Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: No place to Hideaway!
This is a huge and very busy resort. There is always something going on and the pool area is very noisy. The Children's area was actually more to our liking because the adult party crowd was quite loud to be around. The beach area is more quiet, but some days too windy to sit there. The pool areas are so busy that we often could not find a place to sit. Our rooms faced the mangrove marsh and we could not use the balcony because of the strong sulphur smell. We were able to move my elderly pa [... read more]
Platinum Yucatan Princess: Great stay
I had a great week at Platinum Yucatan, mostly because of the amazing staff and good food. The resort itself was beautiful, I was a little disappointed with the pools that are a bit small and crowded, but having access to the two other princess hotels with bigger pools made this less of an issue. I read a lot of complaints about the beach- it is a little rocky, but it is still beautiful, plenty of chairs and once again, a little walk towards the other resort and the ocean is perfectly swimmable. Barcelo Maya Caribe: Large Resort
Very large... stay at one play at 4. Nice to have lots to do... mini golf, lots of pools, beach, good food, Dolphins and more. Unfortunate they had overbooked and we were put in a different resort .. The Beach...than we booked. There were a lot of students and noise... disappointing.
Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos: Nice Lodging - beautiful views
The Pueblo Bonito is the smaller of the three resorts. What we didn't know was that it is also a time share. Not a bad thing except you had to sign for absolutely everything - one can of coke or a bottle of water -never had to do that at an all inclusive resort before. We had to call and ask for beverages for the fridge in the room - never had to do that before either. Turns out everything is not included - there were several restaurants that there was a surcharge The most choices seemed [... read more]
Ocean Coral and Turquesa: Excellent resort!
Great size resort to get around with only 500+ rooms, no need for a shuttle. The staff is friendly and hard working. All common spaces were well maintained and the rooms were nicely laid out and a great size. Excellent kids club/pool area and only steps to the beach. Really good food at the buffet. The a la carte restaurants were good nice for the experience, but the buffet food was better quality. I would return to this resort for sure!
Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Fabulous Resort
The resort was beautiful. It was clean and the service excellent. Food was beyond good . Located in the wooded area mad it even more relaxing. The beach was very good. Excellent snorkeling. Martha provided great beach bar service.
Decameron Los Cocos Guayabitos Ramada: Minor irritations.
Overall pleasant experience. Food, fairly good, room big, comfortable and clean. Grounds, well maintained. Staff, work hard and friendly. Irritations, we had to buy our own tonic water as the upstairs bar seldom had any. Ridiculous method of reserving a table at the a-la-cart restaurants which required joining a lineup at 7.30 a.m. to get a numbered card to make the reservation at 8.00 a.m. Didn't bother. The bikes are only available for guided tours twice a week. Not allowed out on your own t [... read more]
Secrets Mirabel Cancun Resort and Spa: Great resort
I really enjoyed my vacation at the now emerald! Quiet - great staff! The French restaurant was amazing! Both the food and the service!!! I loved the atmosphere- no reservations needed at the restaurants. Lots of towels and chairs. The servers at the beach and pool work very hard to keep you in drinks!
Barcelo Maya Grand Resort: We love the Barcelo Maya
We continue to go back to this resort many times. We enjoy diving with Dressel divers. I have done all my scuba training there, open water, advanced, and nitrox. The grounds are well kept. It is a large, beautiful resort with much to do, good food and staff that is very nice. For any Pokemon GO players: There are several gyms and pokestops all over the resort. The riviera section still does not have any though. Some level 40s need to visit and start submitting spots. The palace section [... read more]
Grand Sens Cancun: Party place
Resort overall is nice layout but is not greatly accessible for people with disabilities even minor ones. The pool water is cold . There are no steps to get in and out .The servers are amazing at bars and restaurants . Coffee place is amazing for product and service. Rooms are comfortable and serviced well. Beds are I think on older side and needing replacement in near future . Used the gym , not all equipment works and no bathroom facilities . Difficult to get into specialty restaurants so ende [... read more]
Krystal Cancun: Satisfactory Resort
Although Krystal was a dated resort, it was very clean. What made the stay enjoyable was the hard working, friendly and courteous staff. There were only two dining facilities on site with one pool side canteen. The food was good however the buffet was basically the same every day. We would have liked more night time entertainment. Being located in the pristine beach area certainly made this vacation worthwhile. It beats shovelling snow. We would go back to Cancun but would want to stay at [... read more]

Dreams Sapphire Resort and Spa: Great Place
Loved this resort. Especially the staff. And the entertainment was outstanding. Not only in the theatre but the music in the lobby and poolside. Food was good, room and grounds nice. Never left the resort during our weeks stay.
Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Our Vacation
What a great overall trip. Loved the rooms, Food & atmosphere of the resort. The amount of pools allowed the guests to be spread out and not overcrowded. Wished there were more rooms with ocean views though. The stay was great and was sad to have to leave.
Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Wonderful Time at the Royalton
Stayed at the Royalton Feb 5-12/2020 with husband and two children under 4. Resort was well kept and cared for. Staff were very kind and helpful. Check in was a breeze. Beach unfortunately had seaweed which is expected at this time but kids still enjoyed the sand. Splash park for kids is huge. Pools are amazing. Food was okay - nothing too special but lots to choose from at buffet. Loved the ZEN restaurant - Miguel was a wonderful cook. Hunters steak house was delicious as well. Rooms were spaci [... read more]
Iberostar Waves Paraiso del Mar: Absolutely Amazing
The resort was amazing. The rooms, the food, the entertainment, the grounds, the services, the pools, the beach...absolutely no complaints. Will return in 2021. We have already recommended it to friends and colleagues.
Ocean Riviera Paradise: Great Vacation
We enjoyed every aspect of the resort. Beautiful grounds, very well kept up and clean. The Privilege package was all we expected and some more. Fast and pleasant check in and check out. We loved our room, spacious, clean, well equipped with all that we needed (including jets tub outside and another one in the bathroom). Bed was very comfortable. Privilege building is very close to the beach and having a designated beach area was great. Privilege restaurant was amazing. Service and food were both [... read more]
Barcelo Maya Grand Resort: Couldn't have asked for better!
Perfect from start to finish. The rooms were lovely, with fantastic room service. The pools were huge and it was only steps to the ocean! Everything was super well kept, you can tell the staff cares! Every server we had was exceptional and took such great care of us. Food was good, would have loved some more vegan options however. There was always something for us to eat, but some meals were repetitive.
Ocean Riviera Paradise: Great family vacay!
We were 3 generations with diverse ages. 50,28,14,8 We had a room in the Daisy area garden view. The housekeeping all week was amazing. Left us towel animals which was awesome. Our balcony had a swing which we all enjoyed & 2 chairs. The room had 2 queens, pull out couch (we never used) We never felt cramped. 2 large closets. Our fridge was always stocked with water, pop, chocolate milk, beers and snacks. We never had to request refills. Buffet had so many options that the first night w [... read more]
Barcelo Maya Caribe: Amazing Resort
Loved this resort. Food in all restaurants was great. Buffets had everything you could imagine, gluten free and vegan choices as well. Children's buffet tables too. The shows at night were better than I've ever seen. Rooms were large and clean, several pools to chose from. Adults only, family, entertainment and multiple splash pads for kids. Beautiful grounds with wildlife to watch. Dolphinarium on property to watch whenever you want too. Loved it!
