Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Great resort@

We've stayed at this resort twice and have been very pleased both times. Great service, nice rooms, yummy food and awesome pools. A la carte restaurants were fantastic. The beach was very well maintained with plenty of available loungers no matter what time of day you go. We would definitely come again. Excellent bang for your buck.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Beware

This resort was beautiful however 4 days in I got violently ill. 2 days later both my husband and I got violently ill. We spent the next 3 days in the hospital...where almost nobody spoke English. We were diagnosed with gastroenteritis ... Caused by the food according to the doctor. A week and a half later I'm still not fully well.

Casa Marina Reef Resort: Another Amazing Trip

This was my 8th time to Casa, it truly is my home away from home. The grounds, the cool pools, big pool are all kept in pristine condition. Workers out early every morning cleaning. I had a renovated room on ground floor, hot water was never an issue. Maid services great. It is if off season in October so resort was rather quiet. Town is safe I ventured out by myself and had no worries Night time I would go with my partner in crime lol We had a blast. Returning April 2nd for my 9th time. Don't buy the resort internet, too expensive, get yourself a sim card much cheaper Unlimited data for 5 days 11 US The countdown has already begun 157 days till I return.

Marien Puerto Plata Hotel: Great Resort!

Food was good. Very clean. Resort is very well kept. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Always making sure everything was ok. Only thing missing was a swim up bar and some shade in the pool area. Other than that everything was great! Thank you! We had a wonderful time!

Riu Republica: Terrible Resort

I used to be a big fan of Cuban vacation in this resort. Visited this place countless number of times during last 15 years. Nowadays this resort managed to ruin all the previous positive impressions and this current vacation. The nature is fantastic: still beautiful sea and beach. The resort is at 2 stars maximum. It is in terrible conditions and the management is also terrible. Service in some cases is just substandard: ignoring, rude, unprofessional and even endangering behavior. Blue Bay Villas Doradas: Great time

Front desk staff was fast and pleasant Maria and Lorelei at the swim up bar were great. Waldo and Julio with the entertainment staff was funny and a pleasure to be around. The food was good I just think that if they are going to close something down then it should be the a la carte not the buffets, guest should be given the chose not told they have to have seafood or Japanese. Viva Heavens by Wyndham: Great resort

We had a great time at Viva Heavens in Puerta Plata. The grounds were so clean and pretty. The food was Yummy. Loved the Blend restaurant. The entertainment team are truly what makes this resort a gem. We hope to return next year.

Royalton CHIC Punta Cana: Good Resort

I initially booked the standard luxury room, and had to upgrade, because the toilet wouldn't flush and there is no door on the shower. After i upgraded, the room was much better so if you are gonna book this hotel just splurge a little and get the upgrade. Another issue of mine was the limited options of food, by 10 p.m. everything was closed and you have to order room service, the saving grace was the food overall was good. Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: INCREDIBLE RESORT

My second time at the resort and it only got better! I absolutely love the the resort and am already planning my third return. The staff is amazing, always making sure you are being taken care of and extremely friendly. The entertainment completes your trip. They make you feel welcomed and at home while providing hilarious and fun entertainment. No one beats Angel, Willy, Hairon, Marlon, Stefany and Julio. Thank you Willy the bartender who always made sure we had something to drink and continuously cleaned all the glasses and anything around the pool. Can't wait to go back!!

Ocean Blue and Sand: Good resort!

This resort has an amazing beach and delicious food. We had some problems with AC on the first day but everything was fixed after we mentioned at the front-desk. The food was very good and service as well. Thera are also boiling, pinpong, billiard where you can have some fun. Also, they have amazing entrainment team, you will have lots fun joining their contests.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Great vacation

The grounds were beautiful, well maintained and very large. Staying at Ambar allowed us to go to the other sister resorts which was nice if you wanted a change. Did the swim out room which was definitely worth it as I was in it everyday. Loved the restaurant m.e.a.t definitely worth it. The foam party and silent disco were the two highlights of activities for me. Wonderful trip overall and great staff.

Grand Palladium Punta Cana: Great resort

This resort was wonderful . Beach was awesome and beautiful . Stayed in loft suite as there were 3 adults. So it had a king and full bathroom downstairs and pull out and half bath upstairs. Very clean room . Both mattresses were pretty hard. Cleaning staff amazing. WiFi sucks everywhere but that’s all if Dominican. Buffet excellent every day. Wait staff excellent. Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Great Resort, amazing staff

The staff were amazing and the resort was very clean! The events they had we're enjoyable and they had lots of little things happening around the resort. I would definitely come back. Only thing I would like to see is their rooms updated (at least the one I stayed in)

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Amazing staff!!

Grand Bahia principe aquamarine is nothing less than amazing, the entertainment staff go above and beyond to make sure you are having a great time. They are all extremely nice especially Willy, angel, marlon, stephany, Julio and hairon. The bar and restaurant staff are extremely nice.

Excellence Punta Cana: Wonderful resort!

The grounds are very well manicured at this hotel and the rooms are very large. We had an ocean view suite and it had a fantastic view with a wraparound deck. The food was great in all of the restaurants although the lobster was a bit overcooked at The Lobster House. The staff work very hard especially Ariel who is a waiter at the pool. He was very attentive and always quick to fill our drink order. Just would have thought that a resort of this calibre would be serving great mixed drinks. We will definitely be returning for the rooms, lovely beach, service and food.

Royalton Hideaway Punta Cana: Great Service

The hotel's service was great. They had food available anytime along with drinks including specialty coffee. The butler service was exceptional and made things much easier including getting to my room, learning about the property and getting reservations for dinner. The hideaway beach area was great, very quiet with a great view as it is up a bit higher. I do wish that the vendors which patrol the beach did not bother people so much.

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Another Amazing Trip

As I sit reflecting on the last fantastic 9 day’s I cannot imagine why anyone would feel unsafe here. This marks our 8 th visit. The beach is amazing we love the attention we got from Junior , Irene and Henry (by the way he makes the best Majestic).To all the wait staff, gardeners the maids everyone always stops to say Hola. Barcelo Bavaro Palace: Amazing Resort

We've been to DR at least 8+ times, and by far this was the best resort. We did spoil ourselves with the Ocean Front Premium Level room, which had many perks associated with it, and well worth the extra few $$. The room location was as described - an actual ocean front room, very clean and modern looking. The beach was beautiful and very clean. The restaurants were fantastic, service, menu options and quality of meal. The staff was great pleasant and helpful. The kids loved the splash par [... read more]k, Pirate Island and the pools. And of course, the golfing was amazing! This resort is a 5 star +, and definitely one we will return to in the future.

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Loved our vacation!

This is an extremely large resort. Staff were always asking how we were enjoying our stay and if there was anything we wanted or needed. Food was excellent. Reservations for a la carts were difficult to get at times we wanted- reserving about two weeks before arrival was the only way we got the ones we did. Although you can snorkel here, there is very few fish to see - excursions are necessary for a good snorkeling experience. Shows and nightly entertainment were well done - we especially enjoyed The Lion King and Burlesque. Local vendors wander the beach, but a "no thanks" has them moving on quickly. Overall, one of the nicest, cleanest resorts we have visited.

Catalonia Royal Bavaro: Very nice.
