Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Great resort

Great value for money. the staff are fantastic rooms are large, beautiful, and spotless! All the food was great our favourite was the beach bbq for lunch and we loved that you did not have to leave the beach to eat or go to the bar as it is all right there. If I had to think of a negative comment which is difficult to do, it would be the coral on the beach but it was easy to get over, also they need a new toaster for breakfast ..

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Amazing! Had a blast!!

Had an amazing time, great friendly staff, everyday entertainment, great drinks, and a la carte. Must visit the Pillar beach, spectacular!! Aqua vida spa was exceptional. Second time there and will be returning again soon! Premium rooms, love it! Overall great small resort, which I enjoy.

Muthu Colonial Hotel: Don't expect too much during the summer

2nd time in Cayo Coco. We had a very nice 2nd floor room. Bottled water re-stocked everyday. Staff were pleasant but not very cheerful. The hotel was at 10% capacity. The beach club was closed everyday. Wood steps to the beach were in disrepair....exposed nail could have ruined someone's vacation. Sometimes Cuban families would show up to eat and grab as much as they could before being sent home...it seemed that because the hotel was almost empty and not much supervision was on sight the staff w [... read more]ould invite family & friends in for a treat. Sad sight really. We met a women who was just as disappointed as us as this was her 5th visit to the hotel. She swore it was much better the previous visits. No mangos, no seafood but as she said we still had a nice beach, clean rooms, ok food and the staff did their jobs. If you book anywhere, I recommend your travel agent provide info on how empty the hotel is before booking. For us, it felt like a ghost town and too bad as the resort is very quaint. If you want a more lively atmosphere, consider the Tryp but request a room far, far from the pool area and on the 2nd floor for more privacy. The best hotel by far is the Melia Cayo Coco but you will also pay considerably more.

Muthu Colonial Hotel: Beautiful Beach, Excellent Staff

Let's start by stating up front, we chose the Colonial because of the price. We were looking for an 'extra' vacation and had been to the resort next door so we knew the beach would be good and were prepared to have a little lower standard for the resort itself. It was a little dated, mostly clean and food was OK (it's Cuba, so we weren't expecting gourmet, so we were happy with what we got). The beach is beautiful, and since that's where we spent 75% of our time the vacation totally met our expectations, we'd have no trouble going back.

Hotel Mojito: Incredible experience!

My fiance and I went to this resort for a week at the beginning of May and the weather was perfect. It was extremely hot every day and never too windy. The beach was spectacular, that beautiful powder white sand that everyone boasts about when traveling to Cuba. We spent all our days at the beach as we couldn't get enough! The staff was very welcoming and friendly, always good service. The nightly entertainment was great as well. Food was extremely good, best I've ever had in Cuba, no complaints [... read more] at all. The a la carte restaurant were great too...especially El Malacon. Would love to go back just to see Yamil there! The rooms were clean and very well looked after, we enjoyed it very much. The pools were great and always clean, and the grounds were exceptionally beautiful. We will likely go back if we ever choose to return to Cayo Coco in the future!

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Simply The Best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The grounds were very clean with lush greenery. The food was amazing, many items to chose from at every meal. Staff was very accommodating and so friendly. Rooms were immaculate with a well-stocked refrigerator every day. Everything was top-notch. By far, the best resort I vacationed at and I've been travelling south since 1996.

clean nice rooms. a few minor problems that were rectified quickly after being informed. better to have food that is cooked in front of you. buffet was questionable.pools were great but the beach wasn't the best. too many rocks

Tryp Cayo Coco: Great Family Resort

Everything about this resort was great, other than the room. Entertainment was awesome! Kids were icluded in entertainment every night which was nice. Food was great, beach was amazing and clean. Very friendly people. The rooms were a little run down but clean. I would reccomend this resort to families with younger children for sure!

Hotel Mojito: Beautiful resort

We were there in Jan 2014. Unfortunately, the weather was cold and rainy. We did not swim as much as we would leave liked. The ground is beautiful. The food was delicious and plentiful. The service was excellent and the entertainment was superb. We particularly liked the ambience atmosphere at the Cigar Lounge. We took only one excursion due to the weather and would like to return in the near future to explore the area.

this was our first time in cuba and we knew what to expect from reading other reviews. the rooms were clean and comfortable but the resort is very spread out, so expect some walking if you are in the outer buildings. the food was ok with lots of selection. service was great most of the time, except when there was a crowd around the lobby bar. they had entertainment every evening that ranged from great to just ok, depending on the show. the ocean was beautiful but there is lots of coral that they [... read more] grind flat but there are still some rough spots, so bring water shoes or wear your sandals in the water. overall we had a great time, but don't expect it to compare to 5 star resorts in other countries.

Tryp Cayo Coco: I have Ben here twice now and intend to go back!

While there were some issues with water one day it was no fault of the hotel. The entire area had issues. Beaches are stunning. Water crystal clear. You could not go away for a weekend for the price I paid to go here. Pools great. Everyone seemed to be having a wonderful time.

Tryp Cayo Coco: Great resort located on a fantastic beach!

The resort is excellent (food, animation, beach and pools). However the rooms need a major renovation, especially on the bathrooms, even if everything is clean. The bungalows are starting to look ruined down from the outside look.

Hotel Playa Paraiso: good value for the money

This is a new resort and yet it has the relaxed casual feel that you expect in Cuba. We have been to Cuba many times and we were pleasantly surprised by the food here.It was plentiful ,with temperature controlled tables at the buffet.We had beef a couple of times and it was very good ....also a good variety fo chicken ,pork and fish. Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Cute and Personable Resort!!

We loved this small resort with all the amenities within a short walk from your room to the beach and to restaurants. Loved the beach buffet for breakfast and lunch right on the beach and right out our patio door. The main buffet was wonderful with a variety of foods cooked to your liking by amazing cooks and without the long lines of a big resort. The staff were amazing and very friendly. The beach was amazing, one of the most beautiful in Cuba with snorkeling off the beach to the coral reef that was spectacular. We will be going back to this little gem of a resort again without a doubt.

Hotel Camino del Mar: Amazing vacation

The hotel is great with nice views wherever you are, and the people are simply amazing, all the employees are amazing and helpful, they were a very important part of the memorable vacation. First time ever that was kind of said to go back home. Will definitely go back!!!

Hotel Mojito: a great hotel

the resort had warm,friendly,and helpful staff. We had hot weather with air conditioned rooms,thank you,grounds well kept,lots of food choices,ate too much dessert and gained a few pounds,i guess i had too many pina coladas too,entertainment during the day and evenings were fabulous,liked to play the pool side games but didn't win a bottle of rum, oh well had lots of wine,more calories,burned the calories doing pool exercises which were a lot of fun,played bingo didn't win the rum,shucks just ha [... read more]d a spanish coffee instead,yummy,i even had an awesome massage,actually it was one of the best i've ever had,and i have had a lot.walking the beach was beautiful and it gave me a workout to burn off the amazing food i ate.have only one complaint,the washroom just right of the main stage was smelly.

I find the resort very clean and the beach and pools are looked after. The staff are hard working people and very pleasant to be around. I have tried other resorts but this one is my favourite. I will return

Starfish Cayo Guillermo: Great place to Kite !

Let's face it, nobody goes to Cuba for a culinary experience. I had heard alot of bad rap about this place but the food wasn't that bad. Nothing to write home about but for a great week of kiting, fresh seafood and fruits will do me just fine.

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: very nice

excellent vacation ,had a great time with wife , family and in laws, food was great,service was great,rooms were a little far off from main buffet but didn't mind afterward because at night time it was the quietest

Muthu Colonial Hotel: amazing resort!

It was a part filled place full of entertainment the staff is very nice and friendly. The rooms are clean. The food is not so great and the chairs are not oversized friendly. I am on the heavy side and the chairs gave my hips bruises.
