Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Beautiful Resort

Well maintained property, beautiful grounds with lush landscapes and vibrant flowers. The staff were very friendly and respectful. They were always “happy, happy “ The rooms were fresh and so clean. The bathrooms throughout the resort were always well stocked and clean,yes, even the beach bathrooms ! The evening entertainment for the most part was good, some parts were repetitious, but overal, was good. Highlights being the beach party, fire show , and Latin dancing show.

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Great vacation!

Great resort. Friendly staff who always served you with a smile. Nice clean resort, lots to do all the time. Entertainment staff worked really hard to keep you having fun day and night. Great restaurants, especially the Japanese. Nice ambience with live violin player at the Italian. Disappointed they didn't have international drinks at the bar. Rooms need a facelift. Washroom needs major renovation eith more counter space.

Vista Sol Punta Cana: Nice relaxing week

We are happy we came to this resort. Our room in Building 2 was very close to everything, we were on 4th floor with an elevator. We booked a la cartes for most nights and enjoyed the Mexican and Gourmet. The drinks are very good, but the house wine is disgusting. We ended up buying bottles of wine at the supermarket close by for our evening meal. The staff we dealt with were always helpful and spoke English. The grounds are very well kept, and we really enjoyed the peacocks and birds on resort!

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Second time and still beutiful

Traveled Jan 28th 2018 for 7 days, exceptional service, great beach, excellent food and drinks, only reason i would not return is the resort has grown in the past 5 years and is very busy, but the biggest reason is the staff hounding us to buy in a time share, i always wondered what happen to all the sleezy used car salesmen, well there all in punta cana selling time shares!!! big turn off!!

5 star.. From start to finish was well beyond my expectations. Everything from the grounds, staff, food, Bevi's. Nothing bad to say. I will definitely be returning. Of the approximately 12 resorts in the Caribbean I have visited this is actually my favorite.

Ocean Blue and Sand: Great Family Vacation at Ocean Sand and Blue!

We were a group of 13 people, older adults, younger adults, teenagers and youngsters and there was something for everyone... The kids club (called the Daisy Club) was great with outdoor climbers, a trampoline and a club house set up for various activities. The teens enjoyed playing video games, bowling and foosball at the teen club. The food at the resort was really good, no one got sick, the drinks were great but service was mediocre. Overall, I would still recommend the Ocean Blue and Sand as long as expectations are not set too high.

TRS Cap Cana Hotel: Excellent Resort (our home away from home)

We stayed at AlSol Tiara in Punta Cana for 7 nights and loved every minute of it. The service was great. Employees were very helpful, entertaining, polite and always ready to serve you. Room service was close to perfect, bed was made nicely and decorated every morning, and the sheets were folded down neatly in the evening. Only issue with room service was the cleanliness of the floor and they didn't leave us clean towels daily, but when we'd call for towels they were at our door within 5 min [... read more]utes. Henry, the "bell boy" was great, he is always willing and ready to help even when he is quite busy. Alexander, the front lobby clerk is very welcoming and helpful also. The entertainment staff was amazing (too many to name), there was never a dull moment with them around. We participated in activities daily and won great prizes. The food was delicious, so much to choose from. Although the website states only 3 restaurants, there is actually much more than that. The Luxury Village offers several restaurants that are open to Tiara Cap Cana. There is no limit to how many times you reserve at a restaurant and there's a large variety of meals to choose from at each one of them. We stayed in the Marina Swim out Suite, what an amazing room. With the pool just a few steps from the patio door and a nice terrace to relax. The view of the resort at night is breathtaking, all the pools light up in different colours. The beach at the resort is quite small but the resort offers free shuttle service on a daily basis that will take you to 2 large beaches close by. We really enjoyed the nightly shows especially the Dominican Dance and the Circus. All in all this resort is a little piece of paradise. We will definitely return to our "home away from home" again. Barcelo Bavaro Palace: Awesome Resort!

The Barcelo Bavaro Palace Deluxe is amazing! My adult children and I stayed in the junior suite oceanfront room..fabulous! I especially loved the outdoor jacuzzi with oceanfront view. The grounds we’re immaculate. A really nice touch is the relaxing music playing throughout the day from “rock shaped”speakers along the path. The beach was kept clean, chairs in good condition. Lots of great food, we especially loved the Japanese a la carte. Lots of shops from decent price to the more expensive. The bus pick ups for excursions were always on time and good fun. We enjoyed swimming in the pool and the ocean. We enjoyed room service a couple of times. Our room was kept clean and the turn down service was a nice touch. Friendly and helpful staff. Definitely choose premium level. We would absolutely come here again.

Ancora Private Residence Yacht Club and Marina: Amazing resort

I've been to Punta Cana twice before at different resorts, we were absolutely amazed with the size of the room and how clean it was. Can't say enough about the staff, they went above and beyond especially Sergio who arrange a birthday party for my husband, the entertainment was excellent. Wonderful resort, can't wait to go back.

Wyndham Alltra Punta Cana: Nothing but GREATNESS

Just got back from 9 days at this resort and I have not one bad thing to say. This place was beyond awesome. The resort was the cleanest I have ever seen in a resort by far. The food and the drinks.... again so impressed it was amazing. The staff were amazing in all areas but the ones that really stuck out to me were the waitresses at the pool, they were the best by far and I mean by far. Occidental Caribe: Service sucked

The service sucked at this hotel... I've been to 3 star hotels that have better staff and service then this hotel. Also the afternoon events were lacking ...no bingo and Zumba dancing. I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone and I will not be returning there.

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Amazing Holiday

Wonderful holiday, the resort offers so much, the food is excellent in the buffet and the individual restaurants. The rooms attractive with plenty of space, bathrooms great jacuzzi bath as well as a full independent shower. The service outstanding in every department, transport around the resort could not be easier. Pool area has plenty of loungers and good entertainment. Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: 5 star all around

Had an awsome time. Staff were amazing. Grounds were exceptionally clean. Food was abundant and very good. Our server by the pool Zolita was the best I've seen. Santo and the entertainment group made our vacation fun and entertaining. I would recommend Ambar Blue to everyone.

Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Punta Cana: Great resort!

The Hard Rock has it all. Beautiful rooms (loved the jet tub, private patio, and comfortable bed), lots of restaurant choices for whatever you're in the mood for, great pools, and wonderful staff too!

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Great beach, good food, decent service, but watch out for mosquitos

Beach was excellent - clear water, decent amount of shadey lounge chairs. Food was really good. Drinks were also good. Service really varied depending on the person - one of our butlers (Odelite) was AMAZING!!!! And some of the waitors and other staff would go out of their way, but others were not as helpful. One issue we had for example was that our room had tons of mosquitos throughout our stay and we kept getting bitten in our sleep. We were killing like 5+ per day and there were more. We as [... read more]ked the hotel twice to address it but they never did. Bring lots of bug spray including extra to spray around the room doorways etc.

Occidental Punta Cana: Amazing trip

Traveled with my fiance week of Jan 28th - Feb 4th/2018, 3rd time at that resort. Newly renovated rooms and lobby which looks amazing, ground very nice and well kept!! Staff amazing as always, very welcoming. Food is very good, ate at 2 a la carte, Steakhouse and Mexican is very good and tasty. Amazing beach not crowed and good time swimming with those awesome waves. Chanel one of the lobby bar manager is an amazing woman, we met her for the first time in 2012 she's the best!! Sunscape Bavaro Beach: Lovely resort

The Sunscape Bavaro was lovely. The grounds are beautiful, the pools are clean and lovely. The dining rooms were clean and the staff happy, helpful and courteous. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The maid we had was efficient, her replacement not so much. We upgraded to the Sun Club which was not necessary. The food was ok. I find the food in Punta Cana all the same. They did offer great hamburgers, pizza, fried chicken, French fries for the days you didn't want beef, fish,etc. Our  [... read more]friend hurt her knee and within hours her room was moved to the ground floor and all she had to do was call and a golf cart would pick her up and take her were she needed to go.

Sunscape Bavaro Beach: Resort was fine!

We stayed for a week at the Sunscape Bavaro and found the pools and beach were wonderful. As with most resorts there was a shortage of sun cotts...the drinks were great and well made. Marvelous mojitos! The food was ok....not grear" just ok. But there was alot of selection so you are always able to find something and no one ever went hungrry. One of our party had a real bad knee and it acted up trying to do the stairs to our room...she was moved immediatley to a ground floor room upon reque [... read more]sr and could call for a golf cart for transportation any time. Everything was kept clean and everything in our rooms worked!!! Entertainment was fine but we are not really into it so not fair to judge. We really enjoyed having an after dinner coffee from the cafe' All in all , it was fine. Not exceptional bur fine.

Catalonia Royal Bavaro: Awesome!

The hotel and grounds were absolutely beautiful! We ate at the buffets and three of the a la carte restaurants and found the food to be very good, no complaints there. Rooms were spacious and clean though a little dated. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. The only issue we had was with the 18 hole golf course. We had trouble booking morning tee times for a twosome - even though the tee sheet was wide open and next to nobody out on the course. Finally on the 3rd day the golf club e [... read more]mployee told us they do not allow twosomes out before 12:30, really?!! My husband and I have traveled to many carribean golf resorts and have never encountered such an issue. Had to argue with the staff as no one had informed of us this rule when we booked our trip. Eventually it all worked out and we were allowed to play morning rounds on our last 2 days. So beware - if you're a twosome hoping to play morning rounds of golf you may encounter some push back.

Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort: Great resort

This resort offers great value. We were fortunate to be in recently renovated rooms which were really nice. The grounds are well kept. The food is good.....not excellent. Very difficult to get reservations in the specialty restaurants though. We were suppose to get 2 during our stay and we weren't able to secure any!! The entertainment team is the awesome.
