Hotel Camino del Mar: Amazing time in Cuba the Melia was perfect

We upgraded to a bungalow and really enjoyed the privacy. The staff are soooooo friendly and eager to please and the resort itself was beautiful. We like it so much that we tried to extend our stay for another week but we were unable to arrange flights.

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Nice resort - good value

Everything went off without a hitch. Paid a little extra for diamond club and weren’t disappointed. From the bus to the resort to the bus back everything was as advertised. We did not have a single issue. I would rate this hotel as a new 4 star with good food and ok beach. For the money very good value.

Hotel Vigia: our 8th visit, or is it nine?

beautiful grounds and beach, views of palm trees and curving shoreline. every year we bring new friends and many of them come again and again. staff is like family wonderfully friendly. reliable food, great omelets and cappucino. this year we were a group of eight: looking forward to next year.

Tryp Cayo Coco: Nice, Clean Resort

We travel a lot and thoroughly enjoyed our time at Tryp. The grounds and rooms are clean. There is an abundance of tasty food. Enjoyed watching the Flamingo's in their pond right off my deck. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a check.

Tryp Cayo Coco: nice time

people were nice and friendly, except front deck resort a little old 20 years but, still ok rooms were clean food good, lots of variety entertainment ok pool was good, beach was clean and very nice good value

Club Caribe Cayo Coco: Excellent Resort

I loved our stay at Club Caribe Cayo Coco. The resort was clean and the staff were amazing. Everything was within walking distance. It was a little slow since it was off season (disco, entertainment).

Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Beaches to die for!!!!!!

we stayed at the caribe first week of april. the resort is small and very comfortable. staff super-the meals great. we love this kind of resort because we go for the weather and the beach. to have great staff who do their best to make you happy and relaxed is a bonus. our room was nice and kept very clean. shows were very entertaining. had one evening meal on the beach and ate at buffet the rest. great beach snack bars for noon meal so you dont have to leave beach. Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: Absolutely fabulous!

From the front hotel reception, to the grounds and the rooms, it was lovely. The buffet was delicious and there was always something for everyone. The whole resort was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Tryp Cayo Coco: Amazing Resort

Totally loved this resort, the people are friendly, the beach is awesome, the food was very good. Our room looked over an area of palm trees out to the beach which was very beautiful!! I really liked the size of the resort where you could walk from the lobby to the beach in about 5 minutes. We also had access to the Sol Melia down the beach which was a nice walk. I would definitely return to this resort!!

I went to this resort with my 11 year old son and we both had a great time. The only thing I wasn't happy about was that there isn't much activities or excursions for children his age. But we still had a great time and he didn't seem to mind, we both went swimming every day either at the beach or pool. Food was ok, resort and staff were awesome.

Hotel Playa Paraiso: A wonderful Resort

My husband and I spent 11 nights at Pestana, Cayo Coco in Nov.2013. Very friendly efficient staff and management always checking that things were running smoothly.. Good selection of food and attentive servers. Great evening shows and fun entertainment in the lobby on a wet day. Lovely rooms, not much of a view from room 5216 but good situation in the resort, close to everything. Our maid service was excellent, everything was kept fully stocked. Coral at waters edge on beach but 2 min walk then  [... read more]sandy. Clean beach and clear warm water, perfect for swimming. Lots of loungers on the beach and at the pool which was pleasant due to soft music. Good food at 24 hour snack bar but service a little slow...relax and enjoy the music. The 24 hour Bar in the lobby has fast and friendly Barmen and waiters. Sunwing flight was delayed 5 hours, not impressed with that. Arrived at resort at 2a.m. Quick check in, luggage delivered to our room. A wonderful holiday, we will return. Because of the coral at waters edge, I rate the beach/pool a 3 star but pool is a 4 star.

Melia Cayo Coco: What a break!!

We were looking for somewhere quiet to relax, we found it. But there were lots of activities that we took part in and enjoyed. The staff at the resort are all fantastic, you couldn't ask for better service. The food was very good and so were the drinks. The beach was always clean and you could walk for miles if you wished, or just lay back and read a book. This was our first time in Cuba and everything lived up to our expectations. The resort is nice and close to the airport and we were in our room within 45 min. of landing. I would say that this was one of our most enjoyable vacations ever, and we would definitely go back again. Everybody from the staff to the guests made this a wonderful experience.

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: The best I've ever experienced!

The bad: ... Nada! The good: From the moment you arrive until the moment you leave, you are made to feel as if you are family. Staff outstanding, v. good service, food v. good. A real dream come true!

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort: disapointing

The rooms were great and very clean. The beach was not nice at all. It was very rough to get in and out of the water due to all the coral. Because of the coral the beach is no very big and extremely crowded, we had to go for a swim and then go back to the pool area to sit, where there was not enough shade.

Muthu Colonial Hotel: Old, beautiful

Old world charm but it has seen its better days. Is in the process of renovating but has a lot of work to do. Rooms were very clean and the open air lobby area is great. Would go bacl agin but would have to get a better deal than we got last time. Beach was perfect.

Don't get me wrong this is a great resort, they checked us in on the bus so when we arrived, had our welcome reception and were given the keys to our rooms, we arranged this trip for 15 people and wanted everything to go good. The first few days it rained part of the day, I've been to Cuba before and expected a fun time but understand that weather change's that. I love to get involved with activities and after a few day of no entertainment I was starting to wonder if they had any at all. Managem [... read more]ent decided 2 days in a row not to open the pool bar and there were no entertainers to be found, that's when we had enough and complained to management. The entertainment only got started after 3 day's at the resort, we felt like we only vacationed for half the week at full price. This resort needs to pay more attention to why people vacation in the first place, if I wanted a quite resort I would asked for one. We did make the best of the remaining few days, our group was the most involve in all the activities and at the end of the vacation was known to all the other guests ( I myself was voted the sexiest man on the resort :) ) If management paid more attention to the entertainment staff I would of recommended this resort. I think the only way I would travel to this resort again would be if it was free. The food was good for Cuba and the resort was clean.

Hotel Vigia: This resort ROCKS

Just don't hesitate. I had 4 daughters, my mom and myself, all female and we had a great time, the entertainment was fun. It was a little windy but other than that it was great, the food was better than any other place I have been in Cuba!

Sol Cayo Coco: Great Beach!

Friendly atmosphere and staff. Rooms were OK but the food left to be desired. That is the only thing that would stop me from going back another time. I did like that it was a resort on the smaller side.

Hotel Mojito: Not Impressed

The beach was nice & the resort has potential but I'm being generous by giving a 3 rating. There was a different problem with our room every day, including water leaking thru our ceiling, door handle falling off, no hot water & poor A/C. There was very little variety with the meals. They had one wonderful dinner by the pool one night that we quite enjoyed. We ate in the buffet most nights because there was only one a la carte rest. & it was booked full most nights.
