Grand Sunset Princess: Good time

Grounds were well kept, people were friendly, rooms were good and the layout of the resort was good (lots of pool options). The only downside was the beach water is shallow and the food was good to average.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Paraiso Beach

The grounds were immaculate. The room was lovely. We found the place a little big for us. There lots of walking but we could catch the tram if we needed to. We found the people very friendly. My husband found that the bars did not stock alot of canadian rye. They kept running out. All in all we had a great week.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Lovely resort

pros: lovely grounds, entertainment for everyone young and mature, cons: initial told of an upgrade to a sister hotel Sian Kaan, it turned out not to be, after asking for a quiet room we were put next to an equipment room that housed a air conditioner so we had to sleep with ear plugs, seaweed, i found the atmosphere/staff at Coba friendlier then Tulum

Allegro Playacar: Beautiful Resort!

This resort is pristine! The rooms, grounds, pools, restaurants, etc are impeccably clean and exceptionally well kept. Allegro Playacar is a small resort which allows you the opportunity to get to know the staff and meet many returning visitors. The large pool abuts the beach and the beach is beautiful! It's very long and great for walking... 20 min to Town. Always something to do if you want activity. Grand Sunset Princess: Beautiful Resort and so many pools

We really enjoyed our 10 days here, was always something to do, the evening shows were great. Lots of places to eat, the beach had some sea weed but wasn't a problem. the rocks in the water were hard to navigate around and slippery, water shoes were helpful. Room was always clean and fridge stocked daily. Had a massage at the spa, Rosa was great.. Everyone was so friendly here. Had a great time.

El Dorado Seaside Suites: A 5star resort for sure

Grounds were well kept, food was exceptional, never been to a resort where the duvet were actually cleaned daily. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Beach was small but pools and jacuzzis made up for that

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Amazing Resort

This was our second time to this resort in as many years and it was just as wonderful as it was the first time. Food was amazing, beach was great (although the time we were there they were struggling to keep the seaweed cleared but did a great job!) and the staff was as fantastic as one could hope for. I would recommend this resort to anyone.

Grand Palladium Kantenah: Nice Resort, Great Stay

Hotel was nice clean, hotel staff were polite, buffets good and ala carte were all good. I have no complaints at all. Next time if we choose this resort I probably would book either in the White Sands or Colonial hotel. I found most of the night events were all going on in that area of the resort. Not a big deal to catch a shuttle back to the Kantenah but still a heads up for future travellers.

Dreams Riviera Cancun: Wonderful resort

The resort was well maintained, the grounds were taken care of every morning, plenty of food options. I loved the fact you didn’t need to wear a resort bracelet and there was plenty of lounges around the pool areas and on the beach. The young entertainment staff had so much energy, they kept busy with various activities, volleyball, water aerobics and then helped out with running the evening entertainment as well.

Viva Azteca by Wyndham: Simple, comfortable hotel

We enjoyed our recent stay at Viva Azteca. We are repeat guests who have previously stayed at both Azteca and Maya. The rooms were dated, but clean, cool, and quiet. The mattresses and pillows need replacement. Food was decent, we ate most diners in Playa del Carmen as pre planned. Buffet Waiter Alfonzo was most kind and helpful at breakfast and lunch. (Tractor did not come near the shore due to erosion concerns.) I was only able to swim in the ocean 1 day, next door at RIU Lupitas oceanfront. (They worked hard at raking daily.) We were happy with the value we received aside from the seaweed problem. They are charging an eco tax, (20 pesos per room per day,) but the beaches were only raked once in 9 days buy a local clean up team that did the entire Playacar beach. There are 335 rooms at Azteca at 20 pesos per day..... My expectations were not met as far as beach conditions/maintenance. Viva should participate in the clean up beyond the tractor & burial.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Awesome resort

Everything was perfect at the resort from the grounds to service quality of food and transportation around the resort. Shows were very good and rooms were clean and spacious . No musky smell at all. English speaking on the resort is excellent as well

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Absolutely Amazing Resort (Sian Ka'an)

Great resort with so much to offer it's clients. Golf, the beautiful beach (with plenty of chairs to sun in) bars to get your drinks at or be served by 1 of the bar girls who walked up and down offer to get what you wanted, so many swimming pools to choose from with bars attached, many different restaurants to dine at or just that big huge buffet that is open all day long. Also available is a 24 hour restaurant, maid service daily and restocking the bar fridge in your unit. LUSH green trees, pl [... read more]ants and beautiful pathways to walk and explore this very large resort. Truly a absolutely beautiful 2 weeks in Bahia Principe. My one complaint was a day manager IRIS RODRIGUEZ who showed no compassion for a Mother who son was MUGGED and badly beaten and drag with a car. The resort did absolutely nothing for this family as the other guest helped with the rest of their stay. You can look on YOUTUBE and see their interview when they got back to Toronto. Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Paradise

Beautiful landscapes and gardens. White sandy beaches with tons of chairs. Wonderful fast service. Clean facilities. Great food. Many great restaurants to choose from. Fabulous vacation for the family with so many options and activities for everyone

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Beautiful resort grounds are stunning

Pros, beautiful grounds, great food, lots of pools, friendly staff, spider monkeys run wild in mangrove forest, premium drinks, rooms very nice, beds very comfortable. Cons, music was too loud around the quiet pool, a few people asked bartender to turn it down as the speakers were right beside our loungers & we & others were told that they couldn't turn it down. We stayed in villa 15 so a long walk to the beach. And what I found most annoying was that there wasn't a lot of comfy seating for  [... read more]lounging at night most of the seating around the bars or the plaza were just lawn chairs, not comfortable.

Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Great time!!

We had an amazing trip. Alot of rest and relaxation. Food was excellent. Drinks where good, good selection. Connoisseur was wonderful by our room, very informative. The only disappointment was that the beach was not great. Lots of seaweed on the beach because of the weather. They tried their best to clean it up each day.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Home from home

Just returned from our 9th time to GBP Coba, fantastic 2 weeks as always. Staff, service, resort, A La Carte dinners top notch. We shall be going back 22nd December-5th January. Carol Webber was great to deal with @ Trip Central, we shall be booking with her again.

Super resort for children. Friendly staff and fantastic food. Only complaint is speed of check in is very lengthy and service at bars was slow. The pools were well maintained and there was lots of activities to keep busy.

Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: Birthday Visit

We stayed from Feb 24 to March 3. We were four couples of which two of us were celebrating milestone birthdays... I had e-mailed Corinna Weisker in PR two weeks before arrival to request our room be in building 3 if possible and to advise two of us would be celebrating birthdays.. We were given room 3002, which to me was perfect. Close to everything and on the quiet side of the resort. We have been to 5 other Myan Riviera resorts over the years (Excellence and Palace resorts) and were blown away with the experience we had in Akumal Bay Beach resort. The rooms in 3 and 4 blocks have fantastic beach views and short of an indoor bathtub are more then adequate for our stay. I have to say the service in the four specialty restaurants was exceptional and the food was great. Each meal lasted over two hours and we felt like Royalty when done. Unfortunately the seaweed was overwhelming the beach, as fast as they cleaned it off a new batch came in next day. Our group did go snorkeling down near the edge of the property near the next hotel and were able to see many fish but not lucky to see turtles. Lots of shelters and chairs on the beach and someone came around often with drinks. Dreams Jade Resort and Spa: Great resort

Beautiful resort, fantastic food, great service but disappointing preferred club extras. One big draw to the resort was that there was international beverages but they ran out every morning after two drinks! Also, we were unable to use a cabana for the whole trip as they were always taken (people payed staff to reserve them even though they said it wasn’t allowed) Chairs were hard to come by at the preferred pool too.
