Rex St Lucian: Very good resort!

|The hotel was kept very clean. The washrooms within the hotel are nice and very clean. The one near the pool area needs a little sprucing up. The rooms are very clean, a good size with a big balconies but we did not have a dresser in the room, we mentioned it to the front desk and within the same day, they brought one to the room. The restaurant is beautiful by the seaside but I wish they had a snack bar throughout the day. The only issue I had was the distance from the airport to the hotel...it takes 1.5 hours to get there and the roads are very winding so if you are prone to motion sickness/car sickness you better come prepared!

Rex St Lucian: Rex St Lucia Resort

The first you need to know is the hotel is 90 minutes away from the airport. The drive can make you sick if you are subject to motion sickness,which I am. The staff at the Rex are the friendlies and most helpful. The accommodation are cleaned every day. There is only one main buffet restaurant on the complex with server great food. You will know at 07:00 AM the day when they except the Cruise Liners because the beach is very active getting ready for the new arrivals (setting up beach chairs). The food is very good, if you have dietary needs the staff will take care of you needs. From the moment you arrive at the hotel till you leave you will find the staff very professional. They try to help every one but we all know some travelers are just not satisfied with anything, they always look for the negative. Windjammer Landing: Absolutely amazing!

The grounds, the villas, the beach, the service, and the food were amazing! We were blown away by this place and will definitely be going back. No complaints at all. The staff will do anything they can to ensure you have a great trip. Hammocks in the water was a great touch, I do suggest water shoes to get to them tho. Bouncy thing in the water was a good touch too! Always something to do here. Great spot for families and couples!

Smugglers Cove Resort and Spa: Very nice and clean resort

Beautiful landscaped gardens, clean and spacious rooms, free wifi available, nice and friendly staff, amazing views from the wedding gazebo, a la carte restaurant available for lunch and dinner, very good food and services provided, nice entertainment, well organized trips to see St Lucia and Martinique.

Smugglers Cove Resort and Spa: Amazing Anniversary Vacation

We came back on Saturday January 10th from our 35th anniversary vacation in St. Lucia. Smugglers Cove exceeded our expectations in every way. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to please us. the food was delicious in all the restaurants. The beach is small and a little rocky but the view is spectacular. Smugglers Cove Resort and Spa: Old resort, good location and above averageservice

The resort is old, some rooms should not be even used - no windows, small bathroom and toilet, anemic AC, etc. Overall resort shows its age. Management tries to compensate with above average service and tasty food. I would recommend this resort for someone looking for value in St Lucia (which is expensive island) and is not fussy about anything, don't expect 4 or 5 star resort facilities here. St Lucia is a nice island, worth going out of the resort and visiting.

Bay Gardens Inn: Friendly hotel.

Great vacation. Service very friendly and helpful. Rooms with balcony or terrace nice and clean. Shuttle bus very convenient and always available, if there was not bus ready they call private transportation to give us ride. Very good location.

Smugglers Cove Resort and Spa: Great value! Very relaxing!

I was a bit disappointed when we arrived at the hotel - some of the areas needed a bit of upgrading and the buffet seemed a little sparse. Within the first 24 hours, I fell in love with the place. Everything was so easy! We never needed to wait for anything. We could get from the restaurant to the beach to the pool to the bar in a few short steps...all with beautiful views of the cove. The staff was fantastic! The a la carte restaurants were easy to reserve and they served quality food. We luck [... read more]ed out with a room that was a 30-second walk from the central hub. However, even the rooms at the periphery of the hotel were no more than a 5-minute walk. The rooms are ground level in approximately 6-room blocks surrounded by nice lawns and gardens. We felt like we had a private lawn where we could watch the hummingbirds come and go...and we never saw or heard our neighbours despite a full hotel. Rumour has it that there will be a number of upgrades soon. I certainly hope they will keep the charm alive.

To begin with St Lucia is beautiful. Although the drive from the Airport is over an hour, this gives you an opportunity to see the beauty that is St Lucia. The minute you arrive at the resort every single employee you meet is working their hardest to ensure that your vacation is fabulous in every way. Every individual that I encountered was so friendly and so helpful and genuinely interested in speaking to their guests. Simply an amazing vacation. Loved the Hospitality, gourmet food and room (Premium room was spacious, well lit, comfortable bed, we didn't need to have brand new furniture and tiling to be happy with it; furniture was just fine). Yoga, archery, watersports, tennis and fitness room were available for free. Drinks and weather were great. Highly recommended!

Windjammer Landing: Windjammer Landing #1 Resort

This hotel is amazing or should I say their Villa's! Enjoy your splash pool at your villa, very refreshing. Accommodation is Clean and amazing with wonderful views of the ocean. Retire to bed with awesome sunsets and wake up to beautiful rainbows! The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and are more than accommodating to make sure you enjoy your holiday. Long term employees that says a lot!! Their shuttle service to and from the main lobby is fast and their drivers very pleasant. Never worry about waiting for a shuttle. You get to meet the manager of the hotel Mark. He is there everyday checking up on his staff that have all been extremely well trained for their jobs. The food is excellent and all the restaurants are more than accommodating to your personal needs, even if it is not on the menu!! The hotel is accommodating to couples and families. Lots to do for the kids with their program for the children. If you are worried about putting on the pounds during your stay get in the pool every morning for your aqua exercise or go to the gym. The hotel is owned by a Canadian Company Ellis-Don and you will see the owners at their hotel also. The hotel/Villa Resort is under some new renovations to add on to the resort but in no way does this renovation hinder your stay. Looking at the new reno in progress just makes you want to come back to see the result! There are wonderful water sports and tours to make your stay even more enjoyable. If you do not enjoy your stay it is only because of you not the hotel or staff. Great vacation and reasonably priced!! Well done Ellis-Don!!!

Rex St Lucian: overall impression

Quite satisfactory about food, front desk and general services. However, the bathtub drainage in our room was very slow, although the issue was brought to the attention of the hotel. No improvement was made. Another drawback was the seadoo and speed boats cruising around TOO close to the swimmer area. This is dangerous. That said the resort is ideal for older people who want a quiet environment plus carefree meal plan. I will return to the resort.

BodyHoliday Saint Lucia: When can I go back?

Room was nice. Food, facilities were great. Grounds were immaculate and the staff were, for the most part, lovely people. All inclusive means all inclusive here, unless you want to upgrade on some wines or get additional spa treatments, none of which we bothered with. It's not cheap, but we all thought it was worth the money.

Stolen Time Saint Lucia: A true paradise !!!

This was my first holiday in the Caribbean's. It was truly amazing. We arrived on a Saturday December 20th and left Saturday dec 27th. This was an experience of a lifetime. The rooms were gorgeous. We had the beachfront ocean view rooms. The view was beautiful and the cleanliness was spectacular. It was our honeymoon so the little things like lighting candles on our bed side and putting a chocolate on our pillow was the cherry on top to a romantic evening. This beach was beautiful. My husband an [... read more]d I really enjoyed sailing, tubing and water skiing. The activity staff especially Shane were amazing! Such great helpful people. The food was delicious. Every night I over ate cause it was too good to take a little! Hehe The servers , especially Trisha, Ashley and Trevor, always went out of their ways to make sure our stay was unforgettable. St Lucia was everything I could imagine it being . Thanks to rendezvous and their wonderful staff and resort. I would recommend this escort to everyone !! It was so relaxing and entertaining !! I can't wait to return!

Sandals Regency La Toc Golf Resort and Spa: Amazing Resort with GREAT Staff!

Resort was really nice and relaxing! We enjoyed having access to other Sandals resorts. Scuba diving was great so we're the restaurants. We had a room in the Sunset Bluffs area and it was amazing. Our butlers, Trish and Gene were AMAZING! ! So incredibly friendly and always looking after us. We had such a great time during our stay at the Sandals La Toc. We highly recommend it for a relaxing getaway!

Secrets St. Lucia Resort and Spa: A Fantastic Stay!!!

Picturesque views, mouthwatering seafood and incredibly friendly staff who made it a 9.5/10 stay. A tropical vacation right out of a fantasy that's well worth the cost! The only thing lacking is a late night place to continue the evening after 11pm.

The rooms are somewhat dated and worn, but they are keep clean. The staff is absolutely fantastic. They are ready to help with anything that you need. The food was very good at both the buffet and specialty restaurants. There was always something different.

Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Food was amazing ! Bungalows were sufficient however we were at the very back of resort... far walk to back/forth up hill!!!! Beautiful small resort provided an intimate setting for those seeking same:) overall an enjoyable vacation . No major complaints!!

Windjammer Landing: beautiful place!

This resort is one of the best I have ever been to. The staff is outstanding, extremely friendly and willing to anything to ensure that you have a good time. The views from the rooms were amazing and the rooms were very clean. The watersports activities were numerous, more than I have ever had included at a resort, and the staff was extremely accommodating even willing to teach you how to use the equipment. Sandals Regency La Toc Golf Resort and Spa: Awesome honeymoon!

My husband and I went to Sandals La Toc in St. Lucia for our honeymoon. The hotel is beautiful, well maintained and has the perfect location. We got upgraded to a room in the Honeymoon Village which was very nice. The beach and the pool area are awesome. The only drawback is that people who have butlers get their chairs reserved for them and never show up. So many times we were at the pool or the beach and there were towel on chairs and no one ever showed up. They should implement a time limit o [... read more]n the reservations, if you don’t show up by a certain hour the towels should be removed so other people who actually want to use the chairs can use them. There are three Sandals resorts in St. Lucia and there is a shuttle bus that goes between all three. We went to Grand for dinner to the Italian restaurant and the food and service was amazing! La Toc has eight restaurants and the food is amazing in all of them. The staff is very friendly but for the most part the service in on the slow side. I was a little disappointed that the hotel did not have fresh coconuts available except on Friday when they had the street party. Also, the bars are not open 24h. The only bar that was open until 2am was the piano bar which was very small and got crowded very fast. Overall we had a great experience and would recommend this resort for a honeymoon.
