Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Great Beach, terrible Customer Service!

I was part of a large group and the issues we had are too numerous to list here. There was no customer service from the resort management, the wedding co-ordinator, or the Air Transat rep. Pros were the beach and the grounds, rooms were ok and food was decent. The management at this resort do not care about your experience once they have your money. We heard way too many times that this was not their problem or come back in a couple hours and we will fix it. After three straight days of hearing  [... read more]this we gave up.

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: First Class All The Way!!

From the delicious food to the clean room (housekeeping visits twice daily), the beautiful beach, friendly staff and the many activities offered by the hotel, this resort was amazing!! Did I mention how good the food was?? Best I've experienced at an all-inclusive yet!! The excursions available we're fantastic as well. Will definitely be going back!

Bahia Principe Grand Samana Roulette: Good Trip

This resort has amazing views from other resorts we have visited. The staff and other vacationers were very friendly. Kudos to Alex with all his energy and good energy that he passes on to everyone. Keep up the good work as you will go places. Grounds are very well kept. Rooms are showing their wear and time for an update. The beds are very hard and need to be replaced. Overall great time and will visit again!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Absolutely amazing!

Everything was perfect! Food was awesome and no shortage of it. We went to 2 a la carte restaurants and they were fabulous! Lots of little snack bars handy to everything. Rooms were great, could have used a mop on the floors though. Lots of trolleys to the beach & shopping. Loved loved loved it!

Largest complex that I have chosen to stay in and was impressed with the convenience of all the activities...BEST BEACH EVER!!!!!!!!!Food was amazing... On site employees did a great job of entertaining and enjoying the guests.

The Eurostars Grand Cayacoa: Bahia Principe in Samana, DR

Everywhere we went, the grounds were spotless. The staff were so much fun and always there to help. There was a huge variety of foods to choose from and everything was so fresh. The rooms were big and clean. The views from this location were spectacular.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: 100% full but still perfectly maintained!

The resort was completely booked up which was expected fro Easter week, but because of the enormous size, I never felt crowded. I was really impressed by how well it ran with the crowds. I did not encounter ONE rude, or even unfriendly employee. The only "problem" encountered was one attempt to eat breakfast in the adult side with my 16 year old, and on that day she was politely and apologetically told she couldn't eat there. Special commendation to our maid who ran to the lobby to find me befor [... read more]e I got on the bus to leave---I left a drawer full of clothes and a fanny pack---she wanted to make sure I got it before I left. The staff was Excellent! We left tips throughout the week. If you want the best service, be pleasant, smile, TIP. I saw a few demanding guest ordering staff around at the breakfast buffet. Even then I noticed the staff remained composed. The only staff suggestion: Have the waitstaff complete the meals in the ala carte restaurants. Several tmes they just served and faded away. Maybe that's typical of all inclusives?

Bahia Principe Grand San Juan: Great vacation for everyone

Five of us travelled to this resort April 1-8, 2015. My grandparents, my husband, my son, and I. We had a nice and relaxing holiday. There was a lot to do. The animation team was very friendly and busy with volleyball, archery, bingo, water exercises, yoga, etc. My husband took part, but I'm 6 months pregnant and really just wanted to lay back and relax by the pool with my 14 month old boy. They also enjoyed the night entertainment. My son LOVED the main pool, where he could just walk in until he got deep enough for his comfort. He was swimming (with help of his water wings) by the end of the week. The room was dated and a little smaller than what I've had at other resorts, but it was clean. I was told that all of the suites are in the "A" block, which are those closest to the beach. We had a beautiful view of the beach. We were pretty far away from the lobby. They had originally given us two bedrooms with a door connecting them... I spoke to Juan Reyes in guest services on our second day, and he put us in the suite that we had booked. My grandparents were next to us and had to move closer to the lobby, as my grandfather needs a wheelchair for a distance like that. They were very accommodating. The food was good. We always found something to eat. We all enjoyed the omelette station. The staff at the restaurants were super accommodating to us. They loved our baby, and kept him smiling and laughing during every meal. It was a very nice trip.. The only thing is that it was a little dated. I hear they're closing May 5th until sometime in October to upgrade, so I'm sure that after their renovations it will be just perfect. I would recommend this resort for couples of any age, and families. There is something for everyone.

Cayo Levantado Resort: Beautiful Resort

The Luxury Bahia Principe Cayo Levantado is truly a luxury resort. It is situated on an island surrounded by lush, tropical forest and gardens. We had a Superior Junior Suite with a breathtaking view of the ocean. The room was beautiful and spacious. The restaurants served delicious food and the drinks were refreshing. Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Great resort

Had a great holiday but was marred but a number of minor issues. Never had the full complement of towels etc. everyday something was short. Tried 3 times to get the patio door fixed as my wife was unable to open or close it. Spent 5 days to get the honeymoon package that was promise. Also the bed was in danger of collapsing as the footboard was separating from the posts, numerous requests to fix this were ignored. Pools were great but beaches were disappointing.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: The Ultimate Experience

The entire resort was the ABSOLUTE PARADISE. I will be a return vacationer!! My family and my 4 year old enjoyed every aspect of the resort including the friendly staff and the Amazing food. Entertainment was well done

Cayo Levantado Resort: Absolutely amazing and beautiful resort

The resort was private and fantastic in every way. We had no complaints at all. The room, restaurants, staff, grounds etc were above and beyond my expectations. I am not a resort kind of person and have had some bad experiences at other resorts. We will be coming back to this resort for sure next year. The travellers and management photos were spot on...to be honest the management photos were most like the resort is like than the travellers photos. Very impressed with every part of our stay.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. Very well maintained. Food is great, a wide variety of food. Rooms are beautiful and spacious. Staff is very helpful and courteous. There is always someone around to help.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Beautiful resort, great food, but bad setup!

We travelled with my 6 month old baby girl, my parents and my husbands parents. A few things to take note of: - it's a beautifully kept resort, very clean, view in the room was amazing but you have to upgrade to the diamond club to get the best views of the ocean. On the downside to the upgrade, you are further away from the beach and it's quite a walk to get there, especially with a stroller! - food was amazing! Best food I've had and we been to Jamaica 9 times. Went to one a la carte which wa [... read more]s the Japanese and it was wonderful - if you don't tip house keeping you won't get towels. We had no problem as we consider ourselves good tippers and tip the house keeping daily but my in-laws like to tip at the end of the week and they didn't get the same level of service as we did. - the absolute worst part of the trip was the harassment you got from the employees trying to sell you timeshare. It's beyond annoying! My in-laws went to their "45 minute tour", they were gone for over 2hrs and said it was very intrusive. Once you get a bracelet from the rep, keep it on all week and then will leave you alone. - another tip, upgrade to Mobay club at the airport. Well worth the money as you by-pass customs and some times you could be waiting in a very hot airport, in line for over 2hrs Would I return to the Bahia, probably not, as we preferred the Rui over this chain.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: lovely resort

staff awesome,grounds spotless,food very good,room although at times damp (maybe a dehumidifier) was lovely. Could have used consistent room cleaning and stocking of mini bar,dirty sheets left on the floor one day near the end of the stay. Lovely towel animals in the first 3 days but none after that. An altercation between management and a guest took place in the lobby in front of the check in desk ,the guest was loud and rude. Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Great resort and weather

Ambar was the nicest section of the report and is highly recommended. Good food, great wait staff and polls. Only drawback was hotel staff only recommended off site excursions to affiliated organizations.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Great Stay

Offered all that you would expect from a five star in Mexico. Very friendly and clean. Awesome food. Awesome weather. Totally happy with our stay. Very large resort but easy to get around. Just over an hour from Cancun Airport.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Amazing holiday!

The hotel itself was great; grounds super! Staff really nice and helpful. Ran out of towels a few days - perhaps there should be a dedicated area for the Royal Club clients for towels. Other than that it was very busy but absolutely no problem in our case.

Very enjoyable stay, great service, friendly staff, very clean and well kept facilities. The weather was great, and there were lots of activities. The hotel provided transportation around the resort was very helpful

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Fantastic resort!!

Stayed here 12 years ago on my honeymoon and the resort met all my expectations the second time around. Brought my mom on this trip and she couldn't have been happier.....absolutely loved the resort!! My husband and I are planning a two week vacation in Jan of 2016 and the Bahia Principe Club and Resorts are high on our list to return.
