Playa Pesquero: The resort was beautiful and staff friendly

The food not as good. There were restrictions on supplies. I realize the Covid caused this. I was looking so forward to some salmon and white fish. Also I wanted mojitos .🥴😞 The pools and beach awesome, clean and beautiful. The staff friendly courteous attentive! If the food was better I’d return this year!

Paradisus Rio De Oro: 95 out of a hundred Could be a 100

Staff and locals very friendly and always happy and polite. The only suggestion to improve this hotels overall rating is to address the reception staff performance.There is room to improve the reception service with a possible program on learning basic English.Remember reception is the first point of contact.It was a ok reception but not up to a Five Star service.Everything else,the grounds the pool the beach the restaurants were excellent.This service staff what can I say beautiful peop [... read more]le.

Gran Muthu Almirante Beach Resort: Beautiful Resort

The resort is absolutely beautiful. The beach is super nice but a bit short. Not for long walks. The water is very clear. Excellent for swimming. The Resort itself and grounds are well kept. The staff is super nice and accommodating. Excellent shows in the evening. The rooms are spacious, best bed I had in Cuba so far. However, we had constant problems with WiFi. For a 5* Hotel, the food could have had a bit more of a verity. Also, you had to pay for the white wine. There was no butter no [... read more]r tea. Starfish Cuatro Palmas: Amazing Resort!

I have been to Varadero 4 times and I have to say that Starfish Cuatro Palmas is definitely a great place to stay. The staff is very welcoming and efficient. My room was very good with hot water, nice view to the nightlife in the heart of Varadero; hot water, A/C working very well all night & day. The food was better than the usual food served in Cuba. The beach is as the usual breathtaking turquoise warm water and white sand in Varadero. The resort is huge and such a nice place to relax. I'll b [... read more]e definitely going back to Cuatro Palmas. I have never been back to the other 3 resorts, but Cuatro Palmas, I'll for sure. it has a better infrastructure. Also, for being a 4-star resort, we have wifi for free and I had no connection issues with their wifi.

Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: One of the best destinations you will love to go back

Excellent service,amazing customer care,beautiful night show ,friendly staff,clean beach and swimming pools, good food, on the top of all that very clean and safe rooms. The staff were very helpful and trying to help you every way they can.

Memories Jibacoa: Great resort for the money

The staff is always what makes Cuban resorts so appealing. Fantastic covid training for all staff. Everyone masked 100% and constant sanitizing. The setting and the grounds were beautiful. Food was really well done considering Covid shortages and the fact that is is Cuba. Rooms were clean and comfortable and A/C worked great. Beach cleaned daily and always plenty of lounges at the pool and the beach. The only downside was the number of day passes and short term passes being issued. The vib [... read more]e at this resort is a quiet older crowd so it was really noticeable when midway through the week a lot of younger locals started hanging out in groups around the pool and lobby. The inebriation was apparent and the garbage (empty plastic cups, and half filled drinks) left around the pool was annoying. I understand the hotel has an obligation to keep the resort full but hopefully, when Covid starts to diminish, and more rooms are taken by longer term bookings, it will reduce the short term passes for this resort. Highly recommend this resort if you can pick it up at a good price.

Iberostar Origin Daiquiri: Relaxing Frindly Resort

Our Family had an excellent stay at the Resort. The staff was helpful,friendly and courteous. Cuba has limited resources, but we were offered the best , safe , and comfortable hospitality. We will go back.

Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo: Good Resort but not 4.5 *

Resort has one of the nicest beaches in all Cuba. Friendly Staff doing the best with what they had available to them. Hotel was obviously dealing with shortages in both staff and supplies. We have been to Cuba many times and lower our expectations accordingly. Overall would rate 3.5 of 5.

Los Delfines: Great resort

Great upkeep of the grounds and pool. Very clean. Great service. The food was ok for Cuba. Many restaurants in the area if you don't like what they're serving. No issues with electricity, water or AC. Fast check in. Animation team was great.

Melia Cayo Coco: Beautiful Resort !!

We were amazed at how beautiful & tranquil Melia Cayo Coco is !! As are most people we were apprehensive with "post pandemic" travel but the staff automatically put our worries to rest. Everything was clean and sanitized quite often. The rooms were beautiful and quite comfortable. The staff were amazing !! The only suggestion that I would make to Melia would be to have available a "beach mat" that rolls out to the water so that people with disabilities can actually go home from their v [... read more]acation and say that "they actually put their foot or hand in the ocean"

Hotel Mojito: Great resort

My husband and I stayed at the Mojito March 18-25th. We have been to this resort many times and we can’t say enough for the hard working and resilient Cubans who work here. The grounds are lovely. The food was great with a nice selection of cold cuts, cheeses, fruits and vegetables and fresh baked bread and sweet cakes daily. Covid has played a significant role in the decline of Canadian tourists so to offset costs there were many Cuban families enjoying the resort. There was a supply chain issue where there wasn’t any milk for coffee for 24 hours but not an issue for us. A Good Samaritan procured milk from another resort for the little ones.. Our room was pristine with a very comfortable bed. The housekeepers work very hard at this place and their workload is heavy. The main lounge had great drinks and nightly entertainment that was relaxing… so much talent. The pools are clean and well maintained.. The beach is pristine and the beach bar is fun.. We didn’t do the a la carts but heard from others that they were very classy and the food was wonderful. Covid protocol was in effect and all employees were masked as well as most tourists. Hand sanitizers were all over the resort. Don’t hesitate to go to the Mojito for relaxation, great food and nice hospitality. We felt very safe, people are wonderful and hopefully you will return again and again. Cuban banks don’t accept coins so please tip generously.

Grand Aston Cayo Las Brujas: Beautiful hotel

The hotel was beautifully maintained. Food options were some of the best I’ve had in Cuba. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Bar on the beach made the best drinks especially gin and tonic. I have one suggestion, reception staff should remind some guests about rules and regulations at the hotel. Sadly people who arrived to stay only for a weekend were loud even at late night and didn’t respect others Some tourists from outside Cuba said if it stays like this they will not return!

Gran Muthu Imperial: Amazing one-week vacation

I have been told to lower my expectations because it’s Cuba and because there is serious food shortage. Nothing of the sort happened. My vacation at Grand Muthu Imperial exceeded all my expectations. The weather and the beach were perfect. The hotel was super clean – the room, the common areas, the restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful, including the staff at the doctor’s office. The room was spacious and clean, I had an amazing view. I had a great deal and I hope that the price will not go up too much in the future so I can go back again. Royalton Cayo Santa Maria: Wonderful people and service

This was definitely the best resort we have stayed in in Cuba. The food was served hot and tasty. The pool and grounds were well maintained and the beach was lovely. Since most resorts still haven’t opened yet in Cayo Santa Maria we had the long beach to our selves. We felt very safe at this smaller resort with 122 rooms. All staff wore masks indoors and out. Melia Buenavista: Excellent Hotel and Staff

We recently spent 2 weeks at this hotel and had an amazing vacation. The beaches,pools and rooms were excellent and spotlessly clean. Covid protocols were consistenly in place with cleaning and staff wearing masks. The very best part of the entire experience were the staff. Dhawa Cayo Santa Maria: Rooms where good food needs to be updated same thing every day.

Room was good staff amazing food not so good need to change the menu same stuff every day tough beef . The pools where very clean. One of the washrooms had a horrible smell. Other than that overall i would rate it a 3 an a half star.

Playa Cayo Santa Maria: Resort not up to par after reopening

Beach is amazing, can walk for miles. Pools are lovely. Spa is well done. Haven’t been here for 5 years and it needs some upgrades and repairs, in the rooms especially. Food is adequate/average, there are some shortages but you will not go hungry. Liked the entertainment and musical groups. Staff is very friendly. Melia Las Americas: We keep going back!!

We are returnees for I think the twelved time. As always, there is something that's going to go wrong, I had to pay again for my clubs because I could not find my receipt. So I got it over with. There was a lot of people that had not filled out their Cuban entry form, best to have everything done Toronto airport was not very busy and no issues there other then the Tim Hortons line up !! Mask were worn till we got outside, there was a cooler beer vender in parking lot unlike November Checking in was a breeze, we know a lot of the staff and got our rooms right away There is a serious shortage of beers in stores and at the resort, beers on the golf course are $5.50 us compared to $2.00 no so long ago !! The golf course is in very good shape and the staff are very helpful as usual The people of Cuba are in need of medical supplies & every day items that we take for granted, that they cannot buy at this time, we all brought goods on our trips to help them out All in all, we had a great time again, lots of laughs, in fact I am returning April 3rd to do it again with some other friends!!! Melia Las Americas: DISAPPOINTED

While the resort itself was beautiful and clean, food plentiful and drinks very good I could not get past the amount of people at this resort chain smoking. Being a lung cancer survivor two years now I could not spend any time on the Terrance as my lungs could not handle the smoke. One evening I was only person without a cigarette out of about 50. No matter where I went on the grounds, whether it be the beach, pool,, everyone around me smoked. For that reason, I will not be returning to MLA.

Club Kawama: Good times in cuba

Rooms were clean, resort grounds clean, beach was awesome! Draft beer was strong, lots of food at buffet, snack bar had hamburgers, omelettes, hotdogs, fries. Location is walking distance to the hart of varadaro with markets and restaurants to eat drink from if you get sick of resort food
