Barcelo Maya Beach Resort: Fantastic spot

The hotel was beautiful very clean great service huge resort but tons of space to just relax and not be bothered by others. Food was very good service was excellent but our room had a terrible view. Lots to do and the whole family had great experience.

Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya: Absolutely amazing!

We spent a week over Valentine's Day and have nothing but good things to say, from the super friendly staff, great food selection, cleanliness of rooms and meticulously maintained grounds. We will definitely be back.

Hotel Xcaret Mexico: Great resort

While this resort wasn't fully operational when we went (the lagoons weren't fully finished for swimming in) it was still amazing. Friendly staff- you could stop anyone and ask a question and they were respectful, kind and always willing to help out. The resort itself was beautiful. Having the opportunity to snorkel, underwater rivers, etc.... via the parks is way better for the adventurer then Disney (in my opinion) and I think when it is fully operational, very comparable in price. Three friends went to this resort. The rooms were large with lots of space for us and, in reality, four of us could have fit very comfortably in the room if we wanted to. The balconies are large enough for two hammocks, little alcove with a coach and it had another chair on it. Sometimes they were a bit later with making up the room but we would just call, let them know we were heading out for drinks and supper and would ask them to make the room. It was always done when we returned. The bar fridge was the same--well stocked and if we ever needed anything we just called and they would arrive in a very timely fashion. Food was great with a lot of variety- something for everyone. If you are a beach lover you may not be as enthused. The beach is lovely but not very long so you can't go for long walks along the beach. But they have paths everyone on the resort and you can walk easily and safely. While we were there the winds were high so we couldn't snorkel off the beach (although we were told you can when it's calm). The water was lovely and warm. For the cooler days the heated infinity pool was lovely (although the ocean water was, I think, almost the same temperature). For us, we booked when they had their opening deal--it was an amazing deal. But, even looking at the prices now and know what we got for service, food, inclusion of the park I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Barcelo Maya Beach Resort: Incredible Resort

Beautiful hotel on a large property with plenty of activities and restaurants in the complex. The staff are friendly and accommodating, the food is delicious at every location and there are plenty of loungers at pool and beach in sun or shade. Can't wait to return!!!

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Great Family Resort

There were six of us on our family vacation, ranging in age from 12 (grandson) to 63 and we all had a really great holiday. We had three rooms, all in the same building. We were able to connect easily through the hotel telephone system or using their wifi on on cells. The gourmet a la carte restaurants were amazing! My favourite was the Italian restaurant - beef tenderloin, seafood pasta, Yummy! The staff were helpful, friendly and courteous. Our room was always kept clean and fresh by Esperanza. Our king bed was very comfortable. We experienced some plumbing issues with our toilet - couldn't flush any paper! We all loved the beach and enjoyed fabulous beach massages. The kids got nonpermanent tattoos. Day trips were abundant, but understand the cancellation policy...very difficult to get a refund.

We enjoyed our stay at this resort it was amazing from the service and beaches . The resort was clean and the food was amazing we recommend the Barcelo resorts to anyone who is looking for a truly remarkable way to relax and unwind d from the busyness of life!

Dreams Aventuras Riviera Maya: Beautiful resort

We found this resort very clean friendly and lots of activities. The staff were very accommodating and made our holiday super. The dolphins and manitee were really great at the resort. We rented a golf course and checked out the community which is very friendly and very secure to be there.

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Second time here!

We brought my sister and her hubby with us for our second trip here as we loved our first time sooo much! This time was still great but the attention to detail in terms of butler service wasn't as goos as our first time. I think they must have had a new person training in the diamond club reception because his answer to everything was YES! but unless we asked our butler directly it didnt happen. Our butler was very hard to get a hold of this time. We only saw him 3 times in 8 days not for lack  [... read more]of trying. There was far too much manager presents making their service in the restaurants inconsistent....ie. one night a manager sent my hubby and sister's hubby back to change out of their sandals then the hostess let the next guy in with the same sandals and i called her on it and she said thwy were dress sandals and were okay! I'm not sure when reef sandals became dress sandals but apparently they are for some men and not others.....i was super frustrated with those inconsistencies. Also....there was a big and small tractor on the diamond club beach side for 5 of our 7 beach days all morning and into the afternoon removing seaweed. We couldn't even hear the ocean or converse with each other. It's still a gorgeous resort with exceptional service but it wasnt the same the second time around and i would not spend $6000 again for the room we got this time that also wasn't what we requested. My sister got the right room but we just got what was left which was definately a big disappointment to myself. Our butler did fix it and even upgraded us on our last 2 nights to a beautiful room. He really tried but i think he was over worked and his messages weren't being passed onto us. I'd go back again but not diamond club or even hideaway....there was no real benefit this time. The sercixe has changed too much and i think its because the bean counters have scaled back on the luxury we experienced the first time.

Grand Riviera Princess: Fantastic resort

Friendly staff, clean grounds and amazing food. We did not take part in all the activities but a whole variety of things were available everyday. I would recommend the spa services. The massages on the beach are sooo relaxing and are performed by registered therapists who provide receipts for insurance purposes. I Wouldn't change a thing. Our stay was perfect.

Grand Sunset Princess: Best Resort yet!!!

This was a well rounded resort, fun for all ages. Great food and drinks, very clean. We would recommend this resort to anyone, will not be disappointed. Our 4 th all-inclusive vacation and the best one yet!!

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Friendly resort

Very friendly atmosphere, amazing people, room is big and spacious, food is great, we had the best massage ever , showtimes is good, but not enough time to dance.The beach is nice, unfortunately water was dirty with seaweeds.

Iberostar Waves Tucan: Amazing Resort

The grounds, buildings, common areas absolutely beautiful. All employees, entertainment, restaurant servers, bartenders, housekeeping, pool servers....so attentive and friendly and professional. All facilities were beyond our expectations. I can’t wait to go back.

Ocean Maya Royale: Excellent service...small well maintained resort

Recommend this resort Great staff ,good food,clean rooms no complaints Special restaurants excellent good food great service Only issue not a great beach at times piano bar crowded and noisy On checking in had to pay a Federal tax ( $18 US ) which had not been communicated to us by West Jet..

Platinum Yucatan Princess: Great Resort

Hotel was excellent. Clean, luxurious, everything you want in an all-inclusive. Food was great, particularly at the a-la-carte restaurants. Staff were exceedingly friendly and courteous. This was our first all inclusive as a couple, and we were very happy with how it all turned out. The "adults-only" provisions meant that overall the resort was a bit quieter, which was perfect for a relaxed beach vacation. Barcelo Maya Beach Resort: Great resort

This is no doubt one of the nicest resort we ever go. Just one suggestion buy rooms directly from hotel not through agents. We go there with kids and two rooms and promised by Trip Central agent that rooms will be close one to another. Sadly we were placed on the different flors acrossed in the building and moved to different resort as well. We contacted Trip Central but they informed us that have nothing to do with them and ask us to contact Air Canada vacation hotel agent. That was rough start but after that we have awesome time with outstanding food and services.

Grand Sunset Princess: Ok resort

The resort was a little confusing as they have mirrored lobbies, Food was ok had to be early to get the bacon at breakfast. Beach is very small and rocky. Power went out in our room , called front desk but no answer at 3 am. NOT ENOUGH BAR STAFF HAD TO WAIT TO Long FOR SERVICE.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: Lovely Stay

Stayed February 6th to February 13th, 2018 - My husband and I chose this resort for our honeymoon and could not be happier with that choice. The staff was lovely, the rooms were very clean, spacious, and comfy. The food was good (not the best I have ever had, but definitely good enough to make me look forward to meals). Hotel Xcaret Mexico: Amazing Vacation Destination

This resort is more then we could have ever asked for. From the moment the private shuttle picks you up and takes you directly to the resort it was seemless. The check in was a breeze and we even got an upgrade. Which in all honesty wasn't necessary as you spend little time in your room and the standard garden rooms are absolutely beautiful! Large rooms, comfortable beds, hammocks on the deck, spa like washroom that's beyond beautiful! Restaurants were above and beyond, including the always fresh buffet where meals can be prepped right in front of you as well. Trust me, you won't go hungry here! And best of all, the all fun inclusive package. This by far was the selling point for me! A shuttle comes every 20-30mins to take you to three different parks, Xcaret, Xplor, Xenses. And they all offer something amazing for all family members. Book this place, it will not dissapoint! I could go on and on, but it's truly a must see resort!

Iberostar Waves Paraiso Beach: All good except for the food!

The hotel and grounds was one of the most beautiful we have seen and we travel 2-3 times a year to all inclusive properties. The staff is pretty amazing, they all seem happy to be there and are always willing to help. The beach and swimming pools are lovely. Entertainment staff work hard during the day and the shows at night were well done. The only downside was the food, lack of variety!! A la carte were just OK, Japanese was actually quite good. We had a great week with a party of 23 for an after Wedding Group and all agreed that the food was under par for the price we paid and the brand Iberostar. For this reason most of us would not return to this property.

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancun: Absolute Perfection

The Ocean Coral & Turquesa was absolute perfection from the time we arrived to the day we said goodbye.  Our stay was the week of Feb 5th to 12th, 2018 and I miss it already! This resort exceeded all of our expectations!  The food was fantastic, the property was stunning, the service was impecable and the rooms were spotless! From the buffet to the al a carte menus, there is no possible way to go hungry as the variety was endless. Our room was the not the privilege but the sapphire club option. We could not use the privilege restaurant or privilege beach area, but it included use of the privilege pool, wine on arrival in the room, slippers and bathrobes, and very large spotless suite. The 4 pools were very clean and refreshing, you could choose a different one depending if you wanted the activities or quiet and relaxing. They have plenty of lounging options so always a space available. The beach was beautiful and well cared for with grooming done all the time. Plenty of lounge chairs and palapa's for everyone including beach service for drinks. The service from the resort is extremely unique as there is not one area of service that is lacking in attention to detail and the staff go above all to make your stay the best possible.  Thanks to all at the resort, we will definitely be back for sure!
