Las Brisas Huatulco: Enjoyed our stay

Very nice and huge property: big and green with many stairs, but golf carts will deliver you quickly to almost any place. Beautiful views. Great beach with very good opportunity for snorkeling right there - some days are better, some worse but still really impressing when this is right at hotel property. Free water sports activities.If you will be looking for shaded place - you will need to reserve the beach-beds before 7 a:m. Towel service from 9-5 only. Very clean property: rooms, beach, par [... read more]k or other facilities. Nice and sincerely glad to help staff. We were very happy to tip, which they deserved 110%. Very often really amazing. Unfortunately, not always enough staff to serve and often no very fluent in English, but not critical. Had some issues with A/C and water, but all was completely fixed during 2 hours, which was really amazing. Average food: fresh, but nothing special or fancy. La-carte restaurants - nothing special - may be easily skipped. Not much to see in the area, especially if this is not your first time in Mexico. Very few young people and families with kids, mostly preferred place for mature couple/groups. Many people coming there not once and love the place.

Grand Park Royal Cancun: Winter 2020 Vacation

The hotel is beautiful, clean and the staff... all of them, were extremely helpful and kind and polite. The beach and weather was beautiful, but it was windy during our trip so we were not able to swim in the ocean due to the strong current. Food was good, especially the snack shacks. Buffet was mediocre but you could always find something to eat. Café with coffee, sweets and fresh fruit was delicious. Drinks and bar staff were amazing. Our room was in the villas. Krystal Grand Cancun: Great value; gorgeous stretch of beach; fabulous care

We loved our time here (the 2nd week of January). We were taken care of really well by the generous staff, and felt at ease in the space. It’s a smaller resort, which we appreciated — well laid out with lots of places to be, in or out of the sun. Two different pools, with two different energies! :) Food was quite good. Zero complaints. We appreciated the local families who were also enjoying the resort, and people from many other countries. You can walk for miles on this beach,  [... read more]and the little corner of the Reflect’s was peaceful and more swimmable for timid ocean folk than the rest. We had fun playing volleyball in and out of the pool, and enjoyed the simple evening entertainment. We were sad to leave and will return.

Marival Emotions Resort and Suites Riviera Nayarit: Family fun

This was our third family vacation at the Marival and a great time was had by all. Marival is family friendly, staff is exemplary, efficient, and always helpful! We had special requests due to allergies and all a la cart chefs and captains were venry accommodating. Entertainment was family friendly and enjoyed by all. Cleaning staff and gardeners do a great job of keeping the place in tip top shape! We had a lovely vacation!

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Good Resort

The Barcelo Colonial was a decent hotel. The grounds were well kept and the beach was exceptional (probably the highlight of our trip). White sand and lots for the kids to see and do (including snorkeling and seeing turtles). The waves were a lot of fun for the kids to play in. The pools were huge and well kept and the kids really enjoyed the water park. I would rate the rooms as just OK. You can tell it is an older resort and had some mildew/mold in the rooms at times and musty smell. I  [... read more]found the beds uncomfortable. The food was just OK. Breakfast having the most variety and best meal of the day. They do no offer anything but bottom shelf alcohol which they claim they are a 4/5* resort. Some of the waiters and/or bartenders were not as friendly as others (whereas some went above and beyond) and felt it was a hassle to serve you. Overall the kids had a great time, but probably would not go back to this resort again.

Marival Emotions Resort and Suites Riviera Nayarit: Good for the price

Nice hotel , food was good but not great..Birds were a problem at the outside food restaurants. Really great a la carte options. Friendly staff and great location. Have been here twice but will try somewhere else next time to switch it up.

Grand Sunset Princess: Average resort that could have been incredible

This resort needs a little refreshing and minor touchups including paint and small repairs. It had a great layout with soooo many pools and swimup bars! The lush landscape with walkways surrounded by mature palm trees was beautiful. A little more garden work/clean up would make it absolutely incredible though. There were alot of dead palm branches hanging precariously overhead and many tree limbs and branches on walkways and all over the grounds every morning. On the plus side though, there was  [... read more]alot of wildlife-monkeys, coatis, iguanas, we even saw 2 deer the morning of our departure! We were fortunate enough to have a swim out room (with an awesome maid Ana Maria!) but because it was on the Grand Sunset side and in February, the water was quite cold because it didn't get much sun. This would be an asset in April though I imagine! Another unfortunate thing was that there weren't a lot of shade choices around any of the sunny parts of the pools. The shaded areas had gazebos but there were practically none in the sunny areas and no umbrellas anywhere. The beach was incredible really, lots of opportunity to walk in either direction and only a few timeshare guys. The gym was one of the best I've ever used, with lots of classes to choose from every day. The evenings were very disappointing for couples, no music anywhere, no one singing, no evening entertainment at all really. There were family shows each night that some people we met really enjoyed. Lastly, the food....who could ever complain? There were lots of choices at the buffetts at every meal and great service at each setting. We only did one a la carte and it wasn't good at all but we have always preferred the buffets anyway. Overall, this resort was good value for the money but was only average in terms of it's condition, cleanliness and below average for entertainment.

Kore Tulum Retreat Wellness Resort: Kore is Pure Zen

Fabulous resort nestled between the town of Tulum, the Mayan Ruins and the totally hip area of Boca Paila. Kore views of the Carribean Sea are 2nd to none. The rooms are large and luxurious. The menus are varied and the food is quite good and because Kore is a 90-room resort, there are never any line-ups for anything. The staff are excellent and respectful of your privacy while also being very attentive. Kore is a totally zen experience. We'll be back.

Dreams Huatulco: Love this resort, except....

All great, except one thing - which we felt important. People were allowed to basically send someone out at 5am to reserve maybe 6 prime chairs (with umbrellas) around the pools, or on the beach. These were then unavailable to anyone else for the entire day. Same people holding the same chairs - every day, all week. The resort needs to fix this, or we will not be back.

Paradisus Cancun: Another great stay at Paradisus Cancun!

Just returned from a one week stay, Feb 2-9th and were not disappointed. This our 3rd stay and the first time for our friends who we travelled with. They loved it and were impressed with how clean the resort is kept, the amazing staff, the beautiful lobby, location and the hotel in general. Everyone works so hard to make a favorable impression and it truly shows. A big shout out to some extra special people, David and Victor at the swim up pool bar who always took the time to chat and made sure [... read more] we had what we needed. Also Augustin who got people involved in the daily activities..even Finger Painting! 😁 The only thing we would like to see is a great Italian ala carte restaurant / wooden oven pizza. Maybe next time... 😉

Barcelo Maya Palace: Excellent!

Fantastic resort with superb staff. Everything we experienced from the food to the pools was more than you could wish for! I would recommend this resort to any family looking for a five-star resort on the Riviera Maya.

Just spent a week at this resort and we loved it! I have been to many resorts and this one is definitely one we will return to. Room was clean maid was very good. Grounds are beautiful staff was friendly and always helpful. Pools and beach amazing. Resort has everything you would need for all ages .. The entertainment was good ! We stayed in the colonial section that was nice because it’s central to everything we took the time to check out all the section and they are all beautiful definitely we will return!!

Riu Palace Pacifico: Amazing resort!

The resort was very clean, the room was spacious and the staff was fantastic. We enjoyed all of the meals at the specialty restaurants and the buffet did not disappoint. The beach was awesome and it was just a short walk to Bucerías.

Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Beautiful resort

Beach,and resort were beautiful,staff always helpful and friendly. Loved the beach bar service. The buffet food was full of variety and very good ,lots of seafood choices. We were disappointed in the speciality restaurants that we tried Roma and Japanese nothing special however steak house was good. We would go back again ,even though my hubby got sick ,tested positive for salmonella...but that could happen anywhere in tropics. El Dorado Seaside Suites: Great Resort that can be amazing

So many good things to say about rooms and facilities and events that all added up to a fantastic getaway. In absence of a litany of small service glitches bI would call this perfect. eg the concierge suggested we pick a time for our room cleaning which we did but then it was never done within 3 hours of that time. Dinner serving staff (though all friendly) varied widely in their serving skills. These were less concerning than surprising given the service from all other staff. Barcelo Maya Colonial: Great family resort!

Resort is huge with lots of stuff to do for everyone! Pools are amazing along with the beach! Food was good with good a la cartes. Only disappointment was the uncomfortable beds, poor air circulation and mould in the bathroom.

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Great resort

Clean hotel, amazing food and service. Beach was fabulous with lots of choices of beds with excellent butler service. So many pools to choose from but want to get there early for a lounge chair. Excellent butler service!

Riu Santa Fe: Not what i expected

The booking VIA tripcentral was amazing. Great service resort was not that good. Food below mediocre. Definitely a party resort and not as calm as i would have liked. The beach in los cabos is more dangerous than they want to tell us. you can not swim in the ocean making it a less desirable destination than other areas. I paid extra for the ocean-view room and had no ocean-view at all. will definitely never return to RIU SANTA FE. i would definetly book with Arrif Khan again he was splendid!!!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Awesome Resort

I recently stayed at grand principe Tulum with a large group of people and we had an absolute blast! The service / staff were warm and friendly. The food was great and the ambiance was positive and fun. I would certainly recommend in the future !

El Dorado Maroma: Perfect vacation Place for Us

Spent a week In February 2020, and it was one of the very most enjoyable all inclusive resorts we have been to. Service and food were great and we could not believe how beautiful the beach was. If you like quiet, peaceful , serene 5 star vacations, this might be the place to go. Mind you , there are no elevators, and not a lot of night activities.
