Melia Internacional: Fantastic vacation!!

I had a fantastic vacation at this hotel, and found it receptive and hospitable from check-in to check out. Despite some negative comments I have read regarding the food, I found the food to be delicious, abundant, fresh, and there was always a variety. You couldn't ask for more. The staff was extremely polite, and I was always kindly greeted by Yilainy at the buffet. Although this hotel is rated 4.5 stars, I would give it 5+ stars. I look forward to going back some times soon.

Paradisus Varadero: Fantastic Vacation!

We had a wonderful vacation at Paradisus Varadero. The resort was lovely! I highly tec the spa!! Food was great, entertainment fun and staff outstanding! You can not beat the beach at this resort!! We would definitely return!

Hotel Los Cactus: Great Resort!

The room was clean and bright. There were bars everywhere for convenience. 3 meals a dat, served buffet style with lots of options. Grounds are well kept, and the beach was fantastic! The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. I'm definitely going back!

Hotel Blau Las Morlas Varadero Beach: Amazing BEACH

A small quiet resort - which I loved. The beach was beautiful and clean and towels were plentiful. I hate to complain. It's Cuba and I've been there many times. However - 80% of the beach chairs were broken, the room needed updating and repair (rusty lamps, crumbling tiles, ) - we tried to change rooms but apparently the resort was full. It was not. Food was the worst I've ever experienced in Cuba. The hamburgers? looked like Alpo. Breakfast was the only decent meal. Definitely another  [... read more]resort next year.

Grand Memories Varadero: Dated , Completed in 2010 , somewhat run down , needs updating .

Towels was a BIG problem , We had family there and 3 teens shared a room with only 2 towels , they never changed the towels all week despite constant complaints for more . Food was plentiful but was always just warm not hot . Weather was perfect all week ,along with the beautiful beaches . Seeing so many classic cars was wonderful but outside the resort poverty was prevalent . Didn't see any entertainment other than something going on in the lounge area each night . You get what you pay for in Cuba , as long as your expectations are low , you could enjoy it .

Grand Aston Varadero Beach Resort: Great resort

Great food, coffee, great atmosphere. The beach chairs were awful. The beach could be cleaned or grated. Very small area where there were'nt any rocks in the water. House cleaning good be better. The stairwell was very dirty. Eventhough, we would go back.

Sol Palmeras: Great experience!

Hotel grounds were beautiful and very clean! For an older resort, we were very pleased!!! The staff at the buffet were always friendly and accommodating! The beach was absolutely stunning!!!!!!!!!!!

Sanctuary at Grand Memories Varadero: Good value

Sanctuary Grand Memories Varadero is a very clean and well maintained facility. Staff very friendly, all services were adequately provided. It was very safe. Pathway lighting could be improved, as it can be difficult to reference your location after sun goes Dow. Signage is very limited and really does help navigate your way around. Overall all I would rate this resort as a sold 8/10 …..would return in the future.

Paradisus Varadero: Great Choice for a Relaxing Beach Vacation

We enjoyed our recent stay at Paradisus Varadero. The grounds are beautiful. The beach area at this hotel has a special feel with lots of palm trees directly on the beach. The water is shallow for a long way out, so great for families with young kids. You won't be disappointed with the entertainment options at Paradisus. Activities are plentiful for the young at heart, with Yoga, Stretching, Beach Volleyball, Soccer, Tennis, Kayaking, and lots more. Or simply walk for miles along Varadero beach. [... read more] You also have a Gym and Spa at your disposal in the Royal Service Section. There are also medical services on site in the Royal service area. Food and drinks could use some improvement in the standard section. You may need to upgrade to Royal Service or The Reserve for more selection and higher quality. My main concern was the Ara buffet which had no windows and hence birds could fly in and scavenge for food. Cuba is alive and well, the people, food, beautiful beaches. We met so many wonderful people during our stay, everyone is so friendly and welcoming. A pleasure to meet. I had a fantastic week away, would recommend this resort 100%

Club Tropical: Good Resort

Property was well kept, washroom we're mostly clean always, but the actual toilets had no seats.. Staff was all great, food was ok, but not much of a selection, very repetitive, same foods daily. Snack bar only served bread and cheese(cheese sandwich). Good if you wanna relax, not many activities on site. Many sightseeing experiences.

Melia Las Americas: Excellent adventure

Hotel was better than expected good food and amenities will be back. Proximity to golf course was perfect and grounds were well maintained. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Restaurants were better than expected, good selection and quality.

Sanctuary at Grand Memories Varadero: Decent Resort

Overall the resort was clean, the staff friendly, enjoyed the Sanctuary area. Did find it difficult to connect with butler. Found the resort could do much better about communication regarding events, shows etc. Food was typical of urban resorts.

Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: An absolute gem ?

This was our first time to this resort. We will definitely return. Amazing staff, so professional, welcoming and kind. Plenty of food, great variety. Beautiful beach. Go for the Royal Service. Very much worth it.

Melia Internacional: What an amazing trip!

Modern, clean, friendly. Staff was very accommodating. The food was top notch . No shortages, in fact the buffet had everything you wouldn't expect. Sushi, crab legs, carving fresh Parmesan from a wheel of cheese for your pasta. Omelets and fresh fruits of all kinds everyday. Beach was white sand deep into the ocean. Beach bar staff was amazing, thanks gentlemen. Hope to see everyone again one day.

Grand Aston Varadero Beach Resort: Top resort in Varadero

This resort is so clean and friendly. Not to mention the first stop from the Airport when you get there. Food - Was great every morning there were baskets of fresh eggs and they cook them to your liking. Never ran out of eggs or bread and one morning they even had fried bologna which us once from the Maritimes love. Staff - Excellent and friendly, go out of their way to see a smile on your face. Grounds - It is not a small resort but it's not the biggest either so the pools, bars and restaurants on the facility are all close in walking. The pool is a great size for the size of the resort and beach has two accesses one on east and one from the central area of the resort. They also have a Tiki bar between the pool and the beach with a Tiki bar on the beach as well. Yes of course the pool has a swim up bar. Facility - Clean, comfortable, easy to follow map in the main lobby that will direct you to any number of restaurants that cover food from all over the world. You can relax in a spa or workout in the gym. Non stop activities. Entertainment - Music and dance shows every night of the week.
