Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Great Resort

Pool was great. Love having the different sections (Adult Only). A la Cartes were not as good as other resorts. The beach had quite a bit of seaweed which wasn't picked up. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Good resort for the money!

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great trip to Runaway Bay!

This was our 2nd time to this property and after our 1st time, we had somewhat high expectations. This time we stayed for 10 days which was the best! They met or exceeded all our expectations! . Staff was engaging, pleasant and efficient, Food was great! Room and view were amazing! We were comp upgraded to Don Pueblo side for our suite and the housekeeping staff did a great job. Always had towels and no issues getting beach towels either. Beach is a distance ( for the best part of the beach) which we knew so no issue there. We enjoyed the walk. Security was always somewhere to be seen, both on the beach and on the property. Our only issue ( which was not a hotel issue) was that another guest helped themseves to one of our beach floaties while we at breakfast. I was not impressed! Never saw the flaotie for 8 days! Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Perfect place

Quiet resort with everything you need. Service was awesome even at the hotel, pools, room service, or golf course etc. it's very clean. Landscape is gorgeous on site as much as the golf course. They have a quiet pool and some with more music and activity. It's not on the beach and we knew it. But they have shuttles every 10 minutes for those who want to go there and it give more intimacy to the place. Our stay was perfect!

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Good Bang for the Buck

Close to the beach, dinning room, pools ect. If yois only do not like kids this not the section for you. Lots of kids in the dinning room ect. The room is beautiful. The hotel is very organized. If you want to dine in different buffets the resort is huge so you can go to the different areas. I would return but go to the Amber section as we are a couple without kids so the kids are cute until they put their hands in the food at the buffet. I got married there and it was amazing!!! The people were great and they really tried hard to ensure everyone had a great time at their resort. There were a few hip cups but even then the staff did what was needed to correct it. At times the staff were slow meeting everyone's demands but with that amount of customers it really is understandable. The resort makes you feel safe and appreciated. Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Fantastic Family resort

The resort is beautiful, very well maintained, friendly and helpful staff, very family friendly, food was wonderful, pools were fantastic, our grandchildren had a wonderful and fun time, we would recommend this resort.

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Average

Not a 5 star on amenities, old bed, old and dirty towels, dirty linens, clogged bath tub, no exhaust in the bathroom, dirty and smelly room, not enough lounge chairs, internet is limited and smokers everywhere you go. I saw roaches and mice in the food area. Please change the rating on your site so its not deceiving to customers. Thank you.

The resort itself it very large. The rooms need maintenance in regards to the furniture, and bathrooms. We found the food in the buffets as well as the a la carte restaurants to be very good - lots of variety. The terrace has great nightly small bands that did not disappoint. However, we found the beach to be lacking. It just wasn't a 5 star calibre beach. The only thing that bugged me about this resort was the inconsistency of stocking coffee and the mini bar in the room. I need my coffee in th [... read more]e morning and to wake up and not have any was disappointing. Even after talking to the front desk about stocking coffee nothing ever came of it. Too bad.

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Great Resort Sub Standard A La Cartes

Can't say enough good about the resort, They went out of their way to make your stay Great. The only complaint and it's one that needs to be addressed is the A la Carte restaurants. What a disappointment, my wife and I really enjoy getting dressed up and going out to dinner. My wife's statement says it all. " Getting dressed up to go to a buffet seems wrong". Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: One of the best in Mayan Riviera hands down

This hotel (Sian Ka'an) is the top echelon adults only section of the Grand Bahia Principe complex composed of 4 huge hotels and a shopping centre. It was nice to be removed from the hustle/bustle of the main resort full of kids and drunk vacationers in this secluded jungle paradise (the ONLY drawback is the distance to the beach). I recommend downloading the Grand Bahia App, it's a really easy fast way to reserve at the restaurants (although literally useless for anything else!!!) Grounds kept very nicely, welcoming friendly staff (esp if you know a little Spanish), no problems with reception or cashier The rooms were very nice, I prefer having a bath tub though (strictly shower stall), and a full length mirror would have been mint! Otherwise beautiful room location, always restocked daily, very quiet. The beach is very long with different swimming conditions throughout and an EXCELLENT swim out reef chalk full of fish!!! (ESP if you bring some bread or a Banana). However, water shoes are a MUST if you are going in any further than 5m from shore line). Nightlife is pretty good, so much variety of shows at different hotels in the complex. The disco was fun, lots of other young ppl. However, the SAME playlist played every single night, it was a bit rough by the end of the week LOL. The karaoke was very elusive and we never found it. Do not trust the app for activities as the event/times rarely matched up with reality (even the boards were wrong occasionally). Improving the free wifi access would have easily made this a 5 star for me, but sadly only free access in the lobby and your room (only free for Sian Ka'an). If you see anything under $1500 for a week (high season or no) jump on it, as it's well worth it! Also, it might be worth saying that the resort complex might be a bit TOO big for some. You have to ride trolleys everywhere and sometimes this involves waiting 5-10mins. Also, as the resort is HUGE, it's hard to make familiar/regular friends as you rarely see them again. Deffo a 4.5/5. More wifi and closer to the beach would have been 5/5.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Amazing holiday

We travelled for a good friends wedding. The ceremony was absolutely stunning. Overall this hotel is certainly a 4 star in my eyes. The only thing that would have made it better is knowing about the Gold Package and being offered the upgrade. Otherwise no complainants. The staff were amazing, grounds were well kept, and everything was so clean. Definitely would recommend it!

The grounds and buildings were very clean, not all rooms had good air conditioning had to request to be moved due to poor A/C in our first room, the food was excellent, the service was very good, enjoyed talking with employees at the resort.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Great resort

The resort is perfect for people that want options. We love it because it's a small so everything is in walking distance, this property is closest to the beach and if you want action at night just hop on the trolley to the Peuble Principe where you can catch a second show or gamble at the casino or party away at the casino. Beach is great!! hotel is beautiful, clean and staff is so nice. The only down side is the food which isn't that bad at all!!. I definitely recommend it!!

The resort itself is beautiful. Great pool, lobby, bars, beach, and restaurants. The rooms are nice but small things showed a lack of pride - running toilet, broken switches.. service was awesome sometimes and poor other times. Room services (daily stocking of the bar fridge, for example) was inconsistent. It was common to hear that they had run out of something, including at the bars. Basic service is included at all levels but the Luxury upgrade is well worth it if the difference is only a cou [... read more]ple hundred bucks - you get a bigger room, exclusive pool area with more shade, higher end drinks, room service included, and more bookings at the a-la-carte restaurants. Food was excellent everywhere and we had a couple of amazing servers who made us feel special, which really improved our stay.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Excellent! Exclente!! Resort -

This was our first trip to Punta Cana. My husband and I stayed at the Luxury Bahia Principe Ambar Resort for Adults only. This resort is absolutely beautiful and relaxing. Very clean, amazing service. The staff were excellent and very friendly and courteous. Staying at the Ambar Resort gave us privileges to the other 4 resorts on the property with our wrist bands we could eat, drink and use all the facilities. Free Wi-fi in the main lobby. Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Amazing Resort

We have stayed at Bahia Principe Tulum last year and loved the fact that we could stay at one resort and use the Akemal and the Coba. So we decided to try the Coba. The rooms were large and spacious, the beach was great. The property was beautifully kept and we found the animals roaming around were comical! The food was great as were the workers. By staying here, and being able to use the other properties, we found it was like having three mini holidays. Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Very Good

Food was great. Tulum is a very large resort compared to Akumal where I have stayed before. The beach does have issues with continuous sea weed daily. They try very hard to clear it but it is an ongoing battle.

The Eurostars Grand Cayacoa: fantastic trip

This was absolutely amazing from the time we arrived til we left. Food people and guests were all happy and very pleasant. Entertainment was good and the resort was beautiful.we would go back again.!the entertainers were fantastic. We did two excursions and the dominican is a beautiful place. Mountains everywhere. Scenery is beautiful

The Eurostars Grand Cayacoa: Did not want it to end.......

The hotel was clean, friendly easy to get around. The food was exceptional always something new to try. Staff were all friendly. Entertainment Group was the best group ever, they kept everyone laughing and having a great time. We would go back to that resort in a heart beat and are looking at when we can go back : )
