Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Awesome Resort

Great resort. Pablo, Alehandra and Johnson at the lobby bar are the best. Make you family. The layout of the resort, distance from the airport, internet throughout the resort, amazing staff, excellent food with unlimited ala cart restaurants which you do not have to reserve and clean rooms are all great options that are not offered at many resorts. We would return again ☺☺

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Disappointed this year!

Had a great stay last year! This year we stayed for 2 weeks. However, the service at the buffet was hit and miss and service at the restaurant beside the pool was terrible. The waiters would rather stand around and talk than look after you!! Specialty restaurants were excellent. I got sick from the food twice. Both times from eating at the buffet. For sure the second time was from eating mussels. Turns out it was also our last night which made for a poor trip flying home!

Selection Riviera Cancun: A Beautiful Resort

We booked this trip to Azul for our 25th anniversary and it was wonderful. We have never been at an all-inclusive resort, so we can't compare, but other travellers were saying it was one of the best they have stayed at. The food was excellent with so many choices and restaurants. The serving staff was fast, hard working and kind. Thank you for your kindness and remembering our favourite drinks, Wendy, the pool drink server. Our room was always clean with surprise dessert treats and towel art! The nightly entertainment was always high quality and fun. The pools were huge and clean. The beach had a lot of seaweed which they have tried to clean endlessly. The resort grounds is beautiful to look at. Transportation was easy and 20 minutes from the airport. Did not enjoy the segregation of prestige members area where we were not allowed to sit. Also it was annoying to see a full practice of claiming a space with towels without being in the cabanas and lounge chairs. The weather was sunny for 7 days but surprisingly windy.

Dreams Tulum Resort and Spa: Fun in the Sun

This is a lovely resort. The staff, grounds, food, service and facilities are all excellent. They cater to families and children. If you prefer a quiet, adult atmosphere you should choose a different resort. Unfortunately there was a lot of seaweed during our stay but they did their best to cope with the problem. All in all, we had a great time in the sun and enjoyed the Mexican people and culture.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Stinky bedsheets and one man show!

I do not know why but the bed sheets had a very bad smell EVERY single day - whether it was the water, detergent, or reused sheets - the smell would not go away.! Everyone seemed to hover around the pool area and there is ONE guy who would appear/lead entertainment activities every single day. It was like a one man show and tbh, you would get bored and annoyed by him starting day 2. They need to up recruit more people in their entertainment team!

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Great resort

Beautiful resort with a large beautiful beach (but ugly ocean with lots of seaweed), beautiful pools, and friendly staff. In the past I have traveled south in the off season and noticed this time around that service is more hit and miss during peak season (we stayed march 19-26th) and there is more coveting of pool loungers and bali beds in the high season. The hotel has a no reserving policy for beach/pool chairs but do only enforce the rule sporadically (towels were removed by hotel staff at o [... read more]ur favorite pool only 1 of 7 days). This caused frustrations for everyone - those who had reserved chairs to find their stuff moved on only one day as well as those of us who would like to see the rules enforced.... Food is excellent here. I have visited this resort 3 times in the past 3 years and would happily come back again in the future.

Platinum Yucatan Princess: Great Resort

Very well maintained clean resort. Food good. Service excellent. Beach well equipped for sunbathing but previous storm had eroded the sand along waters edge making entrance to swim difficult. Only difficulty was the flight home which was cancelled after several delays. Delays and cancellations are unavoidable but getting information on tha status of the flight was almost impossible. Not knowing what's going on is very irritating.

Dreams Aventuras Riviera Maya: Perfect resort!

The resort is smaller than we have previously stayed in but was perfect for us. One of our party has difficulty walking long distances but this resort is well laid out and distances to the beach and restaurants were just right. Food at the buffet and the specialty restaurants was very good and the service excellent. The beach accumulated seaweed in the first few days (not the resorts fault) but the staff worked diligently and soon had it under control. Dreams Tulum Resort and Spa: Pretty Good

- great for families with kids under 8 - very remote -there is not much to do at night -we had cockroaches in our room -saw snakes and other critters -great food -there is very little entertainment during the day compared to other Dreams properties -There are photographers CONSTANTLY taking your pictures. It made us very uncomfortable and we had to repeatedly say no to them. - If you have allergies; they will take great care of you. -

Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya: Hard Rock is LEGENDARY

From start to finish the whole week we spent at hard rock was absolutely amazing. Food was spectacular, pools were clean we never had a problem finding a towel or someone to get us a drink. We enjoyed the daily activities that were throughout the resort. Kids club provided tons of fun for our eight-year-old. Rooms are nice clean and have everything you need. Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Wonderful hotel

The hotel was beautiful. We loved the service we received. The food was amazing, the other hotels were also beautiful. The beach was lovely we enjoyed it very much. Our initial room overlooked some area that had trash in it from the workers work station but they moved us when I asked to another room.

JOIA Paraiso by Iberostar: Very clean, relaxing vacation

All of the staff would acknowledge with a pleasant Ola and there was always some cleaning of windows, floors, bathrooms in common areas, pool area. The rooms were generous in size and the turndown service at night was always a pleasant refresh of the room. We would return again. All 3 pool choices had something to offer every day. Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Good Resort

Overall this is a good resort. large buffet, lots of al a cartes, lots of pool areas, it has a fantastic lazy river. The shuttles around are non-existent but the hotel is currently working on fixing that - so it should improve. Beach is not the best but the snorkling is excellent. Conceirge and front desk help is one of the best I've had at any resort. Rooms are great. Any problems and there right on top of it to fix. entertainment was great. El Dorado Royale: Perfect vacation!

Amazing resort with superb service! we were welcomed anywhere we visited in the resort. It is a relatively big resort but it's easy to go around with the great shuttle service they have. Their great food quality and variety was definitely the highlight of our trip!

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: As described

Overall, our stay @ BBGE was enjoyable! We traveled with our 6 month old, so we were quite easy going. The resort itself is HUGE. Bring your walking shoes! The staff were always friendly and willing to let us hitch a ride on their golf cart if there was extra room (in lieu of waiting for the official 'bus'...which we seemed to always miss!) The beach was unfortunately quite poor. While it's a beach front property, it's full of washed up debris. The food was good, no real qualms there. Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Beautiful!!

Chose this hotel for a special anniversary trip after much research and recommendations from a friend. Upon arrival we quickly realized that the many, many, many return guests were telling the truth, the Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya is AMAZING!! Accommodations; we loved our swim-up room in building 7, close to restaurants and the beach and our preferred location at the quieter “lazy river”. Plenty of spots to enjoy sun and shade. The grounds of the resort were clean and well-manicured and we both remarked on the extra details in the landscaping and facilities, which put this resort a step or two above others we have enjoyed. Service; top-notch in every way. Maria at the lazy river was attentive and efficient and went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. All of the waiters were wonderful, but Maria stood out!! The maître d’s at the restaurants were excellent and we rarely waited more than a few minutes for a table. We were a little perturbed by the wait for the breakfast and lunch buffets in the Marche and Beachside restaurant; it wasn’t excessive, it just didn’t make sense with so many empty tables available. I would suggest having at least one more hostess to assist with seating. Food; in a word Awesome! Buffet breakfasts and lunches were varied and delicious. We enjoyed room service breakfasts as well. We preferred the Indonesian Restaurabt above all, but every restaurant meal was delicious and plentiful. We especially enjoyed the Hibachi experience; Enrique was quite funny and talented. Shows; we didn’t see all of the shows but we enjoyed the Fire show and the Magician most of all. Highly recommend both! Like many others, we hope to return soon, for an entertaining and relaxing vacation. P.S. the special dessert and bottle of bubbly for our Anniversary was a wonderful surprise.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Nice Resort

The hotel was clean and nice. The staff was great although it was hard to speak to the workers as the Language barrier was hard. Being so close to Tulum allowed us to do great tours 10 minutes away!! We would go back again.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Luxury Bahia Principe Akumal

My husband and I had a great stay. Very beautiful, clean and the food was fantastic. Very good evening entertainment. My only complaint could be the long waits to get drinks but next to that everything was perfect. We would definitely go back.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Love this place!

This was our third time to Akumal, having stayed once at GBP Tulum, so 4 trips total. We really like that we know our way around, know where the best restaurants are and have our favorite spot by the pool. Everything is always well tended and clean, and all the staff are always so friendly. Because it is the "Luxury" level, you get unlimited a la carte reservations, which we always take advantage of - 7 wonderful meals! Some of the rooms are starting to show some wear, which isn't a big deal, considering how little time you spend there, but they should start some restoration work, or the "luxury" feel will start to slip. Ocean Riviera Paradise: Amazing resort

Beautiful resort with awesome water park and great food. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms are amazing. Privlege upgrade with two story roof top ocean view Georgous and the butler service a nice touch.
