Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Nice memory from Memories Caribe Cayo Coco-Cuba

June 2024 My wife and I spent 7 days at Memories Caribe Cayo Coco resort in Cuba. Weather was perfect, room was nice and the beach….perfect! The only big complain is not the food, which anyone knows how it is ….hey, is Cuba, but flies were everywhere on the food! Not one or two but LOTS of them. We have intended to eat lots of fruits but forget it! No air conditioned in the main buffet, spoons and forks we waited at the empty table to be served with. Happily we didn’t miss the eggs which saved our lunch daily. Now let’s talk the positive part which saved our entire moral for the whole vacation. I am talking about excellent, very nice and kind persons like Cowan Marin Yanelis from public relation office, or Mme Yusmilba from BEANS Café who made REAL coffee for us, greeting you always with a smile on her face, polite and professional approach. Also Alisnei the barman on the beach was excellent, polite, always with a smile and greeting you. Junior also from BITES was doing excellent ton or chicken sandwiches! Miguel from Route 66, thank you for all your super drinks! In conclusion guys you will choose if you go or not I have told you only my experience for this trip. At the end I want to congratulate AIT TRANSAT which had done an excellent flight but their aircrafts were real luxury with leather seats and chair screens, Thank you to the stewardess OCEANE who proved to me and my wife an real professional employee and a very nice character .GO FOR IT AIR TRANSAT!!!Keep doing the same excellent job. Melia Cayo Coco: We loved the Melia

Everything was kept spotless while we were there, the people including all the workers were excellent to my husband and I. The breakfast in the morning was the best as our table was always set and we went off to pick up what we liked for breakfast . Sanctuary White Sands: Enjoyable Get Away to Sanctuary Whitesands

Newer hotel so everything is clean and fresh. What's best about Cuba are the people and they didn't disappoint. As the hotel is new some of the staff I don't think have a good idea of what to do; most evident in the snack bar. Probably not their fault as I suspect a training issue. Iberostar Origin Playa Pilar: Iberostar Playa Pilar

The resort was absolutely beautiful. Grounds were beautifully kept. Rooms were very clean. The dinning room for the buffet was a quite warm -a/c was not working properly during our week stay and had a lot of flies flying around our table and bothering our mealtimes. The beach was absolutely amazing and tranquil..spent most of our day there instead of pool decl/ The pools' temperatures were way too warm and needed more cleaning as algue was clouding the water. Tryp Cayo Coco: A wonderfull resort

I have been many times to this resort the staff are wonderful go out of there way for you best beach in the world rooms are old but clean food I was always able to find something I liked remember it's Cuba and you get what you pay for I will be returning thank you tryp

Grand Aston Cayo Paredon Beach Resort: Amazing, clean, beautiful

We loved everything about this hotel, people, cleanliness, availability of everything, pools, beach, entertainment . No complaints. Have made some lifelong friends with a few staff. Will definitely return

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Love the Daiquiri

Resort was beautiful! Nice and small for those with younger children or for those that don't want to walk lots to get from point A to point B. Lobby was beautiful and open. Rooms were clean and bed comfortable. Beach was AMAZING. Lots of chairs and shade. Food was good but flies were terrible!! Staff were so friendly especially the lady working the beach bar...knew our name by her next shift. I would 100% recommend this hotel for a relaxing vacation. Look forward to going back again soon!

Vila Gale Cayo Paredon: Very good resort

I picked this location because of the outstanding fishing opportunities in Paredon and this hotel is in an ideal spot to take advantage of this. This hotel met all of my expectations. The facility is new. The lounge/common areas were spacious and had a nice open exposure to the outdoors while offering shelter from the tropical sun and showers. Memories Caribe Beach Resort: Best resort for the Cayo Coco beach!

Had a great time at this resort once again! Fantastic clean beach with no seaweed with tuquoise waters. Unlike other resorts, there was no shortage of food and the pastas, stirfries with chicken, beef or pork, always tasty. Breakfast eggs done your way a great welcome to the day in the morning. No issues with my room. Staff always did a fantastic job with entertainment and games at the beach, pool, and theatre. Frontdesk helpful to answer any questions. Grand Aston Cayo Paredon Beach Resort: Great Resort!

This is a great resort, great beach, food was average but still a big variety of beef stirfry, pork, chicken, lamb, fresh eggs every morning, bacon, beans, rice, pasta, fresh fish on the grill, fresh fruits mango, watermelon, papaya, guava, pineapple, ice cream, and of course assortment of cuban deserts. Rooms were clean, water everyday, definitely bring mosquito spray and afterbite!!!! Over all great resort would definitely go back again!!!

Gran Muthu Imperial: Never again

First (and last) time staying st the Gran Muthu imperial in Cuba last week. Hotel is run down, checked into a room that stank like mold, took some convincing but eventually got another room. Housekeeping didn’t change the sheets the entire week, same with towels and pool towels. Food was sparse and very repetitive (I understand it’s Cuba and bad food is to be expected). Pools were dirty

Melia Cayo Coco: Tammy beamish

What an amazing agent to deal with. She was so experienced and friendly. Thank you for helping us with our trip to Cuba. Melia Cayo coco was lovely. We will co to use to call Tammy for all our travel needs. She is the reason our trip was so successful.

Grand Aston Cayo Paredon Beach Resort: Nice Resort for the money

Nice place, still on the newer side. Very clean and well kept, Rooms are nice and clean, comfortable beds. Ice cold AC. Great view from 7109. Great maid service. The staff overall was very friendly. The beach was fantastic. Our trip was at the beginning of the low season so the resort was not full at all. Never an issue with pool loungers or palapas at the beach. Great for beginners. The water was never rough and very shallow really far out. Crystal clear water. The food was not fantastic and yes there were some shortages but we always had plenty of choices and plenty to eat. I am not sure I have ever heard of anyone going to for the food. We went into knowing what to expect and everything was fine. Do bring mosquito repellent, and use lots of it. They are like commando mosquitos down there. This was a perfect fit for the price, you couldn't beat it. 7 days on that beach was perfect. Don't plan on doing any extra curricular activities though. the resort is basically in the middle of nowhere. But again we knew that going in. Would we go back, yes, for the price we paid for sure. The beach alone is worth every penny.

Iberostar Coral Esmeralda: Swim up is wonderful

It was a beautiful resort. We saw groundskeepers every morning taking care of the property. In 7 days we went to the beach 3 days and after the beach, the swim up outside our room. I think that was our favourite part, which was why we spent all the other days at the swim up. The staff were all helpful, amazingly friendly and kind. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Water pressure was challenging sometimes, but it was only for a short period of time and then back to normal. The rooms w [... read more]ere clean and quite large. Lots of room to move around. We probably could have had a dance party. The food was fine. Several guests brought condiments from home, like peanut butter, jam, ketchup as they aren’t usual items that are available in Cuba. Crazy thing….cigars were not available at the cigar bar. There were none. The gift shop was independently run and the person that ran it was never there. Sometimes the light was on, the sign said open and the door was locked. The resort has no input regarding the gift shop, so if you needed anything, you could go to the market down the road a few minutes and see if you could find what you needed there. Overall, I would absolutely go back on another trip to Cuba

Sanctuary White Sands: Brand New Resort with potential

The resort is quite new and has yet to tap into its full potential. Despite being an adults-only destination, it features two shallow pools akin to children’s pools, encircled by lounge chairs. I believe this space could be repurposed more effectively. The majority of the staff seem to be in the early stages of their employment, yet their earnest efforts to excel are evident and commendable, especially considering the broader challenges of supply shortages in Cuba. Overall, my stay was enjoyable, particularly due to the oceanfront room that offered a daily spectacle of the sunrise cresting the ocean’s horizon from the comfort of my balcony.

Sanctuary White Sands: Amazing Resort

I was looking for a smaller, quieter resort with a nice pool and beach. I was thrilled with the Sanctuary White Sands. Both the pool and ocean were extremely warm. The ocean was crystal clear. Our room was more than adequate. We had a partial ocean view together with construction of the new hotel next door but the construction was never an issue. The food in Cuba was as to be expected. I can’t say enough about this place . You will eat,drink,dance,laugh,cry.. and meet all the people who makes the resort a JEM !! Ariel you are by far the most amazing concierge!! Cuba is Cuba ….go for the Beach!! Open your eyes look at the sky and enjoy ❤️
