Samba Vallarta: Not totally satisfied

The resort was ok but a bit dated. The staff were very good in providing the service you would expect from a all inclusive resort. For the cost we found the liquor was not top shelf as we had encountered at other resorts for the same cost. The rooms has a strong odour and the beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable. I don't think we would stay here again. Food was ok but repetitive as it is hard to please all palates. If you like a small resort you may like this one.

Bahia Principe Explore Tulum: Beautiful bahia

Very nice resort ,the grounds are stunning . The staff are sweet , the rooms are big and very clean . Great entertainment . Will be returning , thx for a great vacation . The food was very tasty also the alacarts the service was fast . Friendly animals on the property . Thank you for a great time .maureen and Hank beekmans

Emporio Acapulco: Hotel and staff need big improvement

We went through 5 rooms checking in because nothing was working in them/ example ….Room key would not open the door no hot water in shower hair blower stopped working no air conditioning not working just to name a few. The food was terrible and service was like we were invisable. We were ignored. No entertainment because it is only an all inclusive hotel for a few.

Barcelo Maya Riviera: First time to Cancun

Amazing room with ocean view...hot tub on balcony...champagne...comfortable bed and everything was brand new , the place was clean top to bottom , and the food and service was absolutely incredible Barcelo set the bar very high in terms of luxury and comfort...I’ Going again next winter

Platinum Yucatan Princess: Amazing resort

This resort was amazing. The beach was a little rocky but we bought some water shoes and they did the trick. You can always just walk 2 minutes to the sister resort and they have a better beach. Food was amazing! Loved all the a la cartes. Was a great bonus that you didn’t have to make a reservation. We also had access to the restaurants at the sister resorts which was nice. Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Beautiful Resort!

This is a beautiful resort. Well laid out and accessible for all, so if that's on your list of needs, this is the place for you. Check in was quick and painless and our room was ready right away. The room was excellent. We were just in a standard junior suite and it was perfect for the two of us. The open concept washroom is odd, but wasn't an issue. Riu Emerald Bay: Beautiful resort

Well the weather and construction was the only main issues we had Unfortunately there is nothing we can do with the weather but if the pools were heated some we would of been able to enjoy them a little more. most of our times was spent on the beach The construction with the elevators was the worse just the waiting time for an elevator was insane, at one time we waited for 6 elevators to go buy before we were finally able to get in one to come to the lobby, and at another time we were in t [... read more]he LL lobby and got in with only 6 people in the elevator we got stuck and we kept ringing the bell but nobody came so my Husband who works in maintenance knew how to get us out and sure enough we finally got out after being stuck for 10 minutes But the resort itself is very beautiful and the food was amazing, we did not go to the a'la cartes has the buffet was excellent and many choices to choose from Over all we made the best of it with the bad weather and had fun anyways

Sheraton Buganvilias Puerto Vallarta Hotel: Friendly Resort

I found this hotel to be clean and friendly. Because it is a time share as well as a Hotel, you don't sign in for a ALL Inclusive, yes usually water sports and other activities are extra, but here there is beer and alcohol that is extra as well. They tell you that you are Extra Inclusive, then they want to charge you for a Beer... fine print. Rooms were clean, but they were slow doing it. Just a lack of direction. PLEASE do not get me wrong, relaxing, friendly staff. Just need a little more knowledge for there employees. Las Palmas by the Sea: Small but Mighty fine resort

Las Palmas will make you feel at home quickly. The staff are incredible and service is amazing, everything is very clean and well cared for. The resort is right on the beach, so of course, the view is delightful. Sunsets will take your breath away!

Riu Caribe Cancun: RIU Caribe In Canccun Mx

Here's the good, the bad and the ugly: The Good - pleasant and (sometimes) helpful staff. Can't say much about the front desk staff though. Very clean hotel but disappointed there are no in-room coffee makers for our morning coffee. Drinks were ok. Only 2 specialty restaraunts open - the Steak house served a great hamburger but their steak and chicken were absolutely horrible - dried out tasteless steak and under-done chicken that was like chewing rubber. The Pizza place by the beach served awe [... read more]some pizza. The Mexican place was also open but we'd heard bad things from other patrons so didn't go. Needless to say we are sick of hamburgers and pizza. The beach and pools were beautiful and clean - no seaweed. Wait service on the beach was sometimes there and when it was it was good. The Bad - the food was horrible. Buffet consisted mostly of fish (we're not big fans). The beef and chicken at the buffet were consistently dried out and very blah tasting. Often there would be empty trays at the buffet that never seemed to be refilled (who knows what they were). We are not late diners and the buffet was open for 1-1.5 hours after we left so why trays weren't refilled is anyone's guess. Lunch was always the same boring stuff and often consisted of leftovers from the buffet dinner the night before. The Ugly - Our room was on the 3rd floor near the only set of elevators in that wing. On a nightly basis there was entertainment in the main lobby which was open to all wings right to the ceiling. The music was SO loud that we couldn't even hear our TV in our room with the volume cranked to 25. In addition, there was a beach party with booming music hitting us from the opposite direction as well as tour ships that would cruise about 1/2 mile off the beach and absolutely blast their entertainment. Most nights things would quiet down to a reasonable level around midnite but then there's always the drunk stragglers whooping it up in the hallways until 3 or 4 am. Needless to say - don't count on getting much in the way of rest during your stay. Upon complaining we were offered another room on the first floor and only a few feet further from the lobby. Sorry but I did not see the value in packing up and moving just to be a few feet further away - we needed to be higher and in a different wing altogether but they wouldn't accomodate. Can't say that I'd return or even recommend this resort - very disappointed.

Barcelo Maya Riviera: YES!

Our 5th stay at BM - first at Riviera. A large modern facility that exceeded our expectations (considering it only opened approximately 6 weeks ago). A number of previous reviews are either referring to one of the older resorts or outdated i.e. there IS alcohol served before noon and there is free wi-fi including on the beach (but why worry about being on-line as you're supposed to be on VACATION). Rooms are spacious with California King Bed, very comfortable mattress and humongous pillows plu [... read more]s a Jacuzzi tub on the balcony (a little cramped and low power for the jets). Food was FANTASTIC – be it breakfast, lunch or dinner. The food selection is enormous – great for weight watchers as you can ‘watch’ your weight increase daily. Men remember trousers for dinner (I am a shorts person but nothing wrong with maintaining a high standard). Staff at all the restaurants were fantastic. What was noticeable is a lack of tipping. Come on guests …… a couple of bucks per meal is less than you pay for a coffee! Special mention: Giovanna & Benjamin at LaComedie and Alberto Lopez at Buffet Mirimar. Noticeable was a lack of Top Shelf liquor. Staff throughout the resort were exceptional and my sincere thanks to you all.

Riu Cancun: Not a 4 Star

The hotel is definitely not a 4 Start as claimed. No room service! No coffee machines in the rooms. Food needs improvement! Different named restaurants yet have access to only one buffet! Poor management. Our door was kicked down during our stay at 3AM. We had to move to another room because the door frame was completely broken and the room door could not be shut!! We were advised by security the management would be in touch with us the next day. No concern for us at all. Very poor management!!!

Ocean Coral and Turquesa: very nice resort!

Grounds, pools and beach were beautiful. Really liked the three pools with kids at one side and "party" pool at the other. Rooms a bit dated but not terrible. Staff were friendly and helpful but getting your room cleaned/restocked could be dicey at times. All in all a great place.

Barcelo Maya Colonial: A Wonderful Family Vacation

The Barceló Riveria Maya Colonel Resort was just beautiful. All the members of our family had wonderful, pool access, rooms. The staff were very attentive and the food provided at all the dining rooms were excellent. There was something for everyone.

Riu Palace Costa Mujeres: Beautiful resort!

Beautiful , new hotel. However, they should have an adults only section. Children were even allowed in the swim up pool bars. The food was good especially at the buffet. We were not impressed with the other restaurants because of the lack of choices and some were not opened every day. The best part of this place was the excellent beach which you could walk for miles. It's an upcoming area with lots of new resorts being built. I would not go back here unless I took my grandchildren.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Great Resort

The hotel although aging is still great , the service is impeccable from start to finish . We had a minor problem twice which was taken care of right away . We are repeat customers so that kind of says it all , the food is great , big variety, the waiter staff are friendly and right there to meet all your needs . Finally the golf course, it is pristine, if your a amateur or professional you’ll appreciate the course and how well it’s kept . See you next year Gerry .

Grand Marival Emotions Resort and Suites: Enjoyed the stay very much

The Hotel is well managed, the staff are very friendly and all the areas are kept very clean. The food is plentiful offers a wide variety it is quite excellent. We enjoyed the Ocean, the beach and opportunity to walk for ever along the beach. The many Pools at the Hotel are wonderful especially the many options for the children. This is the second time at this Hotel.

Crown Paradise Golden: Great resort

We loved the resort adults only is the way to go ( there should be adults only flights as well) there should be more guacamole and pico de Gallio for a Mexican place great staff clean rooms would definitely recommend this one and we would go back on the other hand sunwing is not a great airline you check in at terminal3 walk to a gate they stuff you on a bus and drive to some remote terminal on the other side of the airport to board the plane then the same thing on the way back don’t know why  [... read more]they started this but it’s a pain in the butt 95 percent of the people have to stand up in the bus

Barcelo Maya Riviera: Best Ever!

The Barcelo Maya Riviera is the best all inclusive resort we have ever stayed at. The rooms, including the bathroom, are spacious and the hot tub on the balcony is spectacular. The ocean view couldn't be any better. The breakfast and lunch buffet selections and quality are second to none ever experienced. Most impressive is the staff, no matter the venue, all very friendly and accomodating. The perk of having access to use the other adjacent Barcelo resorts is great, particularly the additional range of other first class restaurants it offers.

El Dorado Seaside Suites: Excellent Resort!

Love the nature surrounding and the beach. All staff are friendly, courteous and excellent in their service. You will never be bored, fantastic day and very entertaining evening activities. Would highly recommend thos resort.
