watered down, with no blenders for the bartenders to make specialized drinks. Internet is slow with 1 hour of free service per day.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Amazing Resort

Very good resort, clean, friendly staff, good food, alot of activities, nice rooms and very good service. it was great experience. i would recommend this to friends and family and may visit again soon

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Very nice familly hotel

Rooms: Very nice rooms, well kept, all white wich is pleasing to the eye. Air conditionning works well. We had a little trouble with the air dryer wich was corrected wright away.Towels changed everyday. Dining: Food was very good. Service was fine no problem. The italian restaurant and the garden grill was to our liking. Bathing: They have 3 pools. 1 small one for children, 1 big one for the children and their parents and 1 big one for adluts only. In general we loved our stay at the Bahia and we would return gladly.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Fantastic Resort

This is an amazing hotel Very friendly staff, the food was great, there were a lot of choices. The A'lactate has a very nice ambiance. The entertainment was good I enjoyed every minute of it. The ground is beautiful and the welcome on arrival was special. My only negative review is on housekeeping. One say we had no change of towels, the next say no face cloth or shower gel. Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Great for Family

Overall, the resort was nice. One of the closest complex to the beach. It is great for family as it wasn't as loud or rowdy compared to other parts of the resort. Buffet was better than the a la carte unfortunately.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great Value

This was our 2nd visit to this resort in a year. Overall it was a fantastic trip. The resort is huge but well laid out and easy to get around. It was very clean and well maintained although starting to look a big worn in spots. The food was great with lots of selections at the buffets. We really enjoyed the smaller adults only Palmyra buffet for breakfast every morning. The beach restaurant was also awesome with the best jerk chicken I've ever had. We loved all of them and actually cancelled our reservation at the Picasso so we could go back to the Don Pablo!! The pool is huge and very clean. There are lots of shade palapas but we still had go down every morning before 7 to reserve one with our towels otherwise the only loungers available were in the sun. The portion of the pool closest to the lobby was party/play central with lots of activities and music. Closer to the other end is much quieter and faster service at the pool bar. The beach was great, we went as far as you could go as it was the quietest with a bar and bathroom nearby. We only went to 1 show at the square (they have one every night at 9:45). It was a bit cheesy but entertaining. Missed the Michael Jackson show on Sunday but heard it was great. No problems with maid service or lack of clean towels....all was good there. Asked at the lobby that they replace our clock because it kept losing time but nobody ever came. Also had a call one morning offering us breakfast in bed because "we were special" so we ordered and were told it would be there shortly. 90 min later nothing so we called room service and they had no idea what we were talking about. Frustrated and hungry we went to the buffet! Service for the most part was just alright. Not a true 5 star in that capacity, just too slow (even for Jamaica) and unreliable. The staff was quite friendly though and we always felt welcomed. Overall it's a great value for the money spent. We will return again someday I'm sure but not for few years because there are other resorts we want to try out.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Horrible room customer service.

Starting off with the positive aspect of this resort; the staff was terrific they always greeted us warmly since we were there for my brothers wedding (which was beautiful). We met a baby sitter, named Yelena I believe, who took care of my niece and even decorated my brother in law's room for his birthday! The major complaint I had, which certainly ruined the rest of out stay, was the customer service (or lack thereof). We came back to our rooms after a night at the disco (third day in) and as  [... read more]we go to take showers the water completely stops so we called guest services to get it fixed. 2 hours later, it turns on and when it does a foul sewage smell was coming out of the bathtub. We called guest services again the next day because we couldn't stand the smell and it took them 2.5 hours for someone to come in, they sent someone to pour fragrance down the tub and spray cologne all over the room. This made it smell incredibly worse since the smell was still there. I repeatedly told them that the smell was coming due to the water draining from the pipe that needs to be injected back in. I filled up the tub in order to stop the smell. Another 3 hours later I was able to speak to the manager who told me the solution "wasn't that easy" when it was. After complaining further she sent someone to fix it (IT ONLY TOOK THEM 20 MIN TO FIX). We recieved no compensation for this until we went to guest services and they gave us a bottle of rum... Which was no where near what we deserved for a whole day wasted battling this smell. It is very unfortunate to have experienced this because the rest of the resort and trip was delightful. I would strongly suggest Esmeralda updates their customer service protocol. Because if you ever run into any problems regarding your room, good luck.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Excellent Stay

We spent 1 week at Bahia Principe Coba and loved our stay! From our arrival where check in went smoothly and our king size spacious room was kept clean every day! The staff is just wonderful and helpful at all times! The food was super yummy.......do not acknowledge anyone who complains! There is something for everyone and then some! the ground are immaculate, pool areas fun for everyone and I loved the beach! Definitely recommend this to everyone thinking of a family vacation!

The food was not the greatest seem to be left overs from the day or two before, the room was not what we booked but did move us the next day, room looked slapped together, tv some time works, overall not great

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Great Times!

Beautiful hotel! Loved the adults only. Great service, clean facility and good food. Would have liked more activity and music around the Ambar 1 pool during the day. It was a little dead. The entertainment is geared towards an older crowd than my husband and I in our thirties. Overall wonderful vacation and would definitely return.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Beautiful resort, excellent service!

The room was very spacious and cleaned twice a day, the food was excellent (several restaurants and buffets available), and the staff were amazing! All in all, a wonderful stay at Ambar. Highly recommend!

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Amazing service

We stayed at this resort for seven night. Resort is very clean. Nicely land scared . Food was excellent in all restaurants and buffet. Rooms are very clean and big and we had the suite with jaccusi on the terrace.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: awesome resort

It was a wonderful experience the food was delicious , the service excellent the people were friendly and helpful, the rooms were very comfortable. Would go back in a flash .I will definitely tell my friends and family.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Beyond expectations

I enjoyed every minute of it. Great food, awesome people and never a dull moment. A bit of algaes at the beach but the workers worked to remove it. Animation team were always fun. The staff always went the extra mile to make us comfortable. Going back in a few years!!

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Perfect for teh family

The hotel was big but never over crowded. The beaches were great and the best part was the snorkelling was fantastic. Perfect conditions for kids to snorkel in a safe bay. Rooms were great. Tennis courts were good too and you could get private lessons if you wanted.
