Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Best Resort

Everything about Luzury Bahia Principe is amazing. This was our second stay, first time was June 2016 and now Feb 2018. The staff, activities, property, rooms, drinks and food are all excellent. There are so many great a la cart options (do the gourmet!). They offer so many activities like water balloon fights in the pool, ping pong, huge chess, pool basketball, pool volleyball, water aerobics, poolside bingo, archery, tennis, basketball and so much more! On the flip side if you prefer to veg poolside and enjoy nothing more than the sun and peace and quiet with a drink in hand, they also have pools that are more relaxed with no music. Sian kaan is the best. I would highly recommend!

Grand Riviera Princess: Good Resort

Although I would consider this Resort a 4 or 4.5 star rating, there were some areas that either needed improvement or takes away from the overall experience but it depends on what you are looking for. Way tooooooo many animals on the resort, an iquana jumped on my head when I was sleeping on a lounge chair, very unsettleing and I could not relax the rest of the week. Too many other anmials such as cats, and whatever that other animal is that roams around the garbage, etc. In addition, the bed was so uncomfortable I slept on the couch two nights. Overall I thought it was a decent resort but now looking at my comments once I have written them down, I would not recommend this resort to friends. Too large for anyone who does not want to walk a fair distance for everything. The beach was at least a mile from the main lobby.

Grand Sunset Princess: Will not go back anytime soon !

The beach bed was more comfortable than the one in the room. Although tipping the room maid, did not had always the coffee supposed to be delivered. The food , with one evening exception, was at best average. And this includs the a la carte restaurants. In one such restaurants we waited for half an hour to get even a drink of any sorts and the restaurant was half empty . The same feeling we had from friends that had been there recently.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Nice resort, service not up to par

This was a very nice resort, great pools, lots of bars and restaurants. The rooms were great, everything about it was perfect except for the service. The staff there were not very friendly and the service overall was poor. It was consistently poor in every bar and restaurant, though there were a couple that seemed to care less than others. It was felt by many people I spoke to and on several occasions I wondered if I was actually invisible as bar staff literally ignored people waiting at the [... read more] bar while they chose to fuss around wiping down counters etc. At times it was laughable, but actually very annoying.

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: All needs were met

We had an amazing stay at Valentin Imperial Maya. Service was excellent. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Above and beyond for customer service. Food was spectacular. We had a guest in our group who is celiac and they crafted a letter for her to present at each restaurant so they would know. The chef often came out to confirm what she could eat and sometimes offered to make something off menu! Great activities offered by an enthusiastic events staff who seemed to remember everyone's names despite there being hundreds of people coming and going. We would go back tomorrow if we could.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Exceptional resort!

We have travelled throughout the Caribbean. This was our first time to Mexico. To say the Sian Ka'an at the Luxury Bahia Principe exceeded our expectations is an understatement. It is smaller than the other 3 Bahia Principe resorts surrounding it and set "off beach" in the jungle. It was beautiful and tranquil. A trolley car system (we never waited more than 10 minutes) took us to any of the other resorts within minutes. It was the best kept beach section in the area - a crew of resort employees worked all day every day to remove the seaweed that washed ashore and they were constantly raking the sand. The resort itself is only 6 years old and beautiful in every aspect. The rooms are large and have high-end finishes that I've not seen in an all inclusive style resort. The employees at the Siam Ka'an were friendly, and genuine in their efforts to provide exceptional service. From the bar servers, to the cleaning staff, we were always met with an "Ola" and friendly smile. I can't say enough about how awesome our experience was. Paridise found! We will definitely be back.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Wonderful Hotel!!

I would think that you would find it difficult to find anything wrong with this hotel. The Hotel was one of the best that our group has travelled to and we have been travelling together for 22 years. The hotel was spotless, from your hotel room, dining halls, restaurants to the public washrooms, it was so clean. The gardens were spectacular , they were always working away on the outdoor space and even kept the walkways tidy...what an amazing hotel. The pools were amazing and fun to splash around in, and of course from the pool swim up bar to the lobby bar, to the beach bar we enjoyed the variety of drinks made, and always with a smile!! We cannot say enough about the food, the buffet was grand with a great variety of food and we did have the opportunity to eat at the Japanese, Mexican and Steakhouse and loved them all. This is definitely a place we will be returning too....Amazing staff that was always smiling and polite....LOVED IT!!!

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Luxury Bahia Principe Sian Khan

The service and food at the Sian Khan was excellent. The rooms are starting to show their age and needs updating ie retiling, needs to add storage. We stayed 10 days...at the end the trolley ride to the beach starts to get to you. The grounds are well maintained and exceptional. Its a golfers paradise.

Platinum Yucatan Princess: Very good resort

Hotel was very nice,the ground was very nice, the pool was great water temperature was perfect and food at la carte was great.The buffet was fair. The service at the restaurant was great the buffet could improve a bit..

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Resort for everyone

Transpo: confusing pickup at airport. Loaded into taxi vans based on resort. We watched many load while we waited an hour. Given a taxi chit for return trip. Did not realise the chit had details for Transat welcome time. Hotel Reception: fast and welcoming but no info was passed about Transat welcome. Easy check out. Friendly. Room: very clean, well stocked with water, towels etc. Comfortable beds and AC. Quiet. Food: Very good. Excellent selection of a la carte restos. Downside, resto [... read more]s filled quickly so placed on a waitlist. Grounds: well kept, pools were great. Pleasant that there was no food being brought out of restos to mess up the grounds. Beach: Very Unsatisfactory. Do not recommend resort for someone wanting a beach vacation. Very significant swath of weeds line the hotel’s entire beach front. Significant weeds also floating in the water. Most unpleasant. Not used. Vacationeers: Good mix; families, old and young. A few partiers. Party Atmosphere: Pool with bar and swim up bar were hub of activity during the day. Other pools quiet. There were shows in the evening but we did not attend. Smoking: Smoking permitted outdoors, thus at the pool too. Not plesant for non smokers. Thankful no smoking is restos. Airtransat: Good flights. Two reps worked in the reception area during the day. Welcome reception was not attended because it’s time and location was not communicated well. Over all experience and vacation was very good but I would not recommend hotel due to the unplesant state of the beach front.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Seaweed battle

Resort was good but an army of staff fought a loosing battle with seaweed every morning. Some days, the majority of the beach area were inundated by seaweed. Staff was great and food was good. Immaculate grounds

Grand Oasis Riviera: Great resort

I really enjoyed the smaller resort. Food was good, room was perfect and beach was nice. The staff were all very friendly. Yes we had to wait in line for buffet but it was not too long. We were a large group and they did a good job accommodating all of us. I had a hot water issue but it was dealt with within few hours. Over all...fabulous vacation with my family! Would definitely come back to this resort! My only recommendation would be to have music playing at the pool and more fun pool parti [... read more]es.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Fabulous Resort

We have just returned from spending a week at the Iberostar Paraiso Beach Resort in Mexico. It is a beautiful resort with friendly competent staff who are more than eager to make your stay a positive experience. Our room was lovely, beach fabulous(a little windy during our stay), pools are endless. Food was amazing, many thanks to Alicia for getting our group of 21 into the restaurants. No complaints about this resort. Great experience

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Fun times!

The resort was beautiful! The swans, peacocks and pink Flamingos were beautiful! Good food at buffet and the Japanese restaurant was good, and the LaHaciende was really good. The Salmon at La Puerto restaurant was the best! The only down was I had asked for king bed and to be close to my granddaughters so they could see when they wanted, that did not happen. The front desk was was totally unsympathetic as they had given our room away for the king size bed. Grand Sunset Princess: The resort is very nice

Room and ground are awesome especially for walking and an abundant amount of pools. The beach is not good it all. Breakfast was amazing lots of fresh fruits and salads where great too, the rest of the food was not so good.the buffet restaurants where under staffed. Sunwing needs to improve a lot on updating delays as we set in Can cun airport for 4 hours

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Excellent once again!

We arrived around noon, check in was quick and our room was ready, very happy! We have been to this resort two times already so know what to expect and they did not disappoint. When we booked with our travel agent we had asked for a few things and our requests were done. Grounds are beautiful, food was great, the Japanese restaurant could use more waiters.Entertainment was varied and pretty good. Bahia Principe Explore Coba: OK resort

AC in my room leaked on my clothes making them wet and unwearable for a day. Felt like a second class citizen when I was asked to leave area of beach reserved for those who paid more $. Food just ok. I paid a lot because it was Feb break so I've had a lot better for a lot less $. Not terrible. But not great.

Grand Sunset Princess: Beautifull Resort

Very nice Hotel. Beautiful grounds and vegetation. Room and housekeeping excellent. Specially enjoyed the beach. Superb location. This resort is on our top 3 list. Probably will return in the near future.

Hotel Xcaret Mexico: Amazing resort.

One of a kind, unbelievable! Everyone should take the time to stay at this awesome resort. The rooms, the workers, the pools, the food, the river, unbeatable! They all treat you like royalty and work so hard. The best resort we're EVER stayed at in all our travels. Recommend it to everyone! 10 stars !!

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Stunning Resort!

We stayed 2 weeks at this beautiful modern resort. Had our wedding on Valentine's Day along with 12 of our family members in attendance. The wedding turned out perfect for us with no complaints. Everyone had a wonderful time at the resort. The food was beyond our expectations! Thanks to Kassandra and the rest of the entertainment team for doing an amazing job every day, always energetic and fun! The bartenders and staff were very friendly and attentive.
