Riu Palace Paradise Island: Warm and friendly staff

The rooms definitely needed upgrading but were clean and the hotel waiters and waitresses were so attentive and efficient, they have a lot of vacationers and had a short period to keep their tables clean for the next people eating, very impressed. Great variety of foods for all types of eaters and very tasty The beach was gorgeous, clean and inviting, a little to tidal for a non-swimmer but great for swimmers and snorkelers alike. The Royal at Atlantis: Trip of a Lifetime!

We have been to Atlantis several times, and every time we go, I have that "pinch me" feeling. The grounds, the food, the atmosphere, is all top notch. There is so much to do, the kids are always entertained, and are able to take part in activities such as getting in the water with sting rays, and small sharks to feed them. I cannot say enough good about this resort, just amazing, and keeps getting better.

Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: Definitely a 3 Star Resort

The grounds were well kept considering they had a hurricane last fall. Service at this hotel is lacking. The staff that worked in the buffet clearing tables and putting down new place settings were very slow. At one time my husband and I did 2 laps of the entire seating area trying to find a table that had cutlery and napkins and no dirty dishes on them. Over half of the seating area was dirty. Staff truly don't seem to care if they see you happy or not. Sad thing is we were 4 in line and it took an hour to get to the front desk. Food was not kept hot no matter what time you got to the buffet. They don't seem to have ways of keeping the dishes warm. Sad but true. Entertainment was very good. Beach was lovely and worth all the rest. Rooms were outdated and showed it.

Breezes Bahamas: Good value and basic resort in a great location

This is a compact resort on Cable beach. It provides all the expected amenities and the food and drinks are excellent. The staff are very attentive and pleasant. The rooms are clean and well appointed, but lack a fridge unless you are willing to pay extra. Check in was painless and no extra charges were levied. The wifi was a little temperamental at times.

Breezes Bahamas: Amazing Resort

Very beautiful view of the ocean. Great entertainment, easy to get around and friendly service. Enjoyed talking to the staff and learning about the resort. Would like to go back to Breezes as you get a little bit of both beach and pool.

Breezes Bahamas: Amazing Resort and The Staff Were Great!

We stayed at the Breezes for one week , all inclusive. Located in Nassau, Bahamas. The staff were prompt to any request and made you feel special. Located along the ocean. Lots of entertainment, eatery options, close to downtown Nassau. Great bus service to down town. A jitney bus costs $1.25 each. Would definitely go back again and highly recommend the place. I

Breezes Bahamas: Really fun resort!

Our 4 night stay at the Breezes was so much fun. The staff and the guests were so friendly and inviting. The evening activities were always fun. The food was tasty and fresh and the al a carte dinners were delicious with wonderful service! The beach was beautiful. The room was clean and well maintained although the finishes were a little dated. Would love to bring my adult children next time as the resort was very well suited to them. Lots of wonderful Candians too! Go Blue Jays!

The Royal at Atlantis: Great Trip

This resort was everything that we expected. Very nice. The only negative thing was that We found some of the female employee's were not as friendly as you would expect. Food was great lots of choices for all budgets. Beach was very nice, water park was very good, you were never bored lots to do.

Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: Poorly Run Resort

The Good: Beautiful beach Clean resort Plenty of beach chair Room kept clean Drinks and beer were good(Heineken on tap) Dive shop was great Diving was excellent Staff were great The Bad: Buffet was Terrible, Cold food, a lot of the same thing ever day, not very tasty food, pop was flat, You had to buy drinking water, no pepper on table at buffet, no straws at b [... read more]ars, extras were expensive eg, $15 US one way to market (5 min away). Rooms are small. For the money Ive been to a lot better 3 stars than this in different countries.

Breezes Bahamas: Wonderful Resort!

The Breezes is an excellent resort. The rooms were clean, the staff was very friendly and went out of their way to help you out. The food was plentiful and very good. I'm a retired cook so I know what it is like to put on a buffett that size. There was lots of activities to do if you chose to or just sit on the beach. We took a water taxi to Paradise Island and we were told about the history of the Island as we made our way over. I would stay at the Breezes again. I would love to come back right away! The weather was perfect, not too hot or humid. The Bahamians are very fortunate to have this weather year round, even the hurricanes are no big deal to some of them that we were talking to..

Breezes Bahamas: Amazing Place our second home

We love the Breezes its our second home we have been there 4 times now and find service amazing. Thanks to Lakisha,Chantal,Quisha,Jarvis your family and make sure everything is perfect. My only complaint was as a return guest you are invited to a special dinner on which we found our invitation in the hallway and missed out on the invite. I always request oceanfront ground floor found out this yr it has changed and was now beachfront and had to cancel and re book which caused a few problems after speaking with breezes directly. My sister and I find the resort over all safe for women to travel to safe to take the bus for $1.25 downtown to straw market . If your looking for relaxing time in the sun with good service and food try it out ! Also thanks to Julie the travel agent from trip central for taking the time to correct booking to make sure we had our beachfront !

Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: Not bad.

Great beach. Great food. The employees that liked their job were great. A few didn't like theirs so much. We asked for no kid zone and were stuck in the back 40 where it hasn't been renovated like the ones up front that we found about 5 days into our vacation and we actually paid more for the one in the back. Shower had 5 streams of water, floors never washed but beds clean. TV didn't work till we got exchanged after 5 phone calls. Beach is never packed so didn't have to reserve lounger ever first thing in the morning. The best ala carte is the Gourmet. Italian okay and we never tried the Asian as too many said no good. They had all liquors even Rye which is hardly ever seen. Lots of excursions to choose from. Massage on the beach is a must. Take a walk down the beach about 45 mins to Banana Bay to grab a bite and drink is definitely worth the trek. Local fish fry a must see. Delicious food. All in all inclusive place for those that are going to relax on the beach and are not picky. p.s.......the big bag of Lays chips at the hotel are $7.47 USD. Quite pricey but then we knew that going to Bahamas.

Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach: Great Trip!!

We Had an awesome time at Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach !! The only thing I would change though is the condition of our Room and the Bathroom ..I think they do need major improvement ( starting from bed sheets,beds,floor tiles,shower head in a bathroom ...screen door would be great at 2113 ..and all the Bathrooms on a resort need some TLC too ) But I would still recommend this place to everyone !! Thank you to all the staff of the resort for making our trip great !!

Riu Palace Paradise Island: RIU - Paradise Island

Been back to this resort several times and have enjoyed every time. Staff is amazing and friendly. They take excellent care of the rooms, the common areas, the pool and beach. We Had a great time. Understanding renovations are coming up on this resort... looking forward to seeing them in the fall....

I love this place very nice lots to do they were so very nice And they were always happy to help us in every way they could .The beaches were nice so very beautiful clean and neat . They were very acomadating for us I would differently go back . We were all inclusive the only thing is you have to ask which restaurants were included in our plans but once we did was all good .

The resort was was beautiful food was excellent needs a little facelift but loved the way the resort incorporated the water element throughout the resort from the turtle and stingrays ponds staff very nice and over the top to accommodate love it! The educational element was great!

Breezes Bahamas: Nice Resort!

Simple rooms but clean, good food, excellent service. Fun activities and good value overall. Noise level throughout can be a problem for sleeping. Walls are very thin and since it is less expensive, larger groups of students may be staying.

The Good: 1. Resort with Good number of Activities 2. Courteous Staff The Bad: 1. Flt Delay by over two hours 2. Too much wait time at the transfer from Airport To Hotel because of insufficient bus 3. 1 hour wait at the registration and line up was not even that long (Slow and insufficient number of staff) 4. Return Transfer instruction not properly provided ( A flyer with an attached chit with instruction. Half the people missed) 5. Not many restaurant choices in Sunwing all inclusi [... read more]ve. Even the one that were part of SunWing all inclusive were either permanently closed ( SeeGrapes) or temporarily closed 6. Everything super duper expensive - you are screwed if its not all inclusive 7. Everything concentrated near Royal tower and if you are at Beach tower then its a long trek everyday multiple times a day. 8. Because everything near Royal tower - everything is super crowded all the time

This resort,although a little dated was wonderful,my wife and I were there for 4 days, service was excellent,food was better than expected, people were great,make sure to go downtown,and to paradise island if you have time,would highly recommend this trip,we will definitely be back, for another vacation. Breezes Bahamas: Breezes Bahamas

The hotel is kinda old, smells like sewage and the mattress sags. The West jet rep upon my arrival don't gave me the proper assistance and I end up in Melia instead of Breezes, have to pay $15.00 US taxi fare to bring me to Breezes,. I was told I will get reimbursed if I have the taxi receipt. I was not given any so I guess I have to say goodbye to my $15.00 US. I have to text and e-mail back and forth West Jet vacation for my issues, It was the hotel receptionist that called the West Jet [... read more] vacation so I can be pick up in the hotel for my departure back to Toronto. The beach is dirty, the weather is kinda chilly.Over-all I tried to make my stay as pleasant as I can, to compensate for the $1,300 + that I paid for myself only.
