Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo: Great resort

Hotel clean, rooms look up to date. All three Pools are great. Food is ok very small buffet and not much variety at all. Entertainment is ok. Did not see any shows in the theater which they advertise per day on the wall. Beach is good but the public beach not far has white sand and is beautiful and water so clear you can see so clear to the bottom. Staff very friendly and helpful. Some don't speak much English. Bring your own sun block as it's hard to buy over there and they ones they have no [... read more]t in english and they one they do is and does not work good. Kiddie pool and park good. Lobby is beautiful. Overall had good time as I went to relax and enjoy the beach and Pools. Alcohol is ok they don't have much variety. Disappointed they don't have Piña Colada at all.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: nice resort

it was our first time in Cuba. the resort was nice, the staff were all very sweet and helpful, the hotel rooms were clean with AC, the pool was nice and clean, it had nice entertainment for families during the day as well as at night, the food was good but they had lots of flies on the food in their open buffet restaurant. this resort could properly use some food containers that has lids to avoid the flies from standing on the food.

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Great resort for beach and relaxation

Sandra from trip central is awesome informative friendly and efficient! Sunwing flight going and coming back was perfect. Arrival to the resort by bus was quick. Waited for our room ready around 2pm great! Our room and balcony was fantastic. Tropical views great safe walking nice breeze. Food was usual for Cuba. Service was good. Not many flies or mosquitos. We got sick on our 6th day not sure if from food or scorching sun! We know what to expect and had a good time. Air condition hot water bed and toilet paper not an issue.

Iberostar Selection Esmeralda: Beautiful resort

My husband and I traveled July 14th - July 21st.. A very clean hotel, the staff are friendly and very helpful. The food was above average. The beach is the most beautiful. Had an amazing time. Would suggest to everyone. We stayed in room 4222.Our room was very clean and comfortable. Air conditioning very efficient. Our cleaning ladies were exceptional. the resort, the pools and the beach area are so clean. Yes there are shortages but there is always a great selection of food and drinks.

Grand Aston Cayo Paredon Beach Resort: Overall a Great Resort!

The beach was fantastic and the hotel was legitimately nice! Our AC worked fine, nothing in the hotel was broken, even the Wifi was good. The lunch and snack options were convenient and sufficient, there's also a mini buffet by the beach - so you don't have to change/dry off for the main lunch buffet. The snack bar had burgers and ham + cheese sandwiches. The buffet food was a bit better than at other hotel's I've been too, still not amazing but there was always good options. It would've been nice to have chicken, pork and beef as options everyday at the cooking stations instead of cycling through them on different days. It was also disappointing how slow some of the cooks were, or leaving a station closed despite longer lines. Churros were great and I am glad it was an option, but it was random when it was offered and the line was crazy. They should at least have a schedule when its available. The pizzas are lacking, but we grabbed cheese, ham and pineapple from the buffet and it was great. They should put those items at the mini beach buffet so you can use them as pizza toppings (pizzas are at the same location). Overall a great experience, maybe partly because we've been to Cuba before and knew what to expect. We brought ketchup, salt + pepper, and garlic mayo but they actually had salt + pepper and ketchup. The beach really was fantastic and is the main reason we chose Cuba, this hotel was right by a perfect spot too.

Grand Aston Cayo Paredon Beach Resort: It's Grand indeed!

The hotel is super clean and the staff is very kind. We loved the beautiful beach and enjoyed lazy days at the pool. It is a smaller resort and meant for relaxation and family time. The food is OK and I recommend drinking bottled water.

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Best beach!!

We stayed for a week in April 2024 and first time to Cayo Coco. Been to Cuba many times before and knew what to expect with shortages, hot water issues and paint chipping in the rooms. We have stayed in a tent and a 5 star, so anything in between is just fine with us. The beach at Caribe is second to none and the staff are awesome as always in Cuba! Iberostar Selection Esmeralda: Worst resort

Don't be fooled by the amazing reviews below. This is one of the worst resort to take family with kids and worst if you don't speak Spanish. I couldn't find a kettle or someone to warm up the water for my 10 month old baby. After complaining, they finally got me a coffee maker to get hot water (2 days later). Limited water bottle, one a day, so definitely bring water bottles on your trip and sometimes you don't even get them. Our flight was at 10:55am, they made us check out around 6am to be picked up by the bus for 6:25am, well the bus didnt get there til 7ish. When we went to get breakfast from 24 hours snack bar, we were told that it was closed. Bed sheets and bath towels are so dirty, felt like they used the same one again. Just use your beach towels, which is much cleaner. Unless you know Spanish, workers don't care to treat you well. Majority don't speak or understand English. So hard to ask for anything. Any time you have a question, the answer is " I don't know". Definitely won't get a tour of the place or explanation on where to go for buffet, pool, restaurant or beach. You will have to find out all on your own. Do bring mosquito repellent, super important. Black flies in the morning and Mosquito at night. The only best part of this trip, is the amazing beach and also the exterior of the hotel is beautiful Overall, worst trip and will never recommend this place to anyone.

Melia Costa Rey: Vacation June 2024

Absolutely beautiful resort !! Repeat clients , The resort changed name while we were there July 1st 2024 to Melia Costa Rey We were very impressed with the food , the Buffet was very good with lots of variety, as well as the a la carte restaurants especially the international restaurant was excellent!! Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: June travel

Hotel is very old but it is under renovations. The food is definitely not great. No eggs and very limited menu offered. We only go to enjoy the beach. The entertainment is very limited. The staff were very nice.

Starfish Cayo Guillermo: Wonderful

I needed to get away and relax. Starfish gave me the quiet off-season RnR that I needed. The staff, accommodations, food, beach, pool, and resort were all top notch. The 10min walk to see the flamingos was one of my highlights. I would definitely return

Sol Cayo Coco: Awesome resort

We where at least 15 times in Cuba, from Havana down to the south. The Sol, Cayo Coco was one of the best experiences we had on the Island! This was our second time at this resort and not the last time. If you don't need to venture out in the evening or want "City nightlife" this is one secret paradise

Tryp Cayo Coco: Resort I loved from the first moment

I have been at Tryp four times and I just fell in love with beautiful white sand and calm ocean. Same beach as Aruba or Antiqua for a fraction of the price. Also, amazing people working very hard and appreciate your presence there. Food is actually great in the restaurants . But, people working there are the BEST. I will always come back here, it is a resort I trust not to disappoint.

Iberostar Selection Esmeralda: Amazing resort!!

We had the best time at Iberostar Selection Esmeralda. Specifically, the staff couldn’t have been better. The entertainers (Jackson, Billy, Yaris, Alejandro and Angel). The staff in the buffet went above and beyond as well. Would highly recommend this hotel for a great time, great beach and great memories!!!

Sanctuary White Sands: Amazing Resort and wonderful stagg

From the moment Martine helped us book our vacation we were excited and looked forward to this trip. The people and resort did not disappoint. Incredible beach and views. Great staff across all areas. The resort may benefit from posting recreation activities and posting any live performances. The sax player was an added bonus!

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Great resort! Great time!

My sister and I stayed at Iberostar Daiquiri Cuba June 13-20. It was my second time and even better. Great weather. The resort was so clean, the food so plentiful and varied, the à la cart restaurants were great. We even had lobster. They cleaned the pools daily and the pools were great as was the beach. Coffee at the front bar was the best. Vila Gale Cayo Paredon: Outstanding resort with A1 service

This amazing resort with 7 three floor interconnecting blocks is without a doubt the best in all of the past 12 trips to Cuba. It's modern, clean and each block is central to all stations. We had room 5210 overlooking the pool and ocean. The rooms were very clean, towels were replenished daily, and sufficient hot water for showers. The resort has 1 large activity pool, 1 family pool for relaxing with a kiddie pool as well as a breathtaking infidelity pool overlooking the ocean. Plenty of cha [... read more]irs available at the pool and beach. The grounds are well kept with wonderful artwork done with rocks. The beach is simply great with no rocks. Sea weeds are raked daily by the staff and the beach bar is close by. One can take a nice walk on the beach towards the Grand Aston hotel, whose beach has plenty of rocks and further down a Russian hotel. The food was also great. There was no shortage of eggs, bread, or meats and fruits. Although it was repetitive, we alternated nightly for having variety. The desert table could have had more variety. There were 4 a la carte restaurants: Cuban, Italian, Portuguese and Mediterranean. The first three are highly recommended. Due to the off season there was only one snack bar and one main buffet open, although there are plenty of buffets and snack bars all over the resort. The lobby bar and coffee bar is simply great to relax on comfy seats or tables. The staff were all very accommodating and hospitable everywhere we went. We were there from June 11-18 and there was no crowds which was a relief. The only downside was the presence of the pesky mosquitoes in the early morning and evening when there is no wind. Although, the staff do spray the grounds and a crop duster plane sprays by air you definitely need a highly effective bug spray with deep.

Melia Costa Rey: Awesome resort and experience

This was an absolutely awesome vacation . I would consider my self as some what picky and this resort meet all my exceptions. I was a little worried before going because I heard some of the resorts had shortage problems. No issues here at all .Very very clean , Great food , Nice rooms , beautiful beaches and Pools . Very friendly staff . We will be booking next year as well

Tryp Cayo Coco: great resort stayed June 8th to 15th
